Here's Season 2! With all new adventures and new heroes and new villains!

9. Fossil Frenzy

Hi, everyone! I'm back with another chapter of DC Superhero Girls and Aura Guardian! I know the next episode is supposed to be "The Green Room", but we decided to make it a special chapter involving fossil Pokémon and adding a bit of a reference of the episode to it! I hope you'll enjoy it nevertheless! And now, on with the story!

It is a lovely, sunny Saturday, and Ash was on his way to meet up with the girls at Sweet Justice and his friends, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup!

Ash: [inhales through his nose] [exhaled in a sigh] You know, girls! There's just something in the air today that makes you wanna sing!

Buttercup: Why do you think that?

Ash: Because sometimes you just gotta let your heart out and sing!

Buttercup: No way! It's not like we're on some Broadway musical show! Besides, I'm way too cool for that!

Treecko: TREECKO!

Ash: But even cool people can do Broadway! Just think of how many fans you'd have and the amount of cash you'd have for being famous!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Buttercup gave it some thought and she imagined herself swimming in a pool of cash!

Soon, they arrived at Sweet Justice, and with the girls were Serena, Dawn, Brock, Goh, and their Alola friends.

Ash: Hey, everyone!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Kara: Hey, li'l bro! Glad you make it!

Incineroar: CINE!

Ash: Thanks, sis! Hey, Zee Zee! Serena! Dawn!

Zee: Hi, Ashykins!

Serena: Glad you could join us!

Dawn: We've been waiting for you to come!

Ash: I figured! [notices one of the girls was missing] Hey! Where's Jessica?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Babs: Something came up and she and Hal were sent to space for certain reasons!

Kara: And what's worse is she could lose her ring!

Ash: Lose her ring?! Oh no! I should've gone with her earlier for support and to help her reason with the Lanterns!

Dawn: No need to worry, Ash! Hal is with her being her Peer Advocate!

Gladion: [groans] [facepalms]

Blossom: Something wrong, Gladion?

Gladion: I don't even know why Hal decided to go with her! He's impossible and he's a wind bag!

Jessica: [walks in] Hey, everyone!

Ash: Jess! You're back already? Why didn't you call me and told me something was up?

Pikachu: PIKA!

Jessica: It was alright! I had my report to prove my innocence, but it was Hal who really saved my hide!

Ash: Wait! Hal saved your hide?! But he's an impossible wind bag!

Jessica: I know! But hey! Sometimes you can rely on the most impossible people!

Ash: But what about your ring?

Jessica: [shows them her ring] Right here!

Ash: [relieved] Oh thank Arceus! I'm glad you get to keep your ring! You had me worried!

Pikachu: [relieved] PIKA PI!

Jessica: Well, you can thank Hal for saving my hide!

Ash: Right! Any who, let's get our dessert on! I'm buying!

Blossom: Yeah!

Kiawe: You sure you wanna buy, Ash?

Ash: Sure! I'm okay with buying!

Zee: [as she hugs Ash] And we don't mind at all, honey buns!

Serena: You're such a gentleman, sweetie! [kisses his cheek] Mwah!

Ash: [blushes] [giggles]

Soon, everyone was enjoying their desserts!

Blossom: Man, I can't enough of their ice cream! It's the best!

Incineroar: [eating cake] INCINEROAR!

Buttercup: [slurping on a milkshake] And their milkshakes are the bomb!

Zee's Sylveon: [eating a cupcake] SYLVEON!

Zee smiled at her partner.

Zee: Is it good, Sylveon?

Zee's Sylveon: [nods] SYLVE!

Zee: I'm glad!

Lillie: [comes over with a tray of malasadas] Here you are, Snowy! Pick your favorite!

Vulpix (Snowy): [sniffs each one] [decides] VUL!

Snowy took a bite out of the pink one!

Vulpix (Snowy): [happy] [wags her tail] VULPIX!

Lillie: Okay! The pink one it is!

Vulpix (Snowy): [happy] VULPIX!

Zee noticed her Ponyta hasn't touched its dessert yet.

Zee: Everything okay, Ponyta? You haven't touched your food!

Ponyta (Galarian): [hesitant neighing]

Zee: Don't worry, Ponyta! Try it! It's absolutely divine!

Ponyta (Galarian): [hesitantly takes a bite]

Then, its eyes instantly lit up from the sweetness!

Ponyta (Galarian): [neighing happily]

Lana: It likes it!

Primarina: PRIMA!

Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE!

Zee: [strokes Ponyta's mane] I told you!

Sophocles was enjoying his ice cream a lot!

Sophocles: Next to Kiawe's Family Farm's Moomoo Milk Ice Cream, this ice cream is the best!

Togedemaru: [eating ice cream] TOGE!

Babs: Easy, Sophocles! If you keep eating like that, you'll get a brain freeze!

Sophocles: [getting a brain freeze] GUH! Too late!

Togedemaru: [having a brain freeze] TOGEDE!

Ash: [giggles] By the way, have you guys noticed that there's something in the air today that kinda makes you wanna sing?

Zee: Whaddya mean, hun?

Ash: Well...

Then...

Ducklett (multiple): [waddling passed Sweet Justice] [singing] DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT!

Ash: Kinda like that!

Karen: What kind of Pokémon are they?

Ash: They're a flock of Ducklett! And I think they're in the mood to sing! There's just something in the air that makes you wanna sing your heart out! And I think it's the same way with Pokémon!

Ducklett (multiple): [waddling] [singing] DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT!

Goh's Rotom Phone: Ducklett, the Water Bird Pokémon. A Water and Flying type. They are better at swimming than flying, and they happily eat their favorite food, peat moss, as they dive underwater.

Goh: Seems those Ducklett are enjoying themselves with singing!

Ducklett (multiple): [waddling] [singing] DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCKLETT!

Goh: [takes out a PokéBall] PokéBall, go! [tosses the PokéBall]

The PokéBall hit the Ducklett that was at the back of the group and it got sucked into it! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Goh's Rotom Phone: Ducklett has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Alright! One singing Ducklett acquired!

Ash: Good for you, Goh!

Pikachu: [eating ice cream] PIKACHU!

Charizard: [eating ice cream] RWAR!

Greninja: [eating ice cream] GREN!

Lycanroc: [eating ice cream] ROC!

Lucario: [eating ice cream] MRAH!

Growlithe: [eating ice cream] GROWL!

Ash: [eating ice cream] Man, this is awesome!

Serena: I know! [takes a bite of her ice cream]

Zee then took a scoop of her ice cream and turned to Ash with a flirtatious smile.

Zee: Ashykins! Say 'ah'!

Ash: Ah!

And she fed Ash her ice cream!

Ash: [giggles] Thanks!

Zee: [as she nuzzles noses with him] You're welcome Ashykins! You know! I would never know what I'd do without you as my boyfriend!

Ash: Same could be said with me, Zee Zee!

Buttercup: [to Kara] Why do I feel like there's a song coming on?

[Song: Together Forever!]

[Zee]

Who's my boyfriend?

[musical bit as people made music by clapping spoons, drumming on the tables and a squeaking sound while cleaning the windows occured! Even the Pokémon were making music by scatting]

Ash and Zee: [laugh]

Zee: I guess you were right about there being something in the air that makes you wanna sing!

Ash: [chuckles] I guess so!

Then...

? (Yamper): YAMPER!

The group looked and saw a certain Puppy Pokémon!

Yamper: YAMP YAMP!

Ash: [gasps] It's a Yamper!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Zee: Yamper? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Zee's Rotom Phone: Yamper, the Puppy Pokémon. An Electric type. This Pokémon is very popular as a herding dog in the Galar region. As it runs, it generates electricity from the base of its tail.

Zee: Interesting! It is kinda cute!

Babs: Kinda?! It's adorable!

Then, Babs started cuddling it!

Yamper: [defensive] YAMP YAMPER!

Babs: [coos] You are just the cutest little smooshy-wooshy baby I've ever seen!

That was when Yamper had enough and...

Yamper: [Spark move] YAM...PER!

