21. The Chase is On Part 2

Last time, our heroes had arrived in the Unova Region where Goh's Chaser mission is to find and capture the Legendary Pokémon, Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus and then see if they can find anything on Enamorus! But first, they're on their way to the Driftveil Gym, where Kara will challenge and earn herself another badge while Danika and Quillon make reservations for a boat ride to Milos Island later this evening!

Ash: [sighs in relaxation] [smiles]

Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!

Ash: Going to the Driftveil Gym sure brings back memories, huh, Pikachu?

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Zee: I take it you battled here before, huh, darling?

Ash: Yep! I used Oshawott, Snivy, and Roggenrola, who then evolved into a Boldore while battling Clay's Excadrill, and I won me the Quake Badge!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!

Zee: That's my Ashykins! The one man with brains and brawn! The two qualities of a dream husband!

Ash blushed from that as Zee hugged his arm!

Zee: And that's you, Ashykins! [kisses his cheek] Mwah!

Ash: [blushes] [smiles] Aw, Zee!

Kara: Yada yada yada! Let's just go so I can win me a Gym Badge!

Incineroar: INCINE!

Ash: Cool your jets, Kara! We're almost there!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Serena: [while hugging Ash's arm] I'd go anywhere with you, sweetie!

Ash: [smiles] I'd go anywhere with you too, Serena!

Soon, they arrived at the Driftveil Gym!

Ash: Here we are, everyone! The Driftveil City Gym!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Kara: Hey, alright! That Quake Badge is as good as mine!

Zee: Ooh, the exterior is simply divine!

Zee's Sylveon: SYLVEON!

Ash: Wait until you see inside! That is, if Clay doesn't make up an excuse to not have a battle!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Babs: [bangs on the door] Open up! Open up! Open up! Open up! Open up!

The door opened up, and Clay appeared while Babs was banging her fists on him!

Chloe: [sweat drops] Uh, Babs?

Babs: [stops] Huh?

Clay: Hello. Who are you people?

Ash: Hey, Clay! It's me, Ash! Remember?

Pikachu: PIKA PIKACHU!

Clay: Huh? [remembers] Well, I'll be! Good to see ya, ya young whippersnapper!

Ash: You too, Clay!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Clay: And I see you brought along some new compadres!

Ash: I sure did! Let me introduce you! This is Babs, Jessica, Kara, Karen, Clover, Alex, Goh, Chloe, Bianca, and my girlfriends, Zee, Diana, Sam and Serena!

Babs: Hi!

Swoobat: [greeting] SWOOBAT!

Jessica: Hello, sir!

Reuniclus: [greeting] REU!

Deerling: [greeting] DEERLING!

Kara: 'Sup!

Incineroar: [greeting] ROAR!

Karen: [shyly] H-Hello.

Ribombee: [greeting] BOMBOM!

Diana: Greetings!

Luxray: [greeting] LUXRAY!

Combusken: [greeting] COMBUSKEN!

Zee: [curtsies] A pleasure!

Zee's Sylveon: [bows] VEON!

Clover: Hello!

Sam: Hey!

Alex: Hi!

Serena: Nice to meet you!

Serena's Sylveon: [greeting] SYLVE!

Bianca: Hi!

Goh: Hey!

Grookey: [greeting] GROOKEY!

Chloe: Hello!

Eevee: [greeting] EEVEE!

Clay: Pleased to make your acquaintances! As you know, I'm Clay, the Driftveil Gym Leader! I specialize in mining for treasure and Ground-type Pokémon!

Ash: Plus, Clay's a pretty tough opponent!

Clay: That's true! So, Ash! What brings y'all back to Driftveil City anyways?

Ash: We came to Unova to investigate on Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus on Milos Island! And we came to Driftveil City to take a boat down to that island! But before we do, one of my friends wanted to come and challenge you to a gym battle for the Quake Badge!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Clay: Really now? And who might that be?

Kara: [points her thumb at herself] That's me, tough guy!

Incineroar: [flexes] CINE!

Clay: Really now? You wanna have a gym battle with me, little missy?

Kara: You know it!

Ash: So, do you have the time for a battle?

Clay: Afraid not. [lowers his hat] I'm in a big hurry, right now, so I've got no time to battle you. Maybe later. [walks away]

Kara: Aweso- Wait, what?!

Karen: [smiles nervously] Oh, what a shame, I think we should be going, too! Let's go! [goes to leave]

Kara: Hold it! [gets in front of Clay; angry] I didn't come all the way to Unova Region for Goh's little Chasers Mission just so you can turn me down a chance for a Gym Badge! I ain't leaving until I have that gym battle and have your Gym Badge in my hand! So, battle me right now!

Incineroar: [angry] INCINEROAR!

Diana: Pardon me, Clay, but why pray tell can you not battle Kara right now?

Clay: [while walking] Because we're searching for a familiar vein.

Kara: [gets in front of Clay; angry] I don't care if you're searching for pirate's treasure! You're gonna battle me! Right here, right now!

Ash: Hold on! Clay, are you searching for Revival Herbs again?

Pikachu: PIKA?

That made Clay jump at how Ash figured that out!

Clay: How in tarnation did ya'll figure that out?!

Ash: Just a hunch!

Jessica: Well, lucky for you, [pulls out a couple of Ziploc bags full of Revival Herbs] I had grown some Revival Herbs back in Metropolis! I was gonna use them for our Pokémon and to make medicine, but I think you need them more!

Clay was surprised and took the bags of Revival Herbs while looking into them!

Clay: Hmm... [smiles] These'll do just fine. Thank ya kindly, little lady. [to Kara] I suppose I can pause on my excavation for a little bit. Ya want a battle? Ya got yourself one!

Kara: Hey alright! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

Incineroar: [flexes] CINEROAR!

Clay: [to everyone] Then, follow me inside!

Everyone followed Clay into the gym, but they seemed to be walking towards an elevator!

Jessica: Uh, there's an elevator in here?

Deerling: DEER?

Ash: Yep! This elevator will take us to the battlefield, which is underground!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Babs: [gasps deeply] [eyes sparkling] [excited] An underground battlefield?! Almost reminds me of the Batcave!

Swoobat: [excited] SWOOBAT SWOO!

Chloe: How exactly?

Eevee: EEVEE?

Babs: The Batcave is underground! Which is where Batman built it in the first place!

Bianca: [eyes sparkling; excited] Really?! He did?!

Babs: [nods eagerly] Yep!

Bianca: [while bending over a bit and twerking her buttocks, making Ash blush] Wowie! That's so cool! I wanna hear more about Batman!

Babs: Oh, trust me, [wraps an arm around her] girlfriend! You're in for a wild ride!

Bianca: EEE! [notices Ash blushing; cheeky look] Ash, are you blushing because of me?

Ash: HUH?! [composes himself, as Zee giggles] N-No! I-I'm fine! So, you never heard of Batman?

Bianca: Well, not really! [to Babs] But I'm willing to learn all about him from you, Babs!

Babs: I thought you'd never ask!

Kubfu: [asking "Who's Batman?"] KUBFU?

Babs: I'll explain everything to you with Bianca, Kubfu!

Kubfu: [nods] FU!

Clay: Alrighty then, ready to head down to the battlefield?

Diana: Indeed!

Clay: [as the elevator opened] Right this way!

Ash: [lets Zee go first] [smiles] Ladies first, Zee!

Zee: Ooh. Why thank you, darling!

Ash: [lets Serena go] After you, Serena!

Serena: Ooh. Thank you, sweetie!

Ash: [lets Diana go] You first, Diana!

Diana: Why thank you, my love!

Ash: [lets Sam go] Sam!

Sam: Thanks, hun!

Soon, everyone got in the elevator!

Clay: Going down!

The elevator closed and started to go down!

Zee: You are such a gentleman, Ashykins!

Serena: Agreed!

Ash: [blushes] [rubs his neck sheepishly] I try, girls!

Zee: And that's what we love about you!

Zee and Serena hugged his arms!

Ash: Aww, girls!

Then, the elevator reached the bottom floor!

Clay: Here we are!

When they exited the elevator, it turns out they were now in a tunnel underground!

Diana: Incredible!

Clay: The battlefield is just down this way!

Kara: Alright!

As they walked along, they noticed workers mining with pickaxes.

Jessica: I guess people like to mine in this tunnels!

Clay: Actually, we're adding in a few extra areas to the gym! One for a sauna, one for training, one for a hot tub, and one for massages!

Clover: [eye sparkle; excited] I like the sound of that!

Kara: Too bad I didn't come for relaxation, saunas or hot tubs! I'm here for a gym battle!

But then, something blue sticking out from the ground caught Babs' attention!

Babs: Ooh. What's that thing?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Babs: Look!

They looked in Babs' direction as she got down and attempted to pull the unknown object out of the ground, but it seemed to be wedged in.

Babs: It's stuck!

