Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Yuka Ayase who used to live in a town called Mikage-cho. After the incident that left the town covered in mist and ice and a possessed sensei, things quieted down a lot! During her journey, she found herself fallin in love with her classmate Naoya Toudou. It was impossible to not like him. He was kakkoi and handsome and honestly she felt that way even before then but she didn't really know him. Naoya Toudou had layers upon layers inside of his kokoro (heart) and tamaki (soul). It was to the point that he didn't really know himself so how could she ever know him?

Yuka knew she wanted to get to know him and peel back all the scar tissue on his kokoro and maybe get to know him and help him understand himself. In the end, it did not work out. IT felt wrong to make a move when Maki and Elly had liked him too. If it were anyone else, she wouldnt have cared and made a move anyway but something stopped her.

Was it because she knew him? Even if it was just the tiniest thinnest top layer?

Was it because she knew in her kokoro of kokoros that they were just never meant to be?

Time passed…
