Chapter 6
Leaving then Returning.
A week had passed and the portal is half way destroyed. Right now Stan and Ford are in the basement working. And Yumi is checking the mail. She smiled when she saw that she got a letter from Kyoto. Yumi put the rest of the mail in the office. Then she opened the letter from Kyoto. Inside is her birth certificate and a letter. Yumi took out the letter and read it.
Dear Yumi,
Here is your birth certificate like I promised. I explained everything to your parents the best that I could. At first they didn't seem to believe me. But eventually came around. I wrote down your Mother's Skype for you. We hope to see you in Japan soon.

Aunt Kazumi
Later on that day with Stan and Ford's help. They helped Yumi become a legal citizen of the United States. Once back at the shack Ford could tell something was on Yumi's mind. He hugged her and asked "What's on your mind my sweetheart?" Yumi cuddled into Ford's embrace and replied "I know that I'm legal to be here. And I have a new passport so I can travel. I want to go Japan to see my family. Then I want to go France to see Jeremie and Aelita. But I want to go alone. I want you to go with me." Ford smiled and said "Once Stanley and I are finished destroying the portal. I'll go with you." Yumi pulled away from Ford and said "That's the part that's bothering me. I'd be taking away from your brother. And you two have catching up to do."
Ford looked at Yumi lovingly and said "Then I send you off with a picture of Stanley and I. We can stay in the States and catch up. And you can go visit your family and friends. I know that you'll come back here when your done." Yumi smiled,kissed Ford, hugged him, then said " Thank you for understanding." Ford hugged Yumi back and said "No problem my sweetheart." The next day Stanley took Yumi into town. She wants to get more clothes and suitcases for her trip. After getting what she needed Stanley took her back to the shack. That night Yumi packed her bag because. She plans on spending the day with Ford tomorrow. Because she tomorrow night she's going to the airport. To go to Japan and her Aunt knows that she's coming.
The next day after the breakfast. Ford took Yumi out into the woods to show her the cryptids . Then he took her to crash sight omega. It was going on dinner time when they were done. So Ford took Yumi to the dinner. Ford had a cheese burger, fries, and a drink. And Yumi had a pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a drink. After eating Ford paid the bill. Then they went back to the shack. It was starting to get dark when they got back to the shack. Yumi went to Ford's room and got her bags and passport. Then she, Ford, and Stanley left the shack. They got into Stanley's car. Stanley drove to the Portland Oregon airport. Once at the airport Stanley parked in the parking lot. Then they went into the airport.
Ford bought Yumi's plane ticket and they were right on time. The flight leaves in 45 minutes. They found the gate for Yumi flight. Ford wrapped his arms around Yumi and hugged her. Yumi hugged him back and said "I'm going to miss you Ford." Ford held Yumi tight and said "I'm going to miss you too my sweet heart. Travel safe and please keep in touch."
"Don't worry I will." assured Yumi
Ford pulled away and got a picture out of his pocket. He gave it to Yumi and said "Here is a picture of Stanley and I." Yumi took the picture and put it in her bag. Forty minutes later Stanley and Ford. Watched as the airplane with Yumi and other passengers took off. Stanley put his hand on Ford's shoulder and said " No worries Ford she'll be back." With that said they left the airport. Three months later a taxi is making it's way down a paved road. On either side of the road is forest. Soon the taxi turned onto a dirt road. Inside the taxi is Yumi and the taxi. Is on it's way to the Mystery Shack. Yumi didn't tell Stan and Ford that. She was on her way back to Gravity Falls. The woman wants to surprise them.
Yumi enjoyed her time in Japan and France. But neither place felt like home. She missed Ford, Stan, and Gravity Falls. Just then the taxi pulled up to the Mystery Shack. Yumi got out and grabbed her bags. She paid the driver. Then went into house section of the shack. When she was outside she saw Stan's car. She walked to where she can be heard.
"Hello I'm Home!" yelled Yumi
She head footsteps coming her way. Yumi looked and saw Stanley coming toward her. He smiled and wrapped Yumi in big bear hug.
"Hey sweet cheeks it's great to see ya." beamed Stanley
"It's good to see you too Stanley." stated Yumi
Stanley let go of Yumi and yelled "Hey sixer come see who's home!" Yumi heard another set of footsteps. She smiled when Ford came into the room. When Ford saw Yumi he smiled then wrapped her. Into the biggest hug that he could muster.
"Welcome home my sweet heart." greeted Ford
"It's good to be home." assured Yumi
"Why didn't you tell us you were on your way home?" asked Ford
"I wanted to surprise you and Stanley." replied Yumi
Ford finished hugging Yumi then he grabbed one of her bags. Then they went to Ford's room. And she saw that he bought a bed. While Yumi unpacked Ford told her that he sold the sectional. Then told her that he and Stanley. Drove down to California to visit their older brother Sherman. And luckily their mother was also there for a visit. He told Yumi that their visit went very well. After Yumi was done unpacking. She sat down with Ford and they started cuddling. She told Ford how things went in Japan and France. Ford was happy to hear that Yumi's trip went well.
Three years have passed and Yumi, Ford, and Stanley are 35 years old. Stanley moved his tourist trap to a bigger place and he lives there. He is also dating a woman that moved into town last year. Yumi and Ford have been married for two years. They live in Ford's house. With their one year old twins Ava and Alex. Ava has black hair and blue eyes. She also has a birthmark in the shape of a stat on her right arm. Alex has dark chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. He also had six fingers on each hand like Ford does. A year after Yumi and Ford got married. Doctor Strange contacted them and told them. That he and the Scarlet Witch had found and destroyed Bill Cipher. So no one in the Pines family has to worry about Bill anymore. Especially Yumi and Ford.