With one great pull, she managed to pull it out and land on her backside.

Babs: OOF! I got it!

Ash: What is it?

Clay: That there's a Blue Shard!

Babs: A Blue Shard? Never heard of it!

Swoobat: SWOOBAT!

Clay: It's a kind of shard that certain collectors have their eyes on!

Ash: Oh yeah! I found one, along with a red, green, and yellow one during the treasure hunt on Akala Island!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Babs: Really?

Ash: I sure did!

Alex: And I bet they were the only things you could find, huh?

Ash: [slumps in defeat] [groans with blue squiggly lines going down his head] Yeah...

Kara: Yada yada yada! Come on already! Let's get this gym battle going!

But when they reached the end of the tunnel, there seemed to be some doors in front of them!

Jessica: Strange! It's a dead end!

Clay: Wrong! This here's the entrance to the battlefield!

Then, he took out a pickaxe and swung it around!

Clay: YEEHAW!

He used his pickaxe to push a small button, and the doors began to open!

Kara: Whoa!

Karen: Wow! It's like a secret compartment!

Ash: In a way!

After the doors opened, our heroes got in a great view of the underground battlefield!

Kara: Whoa!

Diana: Great Hera!

Goh: [exclaims in shock]

Chloe: It's huge!

Eevee: [awed] EEVEE...

Babs: [eyes sparkling; excited] Just like the Batcave...

Clay: This here's our battlefield! [to everyone] You're all welcome to watch from the stands over there!

And to the stands they went!

Kara and Clay went over to their opposing sides!

Ash: Go, Kara! You've got this!

Pikachu: [cheering] PIKA PIKA!

Zee: Battle hard, Kara!

Zee's Sylveon: [cheering] SYLVE SYLVEON!

Clay: Let's get this show on the road.

Kara: Yes! Let's!

Referee: The battle between Kara, the challenger and the Driftveil City Gym Leader, Clay, is about to begin! Each side will have the use of three Pokémon and the battle will be over when either side's Pokémon are unable to continue! Furthermore, only the challenger will be allowed to substitute Pokémon at any time!

Babs: Ooh, this is gonna be good!

Swoobat: [excited] BAT SWOOBAT!

Kubfu: [leans against the bars] KUB.

Referee: Get ready! Battle begin!

Clay: Ready?! [spins his pickaxe] Here we go! [sticks it into the ground] [takes out a PokéBall] Alright, Krookodile! [tosses the PokéBall] Let's get to work!

Krookodile: [appearing] KROOKODILE!

Jessica: It's a Krookodile!

Ash: That must mean Clay's Krokorok must've evolved!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Kara: Okay! So he's going with a Ground and Dark type! [while tossing a PokéBall] Now, Chewtle, let's rock-'n'-roll!

Chewtle: [appearing] CHEWTLE!

Kara: Let's start this concert off with Water Gun!

Chewtle: [Water Gun move] CHEW...TLE!

Clay: Dodge it using Dig!

Krookodile: [Dig move] KROOKODILE!

Krookodile dug underground!

Kara: So that's how you wanna play, huh? Good thing we were able to get Chewtle to learn this move! Use Whirlpool!

Clay: Whirlpool?!

Chewtle: [Whirlpool move] CHEW...TLE!

When Krookodile attempted to strike Chewtle above with Dig, it ended up diving straight into the Whirlpool!

Krookodile: [pained] KROO!

Clay: Krookodile!

Kara: Now, Water Gun!

Chewtle: [Water Gun move] CHEW...TLE!

Krookodile: [pained] KROOKO!

Clay: That won't be enough! Use Crunch!

Krookodile: [Crunch move] KROOKODI!

Chewtle: [pained] CHEW!

Kara: Chewtle!

Clay: Now use Sandstorm!

Krookodile: [Sandstorm move] KROOKO...DILE!

Then, a fierce sandstorm kicked up!

Kara: Not today! Chewtle, spin on your shell and use Water Gun!

Chewtle: [gets down on its shell and spins] [Water Gun move] CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEWTLE!

That attack pushed back the Sandstorm attack!

Clay: A Water Gun wall?!

Karen: How is it doing that?

Ash: That's a counter shield!

Zee: Counter shield?

Ash: I developed this technique while trying to find a way to prevent Fantina's Pokémon from making my Pokémon fall asleep with Hypnosis. It was eventually used for both offensive and defensive purposes. I took inspiration from the Contest Battle between Dawn and Lila in the Celestic Contest during my journey in Sinnoh! To develop this technique, I used it in my Gym battle with Fantina. Amazed with the method, Fantina named it the Counter Shield. It eventually helped me with my battle and win, earning me the Relic Badge!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Jessica: Wow! Now that's pretty impressive! I bet Kara probably learned it from Dawn!

Karen: I don't know what surprises me more! The fact that I'm witnessing a Counter Shield or the fact that Kara strategized to learn how to do a Counter Shield!

Diana: I agree!

Chloe: Me too!

Zee: As do I! [to Ash] But you learn something new with my smarty love bug!

Ash: [blushes] Aww!

Zee: [nuzzles against his cheek] He's the smartest man in the world!

She then cupped his face with her hands!

Zee: And I love a smart man! [kisses his forehead, leaving a lipstick mark] Mwah!

Serena: [hugs Ash] As do I! [kisses his cheek] Mwah!

Ash: [blushes] [giggles] You girls!

Serena: Do you think you can teach me a Counter Shield, sweetie?

Ash: Sure! I'll teach you when we get back to Metropolis! [winks] They'll come in handy for my Kalos Queen's fantastic performances!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Serena: [blushes] Oh, sweetie!

She then hugged him and nuzzled her cheek against his!

Serena: You're the best! [kisses his cheek] Mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah!

Ash: [giggles] [to Zee] I'm happy to teach you how to do a Counter Shield for your amazing magic shows as well, [winks] my beautiful magician!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Zee: That would be wonderful, darling!

The magic girl wrapped her arms around the Pokémon Master!

Zee: I would love that very much! [kisses his cheek, leaving a lipstick mark] Mwah!

Ash: [blushes] [giggles]

Clay: Krookodile, use Stone Edge!

Krookodile: [Stone Edge move] KROOKO...DILE!

Kara: Dodge it, Chewtle!

Chewtle: [dodges] CHEW!

Clay: Use Crunch!

Krookodile: [Crunch move] KROOKO...

Kara: Aim for its mouth and use Water Gun!

Chewtle: [Water Gun move] CHEW...TLE!

Krookodile: [pained; gargling] KROOKO! [coughing] KROOKO! KROOK!

Clay: What?! Krookodile, spit it out!

Kara: Alright, Chewtle! Let's rap up this song with Headbutt!

Chewtle: [Headbutt move] CHEW...TLE!

Krookodile: [hit directly in the chest] KROOK!

Clay: Krookodile!

Krookodile: [swirls in eyes] [knocked out] KROOKODILE...

Referee: Krookodile is unable to battle! Chewtle wins!

Clay: [growls]

Kara: Yeah! Way to go, Chewtle!

Chewtle: [proud] CHEW CHEWTLE!

Clay: [returns Krookodile] Krookodile, return!

Ash: Nice job, Kara!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!

Babs: You go, Kara!

Swoobat: [cheering] SWOOBAT SWOO!

Karen: If Kara keeps this up, she just might win the whole thing!

Diana: Indeed!

Kara: [to Clay] I've gotta admit, that Krookodile of yours has got guts!

Clay: As does that little turtle! Guess what they say about size being a relatively thing is true! [takes out another PokéBall] But this is far from over! [tosses the PokéBall] Seismitoad, let's get to work!

Seismitoad: [appearing] SEISMITOAD!

Kara: Whoa!

Jessica: [while pulling out her Rotom Phone] What Pokémon is that?

Jessica's Rotom Phone: Seismitoad, the Vibration Pokémon. A Water and Ground type, and the evolved form of Palpitoad. It increases the power of its punches by vibrating the bumps on its fists. It can turn a boulder to rubble with one punch.

Jessica: Whoa!

Ash: I guess that means Clay's Palpitoad must've evolved too!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Karen: Wait! You mean Palpitoad evolves into that?

Ash: It sure does!

Karen: [gulps nervously]

Kara: Can you keep going, little guy?

Chewtle: [nods affirmatively; determined] CHEW!

Kara: Alright! Then, let's make this a quick and easy win! Use Whirlpool!

Chewtle: [Whirlpool move] CHEW…TLE!

Seismitoad: [hit] SEIS!

Clay: Use Hydro Pump!

Seismitoad: [Hydro Pump move] SEIS...MITOAD!

Kara: Use Water Gun!

Chewtle: [Water Gun move] CHEW...TLE!

But it was clear that Hydro Pump was superior!

Chewtle: [pained] CHEW!

Kara: Chewtle!

Clay: Use Mud Shot!

Seismitoad: [Mud Shot move] SEIS...MITOAD!

