Gray and Juvia-Chapter 2

After following Natsu and Lucy to ensure that they made it home safely, the two wizards returned to Erza's room where they overheard the plan. Sighing, they started walking back to their hotel. At this point it was late and although he walked next to Juvia, he was still shy about touching her or even holding her hand. She didn't seem to mind as she walked close to him with a gentle smile on her face. He couldn't quite put a finger on it but he felt uneasy as though he was being followed. Gently he reached out and touched her hand as he slightly increased their pace.

"Gra.."

"Quiet!" He hissed as he tightened his fingers around her hand. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out. Gray froze, his eyes widening as a bullet came whistling through the air and went through Juvia. He sighed with relief since she was the worst person to shoot as her body was completely made from water. Her beautiful midnight eyes widened as she felt the bullet fly through her body; however, there was no pain as it literally passed through her and embedded in a sign a few feet away.

Juvia immediate looked to where the bullet most likely came from but she couldn't see who fired the gun. She was worried because it was obvious that she was a wizard. She sighed with relief since they fired at her instead of her precious Gray. The bullet had hit her around her heart area so with Gray, most likely it would have killed him instantly.

"Gray darling, we should get off the streets. We are too exposed here and we don't have Natsu's or Wendy's scent ability." Juvia said quietly fear entering her voice.

Gray growled as his eyes scanned the air from where he was but he couldn't see anything.

"The one time I need flame brain!" He growled but he turned and grabbed Juvia's hand as they rushed through the streets. They sighed with relief when they were able to get back into their hotel room.

"I think we should move now." Gray said quietly. Closing the blinds, they packed up and quickly moved to another room a few floors below. Gray immediately went to the window and glanced out.

"Do you see anyone, Darling?" Juvia asked quietly as she went to the window.

"I think I might on the opposite building but it's too dark to be sure."

She moved to the window, close to Gray to where she could feel the cold coming off of him. Her heart started beating quickly but her focus was on the building outside. She couldn't see what it was for sure but there was something on the building across from their hotel. Fear touched her heart at the thought of them being hunted but a man who has already killed.

Gray froze literally when Juvia came to the window to look out. He turned and truly focused on her. She was beautiful he thought as her eyes remained on the opposite building.

"Why follow and attack us?" She asked as they closed the blinds and she turned to face Gray.

"Maybe because we were last." He wondered as he moved away from the window and sat on the bed.

Sighing and exhausted she glanced at him but the thought of sleeping next to him caused her cheeks to turn crimson as her imagination started running crazy.

"I'm going to go get ready for bed," the real Gray said as he glanced at her in exasperation. Geez couldn't she focus for more than five minutes, he thought as he moved into the bathroom. Worrisome thoughts ran through his mind like how did the shooter know where they were and did he know that bullets wouldn't hurt Juvia? Walking out into the main room, his eyes went to the bed then to the floor on the left side of the bed where Juvia currently was located. Juvia was rifling through her bags looking for objects that she would need for bed. Glancing up, her eyes widened as she watched Gray return. As normal, he removed the suit and he was dressed in only boxers. A look she had seen often but it caused her heart to beat even faster as they would be sharing a bed.

"G..Gray your…your clothes." She squeaked out as her cheeks darkened even more.

"I…uhh…well normally sleep naked." He said with a hand behind his head and red darkening his cheeks as well.

"JUVIE!" She squeaked even louder as she grabbed her clothes and ran into the bathroom.

Returning she sighed as she saw Gray was already in the bed. Her eyes went around the room, wondering where she should sleep. She knew they said they would share the bed but she didn't want to climb in uninvited.

"Y….you should join me." Gray said quietly.

"Juvie!" She squealed again as she moved towards the bed. Lying in the bed, she laid on her side away from him, crimson on her cheeks and her heart pounding. Although they had lived together for six months and shared a bed, they never participated in any type of romantic actions. She felt him move in the bed and her heart pounded even faster when she felt him against her. 'Gray's touching me!' She thought to herself. Although it took a few minutes to calm her heart, she eventually fell asleep.

A little while later, she woke up cold. Her head was on something hard and something cold was intertwined with her hand. Another cold slab was against her back holding her down. For a second she wiggled and fear clutched her heart until she remembered where she was and realized her head was on Gray's chest with his arm around her back and her hand held in his. Blinking her eyes opened she moved her head side and red covered her face as she realized Gray had moved closer to her than the other way around. 'He wanted to be closer to me?' She wondered in surprise, as she knew suddenly that he was wake since she kept wiggling.

"Uhhh…" He whispered as Juvia shifted again trying to get more comfortable.

"I know I'm cold."

"Yes but…I'm used to it and well I like your cold." She whispered as she moved her head to look into his navy blue eyes. She smiled gently into his eyes. She could feel his heart starting to beat quickly as their eyes remained locked.

"Juvia." He whispered as their eyes clashed. The memory of their hot make out session rose into his mind as his eyes remained on hers. Dark blue and midnight held together as Gray moved slowly. She followed his movements until she laid on her back with Gray laying over her. He stared at her intently as her eyes remained large staring at him with hope and love. Gently, he touched her face and she tilted hers as his lips came down and touched hers gently. His heart was beating so quickly and doubt was starting to find it's way into his heart. He pushed it out of his mind as he started running his hands down her body. She gasped and he increased the pressure as heat found its way through his veins and pooled in his lower region.

"Of course, I am water after all."

Gray had felt regret starting to take root inside of him but at this news, he felt a weight drop off of his shoulders. He leaned down and kissed her lightly on the lips. He settled down and pulled her against him.

"I love you, Gray." Juvia whispered silently.

He tightened his arms around her. She smiled slightly disappointed but as her eyes were closing, she felt him lower his face closer to hers and she heard him whisper, "I love you too, just give me some more time my dear Juvia."

"Always." She whispered back before falling into a deep sleep with a smile on her face and Gray wrapped completely around her.