Babs: [electrocuted] GUUUUUUUUUH!

When the electricity ceased, Babs felt burnt crispy as Yamper slipped out of her grasp!

Goh: [sweat drops] Uh, you good, Babs?

Babs: Fizzie but fine!

Ash: Hold on! I think I recognize that Yamper!

Goh: So do I!

Pikachu: [runs over to Yamper] [happy] PIKA!

Yamper: [happy] YAMP YAMPER! [licks Pikachu] YAMPER YAMPER!

Pikachu: [laughing] PIKACHU!

Diana: It certainly seems to get along with Pikachu!

Then...

? (Chloe): Yamper!

Yamper: YAMP?

? (Chloe): Yamper! Where are you?

Yamper then went over to its presumed trainer!

Yamper: YAMPER!

Chloe: Oh! There you are, Yamper!

Eevee: EEVEE!

Yamper: YAMPER YAMP!

Ash, Goh, and Dawn: Chloe?!

Chloe: Huh? Hey! It's Ash, Goh and Dawn! No wonder why you ran off like that!

Ash: [as they went over to her] Good to see you!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Chloe: You too! It's been forever!

Goh: What are you doing here?

Chloe: Well, my dad got wind that you two and Dawn were here in Metropolis! So, I took the first flight here and well, Yamper managed to lead me to you! And Dawn too!

Ash: [gasps excitedly] That's awesome!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Dawn: We're just glad to see you again! And by the way, you just missed a great musical number!

Chloe: Huh?

Goh: Well, according to Ash, there's something in the air that makes you wanna sing your heart out!

Zee: Ashy dearest, care to introduce us?

Ash: Oh yeah! Everyone! This is Chloe! She's a friend of ours! Chloe, these are my Metropolis friends and our Alola friends! This is Babs, Jessica, Kara, Karen, Zee, Diana, Mallow, Lana, Lillie, Kiawe, Sophocles and Gladion! And this is Brock, Serena, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Chloe: Hi there! It's so nice to meet you all!

Jessica: Likewise!

Diana: [as she goes over to her and holds out her hand] It is our pleasure to welcome you to Metropolis!

Chloe: Oh! [shakes her hand] Thank you, Diana!

Eevee: EEVEE!

Zee: Oh! An Eevee!

Eevee: EEVEE!

Chloe: Yeah! It happens to be my Eevee!

Eevee: [goes over to Zee] [greeting] EEVEE!

Zee: [kneels down and pets Eevee] Hello there!

Zee's Sylveon: [greeting] VEON!

Eevee: [excited] EEVEE!

Chloe: Wow! A Sylveon! And one that's well dressed! Is it yours, Zee?

Zee: Indeed it is, my dear! I had it since it was an Eevee just like yours!

Chloe: I can see that! And I like the outfit it's wearing! It's dressed like you!

Zee: Why thank you! [flips her hair] That's because me and my dear Sylveon are absolutely fabulous!

Zee's Sylveon: [flips a feeler] [being fabulous] SYLVEON!

Eevee: VEE! [copying Sylveon] EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: VEON?

Zee: [giggles] It would seem Eevee's trying to be like you, Sylveon!

Chloe: Yeah! Eevee tends to copy others!

Zee: I see! Oh! Hold on! [digs in her bag] I may have something in here that might take up Eevee's liking! [finds it] Aha! [pulls out an Eevee-sized dress] Here it is! This used to belong to my Sylveon before she evolved! And I think it would be perfect for you! Let's see! [puts the outfit in Eevee] And voila! A perfect fit! Whaddya think, Eevee? Do you like it?

Eevee: [happily gasps] VEE! [jumping up and down] EEVEE! EEVEE!

Zee: I'm glad!

Eevee: [asking Chloe how it looks] EEVEE?

Chloe: You look amazing, Eevee! But are you sure it's okay for Eevee to wear it?

Zee: Of course, dear! Why, your Eevee can have it!

Chloe: Really?!

Zee: Mmhmm!

Chloe: Wow! Thank you so much, Zee!

Eevee: [thanking] EEVEE VEE!

Zee: Oh, you're very welcome, my dear! After all, any friend of my Ashykins is a friend of mine!

Chloe: Your Ashykins? [to Ash] Is she talking about you, Ash?

Ash: Yeah! You see, Zee's my girlfriend!

Chloe: Huh?! Girlfriend?!

Serena: So are me and Dawn!

Chloe: Huh?! But... Dawn is... How... I mean...

Ash: It's a long story! Trust me!

Zee: [hugs Ash] And we couldn't be happier than to be with our Ashykins! [kisses his cheek] Mwah!

Ash: Aww, Zee!

Dawn: Same here! [kisses his forehead] Mwah!

Serena: And me too! [kisses his other cheek] Mwah! [boops his nose]

Ash: [blushes] [giggles]

Chloe: Aww! You do look pretty cute together!

Ash: Yep!

Mallow: Eevee looks so cute in that little outfit!

Tsareena: TSAREENA!

Eevee: [happy] EEVEE! [asking Sylveon how it looks] EEVEE?

Zee's Sylveon: [saying it looks fabulous] SYLVEON!

Eevee: [happy] VEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [being fabulous] SYLVE!

Eevee: [copying Sylveon] EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [being fabulous] VEON!

Ash: Looks like they're friends already!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Zee: How sweet! They're just like sisters!

Chloe giggled at this and then she noticed Serena's Sylveon.

Chloe: Wow! You have a Sylveon too, Serena!

Serena: I sure do! I caught it as an Eevee, and it used to be really shy!

Serena's Sylveon: SYLVEON!

Chloe: It doesn't seem shy now!

Serena's Sylveon: [extends a feeler to Chloe] SYLVEON!

Chloe: Oh! [shakes feeler] Nice to meet you!

Serena's Sylveon: [smiles] VEON!

Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE!

Chloe: Wow! Another Eevee! And one with a nice hairstyle!

Lana: Yep! That's my Sandy!

Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE!

Chloe: Sandy? Why is it called Sandy?

Lana: It loves the ocean like I do!

Eevee (Sandy): [nods] EEVEE VEE!

Chloe: I see!

Then, she saw Zee's Ponyta!

Chloe: Wow! A Galarian Ponyta!

Ponyta (Galarian): [neighs]

Chloe: Wow! That brings me back memories!

Zee: You mean you met one before?

Chloe: Yep! And its evolved form too! I met them at the Glimwood Triangle! Eevee and I rode on them too! And it was amazing!

Eevee: [agreeing] EEVEE!

Jessica: So, Yamper must be your other Pokémon, right?

Chloe: No! It belongs to my dad! It's just affectionate with me and listens to my commands!

Yamper: YAMP YAMP!

Jessica: I see! Oh! [pulls out a dog treat] Here, Yamper! Here's a tasty doggy treat for you!

Yamper: [excited gasp] YAMPER! [takes the treat] [eats it] YAMP! [happy] YAMP! YAMPER!

Jessica: I'm glad you like it!

Yamper: [jumps onto her lap] [licks her face] YAMP! YAMP! YAMPER!

Jessica: [laughs] Come on! Cut it out! That tickles!

Chloe: Wow! Yamper really likes you, Jessica!

Ash: Well, Jessica does help out at the Animal Shelter!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Chloe: It's also kind of surprising since it gets defensive around strangers!

Ash: That's because Jessica has quite a big heart when it comes to Pokémon!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Kara: I guess Yamper shocked Babs here because it doesn't trust her!

Ash: More of it doesn't like to be smothered that much!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Ash: Anyway, Chloe! Wanna see something really cool?

Chloe: Uh, sure!

Ash: Great! But you have to swear to secrecy!

Chloe: Okay?

Ash: Great!

Piplup: [wants to do it] PIPLUP!

Dawn: Go for it, Piplup!

Piplup: [happy] PIPLUP! [pulls the lever] PIP!

And they all fell through the floor!

Chloe: WAAAAAAAAH!

Ash: Well, here it is! Whaddya think?

Chloe: What is this place?

Ash: Our secret base!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Chloe: Secret base?!