Kara: Dodge and use Bite!

Chewtle: [dodges] CHEW! [Bite move] CHEW...TLE!

Seismitoad: [pained] TOAD!

Clay: Use Sludge Bomb!

Seismitoad: [Sludge Bomb move] SEIS...MITOAD!

Chewtle: [hit] CHEW!

Clay: Now use Drain Punch!

Kara: Drain Punch?!

Seismitoad: [Drain Punch move] SEIS...MITOAD!

Chewtle: [pained] CHEWTLE!

Kara: No, Chewtle!

Then, Chewtle slammed into the wall behind Kara and was knocked out!

Chewtle: [dazed] [swirls in eyes] CHEWTLE...

Referee: Chewtle is unable to battle! Seismitoad wins!

Karen: [disappointed] Even after all of that, Chewtle still lost!

Ash: Clay really trained his Seismitoad really hard since I last saw him!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Jessica: How is Kara gonna compete with a power machine like Seismitoad?

Goh: She could use Incineroar! But using a Fire type against a Water and Ground type is a terrible idea!

Ash: [in his head] What are you gonna do now, big sis?

Kara went over to her knocked out Snapping Pokémon and took it into her arms.

Kara: You okay, Chewtle?

Chewtle: [nods] [groans] CHEW...

Kara: You rocked hard, little guy! Now, get a good rest! [returns Chewtle]

Clay: Had enough yet, missy?

Kara: [gains a serious look] Like heck I would, ya country bumpkin! [pulls out a PokéBall] Here's where I get serious! [tosses it] Now, Flygon, let's rock-'n'-roll!

Flygon: [appearing] FLY!

Goh: Flygon?!

Bianca: But why would she use Flygon when Ground types are weak against Water types?!

Ash: Kara must be planning something!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Clay: Now that there's a mighty fine Ground type ya got there!

Kara: Thanks! But this ain't a regular Ground type! Show them what I mean with your new move, Flygon! Use Dragon Rush!

Flygon: [Dragon Rush move] FLY...GON!

Seismitoad: [surprised] TOAD?! [pained] SEIS!

Clay: Huh?!

Kara: Guess you weren't studying your Pokémon types, were you? My Flygon is also a Dragon type! Try this little rock song on for size!

Clay: Well played, little lady! But this ain't over! Seismitoad, use Hydro Pump!

Seismitoad: [Hydro Pump move] SEIS...MITOAD!

Kara: Dodge it!

Flygon: [dodges] FLY!

Kara: Now, give that toad a Draco Meteor Shower!

Flygon: [Draco Meteor move] FLY…GON!

Clay: Dodge them, Seismitoad!

Seismitoad: [tries to dodge] SEISMI! SEISMITOAD!

But no matter where Seismitoad moved, there were Draco Meteors everywhere!

Seismitoad: [hit] SEEEEEEIS!

Clay: Seismitoad!

Kara: Now, wrap it up with Dragon Claw!

Flygon: [Dragon Claw move] FLY…GON!

Seismitoad: [pained] TOAD!

Seismitoad fell backwards defeated!

Seismitoad: [dazed] [swirls in eyes] TOAD...

Referee: Seismitoad is unable to battle! Flygon wins!

Kara: Yeah! Nice going, Flygon!

Flygon: [proud] FLY!

Kara: Who's the powerhouse now?

Clay: [stomps in frustration] Why you little whippersnapper pipsqueak! [returns Seismitoad] Seismitoad, return! You're really starting to make me mad! And I don't like that.

Kara: [teasing] Aw, is the country bumpkin upset because his Pokémon went down?

Clay: [yells, making her flinch] AND ANOTHER THING I WON'T TOLERATE IS SASS! [grabs his hat angrily] I guess I'll just have to use my secret weapon then!

Kara: Secret weapon?

Ash: Here it comes!

Babs: Here what comes?

Clay: [drops his hat] [growls] Its power is on a whole different level than the rest of my Pokémon! You heard right! [takes out a PokéBall] I'm talking about Excadrill! [tosses the PokéBall] Let's get to work!

Excadrill: [appearing] EXCADRILL!

Babs: Whoahoho! [pulls out her Rotom Phone] What is that?

Babs' Rotom Phone: Excadrill, the Subterrene Pokémon. A Ground and Steel type. It can help in tunnel construction. Its drill has evolved into steel strong enough to bore through iron plates.

Goh: Dragon type attacks won't have much effect on Steel types like Excadrill! How's Kara gonna pull through this one?

Chloe: Flygon's a Ground type, so it's gotta know at least one Ground type move!

Kara: You honestly think your metal mole is gonna best my Flygon? Let's see it get out of a Sand Tomb! Do it, Flygon!

Flygon: [Sand Tomb move] FLY...GON!

Excadrill: EX? [falls in] CA!

Kara: Ha! Let's see you get out of that!

Clay: Excadrill, use the sand and use Dig!

Excadrill: [complies] EXCA! [Dig move] DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRILL!

Then, it burrowed its way out of the Sand Tomb!

Kara: Keep your guard up, Flygon! Who knows where Excadrill will pop up!

Flygon: [trying to find Excadrill] FLY! FLYGON!

Then...

Excadrill: [emerges from the ground] EXCA!

Kara: Behind you!

Clay: Use Drill Run!

Excadrill: EXCA! [Drill Run move] DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRILL!

Flygon: [pained] FLY!

Kara: Flygon! Use Dragon Claw!

Flygon: [Dragon Claw move] FLY...GON!

Excadrill: [hit] EXCADRILL!

Kara: Bullseye!

Clay: Use Rock Smash!

Excadrill: [Rock Smash move] EX...CADRILL!

Flygon: [pained] FLY!

Kara: Flygon, no!

Flygon: [weakened] FLYGON...

Kara: You can do this! Use Dragon Rush!

Flygon: [Dragon Rush move] FLY...GON!

Clay: Meet it head on with Drill Run!

Excadrill: EXCA! [Drill Run move] DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRILL!

Ash: Whoa! Look at that!

Pikachu: PIKA...

Babs: Now that's power!

Both attacks clashed against each other!

Jessica: That's some power!

Babs and Bianca: [while taking each other's hands; eyes sparkling] So cool!

Excadrill: [overpowers Flygon] EXCADRILL!

Flygon: [pained] FLY!

Kara: [gasps]

Clay: Finish this with Horn Drill!

Kara: HORN DRILL?!

And with that, he headed back into the gym!

She then hugged her soulmate and began to stroke his cheek!

Soon, they arrived at the docks where Danika and Quillon were waiting!

Soon, they boarded the boat and they set sail for Milos Island! Little did they know that they were being followed in a airship, smaller than Professor Amaranth's, by none other than the Matori Matrix!

Team Rocket Male Grunt: We have them in our sights, ma'am.

Matori: Excellent! Follow them! We'll wait until they've summoned the three Legendary Pokémon and then begin the capture!

Team Rocket Grunts: Ma'am!

Soon, our heroes had arrived at Milos Island!

Babs: It's okay!

Patrat: [sniffs Babs' hand]

Then, it started to imagine it and Babs as Batgirls on stakeouts and busting bad guys together!

She then brought out Patrat's PokéBall and opened it!

Babs: Introducing the new member of Team Bat! Patrat the lookout!

Petilil (multiple): [surrounding Jessica] PETILIL! PETILIL!

Chloe then took out her Rotom Phone!

Chloe's Rotom Phone: Petilil, the Bulb Pokémon. A Grass type. Since they prefer moist, nutrient-rich soil, the areas where Petilil live are known to be good for growing plants.

Chloe: They are kinda cute!

Eevee: [walks over to the Petilil] EEVEE VEE!

Chloe: Careful, Eevee! You don't want to scare them!

Eevee: EEVEE!

Jessica: Hello there!

Petilil (Multiple): [greeting] PETIL!

Ash: Looks like those Petilil like you!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Babs: Well, she does have a green thumb!

Then, the Petilil started rubbing up on Jessica with affection!

Petilil (multiple): [affectionate] PETILIL PETI!

Jessica: Aww! [giggles]

Serena: They're so sweet!

Then, some Cottonee and Whimsicott started gathering around Jessica! Some gathered around Zee as well!

Cottonee (multiple): COTTONEE COTTON!

Whimsicott (multiple): WHIMSI WHIMSICOTT!

Zee: Oh. Hello there!

Cottonee (multiple): [greeting] COTTONEE!

Whimsicott (multiple): [greeting] WHIMSICOTT!

Zee: [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Zee's Rotom Phone: Cottonee, the Cotton Puff Pokémon. A Grass and Fairy type. Weaving together the cotton of both Cottonee and Eldegoss produces exquisite cloth that's highly prized by many luxury brands. [changes to Whimsicott] Whimsicott, the Windveiled Pokémon. A Grass and Fairy type, and the evolved form of Cottonee. It rides on the wind and slips into people's homes. After it has turned a room into a cotton-filled mess, it giggles to itself and takes off.

