The bright lights of the hospital room burned her eyes as she slowly regained her consciousness. She laid still for a while, feeling the pain of everything her body had endured. As she began to look around the room, her eyes caught a glimpse of some familiar blonde curls. It was Adam. He was sitting across the room, sleeping in the hospital chair. "Adam," she called quietly. The man stirred in his chair. "Adam," she called again. This time awoke the blonde. "Hey sleeping beauty," she teased, "feel like getting me some water? My throat is raw" she explained quietly.

Adam quickly jumped to his feet and called for a doctor. A flock of doctors and nurses entered the room and began asking questions and doing tests. After a few minutes of chaos, she was once again left with just Adam, who was holding a cup of water. He smiled at her. "Glad to see your eyes again" Adam explained calmly, "You scared the crap out of everyone." Kylee took the water from him and took a sip. "How long was I out?" she asked. Adam sighed as he ran his hands through his golden locks. "About a week," he said sheepishly. "Doc said you lost a lot of blood before they were able to stop it."

Kylee froze at Adam's explanation. Was she really out that long? Was she really that close to death again? She sighed as she began "Why did you come to my room that day?" He looked at her questioningly. "You called me and I heard you crying for help," Adam said plainly. "I didn't call you. He took my phone and threw it across the room before I could call for help" she explained. "Well I got a call from your phone. No one was on the line so maybe it was accidental, but it saved your life" Adam said.

Kylee reached her hand towards Adam's. "Thank you" she said simply. The two sat in silence as doctors and nurses came in and out of the room repeatedly throughout the day. Kylee had slept through most of the tests as much as she could. "Ky" Adam shook her gently to wake her. She stirred and slowly opened her eyes to see a friendly face covered in red hair. "Jon" she said sleepily. "Hey there beautiful" he said as he walked towards her. "I will be in the hallway if you need anything" Adam explained as he walked away.

"You gave me quite the scare there" Jon explained. "Thought that I lost you. I've barely slept since you were brought in" he continued as he grabbed her hand. "You were my last thought" she said quietly. "When I thought there was no hope of surviving. I saw your face." Tears began to stream down Jon's face. "Ky, I genuinely thought that I had lost you." "Can't rid of me that easily Mox," she smiled as she teased him by using his ring name. "Can you forgive me?" she questioned.

"For what?" Jon looked confused. "For choosing the wrong guy" she smiled sheepishly at him. Jon's face transitioned from confusion to something Kylee could not quite place. "Kylee. You do not need to apologize for anything. What you need to do is get better" Jon explained as he ran his hand across her face. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. He pulled back slowly before pausing and staring at Kylee for a moment. He leaned down and kissed her lips. She kissed him back as she felt tingles down her arms and legs. The two pulled apart slowly. "Once you are out of here, we can talk about what happens next" he smiled at her.

Jon had left letting Kylee rest. When she woke, he was gone, but someone else was there. She didn't recognize him at first, but she soon realized who it was. Adam Cole stood in her hospital room. While she had kept in contact with him, Kylee had not seen much of him since he signed his deal with NXT about 5 years ago. "Cole" she said sleepily. He turned around and smiled. "Hey, Kenny called me and told me what happened. Had to come check on you" he explained. She smiled. It had been her idea to bring Cole into the Elite back in Japan. She saw something in him that reminded her of Kenny. While the rest of the team was hesitant at first, it turned out to be a pretty great decision.

"Aren't you going to get in trouble?" she questioned. The Elite was far from being WWE's favorite wrestlers. Cole simply shook his head. He smiled as he spoke "I don't think that's going to be much of a problem anymore". Kylee was confused and Cole noticed. "I...uh…. Decided to not sign another contract with them. Honestly, was planning on talking to you and Kenny about possibly getting me a meeting with Kahn. Maybe I could finally come back to the Elite. Maybe we all could. You, me, and Page. Finally have the full team back" he scratched his neck as he spoke.

"About that…." she began. "The Bucks and Omega kinda don't talk to Page anymore. A falling out before I came back. And I am teaming with Moxley at the moment" she smiled sheepishly. Mox had always been a sore subject with her Elite team members. Cole just smiled. "Yeah I know about Mox. I've been watching your matches" he laughed as he spoke. "Well I would still like to get that meeting. I am far from done wrestling. But the WWE is not where I want to be anymore" he explained.

"I'm sure Tony would be happy to speak with you. And I would certainly like to have you back in the ring on the right side of this revolution" she smiled. Doctors entered the room and asked Adam to leave so they could check on Kylee. By the time the doctors were done, visiting hours were over and Kylee was exhausted.
