Story Start!

"Weird."

Naruto wasn't usually one to take a real long bath, that both Rito and Mikan knew... though sometimes he could fall asleep in the bath. That was pretty normal for one of them to walk into the bathroom, expecting it to be empty, only to see him slumped over the side of the tub off in dream land.

"You think he fell asleep?" Rito asked as he finished eating the dinner that he had to reheat a previous night's dinner since somebody had eaten his for him. Mikan had finished her homework, and was lazily laying across the couch while watching TV.

It was a pretty usual thing.

"Maybe... I'll give it another five minutes before I go check." Mikan knew that when he fell asleep, the second he started to drown he always woke up. He had an amazing knack for not dying when it came down to the stupid things he did. "Once I finish my popsicle." Mikan felt that once she wasn't feeling as lazy, that would be a good time for her to go and check on him.

"... So... guess who got-"

"A girlfriend, yeah, already know. You screamed it out earlier." Mikan stopped him, and he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "... Good for you Rito, I hope things turn out well for you." Mikan stated with a graceful look back towards him. She nodded in his direction, knowing she would tease him later for this.

Rito blinked.

"... Wait, that is the wrong reaction from you... whenever girls chase Naruto, you drive them off like crazy." Rito was surprised that Mikan took it so well. Whenever girls came calling for Naruto, Mikan usually got angry with them and sent them on their way without ever telling Naruto about them.

Naruto was quite popular with girls, though he didn't have knowledge on that little fact for the most part. Mikan was very good at hiding his popularity from him, and calling the police on his stalkers.

"Those girls are shallow, mean spirited, and just want to use Naruto because he's strong, handsome, heroic, and an all around great person. Any bad girl who wants to make a name for herself in this area just needs to make Naruto her man, and boom... instant respect for 'taming' the Undefeated Maelstrom." Mikan gave a short growl underneath her breath. Very short, but it was very potent as she sat up.

Naruto had 3 types of girls that usually chased him.

1. Bad Girls, who wanted to use him because of his infamy amongst gangs, and the fame that came with his general name.
2. Shallow Girls, who liked his exotic looks and his more athletic body when compared to most guys his age, and even older.
3. Helpless Girls, who Naruto saved at one point or another when he was going out of his way to help people who needed it, girls who wanted him to keep saving them.

Mikan didn't approve of any of them.

"We-well... I'm sure that Sairenji-san will meet your approval."

"Rito, any girl who is willing to date you meets my approval. You're decent looking, and a nice guy, but you're super awkward, not very strong, and you're not all that brave. If a girl likes you, then it's most likely because she likes the kind of person you are... and you like this girl too. You're smarter than Naruto is, so I can trust that you won't let a girl take advantage of you." Mikan had little to worry about with Rito. He was a good guy, but he lacked the traits that made him prime material for women to chase after for less the decent reasons.

*Phone Ringing*

"It's kind of late for a phone call..." Rito got up and picked up the phone. "Yuuki household, Rito speaking." Rito introduced himself to the person on the other end.

"Ah, Rito-kun, I work with the local newspaper, and we wanted to do a story about the Yuuki household after the decent heroism that your brother Uzumaki Naruto showed."

Rito blinked.

"Oh... what did he do?" Rito didn't know what Naruto did this time, but him doing things that got him scolded by the police and their parents happened frequently enough that he wasn't surprised or anything.

Naruto's Fatal Flaw was related to this.

"He stopped a robbery by knocking out the criminal involved, this is the 5th crime this month that he's stopped. He's rather famous among local stores, and we figured that it would be interesting to do a story about him with the permission of him or your parents. It's best to do the story while it's still hot after all."

-In Naruto's Room-

"So this is..." Naruto looked at a small thing that Lala was holding between her cleavage.

He was dressed, after his raging erection had calmed itself down, and they got out of the tub and dried off, Naruto had changed into his pajamas and he had given Lala one of his shirts to wear to cover herself up enough that looking at her didn't get his erection a chance for a repeat performance.

Since he was Uzumaki, he had to appreciate that Lala had not only a spiral ahoge on her head, but that her inventions also had spirals on them.

"I'm Peke, an All-Purpose Costume Robot that Lala-sama designed! Lala-sama, what are you doing in the house of a idiotic-looking Earthling?" Pepe, the small little costume robot with a female voice, spoke as she pointed at Naruto.

...

"... Do I really look that stupid?" Naruto asked with a dumbfounded tone. This robot hadn't even known him for a minute, and she was already well aware of the fact he wasn't book smart.

Lala slapped Peke on the top of the head.

"I happen to really like talking to him, this is Naruto Uzumaki. He's really odd, but a really nice guy. He even washed and dried my hair for me when I appeared in his bath." Lala laughed a little at the way that this entire conversation was going. Naruto seemed less offended by being called stupid, and more surprised that Peke had figured it out quickly. "I don't think you're dumb Naruto, after all, we both like to pull pranks so you have to be pretty smart to get away with that!" Lala complimented Naruto.

His face visibly brightened up.

