It was splendid day in Metropolis! And Ash was with Misty, Sam, Alex and Clover! They were on their way to get some malasadas from the park and then they're going to go to a new spa place that opened up in town!
Ash: What an awesome day!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Misty: Yeah! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, [inhales] [sighs] and the air feels fresh!
Psyduck: [inhales] PSY!
Clover: This day's gonna get even better once we got that new spa place in town!
Alex: Yeah!
Ash: You sure guys are allowed?
Sam: Yeah! Men and women are allowed to be there! They even have a relaxing spot for Pokémon!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!
Misty: Well, I always wanted to try having a relaxing mud bath!
That's when they ran into Lana!
Ash: Hey, Lana!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Lana: Oh! Hey, guys! Where are you all off to?
Ash: We're gonna get some malasadas and then go to the new spa that opened!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lana: I had just finished up with some fishing! Do you think I could join you?
Ash: Of course! The more the merrier!
Lana: Great!
Misty: [as they were walking along] So, Lana! What did you catch today?
Lana: I caught a couple of Magikarp, a couple of Feebas, a Pyukumuku, a Cloyster, a male and female Frillish, an Alomamola, two kinds of Basculin and a Carvanha!
Ash: [eyes sparkle] Wow!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alex: [eyes sparkle] That's so cool!
Lana: You think that's cool! I even caught a Mega Gyarados!
Ash and Misty: [eyes sparkle] A MEGA GYARADOS?!
Sam: You actually...
Clover: Caught a...
Alex: [eyes sparkle] Mega Gyarados?!
Lana: [as she lightly bonks her head] Kidding! [sticks out her tongue] Nyah!
Ash and Misty: [fall awkwardly] GUH!
Ash: [sweat drops] Of course!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA!
Alex: [pouts] Phooey!
Clover: You keep up those lies, Lana, and no one's gonna believe you!
Suddenly, the six of them were vacuumed into a phone booth!
Ash, Misty, Lana and Spy Girls: WHOA!
Soon, they were in Jerry's office, along with Tony, Megan, Marc, Lee, and Brittney!
Ash: [groans] As much as I missed that, a little warning would be nice!
Pikachu: [groans] PIKA PI!
Sam: Seriously, Jerry?! We were just about to get some malasadas and get our spa day on!
Jerry: Apologies! But that will have to be put on hold! Giganta is on a rampage!
Ash: Giganta?! Let's get 'er!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
Jerry: Not so fast, Ash! Aren't you forgetting something?
Ash: Oh right! Aura up!
Then, he transformed into Aura Guardian! Meanwhile, Giganta was on a rampage in Metropolis!
[thudding]
Giganta: Look who's here to tear this city up!
[girl screams]
Giganta: [lifts a bus] [yells]
That's when Batgirl came in swinging on her rope!
Batgirl: Sorry, Giganta, but you're busted!
Supergirl: [flies and grabs the bus] Yoink!
Giganta: [exclaims]
Aura Guardian: [flies in, imitating fanfare] [punches Giganta square in the face with an Aura Punch]
Giganta: OOF!
Aura Guardian: Pikachu, use Electroweb!
Pikachu: [Electroweb move] PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA...CHU-PIKA!
The Electroweb trapped Giganta!
Aura Guardian: Looks like we snagged a whopper!
Giganta: [breaks free] Think again, runt!
Aura Guardian: [gasps]
Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!
Misty: [pulls out a PokéBall] Staryu! Come out, my steady! [tosses PokéBall]
Staryu: [appearing] HYAH!
Batgirl: Ooh! [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
Babs' Rotom Phone: Staryu, the Star Shape Pokémon. A Water type. Large numbers of these Pokémon make their home at the seaside. At night, a strange red glow radiates from the center of their bodies.
Misty: And now, [pulls out another PokéBall] Another Pokémon I haven't used in forever! [tosses PokéBall] Come out, my steady!
Starmie: [appearing] HAH!
Aura Guardian: Starmie too?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Batgirl: Ooh! [points her Rotom Phone at Starmie]
Babs' Rotom Phone: Starmie, the Mysterious Pokémon. A Water and Psychic type, and the evolved form of Staryu. Starmie's center section-the core-glows brightly in seven colors. Because of its luminous nature, this Pokémon has been given the nickname after the gem of the sea.
Batgirl: Nice!
Misty: Now, Staryu and Starmie! Use Water Gun!
Staryu and Starmie: [Water Gun move] HYAH/HAH!
Giganta was sprayed with water!
Batgirl: [raises her cape] Swoobat, Brave Bat!
Misty: Brave Bat?
Swoobat: [Brave "Bat" move] SWOO...BAT!
Giganta: UGH!
Misty: Oh! Brave Bat is really Brave Bird! I get it now!
Aura Guardian: Lucario, use Aura Sphere!
Lucario: [Aura Sphere move] MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAH!
Giganta: UGH!
Supergirl: [pulls out a PokéBall] Alright, Machop! Time to rock and roll [tosses PokéBall]!
Machop: [appearing strongly] MACHOP!
Supergirl: Use Rock Smash!
Machop: [Rock Smash move] MA...CHOP!
Giganta: GUH!
Batgirl: [tosses PokéBall] Scizor, use Metal Claw!
Scizor [appearing] SCIZOR! [Metal Claw move] SCI...ZOR!
Giganta: UGH! [growls angrily]
Aura Guardian: Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Misty: Starmie, you use Thunderbolt too!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Starmie: [Thunderbolt move] HAH!
Giganta: [electrocuted] GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
Batgirl: [eyes sparkle] Wow! I didn't know Starmie can learn Thunderbolt!
Alex and Marc: [eyes sparkle] So cool!
Lana: Primarina, use Sparkling Aria!
Primarina: [Sparkling Aria move] PRI...MARINA!
Giganta: [gargling]
Batgirl: Time to put you on ice! [tosses PokéBall] Empoleon, Ice Beam!
Empoleon: [appearing] EMPOLEON! [Ice Beam move] EM...POLE!
Giganta was frozen solid!
Aura Guardian: Now, to finish this! [creates an Aura Blade] Aura Prism Slash!
