"Kate Bishop, I have housewarming present for you," Yelena said, walking into Kate's new apartment and tossing a small but long box at her.
Watching as Kate carefully undid the wrapping paper, Yelena smiled when Kate realised what it was.
"A fork?" Kate questioned, looking at the silver utensil carefully.
"Yes. A fork. Now when I make us macaroni, we can both use proper cutlery."
"You are such a dork, I love you." Allowing Kate to tackle hug her on the couch, Yelena allowed herself to smile. Kate was warm and a beacon of sunshine Yelena didn't know she needed.
