Okay. We are in chapter 34. Woah. I never would've thought I'd write these many chapters.

Anyhoo, let's get on with the chapter.

Here we goo!

Recap-

I walked up the stairs, hoping he might be up somewhere. I knocked on the bathroom and opened it, it was empty. Hmm.

I opened some more doors and suddenly heard a noise from the guest room. I slowly walked over there and opened the door slowly. I peeked in.

There was Luke and-

The heck is happening?

Percy:

Luke and a girl I have never seen before were kissing on the bed. His shirt was off and so was the girl's, who is not Annabeth. That girl isn't Annabeth. Which meant that Luke was cheating on her. How could he do that? How could he even do that to someone so precious?

"You bastard!" I yelled from the doorway. They both stopped and looked towards the doorway where I was standing.

"How could you?" I asked as I rushed towards him in blind rage. I pulled him off the girl and slammed him onto the wall. He didn't even show a hint of remorse or even guilt.

He had the damn audacity to smile.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked him and slammed him against the wall, again.

"Come on, man. I just wanted to have some fun." He said, he was clearly drunk. How did he even manage to get alcohol?

"Fun? FUN? I'll show you fun!" I said and punched him repeatedly in his face. I knew it. I knew something was wrong with him. I knew that he was too good to be true. But I never would've guessed he's be cheating on Annabeth.

"Percy, stop, he's drunk! Stop! Calm down!" I heard Jason's voice yelling and suddenly there were arms around mine and I was pulled back from the bastard. All the guys were here. This wasn't how mom's birthday was supposed to go.

"Do you know what he did? He was cheating on Annabeth!" I said, struggling in their arms. I won't stop till I kill him. He would hurt Annabeth if she was here-

That's when I noticed her. Annabeth and the girls standing at the door. No. She shouldn't see this.

"Annabeth! Someone get her out of here!" I yelled. "Annabeth, please go. You don't have to see this." I pleaded.

But she stood there, with tears streaming down her face as she looked from Luke to the girl.

"Piper, please take Annabeth out of here." I said, trying to get out of Jason's and Frank's arms but they wouldn't let me go.

She slowly walked over to Luke, looked him in the eye and punched him in the eye and ran out of the room. I smiled proudly.

That's my girl.

Annabeth:

The party was still going on inside. I was outside on the porch sitting on the stairs. I couldn't believe it. My hand was stinging, evidence that I've definitely punched him.

It wasn't supposed to go like this. It was too good to be true.

The minute after I was heartbroken with Percy, Luke snooped in like a superhero. Maybe that was what made me fall for his lies. I needed something so desperately that it happened like that.

I heard the front door open and close again. I stared into the distance. It was starting to get cold. I shuddered.

"Hey." Percy said, sitting beside me, leaving a considerate amount of space between us. But right now I wanted nothing but him to wrap his arms around me and pat my hair. Like the he used to when I was upset as kids.

"Hi." I said, looking at the flickering lights that the neighbors put up as early Christmas decoration. He let out a long breath. His knuckles were turning red after all the punching he did.

"Let's go." He said, standing up and walking in front of me. He put his hand out for me to take. I looked up at him. He just nodded and I put my hand in his and stood up.

I was surprised at how our hands fit perfectly. As if they were molded for each other.

We walked out of the street and into the bustling traffic of Manhattan's roads. Even at night, New York was up.

Percy's warm hand was still clutching onto me as he pulled me along. He gestured for a taxi and a yellow car appeared in front of us.

"The Empire State Building, please." Percy said, handing the driver a hundred dollars bill. The driver zipped us through the roads.

I looked at Percy in question, he smiled and held onto my hand. It was comforting. Here with him.

I would do this forever if I could.