The Aura Prism Slash broke Giganta out of the ice and defeated her, just as Batgirl tied her rope around Giganta and threw it over a lamp post, as Supergirl yanked it, pulling Giganta towards it and hanging her upside down!
Tony: [laughs] Our catch of the day! One big meatheaded whopper!
Supergirl: World's Finest, up high! [she and Batgirl high five]
Aura Guardian: [jokingly] Aren't you forgetting someone, girls?
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Supergirl: Oh, right! And thanks for your help, guys!
Batgirl: [while looking at Staryu and Starmie] Wow! I can't believe you have an evolution pair!
Aura Guardian: That's my Misty! An expert in Water types!
Misty: Oh, Ashy! You're making me blush!
Which she was!
Aura Guardian: [smiles] I think it's a good look for you!
Misty: Oh, Ash!
She then kissed him on the cheek.
Aura Guardian: [giggles]
Pikachu: PIKA!
Batgirl: [to her Pokémon] Excellent work as always, Team Bat!
Swoobat: [happy] SWOOBAT!
Scizor: [proud] SCIZOR SCIZ!
Empoleon: [proud] EMPOLEON!
Supergirl: [lifting Machop onto her shoulder] You were awesome too, Machop!
Machop: [proud] MACHOP! [flexes] CHOP!
Supergirl: Yeah!
Clover: Now, I'm really in the need for a spa day!
Lana: [strokes Primarina] Great work, Primarina!
Primarina: [happy] MARINA!
Batgirl: And now to check on those sure-to-be-grateful bus riders.
Aura Guardian: I'm sure they are grateful that we came to the rescue!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
But when the bus doors opened up, the bus was surprisingly empty!
[wind blowing]
Supergirl: And it's empty.
Clover: You mean we missed a bit of our spa day for an empty bus?!
Aura Guardian: That's not true, Clover! We still stopped Giganta from reeking havoc!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Batgirl: He's right, we're still heroes. We saved this city millions in damages.
Clover: I guess! But I could've been relaxing at the spa in one of those mud baths and gotten a massage from a handsome masseuse!
Machop: [calling her a "drama queen"] MACHOP!
Clover: Hey! I am NOT a drama queen!
Supergirl: [snickers] Machop is right, ya know!
Clover: [red vein] [face burning bright red] [growls]
Scizor: [next to Misty] [saying "they argue like children!"] SCIZ SCIZ SCIZOR!
But Misty said nothing because she was hiding behind Ash!
Batgirl: Come on, Misty! My Scizor isn't gonna hurt you! It only beats up criminals!
Misty: [trembling] Bugs will always bug me!
[keypad clacking]
Batgirl: Jimmy Olsen!
Supergirl: Did you see us clobber Giganta just now?!
Machop: [flexing] MACHOP!
Supergirl: Yeah! Check out my Machop!
Aura Guardian: Those two! Though, did you see us stop Giganta?
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Jimmy Olsen: Who? Uh, no, sorry.
Aura: Aw, nuts and chews! Oh well!
Batgirl: Well, how about a photo of the two heroes, the golden hero, the two Pokémon Trainers, the eight spies, and the city bus they just saved?
Jimmy Olsen: Uh, you mean take a picture of an empty bus? I'm good. Thanks! [runs off]
Misty: Aww, man!
Batgirl: Jimmy Olsen's probably not the type to get excited by superheroes, anyway.
Aura Guardian: Yeah! He must be too focused on important things for Lois to notice anyway!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
[cell phone chimes]
Jimmy Olsen: [exclaims] Superman and Batman are fighting?! [runs off] I gotta see this!
Aura Guardian: Batman and Superman are fighting?! That can't be good! We better stop them!
Lana: Right! Let's go!
Soon, they arrived at the park!
[crowd cheering]
Man: Superman! Whoo-hoo! Yeah!
[thumping]
Turns out, the "fight" Superman and Batman were having was a video game match.
Man: Look at them go!
[crowd cheering]
Boy: You're the best, Batman!
Girl: Superman, we love you!
Little girl: This is more exciting than Christmas!
[whooping]
Batgirl: Look at these people. They're going nuts for this!
Aura Guardian: I honestly thought they were going to try and kill each other!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Brittney: That would honestly be terrifying!
Boy: Whoa! Check it out! Their Pokémon are having a battle!
Aura Guardian: Their Pokémon?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Supergirl: HOW DOES SUPERMAN HAVE HIS OWN POKÉMON?!
Crobat: [Air Slash move] CROBAT!
Aura Guardian: There's Batman's Crobat!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Batgirl: Ooh! But who's it battling?
Superman's Charizard: [Flamethrower move] RWAR!
Alex: It's a Charizard!
Sam: [pulls out her com-powder] Let's see! [as a 3-D hologram of Charizard appeared] Ah! Here we go! Charizard, the Flame Pokémon. A Fire and Flying type. When competing in intense battles, Charizard's flame becomes more intense as well.
Aura Guardian: When did Superman get a Charizard?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Supergirl: He's totally copying me!
Aura Guardian: Whaddya mean, sis?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Supergirl: Because I have Incineroar, he's gotta have a Fire type too!
Incineroar: CINE!
Clover: Ugh! He is so just like Mandy!
Jimmy Olsen: Oh, wow. I can't believe it. Real superheroes in action!
Man: Yeah, Superman!
Batgirl: But we actually did something heroic today.
Aura Guardian: Yeah! All they're doing is playing a video game!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Jimmy Olsen: All I saw was an empty bus. [takes pictures with his camera]
Aura Guardian: [getting a little irritated] [growls] [inhales, sighs] Never mind them! Let's just get outta here while the getting's good! They just don't appreciate true heroes!
Supergirl: [to Batgirl] We are definitely doing something wrong.
Max Lord: I'll say. But your problems can be solved with two little letters. PR.
Lana: PR?
Primarina: MARINA?
Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE?
Tony: Who're you?
Max Lord: You've got to ask yourself, "Self, how am I separating myself from the 50 other costume clowns out there?" Hmm? Ask it.