Naruto's face changed when he felt danger approaching, as Peke glowed and wrapped around Lala and transformed into her clothes. Clothes that were far more fitting for a cute alien girl than one of his shirts.

'I feel danger is approaching.' Naruto grabbed Lala by the wrist and forced her behind him, surprising the girl as she looked at him. "Lala, you stay behind me... I can feel something coming and very fast." Naruto stated to her as he took command over the situation at hand.

He made a promise.

Dream or not, he didn't break a promise that he made.

"What do you me-" Lala stopped talking when two grown men jumped through the wide open window that Peke had used to enter the room. They were bigger than herself or Naruto, and wearing black suits.

They had tails similar to her own.

...

"I told you to be careful about being followed." Lala was visibly annoyed, and the spirals on the costume she wore seemed concerns.

'Sorry... I didn't realize.'

"Lala-sama, you're a troublesome girl to find."

"I knew we should have tied her up until we left Earth's atmosphere."

"You'll take her back over my dead body. Lala, I promised to protect you, and you won't have to enter a loveless marraige while I'm around." Naruto gave a confident grin as he sized up his opponents.

His opponents size?

Bigger than him.

"A human can't defeat Deviluke warriors, it's physically impossible." Peke chimed in, while Lala just stared at Naruto with an unknown emotion in her eyes. Unsure of how to take his words, but she was sure of several things about her own feelings for his words at least. "Lala-sama, we should still take his distraction as the chance to get away." Peke whispered to Lala.

"He understands me..." Lala just muttered to herself.

"Earthling, stand aside. We have no reason to fight you, and don't want to hurt you." The larger of the two men spoke.

"Well, I made a promise and that's reason enough to stand in your way. Now, who said that Earthlings didn't have tricks up thier sleeves... I was going to hold this back, but I guess I should unleash my secret weapon." Naruto stated as he placed his hand in front of his face.

"Secret weapon?"

"Yes, the last hundred people who I've used this on drowned in fear and suffering, before I granted them a swift but painful end. With this one attack, neither of you will even blink before being subjected to hell." Naruto grinned as he raised his hand up.

This was a dream.

Everyone knew you could do whatever you wanted in dreams.

"Sir... he's confident... his eyes say he isn't lying. This boy has some kind of secret weapon that will destroy us." It would seem the less muscular man saw in Naruto's eyes an absolute confidence that shook him. He stepped back in shock when he realized that they were in over their heads.

Lala's eyes never left Naruto's back.

"He's bluffing... no Earthling..."

"10... 9... 8..." Naruto started to lower his raised hand, and took aim at the men, an unwavering faith in his eyes as he rose up his other hand. Both of them men stepped back a little, before they raised their fists up to defend themselves. "Oho... you want to try and defend yourself? Perfect, you will delay your deaths for another second. I want to see how long those defences hold... 7... 6..."

"Sir... he's not joking!"

"Hold your ground... hold-"

"5... 4..."

"Ho-hold your ground..." The man looked back into Naruto's eyes, and he could still only see the absolute faith that this boy had in what he was about to do. No lies, no hesitation, absolutely nothing in his eyes showed any deception.

This wasn't a bluff.

"SIR!?"

"3... 2..."

"RUN!" The man in charge between the two shouted as the two men saw that Naruto wasn't about to stop, and realized they were about to die. They turned tail and escaped as quickly as they had arrived, while Naruto raised his hand up in victory. "We'll report this to Zastin!" Was the shout that could be heard far away from the men.

Naruto stood in silence for a moment.

'Dream or not, that was a pretty intense situation.' Naruto thought to himself as he yawned a little. Dream or not, he was still feeling pretty tired for that matter. "Well, looks like they couldn't handle that little prank." Naruto chuckled to himself.

Lala blinked.

"Huh?" Lala whispered at first, since she had been waiting for Naruto to unleash some super destructive attack like the others.

She too had seen not even a single hint of doubt in his eyes.

"I was totally just messing with those guys, but they totally bought it hook line and sinker." Naruto giggled under his breath like a fox, his smile even making his scarred face resemble a fox.

Lala blinked again as her heart skipped a beat, it skipped a couple of beats when she realized that this insane man in front of her just managed to pull off such an amazing bluff that he scared off two of her father's best soildiers. Her jaw dropped when she realized that this guy kept his promise to protect her, and he did so by pulling a massive prank on the guards.

He pulled a prank to save her from a loveless marraige.

'... I think I want to marry this guy...' Lala might be jumping to conclusions, but she had met hundreds of other species who her father set her up on meetings with, but not a single one of them had ever made her heart skip a beat like that. Not a single one of them understood her desire for a love filled marraige like him. Even more than that, not a single one of her suitors was... like this guy in front of her.

"So, want to come to bed Lala?"

"Hu-huh?" Lala was taken from her stupor, her moment of self-realization done with.

Naruto grinned.

"I'm tired, and they won't be back for awhile. We don't have a spare room for you, but you can sleep in here with me. I promised to protect you, so you're free to stay here as long as you like." Naruto offered a hand to her, and she smiled happily and nodded her head.

To Naruto... this was a dream.

To Lala... this was a dream come true.