Zee: They are kinda cute! [feels a Cottonee] Whoa! And they feel so soft and fluffy!

Jessica: [feels a Whimsicott] I know!

Then, some of the Cottonee started gathering underneath of Zee, sweeping her off her feet and making them look like a soft, fluffy cloud!

Zee: [surprised] Oh!

Surprisingly, the strength of each Cottonee combined was able lift Zee up by about one and a half feet!

Zee: Wow! You're all pretty strong!

Then, she started to lay back on them like she was laying on a soft, fluffy cloud!

Zee: [sighs in relaxation] It feels like I'm laying on a soft, fluffy cloud.

Ash: I bet you find Cottonee comfy, don't you, Zee?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Zee: [as the Cottonee brought her down] Absolutely, my dear!

Venipede: [multiple] VENIPEDE, VENI VENI!

Zee: Oh. And who are you lot? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Zee's Rotom Phone: Venipede, the Centipede Pokémon. A Bug and Poison type. Its fangs are highly venomous. If this Pokémon finds prey it thinks it can eat, it leaps for them without any thought of how things might turn out.

Zee: [a little nervous] You guys wouldn't bite me with those venomous fangs, would you?

Venipede: (multiple): [shake their heads; knowing she won't harm them] VENI!

Zee: Oh good.

Ash: It seems like they're harmless!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Zee: I see.

Goh: And… [takes out a PokéBall and tosses it] Go.

The PokéBall hit one of the Venipede and it got sucked into it! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Goh's Rotom Phone: Venipede has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Awesome!

Then, one very affectionate Petilil jumped up onto Jessica, making her fall onto her carcus and making one of her empty PokéBalls roll out of her one pocket!

Jessica: Whoa!

Petilil: [nuzzling against her; affectionate] PETILIL PETI!

Jessica: [giggles] Okay okay!

Serena: Aww! It really likes you!

Jessica: I can see that!

Jessica stood up and held Petilil in her arms!

Jessica: You really like me, don't you, Petilil?

Petilil: [happily nods] PETIL!

Then, it noticed Jessica's empty PokéBalls on the ground!

Petilil: [jumps down] PET!

Jessica: Huh?

Petilil: [taps the PokéBall] LIL!

Then, the Petilil got sucked into the PokéBall! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Karen: I guess that Petilil really wanted to be with you!

Ash: I agree!

Jessica smiled from this and opened Petilil's PokéBall!

Petilil: [goes over and hugs her leg] PETILIL!

Babs: [holding Patrat] Nice! You caught an evolution pair!

Goh: That's the idea when catching one of every kind of Pokémon!

Quillon: If you're all done playing around, we have a mission to accomplish.

Our heroes continued their trek through the woods! And soon, they came across Lewis's cabin!

Then, out came a young man with a certain Gothorita!

Jessica's Rotom Phone: Gothorita, the Manipulate Pokémon. A Psychic type, and the evolved form of Gothita. According to many old tales, it creates friends for itself by controlling sleeping children on starry nights.

Jessica: Well, I guess that's how it got categorized as the Manipulate Pokémon!

Gothita: [appearing on its own] GOTHITA!

Sam: [surprised] Oh! Gothita!

Gothita: [sees her evolved form] [eyes sparkle in awe] GOTHITA!

Gothorita: GOTH? GOTHORITA! [goes to Gothita]

Gothita: [greeting; excited] GOTHITA!

Gothorita: [happy] GOTHORITA!

Then, the two Psychic types shared a hug!

Alex: Aww! That's really sweet! They're bonding like siblings!

Danika: Well, Gothita does evolve into Gothorita!

Sam: So that's why she completely appeared on her own!

Ash: Almost reminds me of Oshawott!

As soon as he said that, Oshawott burst out of its PokéBall again!

Oshawott: [appearing] OSHAWOTT!

Zee: And speak of the devil!

Ash: Man, why do you keep doing that?!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Babs: Aww! What a little cutie!

Oshawott: OSHA?

Babs: [scoops up Oshawott and cuddles it] You've got to be the cutest little otter I've ever seen!

Oshawott: [happily hugs her back] OSHAWOTT!

Zee: Hi there, Oshawott! Good to see you again!

Oshawott: [happy to see Zee] [waves] OSHA!

Babs: Wait! You know Oshawott, Zee?

Zee: Of course! Ashy introduced me to the little cutie while we had detention!

Karen: Buizel? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Karen's Rotom Phone: Buizel, the Sea Weasel Pokémon. A Water type. It swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, its flotation sac collapses.

Zee: I didn't know you had a Buizel, darling?

Ash: Yep! Well actually, do you guys remember Dawn's Ambipom?

Zee: Oh yeah! Now that you mention it, [having a flashback] I do remember Dawn introducing me to her Ambipom the other day while I was on my way to perform at a birthday party! [flashback fades] Ambipom's contest skills are superb and it really entertained the children! Why do you ask?

Ash: Buizel used to belong to Dawn!

Zee: It did?

Zee's Sylveon: VEE?

Ash: Yeah! And Ambipom used to belong to me before it evolved! During my travels in Sinnoh back when Ambipom was an Aipom, Dawn's Buizel was more focused on battles instead of contests and vice versa with my Aipom! So, Dawn and I decided to trade Pokémon so I could have Buizel and Dawn could have Aipom! And then, Aipom learned a move called Double Hit and when we were trapped in some ancient pyramid full of Unown with Dawn's contest rival, Kenny, Aipom evolved into Ambipom!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Diana: Incredible!

Ash: Ever since then, Buizel and I went through thick and thin since our time in the Sinnoh Region! Isn't that right, Buizel?

Buizel: [agreeing] BUI BUI!

Jessica: That's amazing!

Zee: That's my Ashykins! Having a way with Pokémon!

She then hugged him and began to run her fingertips up and down his chest!

Ash: Long story short, Buizel, I have a harem now!

Ash: It means I have more than one girlfriend!

Zee's Rotom Phone: Lilligant, the Flowering Pokémon. A Grass type, and the evolved form of Petilil. Even veteran Trainers face a challenge in getting its beautiful flower to bloom. This Pokémon is popular with celebrities.

Zee: Wow! Does that Lilligant belong to you, Lewis?

Lewis: It sure does!

Lilligant: LILLI!

Zee: It's so beautiful!

Lilligant: [happy] [blushes] LILLIGANT!

Alex: You know! I heard that the essence of Lilligant makes great perfume!

Zee: Ooh, really now?

Alex: Yeah! Clover and I found out about it while we were at Metropolis Mall's Health and Beauty section! I believe that one perfume's name was Eau De Lilligant!

Babs: Ooooh! French!

Lewis: Anyway, please, have a seat!

Diana: [sips some tea] Do tell, Lewis, what more can you tell us about Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus?

Lewis: Well, Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus have been around here on Milos Island, providing the necessities we need for growing Revival Herbs! One reason why Milos Island is called "the Island of Legends"!

Babs: [eyes sparkling; excited] Island of Legends?! That even sounds cool!

Lewis: Indeed it is!

He then walked over to a shelf and pulled out a scroll, as he spread it across the table

Lewis: It all started long ago. The legend of Landorus, the Abundance Pokémon. In ancient times, Landorus got caught in the middle of a battle between savage Thundurus, the Bolt Strike Pokémon, and fierce Tornadus, the Cyclone Pokémon. So Landorus came between them to try to stop their fighting, but Landorus was horribly wounded as a result. Then, the inhabitants of the island used some Revival Herbs to heal Landorus' wounds. After regaining its strength, Landorus drove the battling Thundurus and Tornadus away. To thank the people who healed it, Landorus transformed the land into a fertile paradise. At least, that's how the legend goes.

Diana: And it's quite a legend indeed!

Ash: I know!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Lewis: The island has been at peace for a long time, ever since that disaster was over.

Zee: Disaster? What disaster?

Zee's Sylveon: VEON?

Ash: [gains a serious look] I remember that well! Team Rocket's scheme to capture the three Legendary Pokémon!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Zee: What?!

Ash: Yeah! Those three and a scientist, known as Dr. Zagar, were out to capture the three Legendary Pokémon! It was because of them that what happened many years ago happened again that day!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Serena: [shakes her head] Why am I not surprised?

Goh: Those three are the definition of trouble!

Clover: No argument there, Goh! For once.

Babs: [picks up a Revival Herb; examines it] Hmm... These things are really that bitter?

When Babs tasted it, her eyes widened with her tongue sticking out!

Babs: YUCKY! [wiping her tongue] Get it off! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!

Everyone: [chuckles]

Eevee: [sniffs the Revival Herb] EEVEE?

Chloe: Eevee, don't!

Eevee: [tastes it] VEE! [eyes widen; sticks its tongue out in disgust] EEVEE!

Chloe: Eevee, I said don't!