Supergirl: Actually, I'd rather ask myself, "Who is this dork, and why am I not punching him out of my way?"
Machop: [cracking its knuckles] MACH MACHOP!
Max Lord: [laughs] I love it. You're aggressive. Now, believe it or not, public figures who are seen as aggressive trend well. In fact, people like jerks. Max Lord! [laughs] And to answer your question, the reason you're not punching me in the face right now at this very moment… [takes out a card] [whispers] You need me.
Batgirl: [takes the card and reads it] "Max Lord, Public Relations?" [laughs sarcastically] PR? Now I get it!
Max Lord: [wraps an arm around her] And you're bubbly. Bubbly sells!
Aura Guardian: That's because it's her personality! And honestly, you seem suspicious!
Pikachu: [suspicious] PIKA PIKA!
Max Lord: Oh relax, [takes off Ash's fedora and ruffles his hair] tiger! No need to be suspicious of me! [puts Ash's fedora back on him] [wraps his arms around Ash, Batgirl, and Supergirl] Look, we all know you're A-listers trapped in a B-listers career, and I could help you get the respect you deserve. [walks off]
After he left, Batgirl just threw the card in the trash.
Aura Guardian: Aw, phooey! We're too smart to take any scams from that guy! Now, come on! Let's go get some malasadas and hit the new spa place for our spa day! Would you like to come, Batgirl and Supergirl?
Batgirl: Yeah! That sounds like fun!
Supergirl: Eh! Why not!
Jimmy Olsen: He's right, you know. You both could use more exposure. Don't you want to make it big like Bats and Supes someday?
Boy: Batman, over here! [as Batman signs his chest] I'm going to remember this day forever.
Batgirl: Oh what does Max Lord know? We get tons of respect.
Supergirl: Right? People love us.
Boy: Nice knock-off costume. [laughs]
Aura Guardian: [scoffs] Everyone's a critic!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Machop: [growls angrily at the boys] MACH... [squeezes a lamp post and bends it]
Boy #1: [gulps]
Boy #2: [nervously] Note to self: Never anger a Machop!
Supergirl: That's right! Mess with me, you mess with my Machop!
Boys: [gulp nervously]
Jimmy Olsen: Cool costumes! Can I get a picture for my school paper?
Supergirl: [to Batgirl] Might wanna get-
Batgirl: Yeah, I'll get the card out of the trash.
Aura Guardian: [gasps] Girls, you can't be serious?! You're actually gonna believe that Max Lord guy?!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Supergirl: Of course! We need the respect we deserve!
Aura Guardian: Don't listen to that Max Lord guy! Tons of people respect you! Especially me! Sis, you're one of the strongest girls I know, and Batgirl, you'd make a much better sidekick than Robin any day!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Batgirl: Thanks, AG!
Swoobat: SWOOBAT!
Machop: [saying "nobody has been giving the respect my trainer deserves, and I'm getting tired of people who mock her!"] MACH MACH MACHOP CHOP, MACHOP MACH MACH MACHOP!
Supergirl: I know, Machop! I know!
Machop: [raises its fist determinedly and saying "c'mon, Kara! Let's go show these people what we're made of!"] MACH MACH, MACHOP!
Swoobat: [agreeing] SWOOBAT!
Supergirl: That's what I'm talking about, Machop!
Batgirl: Let's do it!
And the two girls and their Pokémon headed off to find that Max Lord character!
Aura Guardian: Pickles and prune juice! I've got a feeling things might go south for them!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alex: [gags] Gross, Ash! Pickles and prune juice do not go together!
Aura Guardian: It's just a saying of exasperation, Alex! Though, I honestly wonder where I heard it before!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Later on, Babs and Kara were at the park and there seemed to be some sort of ceremony!
Female Police Officer: Welcome to the unveiling of the city park's newest sculpture.
Swoobat: [yawning] BAT!
Machop: [yawning] MACH!
Babs: Max's tip said something big was gonna go down here. Something that would really put us in the public eye. But I don't know what that big deal could be.
Kara: Better not be another Superman statue.
The reason being was there was a bunch of Superman statues in the park!
Ash: [coming over with Lana and Misty, as Misty is hugging his arm] Hey, girls!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Babs: Oh! Hey, Ash! Misty! Lana! Where are the other girls?
Ash: We just finished up! Sam, Alex and Clover decided to go and spend time with Marc, Lee, Megan, Tony, and Brittney!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Lana: What's going on here?
Babs: Max told us something big was gonna go down here! We just don't know what!
Ash: You're really gonna trust that guy, aren't'cha?
Babs: [shakes him] This may be our only chance to be big shots!
Ash: Okay, okay! [notices the Superman statues] Sheesh! Doesn't Superman have enough statues?
Misty: Talk about a glory hog!
She then noticed one that involved him sitting on the toilet.
Misty: And that one's just embarrassing!
Psyduck: [posing as Superman] PSY YI!
Supergirl: [growls] [bonks Psyduck on the head] Who's side are you on?!
Psyduck: [dizzy with eyes all wonky] PSY YI!
Female Police Officer: Here for the unveiling is the Mole of Honor himself, Metropolis's own, [pulls a mole out of a box] Mr. Moofy the Mole!
Moofy the Mole: [squeaks]
[crowd cheering]
Lana: Aww! How cute!
Primarina: PRIMA!
Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE!
Babs: Sheesh, who's Mr. Moofy?
Kara: Only like the cutest mascot in the entire world! And this city loves him! [waves at Moofy] Hi!
Ash: Huh. Didn't think a mole would a mascot!
Misty: Oh! He's so cute!
Ash: [smiles] So are you, Misty!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Misty: Oh, Ashy!
She then kisses him on the cheek.
Ash: [giggles] But I don't get it! What does that Max guy plan to do from this ceremony?