Ash: Yep! And, excluding Goh, Dawn, Serena and Brock, we're the heroes that protect the city of Metropolis! Let's show her, ladies! Transform!

Then, a bright light flashed making Chloe, Yamper and Eevee cover their eyes!

Chloe: [gasps]

When the light ceased, there stood Ash and his gal pals in hero form!

Chloe: [gasps] You're super heroes?!

Aura Guardian: Yep! And an introduction is an order! Girls!

Batgirl: Batgirl!

Green Lantern (Jessica): Green Lantern!

Supergirl: Supergirl!

Bumblebee: Bumblebee!

Zatanna: Zatanna!

Wonder Woman: Wonder Woman!

Powerpuff Girls Z: Bubbles, Buttercup and Blossom! Powerpuff Girls Z!

Aura Guardian: And Aura Guardian!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Chloe: Incredible!

Chloe's Eevee: [amazed] EEVEE!

Yamper: [amazed] YAMPER!

Ash: [as they transformed back] Yep! That's why for your own safety, we'd appreciate it if you kept it a secret!

Chloe: Don't worry! Your secret's safe with me!

Ash: Awesome!

That's when Chloe noticed the Pokémon Eggs.

Chloe: Wow! Pokémon Eggs!

Ash: Yep! Those three belong to Kara, Jessica, and Karen! Zee, Diana, and Babs' eggs already hatched!

Chloe: Wow!

Noibat: [lands on her head] NOIBAT!

Chloe: Wow! A Noibat!

Noibat: NOIBAT! [flies over to Babs]

Babs: Yep! This one's mine!

Torchic: [comes up beside Diana] TORCHIC!

Chloe: Wow! And a Torchic!

Diana: Indeed! One of my most noble Pokémon!

Ralts (Airalin): [next to Zee] RALTS!

Chloe: Ooh! And a Ralts!

Zee: Mmhmm! This is my little Airalin!

Chloe: Airalin? Why is it named Airalin?

Ash: She named it out of charisma!

Chloe: Oh!

Mallow: Airalin! Someone's here to see you!

Tsareena: [greeting] TSAREENA!

Ralts (Airalin): [happy] RAL! [walks over and hugs Tsareena] RALTS RALTS!

Tsareena: TSAREENA!

Tsareena then picked up Airalin!

Tsareena: [cuddles Airalin] TSAREENA!

Ralts (Airalin): [happy] RAL!

Chloe: Aww! That's really sweet!

Mallow: I know! Tsareena's like a big sister to Airalin!

Chloe: I can see that!

Rotom Dex: Hello, everyone!

Chloe: Is that a Rotom Pokédex?!

Ash: Yep! Chloe, this is Rotom Dex! Rotom, this is our friend, Chloe!

Rotom Dex: It's a pleasure!

Chloe: Likewise!

Mewtwo: [telepathic] Greetings, everyone!

Chloe: HUH?! M-M-M-M-M-Mewtwo?!

Mewtwo: [telepathic] In person!

Chloe: [stammers] But...how...but it's...that's a... HUH?!

Ash: Long story!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Ash: And I happened to catch it!

Chloe: YOU...CAUGHT...MEWTWO?!

Ash: It's true!

Chloe: I have so many questions right now!

Ash: [giggles] I'm sure you do! Anyway, Chloe! Since you're in Metropolis, how'd you like to join our hero team?

Chloe: Really?! Are you sure?

Ash: Sure as sure can be!

Chloe: But what if I'm not good enough to help alongside supers? And who will help me with my hair in the morning?! And...and...

Jessica: [going over her and calms her down] Chloe! Chloe! Relax! Look, I know it might be scary! And trust me, you'll be a great hero to fight alongside with! [as music kicks in] All you gotta do is take the first step! Listen to me for a minute!

[Jessica]

Chloe, get your chin up.

Babs: So, whaddya say?! You wanna join?!

Chloe: After that encouraging song, I say yes!

Diana: Very well then!

Grookey: [riding on Eevee's back] GROOKEY GROOKEY!

Chloe's Eevee: [complaining] EEVEE! [trying to shake Grookey off] VEE!

Goh: Grookey, no! Not again!

Diana: [as she grabs a hold of Grookey] Cease and desist, young Grookey!

Grookey: GROOKEY!

Later on, everyone was hanging out in the base! They were watching a Pokémon Base game that was broadcasted live in the Alola Region!

Karen: What exactly are we watching?

Sophocles: It's Pokémon Base! It's ball game that's played in the Alola Region!

Togedemaru: TOGEDEMARU!

Kara: Oh! So, it's kinda like baseball?

Lillie: Exactly!

Vulpix (Snowy): VUL!

Kiawe: [with fire burning in his eyes] And this game still makes the flames my body and soul burn with a fiery passion!

Turtonator: TURTONATOR!

Marowak (Alolan): MAROWAK!

Some of the Pokémon were playing!

Pikachu: [playing] PIKA!

Chloe's Eevee: [playing] EEVEE!

Eevee (Sandy): [playing] EEVEE!

Grookey: [playing] GROOKEY!

Chimchar: [playing] CHIMCHAR!

Squirtle: [playing] SQUIRTLE!

Zee's Sylveon was currently admiring itself in the mirror!

Zee's Sylveon: VEON!

Then, she thought of an idea and brought Chloe's Eevee over to it!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE?

Zee's Sylveon: [saying "if you be like me, you gotta act like me"] SYLVEON SYLVEON, SYLVE SYLVEON!

Chloe's Eevee: [happy] EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [posing] [acting fabulous] VEON!

Chloe's Eevee: [posing] [acting fabulous] EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [posing] [acting fabulous] SYLVEON!

Chloe's Eevee: [posing] [acting fabulous] EEVEE VEE!

Zee and Chloe saw this and smiled.

Zee: It would seem my Sylveon is teaching your Eevee the ways of being fabulous!

Chloe: Aww! That is pretty cute!

Zee: I'd say so!

Zee's Sylveon: [winks and makes a kissy face at the mirror] SYLVEON!

Chloe: Aww! That's kinda cute!

Chloe's Eevee: [tilts its head in confusion] EEVEE?

Zee: I guess your Eevee doesn't understand my Sylveon's love for Lycanroc!

Chloe: I guess so!

Zee: Oh well! Never mind! Anyway, Chloe dear! Why don't you tell me about yourself!

Chloe: Well, my dad is a Pokémon Professor and my mom is a magazine artist! And everyone at my school back in Vermillion City thinks that I would want to follow in my dad's footsteps and become a Pokémon Professor just like him! But honestly, I wanna become my someone! I wanna choose my own path!

Yamper: YAMP YAMPER!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Zee: Well, I'm sure you'll find your passion someday, Chloe! And who knows, maybe you'll find your special talent to prove your friends wrong!

Chloe: [smiles] You're right! Thanks, Zee!

Karen: Hold on! By Professor, you mean Professor Cerise?!

Chloe: Um, yeah?

Karen: No way! He's your dad?!

Chloe: Uh, yeah! He is!

Goh: [gasps] You know about Professor Cerise, Karen?!

Cinderace: CINDER?!

Karen: Of course! I've been watching online videos about him and his research on Pokémon a few days ago! [as she pulled out a notebook] And I've been taking notes on it too! Learning about all different kinds of Pokémon in their natural habitat and what makes them unique! He's been an inspiration for me!

Ribombee: RIBOMBOM!

Goh: I see!

Chloe: So, Zee! What do you like to do?

Zee: Well, I usually perform magic!

Chloe: [gasps] You can do magic?!

Zee: Of course! When it comes to magic, I'm number one! What about you, Chloe? Anything exciting happen to you while trying to discover your path?

Chloe: Well, lately I've been observing Eevee's evolutions! See, my Eevee isn't like any other Eevee! It's having trouble deciding what to evolve into! And sometimes, I've seen Eevee use moves like Spark, Heal Pulse, Hydro Pump and Bubble Beam after seeing some of the Pokémon I met use them! I didn't even know if those were moves that it learned or what!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Rotom Dex: It would seem your Eevee knows the move Copycat!

