Kelly's Pov

As the Ambulance drove off, my head slumped down only for a second I turned to Boden and looked him in his eyes with a death glare, "you can take my car Kelly get to the Hospital go Cap can take temporary command over squad 3 go" I ran to Boden´s car and jumped behind the weal and drove off lights and sirens on I pressed my radio key "firefighter 1068 to main" "main Go ahead firefighter 1068" "main show me inroad to 1620 W Harrison St, Rush University Medical Center for a personal" "main copy showing you inroad to 1620 W Harrison St, Rush University Medical Center for a personal"

As I rolled up to the hospital and I turned off the car, lights, and sirens I stepped out of the car and rushed into the ED, and walked up to the front desk, io what room is for Matt Casey I asked the nurse at the front desk she told me and tried to stop me as I barged through the waiting room doors and straight into the ER looking for Matt. I found the room empty except for Matt´s Bunker gear soaked in his blood I slowly dropped to my knees and collapsed in agony as I fall I could see multiple nurses rushing towards me, "Sir are you, okay SIR, SIR, wake up come on. I opened my eyes to see that I was put on a stretcher and was being rolled into an er room to get checked out by a doctor I stood up from the stretcher and grabbed the shoulder of one of the nurses, where is Matt Casey, The nurse looked at me with a look that said everything, "I'm sorry son he's in bad shape and is currently undergoing surgery to remove the bullets and repair the nicked arteries. After I was looked over by a doctor I was cleared to go I went up to the room Matt would be brought to if surgery was a success, I waited for two hours then the door slid open and a pale looking Matt was rolled into the room the Doctor asked If I was Family and I Looked at him with a dazed look and nodded my head, we retrieved three bullets from Matt over here one out of his shoulder, another out of his abdomen where it did no serious damages then there was the third bullet in his chest where it punctured the right lung we did manage to fix it but he will need rehabilitation and bed rest. As I took this news in I was looking at the man I had held in my arms this morning and I swore to myself I would try to wake up with him every morning.

Matts pov

As I woke I felt like I was completely frozen laying on the bed I looked around the room with pain shooting through my shoulder chest and abdomen, I could make out a figure in the twilight of the lights outside of the room as I was moving up to a sitting position a nurse came walking into the room and smiled at me stinging in bed "Mr. Casey welcome back, do you know where you are?" she asked "I'm in the hospital and I feel like shit" she smiled again but pushed him back into the pillows and told him to rest this conversation was held in a whisper while she was looking at the figure in the corner of the room in one of the chairs. "who is that I asked" "oh that's Mr. Severide he has been here since you were brought in here a week ago he did not leave only to get some food and go to the bathroom. I looked over to the man in the corner and I smiled she however did not see this as she walked out to the hall to get the doctor. I cringed at the pain as I was shoveling to a sitting position through my gritting teeth I let out a moan of pain I could see the head of the figure snapping up as I could see the greyish eyes of the man I had fallen in love with since I had first laid my eyes on him. He could see my eyes roaming over his form as he jumped to his feet and almost ran over to my bed site, I wanted to say something but a finger was placed over my mouth as he sat down "I would like to say something first Matt" he said I nodded "okay" he inhaled deeply and then let out a stream of words "never do that ever again I do not want to lose a friend … a person I love deeply as he said that he face was only millimeters away from mine and I could feel his breath on my cheeks and that is when it happened his lips brushing over mine I answered my brushing his lips with mine.

Kelly´s pov

I could feel his lips brush over my lips and I leaned in to deepen the kiss as Boden came walking into the room, both mat and I had our eyes closed so we did not see him as he froze in the door opening with a look of shock. That is when Matt and I broke apart and Matt looked at the door I could see his face turning red I looked around to see Gabby, Shay, and Boden standing in the door opening in uniform both Gabby and Shay with wide smiles on their faces and Boden's face in total shock. As he had seen his lieutenants kissing each other.

A/N;

I think that I will do one more chapter on how they announce it to the house and how they will handle it, but then I think that this story is done.
