A/N Okay. Look who it is! Me! Yay!

I decided I need a new update schedule until my exams. So I'd be updating once or twice a week. Depending on my workload and mood. Usually, my mood is joyful but after online classes... I can be a little... cuckoo...

Did anyone seem disappointed at the sudden 'break-up' of the 'friendship' of Percabeth? No this is not the ending of the book, loves. We still got a few more chaps.

And also when I started this fic I didn't read TOA yet. So I hadn't discovered how much I LOVE Solangelo.

Tell me if you want me to change Thalico to Solangelo in PMs or reviews.

Shout out to LJ for, as usual, helping me.

DISCLAIMER: GO AND LOOK IN THE PREV CHAP.

Here we goo!

Percy:

I went up to my room. I heard some sobs from the room across mine.

Annabeth's.

I was clueless. What should I do? Should I talk to her? I figured the last thing she wanted was a consolation from me. I grabbed my sweatshirt from the chair and texted the guys I was going to visit Mom. It's been a while since I've seen the twins, Mom or Paul.

I walked out of the mansion and breathed in the fresh air. I'd been cooped up here too long and I also needed a swim.

For some reason, being in water gave me strength and relief if I wasn't happy.

Argus offered to take me to my house but I declined and walked to the nearest bus station. I had to put on shades to avoid being recognized. I sometimes wished that life was normal and I wasn't some big pop star or A-list celebrity. It's just so frustrating that someone is always putting tabs on your life. Or walking around with bodyguards if you want to be yourself and without disguise.

I let out a sigh. The bus ride went relatively quickly, and before I knew it, I was at my stop. I got off at the stop, it was near my house, and walked along the path. The bus rattled off. Maybe if I didn't go out with Rachel or if I wasn't friends with Annabeth this wouldn't have happened. No, I wouldn't take away a minute of time I spent with Annabeth these past two months.

*Flashback*

We were in the pool. Annabeth and the girls came out in their cover-ups. They sat on a chair and started talking.

"Girls! You ain't coming to swim?" Leo yelled. The girls rolled their eyes and one by one, they started to get out of their cover-ups.

And let me say, they were… hot.

"Oooohhh man they're hot!" Leo said the words that were echoing in my head. They all glared at him. Leo didn't back down, he even had the nerve to smirk a little. And I think I saw Cally blush.

But I was too distracted by Annabeth.

"You're staring, Seaweed Brain, and drooling." She noted. I quickly put my hand to my mouth to check if I was. (FYI: I wasn't.)

The girls jumped in the pool, creating a wave of water that splashed all over us. Suddenly, someone (cough, Leo, cough) announced a chicken fight. Thalia made Nico scramble onto her shoulders, though he seemed a little grumpy about it. Jason pulled Piper onto his and somehow Cally ended up on Leo's shoulders but she seemed to be happy, so I wasn't judging. Hazel and Frank were in the corner blushing, but in the end, Frank picked her up on his shoulder and joined the fight.

Don't ask me why I had a sudden impulse to eat blue cookies. I voiced my thought and Annabeth offered to help me bake. She slipped on her denim shorts and a tank top and followed me inside.

"Did you know, Seaweed Brain, your mom gave me the recipe to your cookies once?" She said as we walked into the kitchen. I was shocked. Mom wouldn't even give me, her own son, the recipe.

"What? When?" I asked as she took flour from the top rack. She smiled smugly and walked around the kitchen picking the ingredients.

"Are you going to help me? Or are you going to stand there ogling at me?" She asked, the hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. She should smile often, I decided. She looked beautiful. (WHAT? I wasn't lying!)

"No, I'm not going to help you until you tell me when Mom gave you the recipe," I said accusingly.

"Suit yourself." She said and stood there. We had an immense staring competition. But being that I had ADHD, I broke it first.

"Good, now come help me." She said smugly, turning around and mixing the dry ingredients.

A mischievous thought crossed my mind. Walking up behind her, I began to tickle her sides. Annabeth let out a squeal of surprise.

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me what the recipe is," I asked, trying to make my voice sound evil.

"Never!" She said stubbornly between laughs. I tickled her harder.

"Percy…. Stop….. PERSEUS JACKSON!" She yelled between her breaths.

"Never!" I repeated.

"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you!" She said and I let go immediately. She turned towards me and I thought she was about to tell me the recipe. But the mischievous glint in her eyes was disturbing.

"So wha-? WOAH!" I shouted in surprise as she dumped a handful of flour on my face, as Annabeth was in hysterics.

"Oh no, you didn't!" I announced and ran after her getting a handful of flour. In the end, we both got covered in blue cookie batter.

I took some off her cheek and licked it from my finger.

"Mmmm.. .. magnifico!" I said and did a ridiculous chef's kiss.

We didn't make any cookies that day.

*Flashback ends* (A/N: You guys appreciating the flashbacks? Two months is a long time... so prepare yourselves for a LOT of flashbacks)

I was so deep in thought, I didn't realize I made my way to my house. Knocking on the door, I stood back, waiting for a while. Paul opened it with a smile.

"Oh hey, Percy! What a nice surprise! Come in." He said ushering me in. I tried to smile.

"Girl problems?" He asked as soon as I took off my jacket and hung it on the pole.

Was it that obvious?

"Yes. How did you know?" I asked.

"One, you look like someone took all your blue cookies, and two, we've seen the news." He said sitting down on the couch.

"Is mom home?" I asked.

