Since Aurora is a Christmas baby, Thor has decided to play Christmas cds. The Christmas songs bring me comfort even when I see no end to my suffering. I am exhausted because I have been pushing for a long time. Aurora is very stubborn. She is my second biggest baby, in comparison to Sleipnir. I have tried changing positions on bed, squatting, and dancing her out. "All of my attempts to push out Aurora have failed" I complain to my brother. "Come with me into the bathroom. I will run you a nice warm bath" Thor invites me. Carefully, he helps me into the bathtub. The baby loves the bath too. A strong urge to push soon takes over me. "I have to push. I can feel Aurora descending further into the birth canal. She wants to be born in the bathtub" I alert Thor. "Go ahead and push then" Thor permits me. Sensing I may need help, Thor provides extra body support for me. He applies pressure to my stomach. I rest my head against his chest. I relax my muscles and allow Mother Nature to take control. Aurora experiences shoulder dystocia in which means her shoulders are stuck in the birth canal. I am worried because I have never encountered this issue before in the past. "I am going to carefully pull Aurora out. You may hurt, bleed, and tear in the process. You must cooperate with me" Thor warns me. "I don't care what happens to me. Please save my precious morning star" emotional, I plead with him.
