Chapter 5

Connecting with Friends and Family.

Two days later Ford is in his room checking on Yumi. Her fever has finally broken but she is still unconscious. After checking on Yumi Ford left his room. He found Stanley and said "Come on Stanley let's go down to the basement and get some more work done." Stanley smirked and followed Ford to the vending machine. Ford typed the code into the keypad. It opened then he and Stanley went down into the basement. They worked until it was lunch time. Then they went up to the kitchen. Stanley started making mac and cheese. While Ford washed up.

In Ford's room Yumi is coming too. She opened her hazel eyes and looked around. Then she sat up to get a better look. It looks like she's in a bedroom. But she doesn't know where she is. And she doesn't see Ford anywhere. Yumi went to stand up but she felt a bit light headed. So she sat back down. So she yelled "Ford where are you?!" In the kitchen Ford heard Yumi yell for him. He got up from the table and ran out of the kitchen. Ford ran to his room and saw that Yumi is sitting up. He went over to her, sat next to her, and asked "Are you ok sweetheart?" Yumi hugged Ford and asked " Where were you? And where are we?" Ford hugged her back and replied "We are in my house in Gravity Falls. We're back where we belong. And I was in the kitchen.

Tears came to Yumi's eyes and asked "Are we really back on Earth? We're not on a parallel Earth?" Ford nodded and replied "Yes we are really back on Earth. It isn't a parallel Earth." Overwhelmed Yumi started crying. Ford patted Yumi on the back. Then he said "There, there my sweetheart it's ok." Ten minutes later Yumi started calming down. Just then Stanley came into the room. In his hands are bowls of mac and cheese. When Yumi saw a man come into the room. She asked "Ford who is that?" Ford smiled and replied "Yumi I would like you to meet. My twin brother Stanley." Yumi pulled away and said "Nice to meet you Stanley." Stanley smiled and said" It's nice to meet you too. I brought you two some mac and cheese."

Ford and Yumi each took a bowl and started eating. Stanley sat down with his bowl and started eating also. As they ate they talked. After they were done eating. Stanley took the bowls to the kitchen. Yumi leaned against Ford and asked "Did you find the other two journals?" Ford let out a content sigh and replied "Yes I found the other journals. I tore out everything having to do with Bill. And once the portal is destroyed. I'll tare out everything having to do with portal." Feeling sleepy even though she hasn't been awake for long. Yumi yawned and asked " How are you and your brother getting along?"

"We're getting along pretty well. Now you get come more rest." replied Ford

Yumi nodded, closed her eyes, and fell asleep. Stanley came into the room and saw that Yumi is asleep. He looked at Ford and whispered "You good here sixer?" Ford nodded and replied whispering " Yes I'm fine I don't want to disturb her." Stanley went to leave the room. But he stopped at the doorway. Stanley turned and looked back at Ford and Yumi. But he is especially looking at Ford. He can see how lovingly Ford is looking at Yumi. Stanley smiled and is finally left the is glad to see that Ford so happy. The ladies always seemed to be. Put off by Ford's intellect and by his hands. So he's glad that Ford has found happiness. The next day Yumi is feeling better but not quit 100%.

After breakfast Stanley and Ford cut Yumi's hair because it's down to her butt.

"Thank you that's much better." thanked Yumi

"You're welcome sweet cheeks." stated Stanley

"Is there tablet or a computer that I can use? I want to try to get a hold of my family and friends." asked Yumi

"Yes there is Ford's laptop." replied Stanley

Ford found his laptop and gave it to Yumi. He gave her a kiss on the forehead and said "Stanley and I will be in the basement if you need us." Stanley and Ford left the room and went to the basement. Yumi turned on the laptop and got on Skype. Even though she's been gone a long time. She still remembers Jeremie's Skype and her Aunt's Skype. The woman hoped that their Skype are still the same. First she tried Jeremie's Skype. In the country side of Paris France is where Jeremie and Aelita live. They are married and have a four year old daughter. Her name is Anita and she has pink hair and blue eyes. Jeremie is on his computer and his Skype is going off.

He doesn't recognize the Skype address. But he answered it anyway "Hello Jeremie Belpois here." He looked at his screen and is speechless. On his screen he can see. A woman that is of Japanese descent. She had medium length black hair and hazel eyes. To Jeremie the woman looks like Yumi. On Yumi end she see a blonde haired man with dark blue eyes. He has thick black glasses. To her the man looks like Jeremie. They looked at each other without saying a word. Finally Jeremie asked "Yumi is that you?" The woman nodded and said " It's me Jeremie." To be sure Jeremie said "Tell me something that only I would know."

Yumi thought for thought for a minute then said "I was the one caught under a tree. When X.A.N.A. made it snow and freeze. Ulrich stayed behind to try to get the tree off of me. And speaking of X.A.N.A. he devitalized me. Then gave me to a inter dimensional demon named Bill Cipher." Tears came to Jeremie's eyes and said "Oh my god Yumi it is you. It's so good to see you."

"It's good to see you too Jeremie. How are you and Aelita? And does my family still live in France?" asked Yumi

"We're great we're married and have a four year old daughter. And a year after you disappeared. Your family returned to Kyoto Japan." replied Jeremie

"Thanks Jeremie hopefully Aunt Kazumi has the same Skype." stated Yumi

"Yumi where have you been all of these years?" asked Jeremie

"Well I was traveling from dimension to dimension. Until we finally found our way home." replied Yumi

"We what do you mean we?" asked Jeremie

" I met a man named Stanford Pines. Who was tricked by Bill. He wound up in the dimensions. We traveled together for five years. And somehow we went through a rift and we were back on Earth." replied Yumi

After talking to Jeremie Yumi tried her Aunt Kazumi. In Kyoto Japan it's late but Kazumi is still up. She's getting ready for bed. But she heard her tablet go off. She turned her tablet and clicked on her Skype. Kazumi looked at her screen. And saw a Japanese woman that looks like Yumi.

"Yumi is that you?" asked Kazumi

"Yes it's me my birthday is May 5th. And your birthday is March 22nd." stated Yumi

"Oh my god Yumi where have you been?" asked Kazumi

Yumi explained everything to Kazumi. Since her Aunt worked in the Japanese government. Yumi figured that out of everyone in her family. That would believe her it would be Kazumi. Kazumi is stunned but she believes Yumi.

"I'll try to get you birth certificate from Akiko. So you can become a legal citizen of the US. And here is Doctor Strange's number. Just in case you and Ford. Have any trouble with Bill." stated Kazumi

Yumi wrote down the number and said "Thank you Aunt Kazumi." After she was done talking to her Aunt. Yumi went to the bathroom and took a shower. At lunch time Stanley and Ford came up stairs. While Stanley made tuna fish sandwiches. Ford sat next Yumi asked "How did it go?"

"It went very well I got a hold of Jeremie and Aunt Kazumi. Aunt Kazumi said that she would try to get my birth certificate. And she gave me Doctor Strange's number" replied Yumi

"Who is Doctor Strange?" asked Ford

"If I remember correctly Aunt Kazumi said that. Doctor Strange is the sorcerer supreme. And keeper of time stone. So if we have trouble with Bill he can definitely help." explained Yumi

Just then Stanley put a plate of tuna fish sandwiched on the table. He sat down and took a sandwich, Ford and Yumi joined Stanley and they ate lunch.
