Chapter 19

Eh? Seeker?

It happened like in the movie. Professor McGonagall brought us to Oliver Wood and told him that she managed to find Gryffindor's seeker. Wood looked vey happy, like someone just gave him an early Christmas's present. Professor McGonagall dismissed Harry and Wood.

"Follow me, Mr Kingcrown!" I tried to catch up with her speed. Where does she want to go? Eh? Potion Class?

"Professor Snape! Do you mind if I talked to you for a while?" I saw Professor Snape appointed one of the Ravenclaw's student to watch the class. It seems fifth year students. I mused.

"I want to ask you if you will allow Mr Kingcrown join the Slytherin's quidditch team. He's a brilliant and a great flyer." Professor McGonagall exclaimed excitedly. Professor Snape raised an eyebrow at that declaration.

"How does you know about it? I thought he have flying lesson at this moment?" Professor Snape asked. Professor McGonagall told Professor Snape about what had happened at flying lesson. He narrowed his eyes at me. I smiled sheepishly, rubbing my back neck. After that, Professor McGonagall left me with Professor Snape.

"Come to my quarters after dinner." Professor Snape ordered.

"Yes, Sir!" I said and then left quickly. I can feel that his eyes boring into my head.

Knock! Knock!

"Come in!" Professor Snape said. I entered his quarters. He told me to sit.

"Care to explain what had happened in flying class?" Professor Snape asked and sipped his tea. I explained to him about Longbottom's remembrall and Malfoy attitude. He stay silent for a moment.

"Why do you think it is necessary to pick up a fight? You just can wait until Madam Hooch came back. It is because of Potter?" Professor Snape stated.

"Of course not! Harry didn't ..I mean it's not related to Harry at all. Besides, I think it is cruel to do that." I said, almost shouted at the end of my sentence. My cheek turned pink when I realised about it.

"Sorry. I do not mean to shouted at you." I mumbled. Professor Snape stared at me and sighed.

"You're acting like a Gryffindor. Tomorrow tonight you will have detention with me at 9 p.m. Come to Potion classroom." I nodded. He dismissed me. I left quickly as fast as I can. Fuh! I am glad that I do not get spank by him.

"What do we have today?" I asked Zabini and yawn. "Sorry. Sorry. I cannot sleep at all last night." Zabini nodded while eating bacons. I chose to eat vegetables omelets, potatoes, a toast and apple juice while Nott prefer to eat Bacon, scrambles eggs, sausages and pumpkin juice.

"Today, we have only astronomy class. Hm. It seems our class is at night." Zabini said, looking at his schedule. How troublesome.

"At what time? Because I have detention tonight with Professor Snape." Zabini told Astronomy class start at 12 a.m.

"So, what you guys want to do today?" Nott asked with curious tone. Zabini said that he want to finish his Potion essay and read a little bit about History of Magic. I told them I will spend my time at Library.

"What about you?" I asked Nott while stabbing my eggs with a fork.

"I want to go back to sleep." Nott smirked at us.

After dinner, I spend my time with Zabini playing chess. Nott just sitting near us, readinh his book. At 9 p.m, I told them that I need to go for my detention. They smirked and wished me goodluck. Bastard! My eyebrows twitched.

"I want you wash all the flask and 3 Cauldron at the sink. You may begin." Professor Snape instructed me. I nodded and went to the sink. How annoying. After finishing it, Professor Snape told me to sit on the chair and wrote 'I will obey the rules' 30 times. I tried to protest but Professor Snaoe silence me with a look.

"Againts my better judgement, you will become Slytherin Seeker. I already informed Mr Flint about it. He will talk to you about practice schedule." Professor Snape began the conversation. I gaped at him. What? Become a seeker? I must be misheard.

"Proceed with your writing, Ethan. No need to gape like an idiot." I flushed when he scolded me. Urgh! You know Snape, you can gave me a nice comment. I pouted.

"Thanks, uncle sev!" I beamed with delight. He told me to finish my writing because I need to go to Astronomy class later. After 2 hours 30 minutes, I finished my detention and had been dismissed by him. I went to Astronomy class quickly to informed my friend about this. Hehe. It seems Harry and I will play againts each other.
