Chapter 1

X.A.N.A devitalizes a Lyoko warrior.

It's a beautiful day in Paris France. A few miles away from down town. Is a boarding school the boarding school is called Kadic Academy. Kadic Academy has students of all ages. The school is set up so that students can live on campus. There are dorms, bathrooms, showers, and a cafeteria. There are many students at this school. But we are going to focus on a particular group of friends. The oldest and for now the tallest member is named Yumi Ishiyama. She is 16 years old and is 5'5" an is of Japaneses decent. Yumi has short black hair and hazel. Next is Ulrich Stern he is 15 years old and is 5'4". He had brown hair and brown hair. Ulrich and his family are from Germany. Also at 15 years of age is Odd Della Robia. He is also 5'4" had blonde hair with a purple streak in it.

Odd has blue eyes and is from Holland. The last two members of the group are both 14 years old. First is Aelita Scheffer. She is 5'3" with pink hair and and green eyes. Last but not least is Jeremie Belpois. He is 5'4" with blonde hair and dark blue eyes. This particular group of friends. Have a secret and live a secret double life. They are normal everyday students. And they go to an abandoned factory. Inside the factory down below is a lab with a computer screen and keyboard. Below that are three scanners. And in a room below that is a huge super computer. The group has been going to this factory for a while now. They use the scanners to go to a virtual world called Lyoko. Aelita, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd are the ones that mainly go to Lyoko.

Jeremie mans the computer and sends his friends vehicles. Warn them about on coming monsters. And tell the group which way to go to the activated tower. Lyoko is ruled by an evil computer virus. The virus's name is X.A.N.A. And X.A.N.A. is bent on destroying mankind. But the group of teens keep getting in his way. And finally after years of dealing with X.A.N.A. Jeremie is close to getting rid of X.A.N.A. once and for all. He's almost done with his latest program. That he called the anti X.A.N.A. program. The anti X.A.N.A. program will destroy X.A.N.A. for good. And they can start living a normal lives again. Right now the group of friends are in Jeremie's dorm. Jeremie and Aelita are working on the anti X.A.N.A. program. Yumi and Ulrich are reading and Odd is playing a video game.

Suddenly the group heard Jeremie's computer starting beeping. The group knows that beeping anywhere. They looked at Jeremie's computer screen. There on the screen is an activated tower. Jeremie saved his progress and said "Let's go guys." The group got up and left Jeremie's room. They left the school and went into the park. The group found a manhole cover. Yumi moved the manhole cover and they all climbed down into the sewers. Ulrich was the last one down and he. Moved the manhole cover back where it belongs. The group navigated the sewers. Soon they came to what looks like a dead end. But they climbed up and moved another manhole cover. Then they ran across a bridge and into the factory.

They used ropes to swing down to the lower level. One by one they landed in front of an elevator. They got into it and Jeremie pressed a button. Jeremie looked at his watch then pressed the bottom again. Then he typed in a code on a keypad. The door opened and Jeremie walked into the lab. Yumi, Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich stayed in the elevator. The elevator went down and then got out. They walked over to the scanners. There are three scanners so Yumi, Aelita, and Ulrich went first. Once on Lyoko they waited for Odd. They are on the desert sector. Jeremie sent Yumi and Aelita the overwing. And sent the overbkie for Ulrich and the overboard for Odd. Once everyone was ready they heard Jeremie say "The tower is north, northeast." The group took off in the direction of the tower. Soon the group can see the tower.

" I think X.A.N.A. knows that I'm close to finishing my program. He has sent a bunch of monsters to guard the tower." informed Jeremie

They looked ahead and can see bloks, krabs, mantas, and tarantulas. The tarantulas opened fire right away. Which forced everyone off of their vehicles . The fight between the warriors and the monsters is intense. So far the bloks have been defeated. Aelita is fighting the mantas, Ulrich is fighting the tarantulas, and Yumi and Odd are fighting the krabs. They are dodging lasers from the monsters. So that they don't lose life points. Just then Odd defeated the Krab that he was fighting. Then he went to help Ulrich. Aelita then defeated one of the mantas. Yumi has her hands full with the Krab that she's fighting. She's getting to close to the edge. Suddenly the Krab that Yumi's fighting fired at her.

Yumi flipped out of the line of fire. But when she landed she miss stepped and fell off the edge. She is falling toward the digital sea. If she hit the digital sea she'll be gone for good. But Jeremie still has the materialization program. Aelita flew toward the digital sea. To try to catch Yumi. But she has a manta right on her heels.

"Jeremie quick devitalize Yumi. I can't get to her." stated Aelita

Jeremie's fingers raced across the keyboard. Aelita saw Yumi devitalize so she went back to fighting the manta. Jeremie grew concerned when he didn't see Yumi climb up to the lab. So he climbed down to the scanner room, He became even more worried when he didn't find her anywhere. So he climbed back up to the lab. He put his head set back on. The blonde male saw that Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita have defeated the rest of the monsters. And Aelita going into the tower.

"Umm guys I can't find Yumi. She isn't in the scanner room." informed Jeremie

"You devitalized her right?" asked Ulrich

"I'm pretty sure that I did." replied Jeremie

"I saw Yumi devitalize before she even hit the digital sea." assured Aelita

While Aelita deactivated the tower. Jeremie started scanning the digital just in case. And looked and saw that Yumi's virtual card is down in the corner of the computer screen. Which told him that Yumi has been devitalized.

"Okay Jeremie the tower is deactivated. Bring us home please." stated Aelita

Jeremie devitalize Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich. He heard the scanners open then. Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich climbed up to the lab. They walked up to Jeremie and Ulrich asked "Are you sure she's not on Lyoko?"

"I'm sure her virtual card is down in the corner of the screen. Which tells me she's been devitalize . I'm scanning the virtual sea to be on the safe side though." informed Jeremie

The digital sea scan came up with nothing. Jeremie shook his head and said "I don't get it where is Yumi?" Just then a blank screen appeared on the computer screen. Ulrich pointed at it and asked "Did you do that Jeremie?" Jeremie shook his head no. Suddenly text started appearing on the screen. I know that you're close to getting rid of me. So I got rid of one of you. And I'm glad it was the geisha, I was hoping it would be her or the Samurai that would mess up and fall.

The group read the text and knew it was X.A.N.A. Jeremie typed What did you do to Yumi X.A.N.A.? X.A.N.A. replied I devitalized her and gave her to someone more evil than I. Jeremie typed who did you giver her to? X.A.N.A. replied all I can tell you is that is. He's more evil that I and is million of years old. And I have a prophesy for you. When gravity falls. Earth becomes sky beware the beat with just one eye. The screen disappeared and the group was left. With more questions than answers.

"Jeremie who much longer until you finished the anti X.A.N.A. program?" asked Ulrich

"I should be done in two days." replied Jeremie

"What do we tell Mr and Mrs Ishiyama? When they go looking for her?" asked Odd

"We can say that the last time we saw here was. When she left to go home for the night." replied Jeremie

With that said the group left the factory without Yumi. Two days later Jeremie lunched his anti X.A.N.A. program. With the help of Aelita and her father. The program did what it was made to do. Then the group went down to the super computer room. Jeremie shut down the super computer. Yesterday they had no choice but to tell Mr and Mrs Ishiyama that the last time. That they saw Yumi was when she left to go home. Now that he doesn't have to worry about X.A.N.A. Jeremie plans on researching the prophesy. During his spare time to find out. Who X.A.N.A. gave Yumi to.
