Now let's get into this chapter.

Aurora (POV)

I were standing on a beach somewhere watching the waves wash up onto the rocky beach, the beach was littered by broke pieces of planks and a single torn piece of cloth from a sail which were washed up to shore, it were still half floating in the waves as half of it were caught onto a piece of rock, I looked down to see my human hands covered in blood and a bite mark on my thigh which was oozing a light blue liquid.

I couldn't feel anything as I stood there, alone on the beach...

A sudden feeling overcame me as I turned around and saw a purplish blue dragoness with silver under scales and silver horns standing on top of a large protruding boulder watching the sun rise above the distant horizon, her gaze shifted over to me for a brief moment, a sad smile on her face as she started to speak.

"Time to awake from your dreams, spread your wings and enjoy what you have…"

Everything suddenly started to fade away as I started to awaken from my dream.

I slowly began to become aware of something trying to wake me up, something small which was nudging my head.

I moaned softly as I slowly started to open my eyes to see a pair of violet eyes staring back at me.

"Mhmm…?" I slowly lifted my head to look up toward the window to see that it was still very early.

"It's too early dear… " I heard Shimmer sigh as he opened his eyes also.

"Seems like we chose the appropriate name for her" He mumbled as he turned his head to look at Dawn.

"I hoped that it wouldn't be that literal…" I moaned softly as Dawn decided to jump onto my back.

"Silverwing did the same sometimes, but grew out of it over time…" He lifted his head up to look around for a bit.

"Seems like she left early again"

Dawn jumped over onto Shimmer's back causing him to nearly jump up in surprise.

I giggled softly as I saw his reaction.

"I guess she wants to play" I sat up just as I heard something on the roof and then a soft knock on the door a moment later as Dawn jumped onto Shimmer's head and then down to the floor where she looked up to the door before she continued to run around.

"Yes?" Shimmer asked as he made his way over to the door.

"Oh, Morning Dracon" I heard Shimmer say just as I looked up to see Dracon standing in the doorway…

Draconigen (POV)

I have been exploring the Village in the early morning hours while most of the residents were still asleep, only a few early morning residence walking around, I have asked Gobber earlier if I could work in his forge later in the day, he were reluctant at first but after a bit of convincing, granted me access to the forge.

From there I just continued to explore Berk while encountering a few of the local dragons and one or two of the other residents who I didn't really care to meet.

I soon came upon the house Shimmer and Aurora are currently living in.

I noticed Silverwing sitting on the roof watching me approach, she was a bit bigger than the first time I saw her.

I softly knocked on the door and waited for a bit, I could hear Dawn were awake which means that the other two should also be awake.

"Yes?" Shimmer's voice sounded a moment before he opened the door.

"Oh, Morning Dracon"

"Morning to you too, how are you two fairing?"

notices a very lively purple dragonnet running around

Shimmer gave me a tired expression

"Not too bad I guess, she is a lively one…"

He moved aside for me where I could see both Aurora and Dawn playing.

Dawn suddenly stopped running around when she saw me.

"Hello little Dawn" I quickly looked up toward Aurora "Morning Aurora, I see you two are having fun"

"Oh yeah, She has been awake since dawn"

Aurora laughed at the ironic little joke.

"I can see you two chose an appropriate name for her…"

I was surprised when Dawn attempted to jump onto me forcing me to catch her, I now stood there holding Dawn who in turn were staring at me strangely.

Shimmer gave me and Dawn an amused look.

I gently placed Dawn back down.

"That was a bit strange…"

"Which part?" Shimmer questioned as he closed the door, "Suddenly jumping at you or the strange staring eyes" He finished

"Both honestly, but I guess I'm perhaps to blame, I did in a way promise her that we will meet again soon, but I guess more than that have slipped through"

I mumbled the last part of the sentence as I looked down toward Dawn, her violet eyes showing something more than normal.

"Promise her… You…?" Aurora gave me an confused expression

Shimmer was also confused but did not say anything as he gave Dawn a soft nudge.

"I have come here to tell you that I will be departing soon, I need to continue my search elsewhere"

I quickly reached into one of my belt pockets and extracted two silver amulets which looked to be smaller versions of the one I'm currently wearing.

