A/N: sorry been gone for so long with updating all my stories but have been worried about this whole pandemic and different things but have plans on starting once again adding onto them and any thoughts would be great

A few months had passed since Billy died and Catherine settled into being on the team full time which was nice for a change. Everyone at the moment was starting to panic because of the global pandemic that was happening and wondering if and when the governor would shut down everything not allowing people to come and go from Hawaii.

JJ wandered into the palace and headed for his friends office once see she was there and knocked on the door frame, "Hey there."

Catherine looked up and smiled, "What brings you here?"

He passed her some cocoa puffs and sat down, "Seems that Navy is sending most of the personnel stateside and pops gave me a choice of locations."

They both chuckled, "And you thought of Honolulu?"

"We figured why not? Emma loved when we were stationed here before and Jessica can work from anywhere."

Dakota and Steve stopped next to their old friend, "Sounds like a good idea and can run things from Pearl."

"Yep, not that will be much to do once Denning forces a lock down."

Steve sipped his coffee, "True but you have a plan?"

"Since yuo have recruited Dakota here pretty much thought-"

Danny groaned at hearing this as passed by, "One super seal is bad enough around here. NO!"

Everyone was laughing and Kono shrugged, "And the and thing about that is?"

The blonde man rolled his eyes, "You have corrupted her."

Dakota just laughed, "She was this way when I joined you."

Kono just smacked her friends shoulder, "Will always be my favorite."

A few days had passed, seemed that things were getting more chaotic around the islands and Denning called a meeting with Steve in his office to see what could be done. Steve walked up to the governor house and smiled at his guard that opened the door and led him to the office, "Commander thanks for coming."

They shook hands before took a seat, "Thought would be a good idea."

"Am sure that you and team have been watching the news with this whole global pandemic happening and now things are starting to become bad here."

"Yes and see that much of the states are going into lock down."

He passed him a paper, "We all know that even going into lock down mode there will be crime happening. With much of the criminals using the chance to think can get into more trouble and since going through all of this no one will come after them. Yes will be less officers out there on the streets at the moment but don't want crime rates to shoot sky high."

"And that's where my team comes in handy?"

"Yes, seeing as you have recently added more people into the mix think a good idea. I have reinstated your immunity for the time being. This way can travel around the different islands and parts of Hawaii without worrying of being out and about during this all."

This had his smiling, "Provided a few things of course."

"Yes, that you keep me updated on what exactly is going on and needed you quarantine. All expenses will be paid when comes to travel and other things."

After a little more chatting the team leader left and headed back to the palace where find his team sitting around the conference room where told them what found out, "Since have the go ahead unless have a major case pop up will be out there helping HPD monitor things."

Dakota crossed his arms, "But pretty much can do whatever we want for once?"

Everyone just laughed, "Within reason of course but we wont all be out there at the same time since can't have all of us go down."

Kono was smiling, "What about if not out there?"

"Can be here in the office or working cold cases whatever really. Just HPD will be struggling a bit-"

Chin spoke up, "Plus, we have more of a wide spread reach that can go places and see things the less manpower may miss."
