Chapter 14

Chidori and Rasengan

"I can't wait for potion class and flying class." I said, laying on the grass while Nott and Zabini were reading books.

"I thought you didn't like to fly?" Zabini said. Nott nodded, agreeing with Zabini.

"Huh? When did I said that?" Now, I am really curious where they got that idea.

"Because you never mention that you like flying?"

"Because you never participate on the discussion about Quidditch?"

Zabini and Nott said at the same time while looking at me waiting for an answered. I sighed. How troublesome.

"You do know that just because I didn't mention about Quidditch doesn't mean I do not like flying." I stated. They nodded and continued to read their books. After an hour, we decided to go to Great Hall for dinner.

Hm. What to do. I am bored right now. I blinked looking at the ceiling. I shifted to find comfortable position to sleep. You know what? Screw the idea to sleep. I am going to take a walked. I got up from bed and walked towards the door.

At the same time, Professor Snape woke up abruptly becuase of the ward alert him that students was out of bed.

Snape POV

What the? Severus Snape got up, startled by the alarm sound. I sighed and tap my wand to see which room. I quickly change my outfit after I realised that it was from first year room. I found that Ethan bed was empty.

"Where did the kid go?" I mused, quite angry at his disobedient. I decided to wait at the common room.

Back to Ethan,

I went to Room of Requirement to practice the chidori and rasengan. I actived my sharingan so that it will be easier to see the flow of chakra. I saw on television, it was really hard to master this techniques.

"Chidori!" I said while flowing my chakra to my left hand. I sweated. Seriously, this is the fifth time already. How long it will take? I screamed in my mind. Don't give up, Ethan. You can do it. Hehe. I keep practicing until I managed to produce the chidori after my tenth times attempted. I run towards the dummy and my left handed went through it. The dummy had big hole. Yes! I shouted and fall down on the floor. I rest for 20 minutes before practicing rasengan.

I tried and tried before gave up. Rubber ball were harder to explode than balloon. So far I cannot managed to make the chakra flow at my palm like I wanted. How does Naruto did it? I thought for a while. Hm. I got up and tried manipulated my chakra from different direction. In the end, I was drenched with sweated.

"Argh! How annoying!" I still unable to explode the rubber ball. I walked out of the Room of Requirement to Slytherin place. What time it is? I mused.

"Tempus!" I saw it already 4:00 am. Oh shit! That late, huh? I better hurried up.

I walked through the Slytherin door and jumped when I saw Snape in the common room. Uhuh! I am dead.

"Ethan, do you know what time it is? Do you remember my rules? Slytherin rules?" Professor Snape questioned me while sipping the tea calmly.

"Um..Yeah..I mean yes, Professor!" I stuttered. Sweated pouring from my head.

"How do you know that I am out of the bed?" I asked and then remember about fanfiction that I read regarding the ward that had been put by Professor and it will alert Professor Snape.

"Why? So you can tried to break the rules or what? I'm wondering what you're doing after curfew? Care to explain? Or do you think you're above the rules?"Wow, Snape. No need to push a knife at my heart. I thought.

"I'm not trying to break the rules! I can't sleep so that's why.."

"..that's why you decided to explore the Castle at night?" interrupted Professor Snape with grim face.

"I..I.." I stuttered, unable to explain. I looked at my feet. I heard him sighed.

"Tomorrow after class, come to our Quartes!" Professor Snape ordered. I nodded.

"Verbal answer, Ethan!" He said sternly.

"Yes, Professor Snape." I am not sure what to call him when situation like this. Should I call Uncle sev or Professor Snape? I sighed. Professor Snape told me to go to sleep because it was already late. I wished him goodnight. I knew that it's morning but I hope it will melt his heart. Haha. Who I am joking.
