Message from the author: Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while since I posted, but more chapters are coming soon!

The next couple of days were living hell. Not only was I totally confused about what to do about Edward, but my depressive episodes were getting worse with the progression of my pregnancy. I couldn't leave my bed for mundane things like water or food. I knew if I didn't I could cause serious harm to my baby and the fact that not even that couple motivated me was extremely concerning. On the third day I had sent Edward away, there was a loud pounding on my door around 9 pm. I rolled over and covered my head with a pillow.
"Isabella," I heard Kendall's voice yelling, "Get your ass over here and open your door!" God she can be a pain in my ass sometimes. I trudged my way over to my door and yanked in open, preparing myself to face her wrath.

"Oh my god," she said, putting her hands over her mouth, " You look like shit."

"Thank you," I said, plastering a fake smile on my face, "It's so good to see you too."

"Where have you been? You have missed work for the past 3 days. I know you're going through a lot, but you at least have to take care of yourself. This isn't about you anymore." I rolled my eyes.

"You think I don't know that. Plus I have other things going on right now that I have no idea how to deal with."

"Like what," she prompted, crossing her arms. I stared at her with wide eyes, knowing I shouldn't have said anything at all.

"Uh, do you want to come in first," I asked. Kendall walked past me and sat herself down in one of the chairs in the small 'kitchen'. I shut the door and turned to face her, keeping my eyes on my feet.

"Um, my ex-boyfriend sort of showed up a couple days ago," I paused, keeping my eyes on my feet as I felt the tears form in my eyes. I heard a gasp come from Kendall."I still love him, but I don't know what to do," I finally broke down sobbing. Kendall caught me before I hit the floor. She cradled me in her arms and whispered words of comfort.

"Isabella, this could get very complicated, does he know about the baby?"

"Yes, he knows, but I didn't tell him who the father was. God he's going to be so pissed," I sobbed harder.

"If he really loves you Isabella, he should care for that child as if it were his own, no matter who the father is."

"I know deep down he would, but I'm so afraid he'll leave me again," I blubbered.

"You need to tell him and let him decide," she said, pulling me to my feet.

"I brought dinner," she said, holding up a bag.

"It's Chinese I hope that's ok." For the first time in days I felt the stabbing pain of hunger in my stomach.

"That sounds amazing, thank you," I said, reaching for the bag.

"You start eating, I'm going to give your apartment a deep clean. Hopefully this will help you get back on your feet." I nodded and dug into my food.

By the time Kendall left, I had passed out on my bed, but she must have set my alarm because I woke up to a blaring noise coming from my nightstand. I slammed my hand down on the clock and lifted my head to look at the time. I groaned when I realized it was 8:00, which meant I had to be at work in an hour.

I got up and looked around, seeing that Kendall had done an extremely good job at cleaning my apartment. There wasn't a hair out of place. I decided I needed a shower, so I grabbed a towel and headed into the bathroom.

When I got out, I heard a loud knock on the door.

"Bella," a concerned voice called.

"Damn it," I whispered, trying to get myself dry, but I heard the door open at the same time I opened the door to the bathroom and came face to face with Edward. I gasped, and in my shock, lost my hold on my towel and it fell to the floor.

I stared wide-eyed at Edwards' shocked face. His eyes trailed down my body and back up to my breasts. I quickly snapped out of it and reached down to pick up my towel.

"Jesus Edward, the door was locked," I yelled, wrapping the towel around me tightly.

"Umm," for the first time in what I guessed was a very long time Edward was at a loss for words. His eyes were still focused on my towel covered breasts.

"Hey," I snapped, "Eyes up here."

"I'm so sorry Bella. I thought something might have happened, I expected you to answer," he said, looking down at his feet.

"It's fine, but seriously what are you doing here?"

"Well it's been three days and I wanted to see you again," he said, finally raising his head. I knew I was blushing like crazy and I was trying to do my best to control my breathing, with him standing only feet away from me.

"I think you should leave. I can meet you for dinner tonight," I said, keeping my head high and trying to look confident. He just continued to stare at me wide eyed.

"Edward?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. I'll meet you at the little cafe across from the library, if that works."

"Yes, that's perfect," I said, trying to contain my glee. He leaned in to give me a hug, but quickly retreated when he realized I was still in a towel.

"Sorry, ok I'm clearly not making this any better. I'm just going to go," he said nervously, running a hand through his messy bronze hair. He turned around and started walking towards the door. I followed him and when he got there I grabbed his arm to turn him around. Making sure my towel was tucked tightly around me, I opened my arms and stepped into him, laying my head on his chest. He rested his head on my shoulder and clung to me as if I were the only thing keeping him alive. I pulled back when tears started to form in my eyes.

"I love you," he said simply. A couple tears spilled over.

"I love you too,"I said back. He wiped the tears from my face and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, before leaving.