The officer then unveiled the tarp, and what was under it was a statue of Mr. Moofy!
[crowd cheering]
Ash: And it's a statue of the mole!
Pikachu: PIKA!
[thudding]
Lana: [gasps] What's happening?!
Giganta: Fun's over! Hand over [grabs Moofy the Mole] the Mole!
Ash: It's Giganta again!
Jessie: And hand over your Pokémon!
Babs: Team Rocket?!
Misty: Lana and I will keep them busy! You guys go transform!
Ash, Babs, and Kara: Right!
James: [to Giganta] Remind me again why we're molenapping a mole?
Giganta: Because [whispers the plan]!
James: Oh, of course!
Misty: Stop right there, Team Rocket!
Lana: Relinquish that cute little critter!
Primarina: [threatening] PRIMA PRIM!
Eevee (Sandy): [threatening] EEVEE VEE!
Jessie: I don't think so! [tosses PokéBall] Seviper, front and center!
James: [tosses PokéBall] Mareanie, you too!
Seviper: [appearing] SEVIPER!
Mareanie: [appearing] MAR! [sees James] MAREAN?! [leaps over to James] [affectionate] MAREAN!
James: AAH!
Mareanie then attached itself to James' head! Then...
James was poisoned with a purple face and spikey hair, similar to a Mareanie.
James: [poisoned] Get them, not me!
Misty: Psyduck, use Water Gun!
Lana: Sandy, Double-Edge!
Psyduck: [Water Gun move] PSY...DUCK!
Eevee (Sandy): [Double-Edge move] EEV...VEE!
Seviper: [hit by Water Gun] SEVI!
Mareanie: [hit by Double-Edge] MARE!
Jessie: Oh yeah?! Seviper, use Poison Tail!
James: Mareanie, use Sludge Bomb!
Mareanie: [Sludge Bomb move] MAREA...NIE NIE NIE NIE NIE!
Seviper: [Poison Tail move] SE...VIPER!
That's when an Air Slash attack came in and stopped the attacks!
Meowth: What was dat?!
Swoobat: SWOOBAT!
Batgirl: [leaping in with Supergirl and Aura Guardian] Did somebody order some justice?!
Supergirl: [cracks her knuckles] With a side of beatdown?!
Jessie: Doh! It's the other twerps!
Supergirl: [angry] And another thing! You're really starting to tick me off with saying 'twerp' all the time! Give back Mr. Moofy! NOW!
Jessie: Here's my tongue and cheek response! [pulls down her eyelid and sticks out her tongue] NYEAH!
Supergirl: You asked for it! Machop! Let's show these bozos what we're made of!
Machop: [determined] MACHOP!
Aura Guardian: Let's do this, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [determined, cheeks sparking] PIKACHU!
Batgirl: [raises her cape] It's battle time, Swoobat!
Swoobat: [determined] SWOOBAT!
Aura Guardian: Pikachu, use Quick Attack!
Supergirl: Machop, use Fire Punch!
Batgirl: Swoobat, use Brave Bat!