Chloe: Copycat?

Kara: Say what now?

Rotom Dex: Copycat! A Normal type move! When its opponent uses a certain move, the user copies what it has seen to unleash the same attack!

Diana: Fascinating!

Chloe: Huh. And all this time I thought Eevee was using multiple attacks when it was only using one move to cause it all!

Chloe's Eevee: VEE!

Chloe: [picks up Eevee] You really are something, aren't you, Eevee?

Chloe's Eevee: [smiles] [wags its tail] EEVEE!

Zee then snuggled up against Ash!

Zee: Your Eevee isn't the only one!

Ash: [giggles as he wraps an arm around Zee]

That was when the news came on!

Kara: Hey! What gives?!

News Woman: This just in! A Fossil Pokémon exhibit has just opened up just outside of Metropolis! There, people can meet all kinds of Ancient Pokémon, dig for Pokémon Fossils and see a special exhibit of what's known as a giant Shieldon!

Babs: [gasps deeply]

Ash: Did you hear that, Goh?!

Goh: I sure did! This could be our opportunity to see the giant we never saw like last time!

Lillie: Imagine all the Fossil Pokémon that are there!

Rotom Dex: There will be lots of data for me to add to my database!

Babs: [excited] This may be my chance to get myself my own Fossil Pokémon!

Karen: Me too!

Kara: I already have Aerodactyl, so I guess another Fossil Pokémon wouldn't hurt!

Jessica: I can give those Fossil Pokémon a new home! A Fossil Pokémon Sanctuary!

Ash: [excited] Diana, can we go?!

Pikachu: PIKACHU?

Diana: I say yes! Let us go and meet these Fossil Pokémon!

Ash: Then let's...

Everyone: Go!

Soon, they were at the Fossil Pokémon exhibit!

Babs: [eyes sparkling] Wow! This is going to awesome!

Blossom: I know!

Ash: By the way, me and Goh brought some Fossil Pokémon of our own!

Jessica: You did?

Kara: I didn't know you caught a Fossil Pokémon? Which ones are they?

Ash: We'll show you! [tosses PokéBall] Come on out!

Dracovish: [appearing] DRACOVISH!

Goh: [tosses PokéBall] You come out, too!

Arctozolt: [appearing] ARCTOZOLT!

Babs: [eyes sparkle] Wow!

Ash: Everyone! We'd like for you to meet Dracovish and Arctozolt! They're hybrid Fossil Pokémon from Galar!

Then, Dracovish did a love bite to Ash and had Ash's head in its mouth!

Dracovish: [happy] DRACOVISH!

Ash: [muffled struggling]

Kara: [snickering]

Rotom Dex: Incredible! [takes pictures]

Babs: [as she and Karen pull out their Rotom Phones] Let's see what our Rotoms have to say about them!

Babs' Rotom Phone: Dracovish, the Fossil Pokémon. A Water and Dragon type. Its mighty legs are capable of running at speeds exceeding 40 mph, but this Pokémon can't breathe unless it's underwater.

Babs: Ooh! Though it seems Dracovish is able to breathe fine on land!

Karen's Rotom Phone: Arctozolt, the Fossil Pokémon. An Electric and Ice type. The shaking of its freezing upper half is what generates its electricity. It has a hard time walking around.

Karen: That's pretty cool! But it's kinda strange how it's an Electric AND an Ice type!

Babs then went up to Dracovish, who still had Ash's head in its mouth!

Babs: Hi, Dracovish! Nice to meet you!

Dracovish: [releases Ash] DRA?

Babs: My name's Babs! And I must say, you fascinate me!

Dracovish: [happy] DRACO! [love bites Babs' with her head in its mouth]

Babs: [muffled] Oh! [struggling to get her head]

Ash: Whoa! Babs! [pulls in Babs' legs] Hold on! I gotcha! [grunted pulling] Dracovish, let go!

Dracovish: [releases Babs] DRA!

Ash and Babs: [flown backwards] Whoa! [hits the ground] OOF!

Ash and Babs landed on their backs on the ground with Babs laying on top of Ash!

Pikachu: PIKA?

Ash: Ouch! You okay, Babs?

Babs: Yeah! I'm good!

Ash: I'm glad!

Babs: [notices the position they're in] We're in quite the position, aren't we?

Ash: [blushes] Yeah! You mind getting off?

Babs: As much as I would want to stay like this, [leaps off, legs first] I wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea!

Karen then nervously approached Arctozolt!

Karen: Um... Hi, Arctozolt! Nice to meet you!

Then...

Arctozolt: [leans down and licks Karen's cheek] ARC!

Karen: Oh! [giggles]

Goh: Guess Arctozolt likes you already!

Then, in came three very unfriendly faces! Namely Damian, his girlfriend, Doris, and Leslie!

Damian: Well well well! If it ain't the loser squad with an additional loser added to the bunch!

Doris: Heh! Losers!

Leslie: And we've got two ugly Pokémon in the mix too!

Ash: [growls] Them!

Pikachu: [angry] PIKACHU!

Brock: [gasps] [angry] Damian!

Damian: Yeah! That's right!

Chloe: Who are they?

Ash: They're Damian, Doris, and Leslie! Troublemakers at school!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Damian: And proud of it!

Doris: So... [looks at Chloe] Who's the new chick?

Chloe: Chick?

Lana: I think she's talking about you!

Chloe: Oh! Uh... My name's Chloe!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Yamper: YAMPER!

Doris: Chloe, huh? How lame and pathetic!

Chloe: [angry] Excuse me?!

Damian: You heard my girl! Lame and pathetic! Now, we're gonna make this short! I'd best watch your back, "Chloe"! Because just like your friends, I'll make your life miserable!

That infuriated Yamper!

Yamper: [growls angrily] [barks defensively] YAMP YAMP YAMPER YAMP!

Doris: [growls angrier and more scary]

Yamper: [scared] YAMP! [hides behind Chloe] [whimpers]

Doris: Heh! Wimpy mutt!

Damian: Well, we'll leave this nerdy fossil stuff for the likes of you! Let's bounce, ladies!

And with that, the three bullies left!

Chloe: Good for nothing, bullies!

Kara: Yeah! They're the worst!

Then...

Carol: [sneaking up behind Ash and covers his eyes] Guess who?

Ash: [happily gasps] Carol!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Carol: Yep! Hi, Ashypoo!

Ash: Hey, Carol!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Carol: [hugs Ash] Oh, I'm happy to see you, Ashypoo!

Ash: [hugs her back] I'm happy to see you too!

Harleen: [sneaking up behind Ash] BOO!

Ash: Whoa!

Pikachu: [surprised] PIKA!

Harleen: [laughs] Hiya, Ashy Dashy!

Ash: Hey, Harleen!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Babs: Leenie Beanie!

Swoobat: SWOOBAT!

Harleen: Babsy Wabsy!

Ash: I guess that means Babs invited you, huh?

Harleen: You betcha!

Chloe: Um... Who are they?

Ash: Right! Chloe, this is another one of my girlfriends, Carol! And this Babs' best friend from Gotham City, Harleen!

Carol: Pleasure!

Harleen: Hi there! [hands Chloe a gift box] Here! A present for ya! It's a surprise!

Chloe: [takes it] Oh! Thank you!

But when Chloe opened it...

[BOOM!]

Chloe's face was covered in soot!

Chloe: [coughs]

Harleen: [laughs] Surprise!

Yamper: [barks] YAMP YAMPER!

Harleen: Aww! How cute!

She then picked up Yamper and cuddled it!

Ash: Wait, Harleen! Don't smother Yamper! It will...

But then...

Yamper: [Spark move] YAM...PER!

Harleen: [electrocuted] GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!

Then she released Yamper!

Harleen: [laughing]

Buttercup: Jeez! That girl's a little crazy!

Carol: EEEEE! CUTIE PIE!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Carol: [picks up Chloe's Eevee] You've gotta be the cutest little Pokémon I've ever seen!

Chloe's Eevee: [smiles] EEVEE!

