Okay, let's be honest. This is 2 years overdue...I have no excuses besides the fact that I'm so sorry. However, I'm here to update again, hopefully, more. If you all can, send me a PM reminding me to update this, thank's y'all. I own nothing.

Tris' POV

As Eric and I walked back to our room, I realized something.

In all my years at Dauntless, I have never once gotten a tattoo.

"Eric?" I asked, and he turned to me.

"Yes, Trissy-Poo?" He said, and I fought the urge to kick him.

"So help me, you call me that again and that little incident from this morning will feel like nothing. Anyways, I realized something. I've never once gotten a tattoo before. Can we get one? Please?" I asked, turning my innocent eyes on him.

"Tris, why do you use those eyes on me, baby girl? You know I can't resist them." Eric said, and he started walking to Aunt Tori's place.

"Thank you, Eric! And that's exactly why!" I said, with a wink. Eric laughed, and we quickly got there.

"There's our fearsome Dauntless leader and my favorite niece. What's up?" Tori asked as I went to hug her.

"Well, Aunt Tori, I realized something. I have not gotten a tattoo yet, even with how often I've been here." I said, and she laughed.

"Yeah, because your father kept threatening to throw me in the chasm if I ever gave you one, though I guess now you have all rights to," Tori said, and I smiled.

"Thank you!" I cheered, and she laughed.

"Got a design idea?" She asked, and I shook my head. "Go look over there, kid. You, Dauntless leader. Need anything?" Tori asked as I walked over to her station of tattoo designs.

I started flipping through them, and I saw one that stood out.

A silhouette of three birds flying, all close to the heart. I looked down at it and smiled.

"Aunt Tori, I know what I want," I said, and I waved it. She laughed and led me to her tattoo seat.

"Alright, color?" She asked, and at my grin shook her head. "Of course black, such a stupid question." I laughed, and she had me pull my shirt and bra down a bit.

As she started on the tattoo, I spaced out, just relishing in the feeling of my familiar life.

Little did I know how badly I would miss it.

Do you all deserve a much longer chapter? Yes. Did I give it? No, and I'm sorry. Also, I'm sorry for the cliffhanger, but hopefully, it should be done soon. Like the new idea for the tattoo? Okay. I'm gonna work on another chapter. Feel free to review, even if it's one being mad at me for now updating. I love you all. Thank you for being here.