Jessie: Seviper, use Bite!
James: Mareanie, use Knock Off!

But Pikachu wasn't hit and its attack made contact with Seviper!

Aura Guardian: Nice one, Pikachu!

Batgirl: Now, [pulls out a PokéBall] allow me to introduce you to the newest member of Team Bat! [tosses PokéBall] Go, Tyrunt!
Tyrunt: [appearing] TYRUNT!
Meowth: A Tyrunt!
Wobbuffet: WOBBU WOB!
Batgirl: Tyrunt, Crunch attack!
Tyrunt: [Crunch move] TYRUNT!
Seviper: [pained] VIPE!
Mareanie: [pained] NIE!
Batgirl: Dragon Tail!
Tyrunt: [Dragon Tail move] TY...RUNT!
The attack sent Seviper and Mareanie towards their trainers!
Aura Guardian: Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Team Rocket: [electrocuted] GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
[explosion]
Jessie: [as they were sent flying] I guess it's back to old school!

But they were stopped midway and were caught in the arms of Bewear!
James: You still have the strength of ten times ten!
Bewear: BEWEAR! [runs off with Team Rocket]
Team Rocket: We're off with a new Bewear blast!
Wobbuffet: WOBBUFFET!
Giganta: Huh? [scoffs] Whatevs! I'll do it myself!
Aura Guardian: C'mon, girls! Let's take her down!
Pikachu: [determined, cheeks sparking] PIKACHU!
[crowd chanting] Supergirl!
Girl: Get her, Batgirl!
Boy: Go get her, Aura Guardian!
Supergirl: [to Batgirl] This is our shot to give the people what they want!
Batgirl: Then, [twirls her rope like a lasso] let's give 'em a show!
Aura Guardian: Yeah! [creates an Aura Blade] Aura Prism Slash!
Giganta: No! I hate that attack! [hit by the Aura Prism] UGH!
Batgirl wrapped her rope around Giganta as Supergirl spun her around, causing her to fall to the ground, knocking her out, but Moofy the Mole was sent flying!
Aura Guardian: [gasps] Moofy's airborne!

Lana: Quick! Somebody catch him!
Luckily, Batgirl was able to catch the mole just in time!
[crowd cheering]
News Reporter: What a scoop! Supergirl and Batgirl save Mr. Moofy with the help of Aura Guardian!
Then, a few girls approached Aura Guardian looking excited.
Girl #1: Aura Guardian!
Girl #2: Can we get your autograph and Pikachu's pawprint!
Girl #3: And a few pictures with you?
Aura Guardian: [smiles] Of course! Anything for my fans!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
And he did just that and they got a few pictures with him!
Girl #1: Wow! These turned out great!

Supergirl started to snicker when she heard that!

