A few months passed

I can't wait for my birthday to come, which is 7 August. In two weeks, I will become 11 years old. Hehe. I hope Snape will plan a surprise party for me. Meh, who I am trying to joke. Snape hate that kind of event. Besides, he is not a person who like to show emotion. Nevermind! Hogwarts, wait for me! I shouted excitedly. I hope I will be able to control myself when I saw Harry Potter because based on my understanding, he is abused by his relatives.

In this last few months, Snape decided to teach me about potions. Sometimes he allowed me to brew the potions with him. He also told me about Hogwarts and the subject I will take at Hogwarts such as Transfiguration, Charms, DADA and etc. Let me tell you, he is a great teacher. He explained all in details regarding some subjects that I do not understand. I also asked him to teach me wizard chess. "Uncle sev, which house do you think I will be sort?" I said breaking the silence when we are having lunch.

"Who knows. Maybe Slytherin or Ravenclaw." He answered. Hm. Ravenclaw I can see why but I am not sure about Slytherin. I am not saying I am prejudice person. I just don't think it is safe for me if I want to befriend some of the Gryffindor.

"Oo..ok. What if the hat put me into Gryffindor? Will you hate me?" I asked, unsurely. He just looked at me and sighed.

"I will never hate you just because you were sort into Gryffindor, Ethan. I am not surprise if you were sort there. Because so far I had seen that you manage to do something without thinking." He stated. My face feel red. Hey! No need to remind me. It can't be denied that I managed to get into trouble a few times. Ok, maybe a lot of times. Haha. What can I said. I just nodded and continue to eat.

"Do you want to go to Diagon Alley with me?" He asked. I declined his offer because I felt tired and wanted to take a nap. He just nodded and followed me to my bedroom. I just lie down on my bed. He sit on my bed while rubbing my back until I felt asleep. I do not aware that he kissed my forehead and tucked me.

Snape POV

In the last few months, it has been a lot of blessing, chaos and full of emotional situation. Severus Snape feel happy to learn more about Ethan. He lips twitching when he remember certain things that Ethan managed to land himself in troubled. That kid really full of kindness and mischief. He also a genius because when we were playing wizard chess, he almost got me a few times. Hm. He looked fondly at Ethan for the last times before get up and walked out from his nephew's bedroom. He need to go to Diagon Alley to buy certain things for his potions.
