Chapter 2

Yumi meets Bill and starts her journey.

With Yumi she opened her eyes and looked around. She sat up and can see that. She isn't on Lyoko anymore let alone the factory. The teenage girl can see that she's in a blue energy cage. That's in the shape of a pyramid. She looked and saw that she's in the clothes that she was. Wearing when she and her friends went to the factory. Yumi looked around and it looks like the cage she's in. Is in a castle looking room. Suddenly she heard a high picked voice say "Well, well you're finally awake." Yumi turned and saw a yellow floating pyramid. It has one eye, a black top hat, a black bow tie, and has a black arms and legs. Stunned Yumi asked "Who the hell are you? An where am I?"

The floating triangle replied "The name's Bill and you're in the nightmare realm. That X.A.N.A character gave you to me. To do with as I please." Yumi huffed and said "Well by now my friends would have defeated X.A.N.A. So Why keep me?" Bill shrugged and replied "You're not wrong your friends. Have defeated X.A.N.A. I'm keeping you because I enjoy watching people suffer." Yumi didn't like what Bill had to say. But she stayed strong and stared at Bill. Bill likes Yumi spirit so he decided to giver her a choice.

"You know what I like your spunk. So I'm going to give you a two choices. Either you can stay in the cage. And get to see me everyday. Or you can wonder the dimensions. For the rest of your days or until I decide otherwise." offered Bill

Yumi thought about Bill's choices for a bit. Then she said "I'd rather wonder the dimensions. Then stare at you everyday."

"Very well and since I like your spunk. I'll send you off with a bag of supplies." stated Bill

Bill snapped his fingers and a bag appeared next to Yumi. She grabbed a hold of it. Because after she grabbed a hold of the bag. Bill snapped his fingers again. Now Yumi can see that she's no longer in the blue energy cage. Nor in the a castle looking room. She stood and looked around and saw that. She in a forest with odd looking plants of different colors and shapes. Then Yumi heard Bill's voice say " To go from dimension to dimension. You'll have to rifts of different colors. Most colors are good some are bad. I'll let you learn that on you're own. Oh there are creatures that will try to kill you have fun." Yumi started muttering in Japaneses. She flung the bag over her shoulder and started walking.

One year has passed and Yumi is 17 years old. She has quickly learned which color rifts are good. And which ones are bad. Blue, purple, and green are good. Red and yellow are bad. Orange is is 50-50 but mostly bad. And she had learned what foods are good for her. And which are bad for her. She has also come across refugees that are homeless because of Bill. They gave Yumi a dimensional translator. So that she can understand the people of any dimension she's in. And that the people can understand her. Yumi mainly speaks either Japanese or English. Back on Earth Jeremie hasn't been able. To figure out the prophesy that X.A.N.A. gave him. One year has passed and Yumi is 18 years old. She is fully grown at 5'6" and is still tough as nails.

You have to be tough to travel the dimensions. She has sweet talked he way into food and shelter when she had to. Yumi has even stolen things just to get by. Right now Yumi is getting ready to. Cross an open field which she knows can be dangerous. She flung her bag over her shoulder. Then she started walking quickly across the field. As she walked she looked around for danger and for a rift to go through. She is about half way across the field. When she heard something growling and snarling behind her. Yumi turned, looked, and saw a gorza beast. She has heard about these beasts. And up until now she hasn't seen one. Yumi turned away and took off running. The gorza beast also took off. Now Yumi is looking for a tree or rift.

Suddenly Yumi tripped and fell to the ground. As she got back up she felt the sharp teeth of the gorza beast. Bite Yumi's upper leg and it hurts like hell. Yumi screamed in pain and started punching the gorza beast. Soon Yumi punched the gorza beast. As hard as she could in the eye. The gorza beast let go of Yumi. She stumbled but managed to stay on her feet, Yumi limped away as fast as she could. A purple rift opened in front of her. Yumi limped through the rift leaving the gorza beast behind. She looked around and saw mountains and clouds. Soon she saw a building on top of a mountain. Yumi hoped that someone that could help live there. So she headed toward the mountain with the building on it.

When she got to the base of the mountain. Yumi is so tired that she laid down and passed out. Luckily for Yumi someone does live in the shrine at the top of the mountain. A seven eyes female creature lives in the shrine. She is known as the Oracle. The oracle happened to be out for a walk. When she came across Yumi. The oracle picked has never seen humans before. But she can see that the young woman injured and bleeding. So the oracle picked up the young woman. And went to the shrine. Once in the shrine she took the young woman to a room. The oracle got some medical supplies. Then she started taking care of the young woman's wounds. After she was done the Oracle. Tried to fix the damage done to the young woman's leg. After she was done the Oracle left the room.

The next day Yumi woke up and saw that she's in a nice looking room. The bed that she's laying on is very comfortable. She sat up and looked around. Yumi moved to the edge of the bed and. Thought about getting up but her leg hurt. Just then Yumi heard a someone say "Don't stand up yet. Your leg need more time to heal." Yumi looked and saw a woman with seven eyes.

"Who are you?" asked Yumi

"I'm known as the Oracle. I found you at the base of the mountain. I brought you here and took care of your wounds. And I hopefully repaired the damage done to your leg." replied the woman.

"Thank you for helping me." thanked Yumi

"May I ask what attacked you?" asked the Oracle

"A gorza beast attacked me." replied Yumi

"I had a feeling that's what it was. Well you are welcome to stay here to recover." assured the Oracle

"Thank you so much my name is Yumi." stated Yumi

Yumi stayed with the oracle for two weeks. Then she was on her yet again. Three years have passed and Yumi is 21 years old. And she has been traveling the dimensions for five years now. She's relaxing in a dimension that seems safe. Suddenly she hears a familiar voice.

"Well, well here you are Yumi." said the voice

"What do you want Bill?"asked Yumi

Bill appeared and said "I want to show you something." He snapped his fingers and a blue flame appeared. In the flame Yumi can see people crying. The people are crying around a casket. Yumi can see Mr. Stern. Mrs Stern, Jeremie, and Aelita.

"I can't believe that Ulrich's dead." sobbed Aelita

"Me either Aelita." chocked Jeremie

Yumi looked at Bill and asked "How did Ulrich die?"

"He died in a plane crash. Ulrich went to the US to visit a relative. The plane was on it's way back to Germany. When it hit major turbulence and crashed." informed Bill

Yumi started crying and asked "Can I please go back to Earth?" Bill thought about Yumi's question then said " No I'm not done watching you suffer." Yumi grabbed a flaming piece of wood at Bill. But he disappeared before it hit him. Yumi made sure the flaming piece of wood wouldn't cause a forest fire. Then she put her hands in her hands and started crying. She and Ulrich had been dating for six months. Before what happened to her on Lyoko. Even thought it was only six months. Yumi still loved him with all of her heart.