And they did just that! Unlike Ash, Supergirl and Batgirl continued to perform publicly stunts, but they didn't seem that heroic such as saving a picnic, finding the mayor's lucky penny, reheating pizza, teaching an aerobics class, and saving puppies from nightmares. Despite that, the people seemed thrilled by their acts. The two heroines even decided to hang the papers on a bulletin board at the base.
Ash: Girls, these aren't really heroic acts!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Babs: Ash, what are you talking about?! The people love it!
Ash: But you're not even facing any supervillains!
Misty: You're basically performing community service!
Ash: I'm gonna go out and find that Max guy! High time I had some strong words for him!
Babs: NO! [pounces onto him]

Max was making in a lot of cash because of this! Ash, Misty and Lana were spying on the situation and they took photos and notes! Kara got jealous about this and contacted Max! Soon, she was on a cereal commercial!
Supergirl: Wanna know the secret to my strength? Eat Pow-Power Loops cereal everyday! [punches a wall and hold up a box of cereal]
Max was signing contracts from this, while Ash, Misty and Lana were still spying on the situation and taking photos and notes! Kara put her thing over Babs' picture and Babs wasn't too happy about that!
Batgirl was now at a recording studio!
Batgirl: Look out, world! I know where it's at! Haven't you heard? [takes out a bat] It's my turn at bat!
Then, she saw someone shaking hands with someone and a photo was taken of her! Ash, Misty and Lana were still spying on the situation and taking photos and notes! Back at the base, Babs put her picture over Kara's, making her call Max once again! Later on, she was at the library.
Supergirl: [reading a book] That's when I realized that this girl had been super all along!
[clapping]
Babs: [groans]
Later on, they were at a public meet and greet, but Batgirl and Supergirl were glaring at each other backstage!
Batgirl and Supergirl: [both groan at each other]
Swoobat: [glaring at Machop] SWOO!
Machop: [glaring at Swoobat] MACH!
Lana: Oh my! Even their Pokémon are competitive with each other!
Ash: This has gone far enough! I'm gonna put a stop to this!

Supergirl: [scoffs] After listening to you sing, I thought you'd have a soft spot for anything flat.
Batgirl: Oh yeah? How about next time someone ghost-writes a book for you, you proofread it? You do realize the middle three chapters of your memoir are reprinted from a cookbook?
Max Lord: Enough! I don't care what's going on between you, but out there, you need to protect the brand. You need to play nice. [walks off]

Their moves were able to break the rocks, but Max Lord escaped!

Elsewhere, Batgirl was cruising on her moped while pouting after what happened with Supergirl, but that's when Noibat noticed a nearby news stand.

Noibat: [points to the news stand] BAT!
Batgirl backed up to take a closer look at what the papers said.
Batgirl: [reading the paper] "Super Friends no more?"
She then became saddened, knowing Ash was right all along.
Noibat: [comforting] NOIBAT NOI!
Batgirl: Ash was right! What am I gonna do now?!
Noibat: [telling her it's never too late to do the right thing] NOI NOI NOIBAT NOIBAT!
Batgirl: Noibat, [hugs Noibat] you're a genius!
Noibat: [asking "and strong?"] NOIBAT?
Batgirl: Yes! [cuddles it] And strong! Just like your mama!
Noibat: [proud] NOIBAT BAT!

Giganta had taken Max Lord hostage and was leaping across buildings, with Team Rocket in tow!

Soon, they rushed to the rescue, just as Giganta was carrying Max Lord in her arms while climbing up the Daily Planet news building!

Max: HELP!

Noibat: NOI?!
Batgirl: You did? So did I.
Supergirl: You did? I couldn't stand what he was turning me into!
Machop: [agreeing] MACHOP!
Batgirl: I know. I can't believe I didn't support you more. You can always be in the middle of the picture.

Supergirl: Of course.
Swoobat and Machop: [apologizing to each other] SWOOBAT!/MACHOP!

Batgirl then took out her binoculars and looked at the Moofy the Mole statue in the park.

Aura Guardian: Say what now?

Batgirl: Just watch! [to Supergirl] Supes, how far you figure you can throw our big friend here?
Supergirl: Take [punches Giganta hard] that, Giganta!
Giganta: [screaming] [falling]
[woman gasps]
[Thud]
Giganta ended up destroying the Moofy statue due to her fall.
[boy cries]
Giganta: [grins]
James: She broke the statue!
Aura Guardian: I never thought I'd say this about her, but I hope she's alright!

They were stopped midway by Bewear, with Stufful on its head, on one of Team Rocket's gadgets! A hoverboard! And it caught Team Rocket in its arms and flew away with them!

Soon, Giganta was arrested by the police and was being taken away.

Clover: That's right! For your scamming spree towards super heroes and super villains!