"I will be staying around for a few days longer" I held out the amulet's over toward Shimmer and Aurora.

Aurora took the one amulet, carefully handling it as she inspected it.

"What are these for?" Shimmer questioned as he gave the remaining one a thoughtful look.

"It's a small gift, something to keep in touch with" I smiled as I handed it over to Shimmer. I crouched down toward Dawn who was mesmerised by the shiny amulet in Aurora's grasp, she turned to look at me.

"I also have a small gift for you little one"

I gently took Dawn's left arm in my hand and put my other hand over her arm as I whispered.

"A blessing..." I softly started to whisper as a soft blue light started to shine under my hand.

I slowly let go of Dawn's arm revealing an elegant silver and purple bracelet with a few Nordic runes etched upon its surface with a small Triquetra in the centre of the Bracelet.

Dawn was silent for a moment as she stared at the bracelet, she slowly looked up toward me.

"Thank you" She said in a sweet voice which surprised both Aurora and Shimmer who were still watching.

I smiled as she spoke

"Your welcome"

"What did you do?" Shimmer Questioned, giving the bracelet a look of wonder.

"A blessing and a gift to keep her safe along with other things"

I got back up to my feet as I got ready to leave.

"The amulet's are more than they appear to be, but that will be for a later date"

I quickly made my leave as I exited the house leaving them alone as I made my way over to the forest.

Shimmer (PoV)

Dracon left us confused as always, I was standing there holding the strange silver amulet which felt strange, almost as if it's emitting some sort of energy.

I looked over toward Aurora who had already put the amulet around her neck which had somehow taken on a strangely similar shade of green as that of her scales.

"He is one confusigly mysterious fellow" Aurora mumbled as she noticed me staring at her.

"Aren't we all?" I half heartedly joked as I put the amulet around my neck causing it to also take on a blue coloration.

"Magic…" I mumbled in a slightly exasperated tone.

"It's not all bad, I actually like the gift" Aurora said as she gently poked the amulet around my neck

"I guess you're right" I gave her a smile, I noticed something different in her expression today which I can't figure out what it might be.

"let's get out of this… place for a bit, maybe go take a walk and explore the rest of the Village or what do you...?"

Aurora said as she made her way over to the door

"I guess, but what of Dawn?"

I looked down toward Dawn who in turn was also looking at me.

"Take her along of course, it won't do no good to stay inside the whole day, even if it's cold outside"

She opened the door and slipped outside.

"Well then… let us be off…" Dawn quickly followed Aurora to which I followed her, I noticed that there were already a few people out and about.

Dawn was evidently enjoying herself in the snow as she continued to dive around in the mounds of snow.

Aurora was silently watching Dawn with a cheerful expression.

I was transfixed upon her for a long moment, watching her being happy…

My long silence was finally broken when I heard the sound of crunching snow as someone came walking over.

I looked over toward the source of the sound to see Valka walking closer.

"Good morning Valka, What brings you this fine morning?"

I noticed Cloudjumper were standing nearby.

"Oh, nothing much, just came to check up on you lot"

She looked over toward Aurora and Dawn who had flung some snow over toward Aurora.

"She is quite a beautiful dragoness… you two will make quite a match, and perhaps more" Valka said as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, she sure... " I paused as I realised what Valka said

"...Wait… You're talking about Aurora and…"

I gave Valka a surprised look.

"W-what gave you that idea…?" I could feel the blood rushing to my face.

"The way you two stare at each other is a dead giveaway, I can see you two like each other"

Valka gave a short chuckle as she walked a few paces ahead.

"And another thing is your scales have turned red when I mentioned it" She turned around and motioned toward me with her staff.

I quickly looked down toward myself to see a bit of red amidst the blue, I quickly forced my scales back to it's normal blue tint.

I sighed as Iooked back towards Aurora who was trying to avoid the snow Dawn was flinging at her.

"I guess you're right… I just don't know how to…" I started to confess to Valka in a low tone

"I know how you feel, I can remember how I felt back when I first fell in love…" Valka looked back toward Dawn for a moment before she continued.