Chloe: That's my Eevee!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Carol: You sure are cute!

Ash: By the way, Carol! What made you wanna come?

Carol: Well, I just happened to have seen the Pokémon Fossil exhibit on the news and I basically knew you'd be here! So, I thought I'd show up!

Ash: Aww! You came for me?

Carol: Yep!

Ash: [chuckles] Promise me you'll never change, Carol!

Carol: I don't plan to! [kisses his forehead]

Kabuto: [crawling along] KABUTO.

Kara: Hey, guys! Look at this!

Kabuto: KABU!

Goh: Whoa! A Kabuto!

Then...

Omanyte: OMANYTE!

Omastar: OMASTAR!

Kabutops: KABUTOPS!

Ash: And an Omanyte, Omastar and Kabutops!

Blossom: Rotom Dex! Give us the word!

Rotom Dex: Roger! Leave the Pokémon descriptions to me! Omanyte and Omastar, the Spiral Pokémon! Kabuto and Kabutops, the Shellfish Pokémon. All four are Rock and Water types! It is believed these Pokémon became extinct tens of thousands of years ago. The details of their behavior is shrouded in mystery. Though some have speculated that they may still exist, none of these Pokémon have ever been seen alive.

Babs and Harleen: [eyes sparkle] Wow!

Karen: Fascinating!

Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, and Omastar: [Water Gun move] KABU/OMA!

The three girls got sprayed with water from the four Fossil Pokémon's Water Gun!

Babs: [shakes the water out of her hair] Hey!

Harleen: They soaked us!

Goh: [tosses PokéBalls] PokéBalls, go!

However, only three of the Fossil Pokémon were sucked in and let off successful pings!

Goh's Rotom Phone: Kabuto, Omanyte, and Omastar have been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Wait! What about Kabutops?!

Kara: Throw another PokéBall!

Goh: Uh, right! [tosses PokéBall] PokéBall, go!

Kabutops: [slices it in half] KABUTOPS!

Goh: GAH! [as he tosses multiple PokéBalls] I'll catch you yet!

Kabutops: [knocking them away] KAB KAB KAB KAB KAB KAB KAB KAB!

Kara: Oh brother! Oh! Incineroar! I got an idea! [whispers]

Incineroar: [complying] ROAR! [sneaks up behind Kabutops] [Karate Chop move] CINEROAR!

The Karate Chop made contact on top of Kabutop's head!

Kabutops: [pained] TOPS!

Ash: That was Karate Chop!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Goh: Now's my chance! [tosses PokéBall] Go!

The PokéBall hit Kabutops, but...

Goh's Rotom Phone: It does not belong to you! Don't be a thief!

Goh: HUH?!

Ash: Then, it must belong to someone else! But who?

Tatsu: Kabutops!

Ash: Wait a minute! I know that voice!

Kabutops: [goes over to its trainer] KABUTOPS!

Tatsu: Kabutops! There you are! Now why did you wander off like that?

Ash: [happy] Tatsu!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!

Tatsu: Huh? [happy] Ash!

Ash and Tatsu then hugged each other!

Tatsu: How wondrous it is to see you, my love! [kisses Ash on the lips]

Ash: You too, Tatsu!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Tatsu: And why are there a bunch of PokéBalls on the ground and why does Kabutops have a lump on its head?

Then, the girls and three guys in the group in front of Ash and Tatsu moved to each side to reveal Goh and Kara, indicating that they were responsible for what happened!

Kara: Doh! You finks!

Goh: [chuckles nervously]

Tatsu: You two are responsible for this? But why?

Goh: Sorry! I thought your Kabutops was a wild Pokémon!

Kara: And I basically tried to help Goh catch it with Incineroar's Karate Chop!

Incineroar: [rubs its neck embarrassedly] CINEROAR!

Tatsu: Normally, I would be angry about such behavior! But, I will let you two off with a warning!

Goh: [nervous] R-Right!

Cinderace: [nervous] CINDERACE!

Ash: [chuckles] You're still the fiercest girl I know, Tatsu!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Tatsu: Indeed! Now, shall we explore the wondrous world of the Ancient Pokémon together?

Ash: Of course! Come on, everyone! Let's go find some Fossil Pokémon!

As everyone went inside...

Chloe: [to Tatsu] So, I take it you're another one of Ash's girlfriends?

Tatsu: Indeed I am!

Chloe: That's nice! I'm Chloe, by the way! And this is Eevee and Yamper!

Chloe's Eevee: [greeting] EEVEE!

Yamper: [greeting] YAMP YAMPER!

Tatsu: A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Chloe! I am Tatsu Yamashiro! But you can just call me Tatsu!

Chloe: [smiles] Okay, Tatsu! Nice to meet you!

Zee then hugged Ash's arm!

Zee: I wonder what Fossil Pokémon we'll meet here, Ashykins?

Ash: Who knows, Zee!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Goh: But first, let's go check out that giant Shieldon!

Cinderace: CINDERACE!

Ash: We don't wanna get unlucky like last time! Come on!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Soon, they were at the giant Shieldon exhibit!

Babs and Harleen: [eyes sparkle] WOWIE WOWIE WOW!

Kara: Now that's one ginormous Fossil Pokémon!

Incineroar: INCIN!

Carol: I never thought Fossil Pokémon could be this gigantic!

Zee: Me neither!

Karen: So much info to gather! Good thing I brought my camera!

Rotom Dex: And I have my own!

Soon, everyone was exploring the exhibit, looking at all kinds of Pokémon that were restored from fossils! They met Anorith and Armaldo, Lilleep and Cradily, Cranidos and Rampardos, Shieldon and Bastiodon, Archen and Archeops, Tirtouga and Caracosta, Amura and Auroarus, Tyrunt and Tyrantrum, and Dracozolt, Arctovish, and another Arctozolt and Dracovish!

Bubbles: This is amazing!

Blossom: Yeah! Who knew that Pokémon could be so fascinating! [notices a sign with an arrow above it] Eh, what's this? [reads] "Dig up your own Pokémon Fossil at our excavation center in our Fossil Pokémon Exhibit!"

Babs: [gasps deeply] Dig up your own Fossil Pokémon?!

Bubbles: That's what the sign says!

Buttercup: Well, let's go check it out!

Soon, they arrived at the excavation center!

Kara: Whoa! Check it out!

Lots of people were there digging up for fossils!

Ash: Come on! Let's get some mining tools and start digging for fossils!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Babs: Ooh! Just think, Harls! We're gonna dig up Fossil Pokémon!

Harleen: I know! This is gonna be fun!

Soon, they started digging!

Ash: Anyone find any fossils yet?

Dawn: Nothing yet!

Piplup: PIPLUP!

Diana: Fear not! We shall keep searching!

Kara: [notices Zee filing her nails] Aren't you going to help?

Zee: [while filing her nails] Sorry, but the dust and dirt would ruin my complexion!

Carol: [while looking into her compact mirror and powdering her face] Same for me! Besides, I just got a manicure and I wouldn't want to ruin these lovely nails!

Ash: [chuckles] You two sound like Clover!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Zee and Carol then turn to Ash with flirtatious smiles.

Yamper: [digging] YAMPER!

Lycanroc: [digging] LYCANROC!

Growlithe: [digging] GROWLITHE GROWL!

Chloe: By the way, Ash! When did you get a Growlithe?

Ash: Oh, I caught Growlithe while we were out on a mission!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Chloe: What kind of mission?

Ash: Well, let's just say we managed to stop a very snowy takeover caused by a villain named Professor Coldheart!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Honedge: [using its blade to dig] HONEDGE! HONE! HONEDGE!

Diana: Be cautious, Honedge! We do not wish to accidentally damage the fossil!

Machop: [telling Kara it's bored] MACHOP!

Kara: At least you're not the one using a pickaxe!

Serena: Kara, you have super strength!

Kara: But I can't use it while there are spectators around!

Ash: So, Tatsu! When did you get a Kabutops?

Tatsu: I caught it the other day in the wild! I didn't know where it came from, but I managed to catch it anyway!

Kabutops: KABU!