Kara's Rotom Phone: Tranquill, the Wild Pigeon Pokémon. A Normal and Flying type, and the evolved form of Pidove. It can fly moderately quickly. No matter how far it travels, it can always find its way back to its master and its nest.

Max Lord: Ha! You're kidding?! You two are at a disadvantage! Those guys haven't even evolved! I basically have the upper hand!
Supergirl: Newsflash! We didn't ask you! And your Pokémon are as lousy as your hair!
Max Lord: Oh, now you've got me mad! Tranquill, attack with Air Slash!

Batgirl and Supergirl: Dodge it!
Machop and Noibat: [dodge] CHOP/BAT!
Batgirl: Noibat, use Supersonic!

Tranquill and Breloom: [hit] TRAN!/BRE!
That ended up making the two Pokémon confused!
Breloom: [stars in its eyes] BREL!

Supergirl: Now, Machop! Show 'em your Submission attack!
Machop: [nods] MACH! [grabs Breloom] MACHOP! [Submission move] MA...CHOP!

Batgirl: Noibat, use Bite on Tranquill!
Noibat: [Bite move] NOI...BAT!
Tranquill: [pained] TRAN!
Max Lord: [growls] Breloom, use Brick Break!

Noibat: [hit] BAT!

Supergirl: Oh yeah?! Machop, show that fungus your Fire Punch!

Both wing moves clashed against each other!

Max: Now, Air Slash!

Aura Guardian: Whoa! Check out Machop!

Misty: It's trying to endure it!
Then, the Air Slash ceased and Machop fell onto one knee!
Machop: [weak] [panting] MACH, MACH...
Aura Guardian: Machop's getting weak!
Batgirl: Quick, Noibat! Help, Machop! Use Air Cutter!
Noibat: [complying] BAT! [Air Cutter move] NOIBAT!
Trainquill: [hit] TRANQUILL!
Batgirl: Keep going, Noibat! Give it some more oomph!
Noibat: [complying] BAT! [Air Cutter move] NOI! BAT! BAT!
Tranquill: [pained] TRANQUILL!
Machop: [regaining its strength] MACHOP!
Supergirl: Thanks, Bats! I think I have an idea!
Batgirl: Ooh! Tell me!
Supergirl: [whispers in her ear]
Batgirl: Ooh! Let's try it!
Max Lord: Rude! I can hear you whispering! Breloom, Energy Ball!
Breloom: [Energy Ball move] BRE...LOOM!
Supergirl and Batgirl: Dodge it!
Machop and Noibat: [dodge] CHOP/BAT!
Supergirl: Use Focus Blast on Tranquill!
Machop: [Focus Blast move] MA...CHOP!
Max Lord: [scoffs] This again? Use Detect!
Tranquill: [Detect move] [dodging] TRANQUILL!
Max Lord: Missed again, Supes!
Batgirl: But we won't!
Max Lord: Huh?!
Batgirl: [raises her cape] Noibat, Supersonic!
Noibat: [Supersonic move] NOIBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
Tranquill: [pained] TRAN! [confused] QUILL QUILL!
Max Lord: What?! Not again!
Supergirl: Grab that bird, Machop!
Machop: [grabs Tranquill] MACHOP!
Supergirl: Use Submission!

Tranquill was sent straight to the ground!
Tranquill: [pained] QUILL! [swirls in eyes] [knocked out] TRANQUILL...
Max Lord: No!
Batgirl: Yes! That's one down!
Max Lord: Oh yeah?! Breloom, grab hold of that puny bat!
Breloom: [grabs Noibat] BREL!
Noibat: NOI?!
Max Lord: Use Stun Spore!
Breloom: [Stun Spore move] BREL...OOM!
Noibat: [coughs] NOIBAT!
Max Lord: Now, Rock Tomb!
Breloom: [Rock Tomb move] BRE...LOOM!
Noibat: [pained] NOI!
Then, Noibat fell down defeated!
Noibat: [swirls in eyes] [knocked out] NOIBAT...
Batgirl: Noibat, no!
Max Lord: One down, one to go.
Supergirl: Well we're not giving up that easily! Machop, use Fire Punch from both of your fists!
Machop: [complying] MACH! [Fire Punch move from both fists] MA...CHOP!
Max Lord: No, you don't! Breloom, meet it head on with Brick Break!
Breloom: [Brick Break move] BRELOOM!
Both attacks collided!
Max Lord: Use Stun Spore!
Breloom: [Stun Spore move] BREL...OOM!
Supergirl: Machop, back away!
But Machop didn't back away in time!
Machop: [paralyzed] MACHOP!
Lana: [worried] Oh no! Machop's paralyzed!
Primarina: [worried] PRIMARINA!
Sam: Come on, Supes! You can do it!
Supergirl: C'mon, Machop! You can take it!
Machop: [struggling to get up] MA...CHOP...
Max Lord: Your days of heroing are over, girls! Use Brick Break!