Bianca: It was too curious!

Eevee: [sticks her tongue out; disgusted] VEE!

Chloe: [picks her up; giggles] What am I going to do with you?

Eevee: [shakes its head to try and get rid of the taste] VEE.

Lewis: [notices Kubfu] I see you all have a Kubfu with you!

Kubfu: KUB!

Ash: Yeah!

Goh: Wait! How did you know about Kubfu?

Lewis: I've heard rumors about it before! They're known to be very rare!

Danika: You heard right! This Kubfu was our stowaway!

Lewis: Stowaway?

Ash: It was while they were on a mission in the Galar Region!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Goh: And it's looking for someone worthy to be its trainer!

Lewis: I see!

Bianca: Oh! Maybe I can be its trainer!

Ash: I wouldn't try catching it! It'll just use Brick Break on your PokéBall!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Bianca: Aw!

Serena: Ash, what about you?

Ash: I don't wanna take the chance!

Zee: Perhaps yours truly would be an excellent candidate!

However, one look at what Sylveon was wearing made Kubfu decline immediately!

Kubfu: [shakes its head] FU FU!

Ash: I think that's a no!

Kara: [to Zee; snickers] Probably thinks you're gonna dress it up like you did with Sylveon!

Zee: [offended] Hey! I would dress it in more manly attire than anything!

Zee's Sylveon: [agreeing] SYLVEON!

Ash: Well, you do have a sense of fashion, Zee!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Ash: And so does Serena! Especially since that time she dressed up as me when I was sick and battled in my place with rock-'n'-roll player who had a Pikachu too! And I think I remember Zee dressing up as me to see how it looked to be me!

Kara: Really? Huh.

Zee and Serena: Ash! That was supposed to be our little secret!

Ash: [gasps] [looks down in shame] Sorry, girls. Me and my big mouth.

Zee: Well, it's okay, darling! We'll let it slide!

Ash: [guilty] Thanks, Zee!

Serena: And besides, the only reason we did that is because we think you're amazing! So don't feel bad, sweetie! [kisses his cheek]

Lewis: Hmm, perhaps there is. Lemme check one of my new books.

Ash: Whoa! You have some new books, Lewis?

Lewis: Yes! One of them might contain some information on Enamorus!

Kara: Hey, alright! Now, we're gettin' somewhere!

While scrolling through the books, an ancient-looking one seemed to have caught Lewis' attention.

Lewis: Maybe this one!

He opened up the book and the pages depicted ancient illustrations of the Love-Hate Pokémon!

Lewis: This is it!

Babs: What's it say? What's it say?!

Ash: Relax, Babs! Let him read!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Danika: Go ahead, Lewis!

Lewis: Long ago, during ancient times in Hisui, Enamorus flew in from the north every year at the end of winter, bringing life-giving spring rains as it traveled across the sea. It is said that this rain and its unbounded love brought new growth to the frozen region. These spring rains were considered by all to be the official end of winter. Enamorus is also said to be temperamental when it came to the sanctity of life. If it witnesses a living thing being desecrated, it will bring down a wrathful storm onto the offenders as punishment. Though Enamorus commonly is depicted as humanoid in its Incarnate Forme, its true self, which is its Therian Forme, can be seen if one views it through a Reveal Glass. While its brothers are common figures in Unovan mythology, Enamorus is almost entirely absent from Unovan records altogether. Why it appeared to prefer Hisui is unknown, though some say its compassion led it to take on the duty of rescuing the region's inhabitants from their difficult winters each year.

Babs: [awed] Whoa!

Diana: Incredible!

Zee: [gasps in awe]

Kara: Now that's a story!

Jessica: Agreed!

Karen: What's a "Therian Forme"?

Ash: It's another form the Legendary Trio have! I found out about that when Team Rocket's boss, Giovanni, had plans to use Meloetta and her song to bring up an undersea temple and bring up the Reveal Glass, where Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus had revealed another form to them!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Lewis: [takes out a scroll and opens it] These are what their Therian Forms look like!

When the group saw the images...

Babs: [eyes sparkle; gasps excitedly]

Diana: Incredible! They certainly bring back memories from my homeland and the quests I took upon!

Ash: Really?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Diana: Indeed! Landorus' Therian Forme reminds me of a lion or tiger!

Ash: What about the others?

Diana: Thundurus seems to resemble a dragon and Tornadus an eagle!

Ash: Wow! I never knew that!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Babs: [looking at Enamorus' Therian Form] And Enamorus' looks like... A turtle?

Kara: Why does it look like a turtle?

Ash: That's the beauty of Pokémon! Every kind of Pokémon and their forms are a little different!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Kara: Well, I guess that's true!

Chloe: So, what do we do now?

Ash: I'm not sure! Maybe we should head over to the ruins to look further into this!

Diana: Agreed!

Quillon: [to Lewis] If you're able, lead us to these ruins, please.

Lewis: Of course! Follow me!

Everyone exited the cabin and began to journey towards the ruins, not knowing they were being watched by the Matori Matrix from their airship in camouflage mode!

The Woobat got sucked into the PokéBall and with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Goh's Rotom Phone: Woobat has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Alright!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY KEY!

Lewis: Anyway, let's head in!

Goh: Right!

Soon, they were in the ruins!

Lewis: Here we are!

Kara: Whoa!

Karen: Wow...

Diana: Incredible!

Ash: I'll say!

Pikachu: [awed] PIKA PIKA...

Lewis: Be careful! The ruins are said to be guarded by very powerful Pokémon!

Kara: Aw, I ain't scared of now powerful Pokémon! Lemme at 'em!

[low growling]

Karen: [nervous] W-W-Wh-Wh-What was that?!

Then, in came a certain Cave Pokémon!

Druddigon: DRUDDIGON!

Ash: A Druddigon!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Jessica: [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Jessica's Rotom Phone: Druddigon, the Cave Pokémon. A Dragon type. It races through narrow caves, using its sharp claws to catch prey. The skin on its face is harder than a rock.

Jessica: Is that one of the Pokémon guarding these ruins?

Lewis: It would appear so!

Kara: Alright, let me at this scale bait! [tosses PokéBall] Go, Flygon!

Flygon: [appearing] FLY!

Kara: Use Dragon Rush!

Flygon: [Dragon Rush move] FLY…GON!

Druddigon: [pained] DRUD!

Kara: Now use-

Druddigon: [Dragon Claw move] DRUDDIGON!

Flygon: [pained] GON!

Kara: Hey! You dirty rotten cheat! Flygon, show that cave lizard a real Dragon Claw!

Flygon: [Dragon Claw move] FLY…GON!

Druddigon: [pained] DRUD! [angry; red vein] DRUDDIGOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Ash: It's mad now!

Druddigon: [Flash Cannon move] DRUD...DIGON!

Flygon: [pained] FLY! [knocked down] [dazed; swirls in eyes] FLYGON...

Kara: [horrified] No, Flygon!

Chloe: It's so strong!

Kara: [returns Flygon; angry] You think you're so strong, huh?! I'll show you who's strong! Incineroar, get in th- [as Quillon sticks his arm in front of her] Huh?

Goh: Quillon?

Quillon: Let me handle this. [takes out a PokéBall and tosses it] Go, Urshifu!

Urshifu (Single Strike Style): [appearing] URSHIFU!

Kubfu: [awed] KUBFU!

Babs: [eyes sparkling with excitement] Whoa! So cool! [pulls out her Rotom Phone]

Babs' Rotom Phone: Urshifu, Single Strike Style, the Wushu Pokémon. A Fighting and Dark type, and the evolved form of Kubfu. Its goal is to win with one strike. It charges at its opponent's chest and strikes with its highly trained fists.

Quillon: Use Wicked Blow!

Urshifu (Single Strike Style): [Wicked Blow move] UR...SHIFU!

Druddigon: [pained] DRUD!

Quillon: Now use Close Combat!

Urshifu (Single Strike Style): [Close Combat move] URSHI...FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU!

Druddigon: [pained] DRUDDI!

Druddigon fell in defeat!

Goh: [tosses a PokéBall] PokéBall, go!

The PokéBall not Druddigon and it got sucked into it! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Goh's Rotom Phone: Druddigon has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Alright! I caught a Druddigon!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY KEY!

Babs: Nice one!

Quillon: [returns Urshifu] Excellent work, Urshifu!

Kubfu: [awed] KUBFU!

Lewis: Let's keep moving!

They continued onwards, until they reached outside, where four shrines for each of the Forces of Nature stood.

Everyone minus Danika, Quillon and Lewis: [gasps in awe]

Pikachu: [awed] PIKA...

Grookey: [awed] GROOKEY...

Eevee: [awed] EEVEE...

Diana: Incredible!

Goh: A shrine for each Force of Nature! Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and Enamorus!

Ash: Awesome!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Kara: Now I've seen everything!

Serena: So, now what do we do?