Ash: Awesome! Kabutops seems like the right choice for you!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Tatsu: Thank you, my love!

She then gave him a peck on the cheek.

Tatsu: You're always so kind to me!

Ash: [blushes] I try!

Tatsu: Now, let's keep searching for more fossils!

Ash: Yeah!

Sophocles: [groans] This is getting exhausting! We haven't found anything yet!

Togedemaru: [groans] TOGEDE!

Goh: Don't worry! I have just the thing that can help us out! [takes out a PokéBall and tosses it] Let's go, Golurk!

Golurk: [appearing] GOLURK!

The group, minus Ash, was amazed at the size of the Pokémon they're looking at!

Kara: Whoahoho! That guy's huge!

Diana: Rotom Dex! Analysis, please!

Rotom Dex: But of course! Golurk, the Automaton Pokémon. A Ground and Ghost type. It is said that ancient peoples created Golurk for heavy manual labor. It is completely loyal to its master's orders. But this Golurk is at least three times the size of a normal one!

Jessica: Why is it so huge?

Ash: It was the guardian of an underground temple in Unova!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Diana: Incredible!

Goh: Golurk, search the rocks and see if you can find anything!

Golurk: [salutes] GOLURK!

Golurk started to search through the rocks, as Goh brought out another PokéBall.

Goh: [tosses PokéBall] Let's go!

Goh's Aerodactyl: [appearing] AERO!

Kara: So that's your Aerodactyl! Neat!

Then she thought of an idea and took out a PokéBall of her own!

Kara: [tosses PokéBall] Come on out, Aerodactyl!

Kara's Aerodactyl: [appearing] AERO!

Kara: Look, buddy! You've got a new friend over there!

Kara's Aerodactyl: AERO?

Goh's Aerodactyl: DACTYL!

Kara's Aerodactyl: [excited] AERODACTYL!

Then they both took to the skies together!

Ash: Well, whaddya know! They're friends already!

Goh: Yep! I'd say so!

Then, Goh hit something hard!

Goh: Huh?

Mallow: Did you find something, Goh?

Goh: I think so!

Zee: What could it be?

When he pulled it out, it revealed to be a Pokémon Fossil!

Lana: You found one!

Goh: I guess I did!

Kara: [groans] Big lucky!

Ash: What kind is it this time, Goh?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Goh: It looks like a Root Fossil!

Jessica: A Root Fossil?

Rotom Dex: The Root Fossil is said to be the fossil of the ancient Pokémon known as Lileep! Lileep, the Sea Lily Pokémon. A Rock and Grass type! Lileep is believed to affix itself to stones on the ocean floor, and uses its petal-like tentacles to catch prey.

Kara: [scoffs] Kinda weird!

Jessica: Sounds kinda interesting if you ask me!

Babs: Aww, man! I wanted me and Leenie Beanie to find one!

Ash: Cheer up, Babs! I'm sure you and Harleen will find one eventually!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Harleen: He's right, Babbly Boo! Let's-a keep lookin'!

Babs: You're right! [to Ace Jr.] Alright, boy! Can you give us a hand?

Lycanroc (Ace Jr.): [salutes] ROC!

Harleen: [tosses PokéBall] You too!

Mightyena: [appearing] MIGHTYENA!

Karen: EEP! [hides behind Ash]

Ash: Looks like Poochyena evolved!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Harleen: Sure did!

Then she started cuddling Mightyena!

Harleen: And he's still as sweet as ever!

Mightyena: [happy] MIGHTYENA MIGHT!

Harleen: Alrighty, boy! Let's use Dig!

Mightyena: [Dig move] MIGHT!

Buttercup: [notices Zee powdering her face] Aren't you going to help?

Zee: [while powdering her face] Like I said, the dust and dirt would ruin my complexion!

Zee then turned to Ash with a flirtatious smile.

Zee: And I know my Ashykins wouldn't want to see my complexion ruined!

Ash: [chuckles] Yeah! You are one of the most beautiful girls there is!

Zee: [giggles]

Carol had decided to get out her pompoms and do her cheerleading routine for Ash.

Carol: Ashy Ash! He's my man! If he can't dig 'em, no one can!

Chloe: Uh...

Ash: Carol's the head cheerleader at school! [to Carol] [smiles] And you always do an awesome job!

Carol: Thanks, Ashypoo!

Mightyena: [found something] MIGHTY! MIGHTYENA!

Harleen: What is it, boy? Find something?

Mightyena: [nods affirmative] MIGHTYENA!

Harleen: Let's see what you found!

They dug it up, and it seemed to resemble a feather!

Harleen: What kind of fossil is this?

Lillie: You found a Plume Fossil!

Vulpix (Snowy): VUL!

Harleen: A what fossil?

Ash: Rotom!

Rotom Dex: The Plume Fossil is a kind of fossil that regenerated into Archen!

Kara: Archen?

Rotom Dex: Archen, the First Bird Pokémon! A Rock and Flying type! Archen is said to be the ancestor of bird Pokémon. It lived in treetops, eating berries and bug Pokémon. Though, Archen is unable to fly. But it's very good at jumping.

Harleen: Aww! Ain't it a cutie?

Kara: Cute?!

Buttercup: Yeah! Who would want a bird Pokémon that can't fly?!

Treecko: TREECKO!

Rotom Dex: That's where the best part comes to play! Sooner or later, it will evolve into Archeops and it will gain the ability to fly!

Harleen: Ooh!

Babs: That's pretty cool, Leenie Beanie!

Swoobat: SWOOBAT!

Goh: Come on, Harleen! Let's go get these revived!

Harleen: Sorry, Gohsy Wohsy! But I'm staying until Babsy gets one of her own!

Goh: Oh!

Kiawe: And I can't find a single one!

Kara: [groans] Me neither!

Jessica: [to Gladion] What about you, Gladion?

Gladion: Not much luck with me either! But I'm not complaining!

Suddenly, Diana's shovel hit something hard!

Diana: Friends! I think I have found my first fossil!

Ash: [gasps]

Lana: [notices Babs sulking] Everything okay, Babs?

But when she did, the pickaxe broke after three hits!

Kara: [gasps] Whoa! Just like that rock showed! [as she picks up the rock] This rock can see things before they happen! Wow!

Kara: It's some kind of rock that shows the future!

Zee: Hmm. I've heard of these! Yes, I remember now! The one that unearths the stone, and that one only, can foresee visions of the future!

Zee: Well, I suppose it's harmless enough in your hands! As long as you don't accidentally crush it!

So, whenever she gets angry and wants attention, she squeezes the tail on her cat, Sapphire, and she transforms herself into a crazy lunatic that tries to get attention from everyone to get them to like her!

Bubbles: But we always manage to stop her crazy shenanigans even if it happens at nighttime!

Buttercup: Yep! Believe it or not, she took a liking to Ash!

Ash: Great! Come on, you guys! Let's solve this fossil caper!

Soon, everyone was investigating the crime scene!

Then, everyone started looking for clues! However, they couldn't find a single clue to help solve this case!

Ash: Hmmm. Maybe we have! [points to the corner of the ceiling] Look!

Ash: A security camera! Maybe we can catch a glimpse of the culprit from the footage on the security camera!

She managed to see who the culprit was with her X-Ray vision!

Kara: It looks like some weird robot wearing a cape, a monocle, and a top hat!

Zee: A cape, a monocle and a top hat?

Lana: What kind of thief wears those kind of things?

Eevee (Sandy): [tilts its head in confusion] EEVEE?

Carol: Uh, only one with a lousy taste in fashion! Duh!

Tatsu: But since only Kara could see the thief, that must mean this evildoer must be invisible somehow!

Ash: Hmmmm. [snaps his fingers] I got it! [as he pulls out his Rotom Phone and dials Jerry's number] This will be where WOOHP technology comes to play with three crafty spies!

Meanwhile, at WOOHP HQ, Jerry was busy filing paperwork when his wallet phone started ringing!

Jerry: [answers it] WOOHP Headquarters! Jerry speaking!