Machop: [gets up] [blocks it] MACHOP... [glows white]

Everyone except Aura Guardian: [gasps]
Aura Guardian: Machop is evolving!

And he was right! And when the process was complete...
Machoke: [punches Breloom in the gut] MACHOKE!
Breloom: [pained] LOOM!
Ash: It evolved into Machoke!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Supergirl: Whoa! [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
Kara's Rotom Phone: Machoke has been registered to your Pokédex! Machoke, the Superpower Pokémon. A Fighting type, and the evolved form of Machop. Machoke's thoroughly toned muscles possess the hardness of steel. This Pokémon has so much strength, it can easily hold aloft a sumo wrestler on just one finger.
Supergirl: Nice! 'Kay, Machoke, use Fire Punch!
Machoke: [Fire Punch move] MA...CHOKE!
Breloom: [pained] LOOM!
Supergirl: Use Submission!
However, Machoke was using a different move!
Machoke: [Strength move] MACHOKE!
Breloom: [pained] BRELOOM!
Batgirl: That didn't look like Submission!
Aura Guardian: That was Strength!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Supergirl: Alright! Great job, Machoke! Now, do it again with some more oomph!
Machoke: [Strength move] MA...CHOKE!
Breloom: [pained] BRELOOM!
Max Lord: [growls] Use Stun Spore!
Supergirl: Nope! Use Superpower!
Machoke: [Superpower move] MA...CHOKE!

Then, Breloom landed on the ground with a thud and it was defeated!
Breloom: [defeated] [swirls in eyes] BRELOOM!
Alex: Breloom is unable to battle! Machoke wins! And the victors of the double battle are Batgirl and Supergirl!
Batgirl: Yay! We won!
Supergirl: Yeah! We did!
Machoke: [proud] MACH MACHOKE!
Supergirl: Nice going, Machoke! Great job!
Machoke: [flexes its arm] MACH!
Supergirl: [flexes her arm] Yeah!
However, Max Lord was trying to sneak away, which didn't go unnoticed by our heroes!
Aura Guardian: Hey! And just where do you think you're going?!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking] PIKACHU!
Clover: You lost! [pulls out handcuffs] So, you're going to the WOOHP Containment Facility!
Max Lord: Nope! [about to run]
Machoke: [blocks him] MACHOKE! [puts him in an arm hold from behind] MACHOKE!
Max Lord: AAH! Let go of me, you big oaf!
Alex: [puts the handcuffs on his wrists] No more scams for you, Maxie Boy!
Aura Guardian: [to Pikachu] [smiles] That oughta teach him, buddy!
The next day, our heroes were at the base. Marc, Lee, Megan and Tony were playing a video game that's compatible for 1-4 players while Sam, Alex, Clover, Misty and Lana were watching them, as Jessica was reading the latest news of what happened.
Jessica: [reading] "Supergirl and Batgirl save some guy. Destroy beloved Moofy statue in process"?
Lana: That last part doesn't sound very good.
Kara: Well, at least it's "Supergirl and Batgirl" this time.
Machoke: [agreeing] MACH MACHOKE!
Jessica: [grunts]
Misty: [chuckles] Oh right! [to Jessica, with a cheeky smile] Babs and Kara wanted to let you know that you were right!
Babs and Kara: MISTY!
Misty: [with a cheeky smile] Did I say that? Oopsie!
Jessica: Well, I'm just glad you're not dealing with that Max guy anymore!
Then, they heard the sound of a worried Ash!
Ash: [worried] Oh! What am I going to do? What am I going to do?!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Jessica: Ash? What's wrong?
Ash: [blushes in embarrassment] The thing is, I think Officer Jenny has been smitten by me as Aura Guardian!
Jessica: Wait, what?!
Ash: [worried] And she asked Aura Guardian out on a date and I'm Aura Guardian and I don't know what to do! I can't just up and tell her after our date "Hey, I'm actually Ash Ketchum!" She'd probably lose interest in me!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [worried] Oh, what should I do, Jess?!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Jessica: Well, I think you should at least try to tell her the truth sooner or later! Besides, from what Goh told me about that one time in Vermillion City where Pikachu was accused of stealing electricity, Officer Jenny said that she knew you and Pikachu for the longest time and that she trust and believes you! I'm sure she'll still like you if you at least tell the truth! But maybe do it somewhere privately so there won't be any suspecting eyes!
Ash: [smiles] You're right! But for now, I think I should keep it a secret for a bit longer! Thanks, Jess!
Then, he transformed into Aura Guardian!
Aura Guardian: Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date to on as Aura Guardian! [leaves through the back door] See you guys later! [closes the door]
Kara: Good luck!