Jessica: [puzzled] You got me!

Lewis: We summon the Legendary Pokémon!

Babs: Yeah! ... But uh, how are we gonna do that?

Lewis: The three guardians of Milos Island will come if summoned by a Shrine Maiden!

Kara: Well, this rebel ain't playing that part! No way!

Danika: I figured you'd say that! Us girls, except for Kara, will draw straws to see who'll be the Shrine Maiden!

Jessica: That seems fair!

Diana: It is settled! Let us draw straws!

They did just that! Chloe had drawn the shortest!

Danika: Looks like Chloe gets to play shrine maiden!

Chloe: [nervous] M-M-Me?!

Danika: That's what I said!

Kara: [smirks; teasing] You're the shrine maiden, Chloe! You're gonna have to be sacrificed!

Chloe: [gulps nervously]

Quillon: Knock it off. She isn't going to be sacrificed.

Kara: Ah, I was only teasing!

Lewis: Don't worry, Chloe! It's completely safe! Gothorita will be there to help you!

Gothorita: [agreeing] GOTHORITA!

Chloe: [sighs in relief] Thank goodness. But will this summon Enamorus?

Lewis: I'm not sure. Shrine maidens were known to summon, Tornadus, Thundurus, and most of the time Landorus, but not Enamorus.

Zee: Well, lucky for you, you happen to have a lady [flips her hair] in magic!

Lewis: Really now?

Zee: Of course! I'll explain while Chloe changes!

Lewis: Very well then!

Soon enough, Chloe was dressed as a shrine maiden!

Grookey: [amazed] GROOKEY!

Pikachu: [amazed] PIKA!

Eevee: [amazed] EEVEE!

Gothorita: [presenting] GOTHORITA!

Chloe: [fidgets her dress a little] How do I look?

Zee: [clasps her hands] Gorgeous!

Ash: Yeah! You look great!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Goh: I agree!

Grookey: GROOKEY ROO!

Diana: I agree as well!

Chloe: [tints a blush] T-Thank you.

Bianca: [eyes sparkle] I still can't believe the seven of you are superheroes!

Ash: Just promise me you'll keep this secret?

Bianca: Ash, of course! One of the top priorities of being a superhero is that you've got to keep your identity [winks] a secret!

Ash: Thank you!

Diana: We appreciate it greatly!

Bianca: [to Babs] And I can't believe you're Batgirl, Babs! You'd make the perfect sidekick for Batman!

Babs: Oh, believe me, I WAS his sidekick! But only for a short time!

Babs: Two reasons! One, Robin was basically Batman's only friend! And two, I didn't want to leave my friends!

Bianca: [hugs her] Aww, Babs! That's so sweet of you!

Babs: Yeah! It sure was! Oh! [digs through her backpack] I've gotta show you this! [pulls out Batman's Batarang] Ta-da!

Bianca: Is that supposed to be one of Batman's Batarangs?

Babs: It sure is! It's genuine and used in combat! It's one of my most greatest treasures in my entire life!

Bianca: [eyes sparkle] So cool! How did you get that?!

Babs: I got it from my GBFF, Harleen! She got it for me as a present! And it's the best one ever! She's the best!

When Goh and Diana saw the Batarang, they looked at each other with gloomy looks, about who it was that really got the Batarang!

Grookey: [sad] GROOKEY KEY...

Ash: [noticing this] You two alright?

Pikachu: [concerned] PIKACHU?

Goh: [composing himself] Uh, yeah! All's good!

Diana smiled a bit and hugged her soulmate!

Diana: Indeed! Nothing to worry about, my love! [kisses his cheek]

Ash: Okay? [in his head] Goh and Diana are hiding something! They've been acting strangely ever since we came back from Gotham and Babs got that used-in-combat Batarang! I'll ask them when we're alone together once we get back to Metropolis!

Everything was set in place to summon the Legendary Pokémon! Lewis placed four stone spheres that were red, blue, black, and white around Gothorita!

Chloe: What are those?

Lewis: They're mysterious stones that increase Gothorita's power!

Chloe: Okay? And uh, what am I supposed to do?

Lewis: Simply pray for the Legendary Pokémon to come! I'm sure they will if they understand your request!

Chloe: [a little nervous] O-Okay.

Danika: [smiles reassuringly] Whenever you're ready, Chloe.

Then, Gothorita placed a reassuring hand in her leg!

Gothorita: [reassuring] GOTHOR GOTHORITA!

Chloe: [smiles determinedly] Okay! [places her hands together] Please, Guardians of Milos Island, accept our request and come to us.

Gothorita: [using her psychic power] GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTH...

Babs: [whispers] It's working.

The four mysterious stones started to levitate and glow!

Alex: Ooooooh. Pretty.

Chloe: We came here to find the three of you, but also help in finding your long lost sister! So, please! Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus! Please come to us and help us bring back Enamorus! I'm begging you!

Gothorita: [using her psychic power] GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOTHORITA, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!

Then, the mysterious stones burst and released flashes into the sky, creating a burst of yellow energy!

Jessica: Now what's happening?

Lewis: It's working!

Karen: Are they coming?

Ash: We're about to find out!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Then...

Tornadus: [appearing] TORNADUS!

Thundurus: [appearing] THUNDURUS!

Landorus: [appearing] LANDORUS!

Babs: [gasps deeply] [excited; eyes sparkle] EEEEEEEEE!

Diana: Great Hera!

Kara: I don't believe this!

Ash: Well, believe it!

Pikachu: [awed] PIKA PIKA...

Bianca: Wowie!

Zee: Amazing!

Karen: Whoa!

Jessica: Incredible!

Goh: I'll say!

Grookey: [awed] GROOKEY KEY...

Serena: Chloe, you did it! You summoned them!

Chloe: I... I guess I did!

Eevee: EEVEE!

Tornadus: TORNADUS!

Thundurus: THUNDURUS!

Kara: So... Do we start having a raid battle or...?

Zee came before the Legendary Trio and took a bow!

Zee: Pleasure to make your acquaintances, Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus! My name is Zee Zatara! [curtsies] It's an honor to be in your presence!

Zee's Sylveon: [bows] SYLVEON!

But instead of bowing back, the three Legendary Pokémon just held out their hands indicating that they were pleased to meet her, but are hoping for a handshake!

Zee: Oh! I see! [first shakes Tornadus' hand; smiles] A pleasure to meet you!

Tornadus: [kind] TORNADUS!

Zee: My, such good manners! [shakes Thundurus' hand] Thundurus!

Thundurus: [kind] THUNDURUS!

Zee: [shakes Landorus' hand] [curtsies] Landorus!

Landorus: [kind] LANDORUS!

Ash: [comes over to them] Tornadus! Thundurus! Landorus! It's good to see you three again!

Pikachu: [greeting] PIKA PIKACHU!

Tornadus: [pleased] TOR!

Thundurus: [pleased] THUN!

Landorus: [pleased] LAND!

Ash: This is Zee! She's one of my girlfriends!

That got the three Pokémon intrigued! Then, Serena, Diana and Sam came over!

Ash: And these are Sam, Serena and Diana! They're my girlfriends too!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Zee: [hugs his arm] Indeed!

Sam: [pulls out her com-powder] Do you three mind if I take some pictures of you? I wanna take as much as I can to send to my boss about the many different Pokémon I meet and encounter!

Thundurus: [saying "It would be our pleasure!"] THUNDURUS THUN THUN!

Then, the three Pokémon started posing!

Landorus: [flexes] LANDORUS!

Thundurus: [flexes] THUNDURUS!

Tornadus: [flexes] TORNADUS!

Bianca: EEEEE! So strong!

Sam: [takes the photos]

Babs: [takes photos]

Jessica: You're getting involved too?

Babs: I can't help it! They're just so awesome!

Jessica: You really have a type!

Soon, they were done taking pictures!

Sam: These turned out perfect! Thanks!

Tornadus: [nods] TORN!

Thundurus: [nods] THUNDUR!

Landorus: [nods] LAND!

Zee: Now then, you three! Whaddya say we get started with summoning your sister, Enamorus?

Tornadus: [gasps] [saying "You're capable of getting our sister back?!"] TORNA?!

Zee: Of course! [pulls out her wand and spellbook] If I can find just the right spell!

Ash: Huh? You brought those with you?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Zee: Of course, darling! I figured something like this would [boop his nose with her wand] happen! So, I brought these along! [opens her spellbook] Now, if I can find just the right spell! [flips through it] Summoning dragons. [while flipping through more pages] No! Summoning evil spirits. [while flipping through more pages] Hard pass! Summoning an immortal succubus? [ponders for a minute] [while flipping through more pages] Maybe another time! [finds the page] Aha! Here it is! Summoning a long lost Legendary Pokémon!

Ash: You, Zee Zee, are a magical genius!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Zee: Naturally! And aww!

She then kissed him on the cheek and left a lipstick mark.