"Do you know what? Let me watch over Dawn so you two can have some time for yourselves"

"Oh… I don't know... " I nervously started

"Don't you worry, I'll talk to them also" Valka turned around and slowly made her way over towards Aurora…

I was too surprised to respond to that as I watched Valka walk off toward Aurora…

Silverwing (POV)

I was watching the two-legs starting to get more active throughout their village den. The sun was pleasantly warm on my back here on the roof of Sir's wooden two-leg den.

I watched as the strange two-legs who smelled like a kin came over and left a moment later walking off toward the forest.

Curiosity overcame me as I watched this strange two-leg, I quickly started to follow him going from one den's roof to the next toward the forest where he continued to walk off deeper into the woods.

I as quietly as I could flew in after him trying to stay out of sight as he continued to walk on until he reached a small clearing in the forest near a large pile of boulders, I climbed into a nearby tree where I tried to hide as best I could while watching the strange two-leg holding something in his hand which he constantly looked at.

I heard a soft rustling sound nearby in the foliage,

I watched as a dark purple kin that looked like the same kin as Sir, came walking out of the foliage looking directly towards the strange two-leg who seemed to be surprised by the kin appearance.

"Hello…" The two-leg started to say before the kin hissed at him

"Who are you! And why do you smell of our kind!" The kin hissed with clear distaste.

"I'm Draconigen…" I saw the thing in the two-leg hand give off an orange-yellow colour, he quickly placed it in a small hidden place in his false skin, the two-leg's call clothes.

The kin gave the two-leg a suspicious look right before it blew a torrent of purple fire toward the two-leg who quickly jumped out of the way and…

A bright light suddenly came from out of nowhere as the two-leg suddenly changed into a hornless blue and silver kin with the strange object around his neck.

"I do not want to fight…" The strange two-leg kin called Draconigen tried to say

"You're a Shifter, and a strange one at that" The other kin spoke, circling Dracon who in turn did the same.

"And your a Scale-Shifter, Not a very friendly one at that"

The other kin snorted as it gave Dracon an amused look

"My kind don't trust the likes of Two-legs, especially ones who smell of kin" the kin sneered

"I can see why you distrust 'Two-legs', but not all of them are bad…"

"You sound just like them…!" The kin nearly shouted before he suddenly fell silent staring at Dracon in confusion, Dracon was also staring at the Kin for a moment to what seemed to be confusion before his expression switched over to annoyance.

"You're the one responsible for their change?!"

Dracon hissed as his talons started to glow bright silver.

"I did what was needed… besides, they were the lucky ones"

The kin gave a menacing grin

I tried to lean in closer to get a better view but accidently broke a branch.

The Kin quickly looked in my direction before he quickly shot a ball of fire at the ground which erupted into a large dark grey cloud of smoke, Dracon flapped his wings which quickly cleared the smoke away revealing that the kin is gone.

"Silverwing…" I heard Dracon call just as I was about to leave,

I slowly came out of hiding as he looked in my direction.

I looked at him nervously as I tried to think of what to say or ask.

"I believe you have heard everything, right?" Dracon calmly

sat down as he looked off toward the distance.

"Y-yes… I... "

"I know, You were curious and are still very young, no need to worry…" He sighed as he turned his gaze upon me, "...Just promise me not to tell anyone of what you saw nor heard now, I need to first figure something out, don't want to make them worried or any of the sort just yet"

He looked away for a moment

"I won't tell anyone… but should Sir not know?"

"Yes, but not now, let them have some time of peace before the storm…"

Unknown (POV)

Two dragons were flying in the distance over the mountains overlooking the small village full of dragons and humans, the wind is cold and unforgiving up in the mountain where nothing lives.

I continued to watch the two dragons fly around each other, the one I saw was blue and the other one was dark green.

I looked away after some time to fix my attention on the village itself where I could see many dragons of different shapes, sizes and colours flying around with an occasional rider or two present.

I soon turned away from the sight of the village not wanting to be out in the cold wind for too long as I ventured into a small abandoned cave barely large enough to fit a dragon twice my size.

Far down below two figures emerged from the forest, one human and a silvery grey dragon both side by side, I was unfortunately Oblivious of their presence to which no one might know the significance of...