Ash: Hey, Jerry! It's Ash!

Jerry: Ah, Ash! What can I do for you, my friend?

Ash: Some strange robotic thief has stolen fossils from the fossil exhibit!

Babs: And me, Karen, and Diana's fossils were stolen too! [whimpers]

Ash: And the worse part is, he's invisible! Do you have any kind of gadget that can make someone see something that's invisible?

The head of WOOHP HQ pondered for a moment, then he snapped his fingers.

Jerry: I've got just the thing!

Ash: Great! And I'm gonna need you to send in Sam, Alex and Clover too! If anyone's crafty with spy skills, it's them!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Jerry: I'll get right on it! [hangs up] Time for a WOOHP-ing! [presses a button]

Chloe gave it some thought and then she decided!

Thieftron: Who knows! But it could be worth something! [pulls out a sack of fossils] And I brought you more fossils!

Scrozzle: Excellent work!

Thieftron: What exactly do you plan to do with them all?

Scrozzle: Using these fossils, I'm going to use them to create an army of hybrid fossil cyborgs! Soon, once I conquer this world, Evox shall be avenged! [laughs maniacally]

Aura Guardian: Bombs away!

[explosion]

Scrozzle: Oh no! The Rangers found me!

Soon, all the heroes entered the warehouse!

The move made contact to the invisible robot and then, Thieftron reappeared!

Aura Guardian: And now, to kill two birds with one stone! We'll take you both down [as he pulls out an Invincible Star] by going invincible! Everyone, take hold of the Invincible Star!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

And everyone did just that!

Sailor Venus: Now what?

Then, they became invincible as the colors in their clothes started swapping back and forth!

Sailor Mini Moon: Ooh! Pretty!

Aura Guardian: Come on! Let's get 'em! Our invincibility won't last long!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

And everyone started charging towards the bots!

Scrozzle: Uh oh! You can have the fossils! This hasn't been the last you've seen of me! [teleports away]

Aura Guardian: Ha! Serves him right! That's what happens when you mess with the heroes!

Suddenly, the swapping colors on their uniforms disappeared!

Thieftron: Too bad for you! You didn't get to use your invincibility!

Batgirl: No! Scrozzle escaping distracted us!

Thieftron: Catch me if you can! [takes to the skies] [laughs]

Thieftron: [flying] [laughing]

Scrozzle: I'll admit, they busted Tronics and a Robotron like Rangers usually do! But unlike them, these kids WON'T survive a Gigadrone! [laughs maniacally] [presses a button]

Chloe/Eevee Girl: Look! The stolen fossils!

Aura Guardian: Let's grab them and bring them back to the Fossil Exhibit before anything else happens!

Aura Guardian: Huh?

Katana: [takes his hand] Let us do it together!

Katana: That is when you are mistaken! [reveals a Dynamax Band on her wrist]

Aura Guardian: [gasps] That sounds like Leon!

Katana (voiceover): Ahem! Anyway, he had a Charizard with him! And so, like anyone would do!

The attacks hit Thiefdrone hard!

Both attacks did more damage, but the Gigadrone started firing lasers from its one eye!

Aura Guardian: Now, for the grand finale! Pikachu, G-Max Volt Crash!

Soon, she flew off to the scrapyard and came back with a handsome amount of money.

However, Star Sapphire didn't seem to care about the money. She was fangirling over Ash!

Wobbuffet: WOBBU!

Bumblebee: [scared] Oh no! Not again!

Jessie: [making a heart with her hands] Here comes...

Then, Mimikyu leapt into the air and extended its cloth and it was going to cover the entire group!

Then, it grabbed the frozen Team Rocket and Stufful climbed onto Bewear's tail! Then, it started leaving as it leapt over the buildings!

Supergirl: What just happened?!

Aura Guardian: Don't worry about it! This happened before!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Then, he took the Dark Energem out of the "book" he was holding.

The next day, Ash and his friends were back at the fossil exhibit, and Karen, Diana, and Babs' fossils were being restored!

Museum director: Your fossils are just about finished going through restoration!

Rotom Dex: Shieldon, the Shield Pokémon. A Rock and Steel type. The skin on its face is very hard, and it has a habit of polishing it by rubbing against trees.

Mallow: Babs, your fossil is next!

And the last fossil was...

Tyrunt: TYRUNT!

Zee: [gasps] Is that a baby T-Rex?!

Chloe's Eevee then started to think about itself copying Anorith!

Then, Eevee jumped onto Chloe's head and began resting on her head too!

Tyrunt and Marowak (Alolan): [angry] WAK/RUNT?! [whacks Pikachu]

That launched Pikachu into the air!

Pikachu: [sent flying] [swirls in eyes] PIKA!

Ash: [gasps] Pikachu!

Zee: Don't worry, Pikachu! I gotcha! [catches Pikachu] Gotcha!

Pikachu: [smiles] [thanking] PIKA PI! [groans] [rubs its forehead] PIKA PIKA.

Zee: Oh, there there, Pikachu! I'll make it all better for you! [kisses its forehead] Mwah!

Pikachu: [blushes] [coos] CHA!

Zee smiled sweetly at that, but then she and Carol turned to Marowak and Tyrunt with angry looks.

Zee: You two! You oughta be ashamed of yourselves!

Carol: Yeah! Why would you send poor little Pikachu flying like that?!

Tyrunt: TYRUNT TYRUNT RUNT!

Bubbles: Tyrunt's saying Marowak started it!

Marowak (Alolan): WAK?! [turns to Tyrunt angrily] MAROWAK!

Carol: That's enough!

Marowak (Alolan) and Tyrunt: MARO?/TY?

Carol: Now, I want both of you to apologize to each other! Right now!

Zee: Go on!

Marowak (Alolan) and Tyrunt: [apologizes to each other] MAROWAK!/TYRUNT!

Zee: Good!

Carol: Now, apologize to Pikachu!

Zee: Go on!

Marowak (Alolan) and Tyrunt: [apologizes to Pikachu] MAROWAK!/TYRUNT!

Pikachu: [forgiving] PIKA!

Diana: [to Kiawe] I still don't see why Marowak must pick fights like that!

Kiawe: Marowak is a very tough Pokémon! Sometimes it likes to try and battle the first Pokémon it sees!

Kara: I kinda like that! It's pretty headstrong!

Marowak (Alolan): [proud] MARO!

Babs: Wow, Tyrunt! Not only are you super cute, you're super strong as well!

Tyrunt: [smiles] TYRUNT?

Babs: Of course! And I could use a strong guy like you on my team! Whaddya say?

Tyrunt: [determined] [stomping on the ground] TYRUNT TY!

Babs: [pulls out a PokéBall] Okay then! [taps it onto Tyrunt]

Tyrunt was then sucked into the PokéBall! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Babs' Rotom Phone: Tyrunt has been registered to your Pokédex!

Babs: EEEEE! I just caught my first Fossil Pokémon!

Harleen: Yay, Babsy!

Ash: Way to go, Babs!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKACHU!

Babs: Thanks, you guys! [hugs Harleen] Isn't this great, Harls?! We each have our own Fossil Pokémon!

Harleen: It sure is, Bably Boo! It's the best day ever! By the way, I wanna give everyone some presents!

Ash: [gasps] [eyes sparkle] Gifts for us?!

Harleen: Yep! I got everyone souvenirs from the gift shop!

Gladion: You did?

Harleen: Yep! [shows the souvenirs] Check it out! Little plastic figurines of all the Fossil Pokémon! I even some plushies too! One for each of yas!

Ash: So cool! Thanks, Harleen! You're the best!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Harleen: Aren't I always! Oh! [pulls out three gift boxes] [to Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup] And these other gifts are for you three! [snickers] It's a surprise! And I want the three of you to open them at the same time!

Bubble: Ooh! Okay!

Blossom: That sounds like fun!

Buttercup: What the heck! Sure!

But when they opened them at the same time...

[BOOM!]

That left them covered in soot spots!

Harleen: [laughs] Surprise!

Buttercup: [shakes off the soot] [angry, red vein] [growls] Why you little...!