Zee: You're still always so sweet!

Ash: [blushes] I try! Whenever you're ready, just say the magic words! Literally!

Zee: Right! Just gotta read the spell first! [hands Tornadus the open spellbook with the pages for the spell facing her] Would you mind holding this for a minute, Tornadus dear?

Tornadus: [shakes his head] NADUS!

Zee: Thank you! Now, let's see here...

Zee began to focus her magic as her eyes glowed magenta!
Zee: [chanting the spell] Gnirb htrof eht gnol tsol retsis fo eht Secrof fo Erutan! ["Bring forth the long lost sister of the Forces of Nature" in reverse]

Then, a surge of magenta energy occurred, and a silhouette of what seemed to be a Pokémon appeared in the sky!

Babs: Is that it? Is that... Enamorus?

Goh: Could it be…?

Enamorus: ENAM…ENAMORUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS!

Ash: It's Enamorus! In person!

Pikachu: [awed] PIKA PIKACHU…

Matori: And let's not forget all the regular kinds of Pokémon too! Or do you not recall that on our last encounter when you were finding a gigantic Magikarp?

Jessica's Rotom Phone: Skuntank, the Skunk Pokémon. A Poison and Dark type, and the evolved form of Stunky. It attacks by spraying a horribly smelly fluid from the tip of its tail. Attacks from above confound it.

Jessica: That's just foul!

Zee: [gags] Disgusting!

Babs' Rotom Phone: Toxicroak, the Toxic Mouth Pokémon. A Poison and Fighting type, and the evolved form of Croagunk. The toxin made in its poison sacs is pumped to the knuckle claws through tubes down its arms.

Babs: You mean Croagunk evolves into that?!

Ash: It does!

Karen: [scared] No offense to Brock, but I hope his Croagunk never evolves!

Clover: [nervous] Yeah, same here!

Kara's Rotom Phone: Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. A Steel and Rock type. Aggron has a horn sharp enough to perforate thick iron sheets. It brings down its opponents by ramming into them horn first.

Kara: Now that's my kind of Pokémon!

Quillon: Quick gawking and focus!

Ash: Look like you're out of your league, Matori! Because you're dealing with the Pokémon Master and his merry crew! Let's bring it, team!

Luxray: [angrily agrees] LUXRAY!

The Matori Matrix retreated to their airship and flew away!

She then hugged him and began to run her finger tips up and down his chest!

Ash: [blushes] [giggles]

Then, the Legendary Pokémon came over to the group!

Lewis: I'm glad to see that you four are alright!

Ash: Me too!

Kara: So, is it raid time or...?

But instead of getting into battle position, the Legendary Pokémon were accepting to come with them!

Chloe: What are they doing?

Eevee: EEVEE?

Ash: Whaddya think? [to the Pokémon] You want us to catch you, right?

Tornadus: [nods] TORNADUS!

Thundurus: [nods] THUNDURUS!

Landorus: [nods] LANDORUS!

Enamorus: [nods] ENAMORUS!

Ash: [to Goh and the Chasers] Go ahead, you guys!

Goh: Okay then! [pulls out a PokéBall] I'll catch Landorus!

Quillon: [takes out a PokéBall] I'll catch Thundurus.

Danika: [takes out a PokéBall] That leaves me with Tornadus!

Quillon: [tosses the PokéBall] [grunts]

Goh: [tosses his PokéBall] PokéBall, go!

Danika: [tosses her PokéBall] HYAH!

All three PokéBalls hit the Legendary Pokémon and were sucked into them! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Danika's Rotom Phone: Tornadus has been registered to your Pokédex!

Quillon's Rotom Phone: Thundurus has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh's Rotom Phone: Landorus has been registered to your Pokédex!

Goh: Alright! I caught Landorus!

Danika: Tornadus has been secured!

Quillon: So has Thundurus!

Serena: But what about Enamorus?

Ash: I think Emamorus already found its trainer!

And he was right! Enamorus was showing affection towards Zee by hugging her and nuzzling cheeks with her!

Zee: [giggles]

Goh: [blinks] Enamorus wants to be caught by Zee?!

Danika: It would seem that way!

Zee: [surprised] [to Enamorus] Enamorus... You want me to catch you?

Enamorus: [affirmative] ENAM!

Ash: [kisses her on the lips] You've got this, Zee! If anyone's worthy of catching a Legendary Pokémon, it's you! The greatest and most beautiful magician of all time!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Zee: Alright then! I'd love to have you as part of my team!

Zee's Sylveon: [welcoming] SYLVEON! VEON!

Zee: [pulls out a PokéBall] Now, time for the catch! [stops for a minute and looks at the PokéBall] Hold that thought! I think a Pokémon like this should be in something much more luxurious! [puts the PokéBall back and pulls out a certain kind of Black PokéBall] Ta-dah!

Ash: [gasps] A Luxury Ball!

Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!

Goh: How'd you manage to get that?

Grookey: GROOKEY?

Zee: I purchased it on the fly!

Ash: [to Danika and Quillon] You two are okay with this, right?

Danika: As long as she shows it to Professor Amaranth!

Zee: You have my word!

Danika: Then, go for it!

Zee: [tosses the Luxury Ball] Go, Luxury Ball!

Jessica: But once we get back to Metropolis, why don't we take a dip in our private hot spring?

Zee opened up the Luxury Ball and out came Enamorus!

Then, the separated while having half-lidded eye expressions on their faces!

Danika saw this and chuckled!

Jessica: You know, Danika! I know of a jock at our school that would love your strict and serious attitude that can whip him into shape and knock him down a few pegs?

Ash and Serena grinned from this!

Jessica: Hal's hero name is Green Lantern like me! It's complicated, but you could probably tell who's the guy and who's the girl!

Ash: [comes over to them] Not only that, but one of my girlfriends, Carol, used to date him!

Ash: That was, until he broke up with her! Over text!

Ash: Yep! But that's not the worst part! He broke up with her on Valentine's Day!

Ash: It's true! Carol's hero name is Star Sapphire, and she's a member of the Violet Lantern Corps! She used to be evil, partly because Hal broke her heart and never considered how she felt! But now, after a change of heart because of me, she's now a good guy... Er, I mean "girl"! You know what I mean! I was more than willing to treat her with the respect and love she deserves that Hal never bothered to give her!

Jessica: And I figured, with your strict and serious attitude, maybe you could be the one to be his new girlfriend and whip him into shape to be a proper gentleman and give women the respect they deserve! That's only if you want to? I'm not gonna force you to do something you probably wouldn't want to do, but it's just a suggestion for you if you're interested!

Danika: Hmm... Perhaps! But I might need some time to think about this!

With Babs, she was praising her Lycanroc, Swoobat, Scizor, and Hawlucha!

Patrat: [salutes] [saying "Reporting for duty, ma'am!"] PATRAT PAT PAT PATRAT!

Babs: That's what I like to hear!

Ace Jr. came towards Patrat!

Patrat: PAT?

Then, it patted Patrat on the head!

Patrat: [smiles] TRAT!

Babs: Now, once we head home, Patrat, you'll get to try one of Metropolis' most popular desserts at Sweet Justice!

Patrat: [eyes sparkle with excitement] PATRA!

Babs: I know!

Babs began to hug Ace Jr. and snuggle with him!

Babs: And as for you, AJ, you're mama's good boy! [scratches his chin] Who's my big strong wolfy boy? You are! Yes you are!

Ace Jr. was really enjoying himself with the attention, but he only showed a small amount of it! Kubfu couldn't help but smile at how Babs treated her Pokémon!

Babs: Hey, Kubfu! I wanted to thank you for helping us out back there and fighting alongside me! You were amazing and strong too!

Kubfu: [smiles; places its paws on its hips in pride] KUBFU KUB!

Babs: Say, Kubfu? How would you like to join up with Team Bat?

Kubfu: FU?

Babs: You'd be fighting bad guys and training and doing all sorts of things!

Kubfu: [gasps] KUBFU…

Babs: Plus, whenever you need a break, you can have all the sweets and treats you could ever want!

Kubfu: KUB…

It thought about this and remembered how Babs was being like a true leader! Perhaps Kubfu had found someone worthy to be its trainer! That was when Kubfu pointed at Babs indicating that it chooses her to be its trainer!

Kubfu: KUBFU!

Babs: Really? Ya mean it? You'll tag along with me?

Kubfu: [nods] KUB!

Babs: Awesome!

Ash: Babs, what's going on?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Babs: Kubfu's gonna join up with Team Bat!

Ash: [excited] Really?! Awesome!

Danika: Looks like Kubfu has found its trainer!

Serena: And it's Babs!

Kara: It chose Babs and not me?! [groans] Unbelievable.

Babs took out a PokéBall and narrowed her eyes!

The PokéBall flew up into the air!

Babs: EEEE! I CAUGHT A KUBFU!

Swoobat: [happy] SWOOBAT!

