Amos tilted his head to one side the minute Supergirl looked around in Metropolis. He glanced from her to the bag he currently carried. Amos began to remember buying a few things for Martha and Jonathan Kent minutes ago. He smiled with Supergirl.
''I guess we could eat lunch,'' Amos said.
One young man ran out of the alley with a necklace.
Supergirl and Amos viewed a woman with wide eyes appearing from the alley.
''Stop! Thief!'' the woman exclaimed.
''Lunch later,'' Amos said after one frown appeared on his long face. He joined the woman as Supergirl flew to the thief.
Amos watched as Supergirl approached him and seized the necklace. Even when the man fled. When Supergirl returned to the woman and gave the necklace to her. She smiled with her.
Supergirl turned to Amos.
''Lunch this minute,'' Supergirl said as her smile remained.