"Oh yeah! Sally! Percy's home!" He yelled. I heard some shrieks of laughter and some thumps. The toddlers wobbled down the stairs, followed by my mom.

"Pewcy!" They shrieked and came towards me and tackled me in a hug.

"Good to see you too guys!" I laughed and returned their hugs.

"Percy!" I heard my mom.

"Mom!" I said and hugged her.

"What brings you here? Did you bring Annabeth?" She said looking behind me.

"No Annabeth's not here," I said sadly.

"Oh, I see. Paul, honey, take the twins to the park won't you?" She said and smiled at Paul. He nodded and ushered the twins outside.

"Spill." She said and handed me a plate of blue cookies. Oh, how much I missed these!

I narrated everything that happened while nibbling the cookies.

"….and now I don't even know what to do!" I whined. Mom patted my back.

"Percy, listen. Sometimes... no all the time, our minds are divided into two. The brain and the heart. The brain is always the one who makes you think you want something because it is more logical or more understandable to you. The heart, however, is always battling for what you really want even if it isn't understandable. These two sides always fight against each other and most of the time the brain wins because you think it is logical. But making decisions depending on your heart is always the best way to go. Now it's the same thing with you, Rachel and Annabeth are two people on each of the sides. But you should be the one who should figure out who is the brain," She pointed to my forehead. "And who is the heart." She pointed to my chest and finished. A name flicked into my mind but immediately went away that I couldn't figure out what it was. I hugged mom.

"I love you, mom."

"I love you too."

*funny sponge bob voice* Two days later..

Annabeth:

I decided I was never going to show my face to anyone. Ever again. I was disturbed but oddly satisfied at my sudden behavior with Percy. I had managed to convince myself it was nothing, just a kiss, right? Nothing special about it. And he didn't kiss me back. So I didn't care. Or so I thought.

I was in my sulking outfit. My big bunny slippers, cotton shorts, and a pajama shirt. I didn't care about my outfit at all. I also decided I wasn't going to the gala either.

Lady Luck seems to be favoring me because I hadn't run into Percy at all. I've only got down from my room if I wanted to eat or drink. Piper tried to talk to me but I shut her out.

I felt so bad about myself but I realized I didn't care about the world so I started reading a book, my favorite past-time, when Piper and Hazel barged into my room, shortly followed by Thalia and Cally.

"You look terrible," Thalia noted as she jumped over the messes in my room that I hadn't bothered to clean.

"Thanks," I said and scooted on my bed. They all sat down.

" What's up, Annabeth?" Cally asked as she took her seat beside me.

"Well, the last time I checked it was the sky," I replied. Cally made a face at me.

"Well, you're certainly not the same," Hazel replied peering over my shoulder at my book. "Whatcha reading?" She asked.

"A book," I replied. Why did they decide to bother me now?

"I can see that. What's the name of the book?" She asked calmly. Hazel rarely gets angry and when she does… you wouldn't want to know.

"The Fault in Our Stars." (A/N: Love that book. I'm totally obsessed. Anyone else? [LJ: that book is amazing, I really recommend it!])

"Didn't you read that already?" Thalia asked.

"John Green's books are so good. You can read them over and over again." Piper answered for me.

"Well…" Thalia started and I could sense an argument so I interrupted before anything could happen.

"What do you guys want?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just that we want to talk with our best friend who seems to be shutting us out for the past two days." Piper finished. I rolled my eyes.

"Sometimes I get scared your eyes are going to get stuck," Thalia muttered shaking her head.

"What is the problem?" Cally asked completely ignoring Thalia. I was debating whether I should tell them or not.

They're your best friends.

I know.

So tell them.

Finally, I decided to tell them what happened. I didn't realize I had tears in my eyes. Screw them.

"Oh, Annabeth." Piper cried and hugged me. All of them did a group hug and I could barely breathe.

"Guys… choking… me.." I wheezed as they let go. They looked at each other and laughed. I joined in.

"So what are you planning to do?" Hazel asked.

"I… um," I said. Apart from sitting around sulking all day, I haven't planned anything else. I was a little shocked by that. I always have a plan. What was this boy doing to me?

"I have an idea! Let's go shopping. Get your mind off things. Anyway, we do need to buy our costumes." Cally said and Piper nodded. I widened my eyes in horror. But then, I had nothing else to do. I had completed all of my homework already, of course.

"Whatever," Thalia said and popped her earphones in. I shook my head at her.

"Let me get changed." I sighed and put a bookmark on the page I was reading and went into the bathroom to change. I was attempting (and failing) to tame my hair when Piper walked in.

"Well, I just want to say, there are plenty more fish in the sea." She said. I smiled at her. I really wasn't in a mood for a lecture.

"Great. Now let's go!" I said and I was able to hear Piper muttering, "Who are you and what have you done to Annabeth?" I chuckled.

"GIRLS? I THINK YOU'RE GONNA WANNA SEE THIS!" I heard Leo shout.

What was it?

A/N Dun, dun, duunnn!

Cliffhanger? Idk...

Whoo-hoo! Managed to finish this. One chap a week until my exams are finished, I hate those stupid !#&% tests. And half-yearlies are THE WORST ones. There wasn't much Thalico in here as I've been battling myself to put in Solangelo and I've figured out everything.

If you guys want me to edit the chapters to make it look more like Solangelo then I will!

Do you guys like (LOVE) John Green's books? I have a feeling you and I would be very wonderful friends...

As usual Review/Favorite/Follow!