Ash: Congratulations, Babs!

Babs: Thanks, Ash! [opens Kubfu's PokéBall]

Babs: Kubfu, when we get back to Metropolis, you and I are gonna do some special training! Whaddya say?

Bianca: Speaking of Metropolis, Ash! Is it alright if I come along with you and your friends back to Metropolis?

Ash: Sure thing, Bianca! We'd love for you to come!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Jessica: You can even join our team! As long as you swear to secrecy!

Bianca: [excited] Really?! Of course! Plus, there was something I wanted to give Ash for a long time now!

Ash: Huh? What's that? [Bianca kisses Ash on the lips, much to his surprise] MMPH!

Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA!

The others were both shocked and amazed by this!

Danika: Oh my!

Then, Ash and Bianca released!

Ash: [blushing] Bianca!

Bianca: That was something I wanted to do! Because even though you were young back then, I still had a crush on you!

Ash: Bianca, I honestly have these feelings for you as well!

That made Bianca smile! Then, she gave Ash a hug! A boobhug to be precise!

Goh: It was a success! Even though we had some slight complications with a run-in with Team Rocket's Matori Matrix! And we met Enamorus!

Zee: And I happen to have caught it!

Zee's Sylveon: SYLVEON!

Professor Amaranth: Really now? Let's see it!

Zee: [takes out a Luxury Ball; opens it] Come out, Enamorus!

Enamorus: [appearing] ENAMORUS!

Professor Juniper: Incredible! So that's the Legendary Enamorus!

Professor Amaranth: Magnificent!

Zee: Indeed! Just like moi!

Zee's Sylveon: [agreeing] SYLVEON!

Danika: Me, Goh, and Quillon were able to catch Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus!

Professor Amaranth: Excellent!

Zee: Professor, if it's alright with you, would I be able to keep Enamorus? We've become good friends!

Professor Amaranth: I don't see why not! Enamorus is yours to keep, Miss Zatara!

Zee: Oh, thank you, Professor Amaranth! Thank you!

Kara: So... Now what?

Ash: I think it's time we head to Metropolis!

Diana: Agreed! Let us return home!

Bianca: Oh, that's right! [to Juniper] Professor, I'm gonna be going with them to Metropolis! Is that okay?

Professor Amaranth: Follow me, everyone! It's back to Metropolis!

[pulls out there PokéBalls] Normally, I do this for beginning trainers, but today, I'll make an exception! I wanna give three of you Superhero Girls one of our starter Pokémon! [tosses them] And here they are!

Tepig: [appearing] [happy] TEPIG!

Oshawott: [appearing] OSHAWOTT!

Snivy (Male): [appearing] SNIVY!

Babs: [excited] EEE! CUTIES!

Professor Juniper: First up, we have Tepig, a Fire type!

Tepig: [happy] TEP!

Professor Juniper: Next, we have Oshawott, a Water type!

Oshawott: [smiles] OSHAWOTT!

Professor Juniper: And lastly, we have Snivy, a Grass type!

Snivy (Male): SNIVY!

Diana: Incredible!

Jessica: We can choose one?

Professor Juniper: Of course!

Kara: [deciding] Hmmmmm... Which one to choose?

Out of the three Pokémon there, one in particular was a lively one and ready for anything!

Tepig: TEPIG!

Ash: You know, sis! Since you're always eager, lively and always ready to fight, why don't you choose that Tepig to match your personality!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Kara: Huh?

Tepig: [jumps into her arms] TEPIG! [licks her affectionately] TEPIG TEP TEPIG!

Kara: [laughs] Hey! Come on now! Cut that out! That tickles!

Tepig: [smiles] TEPIG!

Kara: [smiles] Well, you are kinda cute for a little fiery porker like you! But let's see how tough you are! Hit me in the face with your best Fire type move!

Tepig: TEP?

Kara: Don't worry! You'd be surprised at the kind of human I am! Trust me! Hit me in the face when ready!

Tepig: [complies] TEP! [Ember move] TE...PIG!

After that, Kara only had small burnt marks, but she was unfazed by it!

Tepig: TEPIG?

Kara: Yeah! Didn't even hurt! Because I'm a Kryptonian! I got super-skin!

Tepig: [awed] TEP...

Kara: I know! But still! That Ember was pretty strong! You're pretty good for a little porker like you!

Tepig: [smiles] TEPIG!

Kara: How'd you like to join up with me, Tepig?

Tepig: [nods eagerly] TEPIG TEP!

Kara: Okay then, Tepig! I choose you!

Tepig: [happy] TEP TEPIG!

Diana got a glimpse of Oshawott and the Sea Otter Pokémon saw a chance to show off its skills with its scalchop!

Oshawott: OSHAWOTT!

Diana: Hm?

Oshawott: [takes off its scalchop] OSHA. [Razor Shell move] [swings its scalchop around] OSHAWOTT WOTT! OSHAWOTT! OSHA...WOTT!

Diana: My word! Excellent swordsmanship! You would make a fine warrior!

Oshawott: [smiles proudly] OSHAWOTT!

Diana: Do you wish to join forces with me and become my ally?

Oshawott: [goes over to her and hugs her leg] [smiles and nods] OSHA!

Diana: Very well! I choose you!

Oshawott: [happy] OSHAWOTT!

With Snivy, one look at Jessica and it sensed that she had a thing for Grass type Pokémon!

Snivy (Male): SNI?

Jessica: You might not know this, but I am known for having a green thumb!

Snivy (Male): SNIVY?

Jessica: If you want, you and I can be partners? If that's okay with you?

Snivy smiled and extended a Vine Whip towards her!

Snivy: [accepting] SNIVY!

Jessica: [smiles] [shakes the vine] Wonderful!

Professor Juniper: Seems you three made your choices!

Diana: [picks up Oshawott] Indeed! Many thanks, Professor!

Professor Juniper: My pleasure! [hands the three girls the Pokémon's PokéBalls] You'll need Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott's PokéBalls!

Jessica: [as she, Diana and Kara take the PokéBalls] Thank you!

Professor Juniper: And please, feel free to come back and visit the Unova Region any time!

Jessica: We will!

And with that, they boarded the airship and it took off back to Metropolis! Zee was currently holding the Luxury Ball and smiling in delight!

Zee: I can't believe I caught me a Legendary Pokémon! Just like my darling did!

Zee's Sylveon: SYLVE!

Ash: I know! [wraps an arm around her] I'm so proud of you, Zee Zee!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!

Zee: Aww, thank you, dearest! [kisses his cheek] Mwah!

Ash: But you're gonna have to use it only while you're Zatanna!

Zee: Of course, darling! I wouldn't use it while I'm Zee Zatara, the most popular girl in school!

With Jessica and Karen, they were with Professor Amaranth, Quillon and Danika!

Jessica: Say, Professor? If you plan to stick around for some time, and if we get our cranky Principal Chapin to allow it, would you like to be a teacher at Metropolis High for awhile? You can teach the students there all about Pokémon and the many mysterious things about them!

Karen: That sounds like a good idea. That is, if you want to, Professor?

Professor Amaranth: Hmmm. Teaching students about the wonderful world of Pokémon is quite an intriguing idea! Maybe I should! And Danika and Quillon can be my assistants!

Danika: I don't see anything wrong with that!

Quillon: I suppose I could do that!

Jessica: But uh, word of warning if you do teach at our school! Watch out for Damian, Doris and Leslie! They're bound to try anything to get on your nerves!

Danika: Oh, don't worry! I think we can handle them!

Karen: I don't think you understand! Damian, his girlfriend, Doris, and Leslie are known for being troublemakers in the school! All three of them are bullies! One wrong move and they'll treat you like trash and your Pokémon lessons like a joke! [rubs her arm] And they always pick on me.

Danika: Well, if they do that, they you can come to me and Quillon and I will knock some sense into them that they'll be afraid of us more than you would be afraid of them!

Quillon: [nods in agreement]

Karen: Really? You'd do that?

Danika: Of course! You've had Goh's back, now we've got yours!

That made Karen so happy that she hugged Danika as if she was like her big sister!

Karen: Thank you, Danika! You don't know how much this means to me!

Danika just smiled, hugged her back and stroked Karen's poofy and curly hair! Soon, they arrived back in Metropolis, but they were in the forest just a bit away from the heroes' private hot spring!

Zee: Back in the forest just outside of Metropolis!

Danika: So, you gonna show us this hot spring or what?

Zee: We will! But first, you and Quillon wouldn't happen to have swimsuits on you, would you?

Danika: We do!

Zee: You might wanna change into them for this! [to Bianca] That goes for you too, Bianca!

Bianca: Okay!

Soon, everyone, minus Professor Amaranth had changed into their swimwear and were now at and in the hot spring!

The four Legendary Pokémon joined in as well!

Danika: [relaxed] Wow. You guys were right. This little sensation DOES make you feel like your troubles are just melting away!