Harleen: [giggles mischievously and runs off]

Buttercup: [runs after her with anime-style running] Get back here, Quinzel!

Everyone: [laughing]

Ash: Some things never change!

Unknown to our heroes, Scrozzle was spying on Ash!

Scrozzle: [talks into a communicator] Boss, I found out something about that Ketchum character! He cares about his friends, especially his girlfriends! In other words, he has a big heart!

Lord Arcanon: A big heart! Of course! I know how to get that Ketchum to join the dark side! I'll get him through his heart! I will send him an 'Ashley'!

Scrozzle: Yes, Master! But what is an "Ashley"?

Lord Arcanon: Ketchum's downfall! [takes out a magical lump of clay] This magical lump of tan clay will become the first female human being to bring Ketchum straight to me! Scrozzle! Return to your lab! I'm sending you over the clay and the ingredients to use! Set a small cauldron on in your lab!

Scrozzle: Right away, Master! [teleports away]

Later on, Ash and his friends were hanging out in the park and chatting with one another, while their Pokémon played.

Ash: Isn't this nice?

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Zee: It sure is, Ashykins! It sure is!

Serena: I'll say!

Zee then hugs Ash and presses her cheek against his cheek.

Zee: And things couldn't get any better!

Serena: [hugs Ash] Agreed!

Dawn: [wraps her arms around Ash's neck] I'll say!

Ash: [giggles]

Chloe's Eevee was dressed as Zee's Sylveon again and was with the said Pokémon.

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [smiles] SYLVE! [being fabulous] VEON!

Chloe's Eevee: [copying Zee's Sylveon] [being fabulous] EEVEE!

Zee's Sylveon: [being fabulous] SYLVEON!

Chloe's Eevee: [being fabulous] EEVEE!

Zee: That is just the sweetest thing! My Sylveon and your Eevee are just like sisters!

Chloe: Yep! I guess so!

Serena: That's so cute!

Serena's Sylveon: SYLVEON!

Zee's Sylveon then went over to Ash's Lycanroc.

Zee's Sylveon: [nuzzles against Lycanroc] [affectionate] VEON!

Ash's Lycanroc: [blushes] [smiles sheepishly] ROC!

Ash: [giggles]

Then, Chloe's Eevee went over to Growlithe!

Chloe's Eevee: [nuzzles against Growlithe] [affectionate] EEVEE VEE!

Growlithe: [surprised] [blushing] GROWLITHE!

Zee: Uh oh! Looks like Growlithe has a not-so-secret admirer!

Mallow: Aww! How cute!

Tsareena: TSAREENA!

Lillie: Growlithe did save Eevee from Team Rocket's Seviper yesterday!

Vulpix (Snowy): VUL!

Chloe: That is true!

Zee's Sylveon: [kisses Lycanroc on the cheek] [winks] SYLVEON!

Lycanroc: [blushes] LYCANROC!

Chloe's Eevee: [kisses Growlithe on the cheek] [winks] VEE!

Growlithe: [blushes] GROWL!

Zee and Chloe: Aww!

Chloe: That's really sweet, Eevee!

Chloe's Eevee: [happy] EEVEE!

Babs: I still can't believe me, Karen, and Diana got Fossil Pokémon!

Ash: Better believe it, Babs! Besides, the Pokémon world is full of great mystery and wonder!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Babs: I know! And there's a lot more to discover!

Lillie: And we'll do it together!

Diana: Indeed!

Shieldon: [nuzzles against her] SHIELDON!

Diana: [giggles]

Gladion: It seems Shieldon has grown rather fond of you, Diana.

Silvally: VALLY!

Diana: It would seem so!

She then takes Shieldon into her arms.

Diana: From now on, Shieldon! You and I will be great companions! And I promise to take good care of you!

Shieldon: [happy] [nuzzles against her] SHIELDON SHIELD!

Diana: [cuddles it] Who's my little tough guy? It is you!

Shieldon: [happy] SHIELD!

Pikachu: [senses something as its ears perk up] PIKA!

Kabutops: [uses Hydro Pump on Diana] KABUTOPS!

Diana: Uh oh!

Shieldon: [protecting Diana] SHIELDON! [Iron Defense move] SHIEL...DON!

Ash: That was Iron Defense!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Bubbles: Shieldon just protected Diana!

Goh: [takes out a PokéBall] Now, PokéBall! [tosses PokéBall in a curve ball] Go!

Kabutops: KABUTOPS? [as the PokéBall hit it in the back of the head] TOPS!

Then, it got sucked into the PokéBall! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Goh's Rotom Phone: Kabutops has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: [in tears of excitement] That's awesome! That means I've caught all five Fossil Pokémon from Kanto!

Diana: Many congratulations, young Goh!

Goh: Thanks, Diana!

Zee then noticed Ash thinking.

Zee: Something on your mind, Ashykins?

Carol: [hugs him] Our sweetie isn't upset, is he?

Ash: [smiles] I'm alright, girls! I can't help but wonder what happened to Scrozzle?

Zee: Well, he did say that we haven't seen the last of him! We just don't know what he plans to do next!

Diana: Fear not! If he ever decides to return, we shall be ready for him!

Ash: Yeah! You're right! And we'll take him on together!

Pikachu: [determined] [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Goh: [to Chloe] By the way, Chloe! Are you gonna be staying in Metropolis?

Chloe: Yeah! Although, I'm not sure what to do about school back in Kanto!

Chloe's Eevee: EEVEE!

Yamper: YAMPER!

Chloe: [pulls out her own Rotom Phone] Let me see if I could give my mom and dad a call!

Then, she dialed her dad's number and soon he answered!

Professor Cerise: Hello?

Chloe: Hey, dad! It's me!

Professor Cerise: Oh! Hello, Chloe! How's Metropolis?

Chloe: It's great, dad! Listen, I know this is a bit sudden, but I was thinking of wanting to stay in Metropolis with my new friends! I just wasn't sure what to do about school and what you would think about that! That's why I called!

Professor Cerise: I think I might have a solution!

Chloe: Really?! What is it?

Professor Cerise: I can see about transferring schools for you! That way you won't have to worry about school back home! I'll contact the school here and I'll get the contact for Metropolis High and we can make arrangements!

Chloe: Really?! This won't be permanent, right?

Professor Cerise: That depends! If you like it, we'll make it official! And if you don't like it, then we'll see to it to get you a flying taxi!

Chloe: Wow! That's awesome! Thanks so much, dad!

Professor Cerise: No problem, Chloe! Just promise me you'll be safe! Okay?

Chloe: I will! Thanks, dad!

Professor Cerise: My pleasure! Call me sometime tomorrow after your first day at Metropolis High School so I can hear what you thought of it! Okay?

Chloe: Okay! And I'll take good care of Yamper while it's with me! Bye, dad!

Then she hung up!

Ash: Well, what did he say?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Chloe: He said that I can stay! And he's planning to have me transfer schools! My trial run will be tomorrow and if I like, it'll be official! And if I don't, he'll arrange for a flying taxi!

Ash: That's awesome! But where exactly will you live?

Chloe: Huh. Never thought of that!

Jessica: If you want, you can always stay with me! I'm sure my moms won't mind!

Chloe: Really, Jessica? Are you sure?

Jessica: Of course! Plus, Goh happens to be living with me as well!

Chloe: Really?

Goh: Yep! It's true!

Cinderace: CINDERACE!

Chloe: Well, I guess I could give staying with you a try! Thanks so much, Jessica!

Jessica: Hey! That's what friends are for!

Babs: [happy] This is awesome! We got brand new Pokémon, we took down a new villain, and we have a new teammate! EEEEE!

Ash and Goh: [raise their fists] Yeah!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!

Cinderace: [happy] CINDERACE!

Grookey: [jumps onto Eevee's back and rides on it] GROOKEY!

Eevee: [uncomfortable] EEVEE! [tries shaking Grookey off]

Chloe: Hey!

Goh: Grookey, no! Not again!

Ash: [laughs]

Pikachu: [laughs]

Everyone: [laughing]
