Chapter 10

Gryffindor or Slytherin?

"Four person for one boat!" Hagrid said loudly. Wow! He is really huge. Harry, Granger, Longbottom and I sat on the same boat. I heard a lot of sound gasped. I cannot deny that Hogwarts looked very beautiful and majestic. I activated my sharingan when no one was looking at me. Wow! It's more details and full of magic. Hehe. I deactivated the sharingan.

"Hey, Neville! Be careful. I heard in the lake have the Giant squid." I said with scary voice.

"What?!" Longbottom really looked scared and panicked. Our boats become unstable because he keep shifting in his seat.

"Neville, he is joking!" Harry said trying to calm Neville. I just laughed. I assured him that I was teasing him and apologized to him. Granger just glared at me. Oh, come on! Why you guys so serious? I thought it was supposed to be fun so that we will be creating a happy memory. Hm. I huffed at them.

"Professor Mcgonagall, this is new students." Hagrid said, leaving us at the stairs.

"Thank you, Hagrid. Now, please pay attention because I will only just said this once time. There are four houses which are Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin. Each house will act as your family as soon as you get sorted. The Headmaster will explained to all of you about the rules later. Please wait here fo a while." Professor Mcgonagall explained and left us.

"It is true what they're saying? Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." I saw Draco Malfoy walked towards us. I sighed.

"I am Draco Malfoy. This is Crabbe and Goyle. Pleasure to meet you, Potter! You must be Longbottom. Who are you guys? Must be a mudblood! You can do better than that, Potter. I can help you." Malfoy said while waiting for Harry to shake his hand. Mudblood? What the hell? Excuse me, does no one teached you how to introduced yourself properly? I am pureblood, ok? Not that I will said that to Malfoy. I want to see how Harry will handle this situation.

"Back off, Malfoy! There is no way Harry want to befriend with death eater." the voice said. I saw it belongs to Ron Weasley. Dude, you should asked Harry about it. I thought.

"Red hair? You must be a Weasley! What make you think that Potter want to befriend someone poor liked you?" Malfoy said arrogantly. Weasley face turned red.

"At least I am not a dark wizards like you,Malfoy! How many times that your father kissed You-Know-Who robes." Weasley with mocked voice.

"You son of.."

"Is there any problem?" Most of first year jumped hearing Professor McGonagall voice. Professor McGonagall narrowed her eyes at Malfoy and Weasley.

"No, Professor!" Both of them said.

"Very well. Follow me. We're ready for you." Professor McGonagall stated and walked towards the Great Hall without waiting our replied. Wow! I cannot stopped the gasped sound from my mouth. It's really amazing!

I heard Granger said to someone 'It's have been charmed to look like the sky'. Of course it is! This is Wzarding World!

"When I called your name, please step forward and sit on that chair." Professor McGonagall said. The sorting begin. So far the characters have been sorted into the same house as movie. I wonder which house I will be sorted.

"Ethan Kingcrown!" When I walked towards the sorting hat and I saw many of the pureblood and some of the halfblood sat straight. Clearly, they had heard my family name before. I saw Malfoy going paled. He must realised he just insulted a pureblood name that greater than his family name. What an idiots. I smirked at him.

"Hm..Difficult. Very difficult. You are cunning but at the same time you're full of braveness. Where to put you? You're intelligent but have lazy attitude. Loyalty is not something that you will give easily. Hm.." I heard the hat murmured. It seems like so far the hats decided want to put me in Gryffindor and Slytherin. Wonder which house it will choose.

"Hm..better be..Slytherin!" the hat shouted. I heard a lot of applaused from Slytherin table. I looked at Snape. He nodded at me. I saw the proud in his eyes.

I went to Slytherin table.

"Harry Potter!" The Great Hall fell silent. All of them looked towards 'The Boy Who Lived'. After 3 minutes, the hat shouted 'Gryffindor'. The Gryffindor table applaused and cheered loudly. Most of the Slytherin just sneered at Gryffindor loudness.

After the sorting finished, Professor Dumbledore gave speeched about forbidden forest and third floor. Seriously, it was clearly shown that you wanted the students to go the third floor. My eyes wide seeing all of the food on the table. Kyaa! I really want to taste all of it. Calm down, Ethan! You are pureblood. I thought taking a deep breathed. In the end, I really tried most of the food. Hehe. The opening feast were really great.
