Chapter 12
A New Day II
"Are you ok, Mr Kingcrown?" Professor Snape asked, looking at me to see whether I had been injured. Professor McGonagall also looked at me.
"I'm fine, professor!" I answered sincerely.
They nodded. Professor McGonagall continued to listen to Longbottom's explanation while Professor Snape dragged me towards the Slytherin table. 'Why I am the one who get lecture?! It's that snake fault!' I heard Weasley shouted at Professor McGonagall. I smirked but it disappeared when Snape narrowed his eyes at me.
"Do not cause trouble, Ethan! If I hear from another Professor I believe I do not need to tell you what will happen." His voice full of seriousness. My face flushed. I nodded. I knew that if I disobey I will get spanked by him. What a troublesome.
At Gryffindor table,
"Are you ok, Neville? That was very brave of you. Stand up to defend Slytherin." Harry said seeing Neville red face.
"I'm fine. It's nothing. He is a kind person even though he is quite a jerk." Longbottom stated. Harry nodded showing that he agreed with Neville statement.
"He provoked Weasley! He clearly want to engaged Weasley to start a fight. He should not doing that." Granger stated. Harry and Longbottom just glanced at each other. They sighed. Granger keep complaining non-stop.
At Slytherin table,
"Are you ok? I saw that Weasley pushed you. He should be expelled." Nott said.
"Yup. I'm fine. No need to worry. Besides, I don't think that behaviour will get him expel from this school. Dumbledore will not allow it." I answered. Malfoy and Zabini just nodded. They knew that Dumbledore always favoured Gryffindor based on their parents story.
"By the way, did Potter is your friend or what?" Zabini asked curious.
"I met him for the first time at Diagon Alley. He clearly ignorant about Wizarding World." I stated. They stared at me incredulously.
"Yup. Make us wonder who want to keep him in dark." I said blankly. I knew the one who did it was Dumbledore. Manipulative old goat. I sneered inwardly.
"You're right! No wonder he looked little lost. I believe you had told him about Wizarding World? Who is his magical guardian?" Nott looked at me. I nodded. Of course I educated him. I am not going to let him ignorant about his status. I thought.
"Not sure." I replied.
"Are you guys done? We need to go to our first class which is..Charms." I changed the subject while looking at my timetable. Hm. Charms with Ravenclaw. I mused.
