Annabeth:

"We, my friends are going to the mall!" Piper declared as I sat with the girls, after finishing writing about 3 song lyrics with Percy, thinking about…

"We are?" Cally asked, excitedly.

"May I know why?" Thalia asked, annoyed ignoring Cally. Hazel, looked up curiously.

"Because Annabeth, here, is sitting there as if she just lost a chance to buy a million books for free and we need to cheer up!" Piper said looking at me. Wait…was I really looking like that? To be honest, how does she think that the mall would help?

"Okay, if it makes her better, I'm in." Hazel said and smiled at me reassuringly.

I couldn't deny it, maybe it'll help to get my mind off of things.

Soon, we were standing outside the entrance of the mall.

While I was contemplating whether to run back home, Piper hooked her arm around me and dragged me inside.

The mall was bustling with teenagers and families. We walked into a café, to get a drink and that's when we saw her.

"Well, if it isn't Queen RaRa!" Piper said mockingly as she walked towards us. She was in a disguise but we could recognize her anywhere.

"If it isn't the losers." Reyna said back after she noticed us. She was one of our biggest rivals. Reyna is a rapper and a Spanish-American-singer. (A/N I know. But I felt that Reyna will be suited for a rapper)

There was staring contest between us before we all burst out laughing. We all took turn hugging her.

Did I forget to mention that she was one of our best friends? My bad, I guess.

"What brings you here?" She asked as we sat down in a booth.

"Mostly, the coffee." Cally said nodding her head.

"No, I mean Annabeth never comes to the mall and she's being very quiet." Reyna noticed.

Before I could stop them, Piper and Cally went into a full-on detailed explanation of what happened with Hazel correcting them when they exaggerated. Thalia sat there with an expression that said, 'What am I even doing here with them?'

After the whole explanation was over and I was sitting there with embarrassment. Gods, why did I end up with these over-protective but still sweet girls?

Reyna looked furious. And let me be honest, I was beginning to get scared because no one and I mean, NO ONE gets away with just a slap from Reyna if they mess with her.

"Oh, he's going to be very sorry when he meets me."

"Go, Reyna!" Thalia whooped and high-fived her.

"One word, Annabeth, and we're going to kick his butt." Thalia continued running her hand through her pixie-cut hair.

"No, leave him alone! I'm okay!" I practically yelled. Thalia can beat up anyone and I don't think Percy did anything. It was all on me. I didn't take my chance.

"Girl, you look like schist." Hazel said truthfully, surprising us all.

We giggled. Oh, it has been a while since I've hung out with my girlfriends.

"Okay well, maybe I'm not okay." I said smiling as our orders arrived.

We talked to Reyna for a while and then we parted.

Take care, Annie." She said and hugged me and waved bye to us and left.

We walked out of the café and decided to do a shopping spree.

I fell back a pace as the girls walked forward. I wanted to be alone for a while, I guess.

"We meet here, again." I heard a male voice say from my side. The surprising thing was, I kinda wished it was Percy but obviously it wasn't. I could recognize his voice anywhere. Oh, Annabeth, you fell in too deep, haven't you?

I looked to my side to see… Luke!

"Oh hey..."

Percy:

No, no, no, no.

That's not possible! Sure I love her as a friend… but as a lover? NO!

But then, why did I feel like I was lying to myself?

Calm down!

I was just overthinking the situation… right?

You do love her and you're in denial. A small voice added in my head.

What in the Hades. Did I just lose to myself?

Ugh. What should I do now? I obviously have feelings for Annabeth and I also have a kind of girlfriend and I also messed up when we fought. And I didn't kiss her back that day, even though something was pulling at me to kiss her, I ignored it and stood still.

"…. Percy? Percy. Percy! PERCY!" Leo yelled in my ear.

"What the- Leo!" I said and rubbed my ear.

"Finally, some response. I've been trying to get you out of your head from the past twenty years." He said dramatically as he sat down next to me.

"What's going on, Percy?" Jason asked. "You got that face you use when your mom doesn't give you cookies."

"Maybe he FINALLY realized that he li-" Leo said smirking before the rest cut him off.

"LEO!" They yelled together.

"What?" Leo asked annoyed for being interrupted.

"Leo, what is it?" I asked. He made a sign like zipping his mouth and locking it and throwing the key somewhere.

"I swear, if you don't tell me, I'm going to upload that picture I took from when you-" Leo cut me off.

"Okay, okay! I was saying that maybe you finally realized thatyoulikedAnnabeth." He said the last part so fast I couldn't understand.

Realize what?

"That you liked Annabeth!" He said defeated and looked apologetically at the guys.

"Leooooo!" The guys complained.

"Was it that darn obvious?" I asked mostly to myself.

"Well, we all aren't as oblivious as you, bro." Jason replied.

"So…. Did you realize?" Frank asked.

"Maybe." I said and then they looked at me doubtfully. "Okay, yeah I did."

"Finally! I don't know how long we waited for this, maybe centuries!" Leo said. The guys agreed.

"What are you planning to do now then?" Nico asked quietly.

"I…. I don't know." I said defeatedly. Come on, brain. Now's a good time for giving me a great idea.

"When did you know anything, anyway?" Leo asked, laughing as we glared at him.
