A taste of a story that have been bugging me for months now.

My initial attempt to get my creative juices flowing once again.

THIRD

The Yotsuba as a whole, his mother and aunt, and Miyuki even, are aware that he was capable of two different magical abilities.

Shiba Tatsuya preferred that.

Decomposition and Regrowth are formidable and flashy enough to occupy the attention of his cowardly family.

He would rather not unveil to them that he is capable of a Third Magic.

His Third Magic was nowhere near as destructive or as formidable as his Decomposition nor was it as miraculous as his Regrowth, but his [Spiritual Domination] Magic was more flexible than his other two magic.

He would rather keep that secret to himself.

For now at least.

LOVE

If there was one thing that Tatsuya would thank Shiba Miya for, it is limiting his emotions.

Emotions are nothing more than a hindrance. It dulls the mind and provokes people to commit errors that are detrimental to oneself.

No, Tatsuya was glad that his 'mother' stripped him of his emotions.

He doesn't need strong emotions to function properly.

He was also happy that his mother limited his ability to love.

Miyuki, his beloved little sister, deserves his love. She's beautiful and interesting enough for him to never get bored of her.

His mother and aunt are a distant second, but they would die before him. Unfortunate, really, he enjoys watching the games that his mother and aunt play with each other. They were amazing

Fortunately, Miyuki would live long enough to amuse him for the rest of his days.

It's just a matter of them staying together.

An easy feat considering their circumstances.

AMUSEMENT

If Tatsuya was being honest, the fear that his family has for him amuses him.

Yes, if push comes to shove, Tatsuya could wipe the entirety of the Yotsuba Clan off the face of the earth. Truthfully, it would have been easy for him, and he has all the reason to do so.

But Tatsuya is pragmatic at his very core. Even if he was a 'servant', and Tatsuya uses that word very lightly considering how well his relationship with Miyuki are this days and that nobody in the Yotsuba has the capacity to truly challenge him, being connected with the Yotsuba gave him advantages and connections that would not be available to him if he was not a member of the Yotsuba.

The Yotsuba Clan is a feared organization, well connected, rich with resources, monetarily and otherwise. Tatsuya would be foolish to cut his ties with them, even if he is powerful enough to eradicate anyone that would ever bother him.

In fact, he was willing to 'play' nice with his family if they return the same courtesy.

Unfortunately, they were not willing to play nice with, which was amusing.

Miyuki cares for them, and that's the only reason why he was ignoring all the slights directed at him. Still, his care for Miyuki has its limits and his amusement for his family can only go so far.

If his limits are push, Tatsuya was not above turning the more annoying members of his family into functioning automatons.

CARE

In this entire world, Tatsuya cares about three people.

Just three people.

The Kuroba Twins, he like them enough but not enough for him to actually protect them if he was not in the mood.

Regardless though, the Kuroba Twins has potential for him to give a damn about them.

Still, there are only three important people in his life.

First and foremost, Miyuki. He values her above anything or anyone else in this forsaken world. He would do anything for her. He would create and destroy anything for her and her alone.

Yes, part of him would admit that mindset is by design, but Tatsuya was aware that his soul would have prioritize Miyuki above all else either way.

After all, his 'soul' considered Miyuki his greatest of priority, and his mother's abilities were not strong enough to lay a finger upon his soul.

The other two people are his mother, Shiba Miya, and his aunt, Yotsuba Maya.

Tatsuya might not love them, and if given enough of a reason, he would happily disposed of them, but they were amusing enough for him to value and protect them if the need arises.

Funnily enough, Tatsuya likes looking at them in retrospect. It is like looking at a different side of him. His mother represents the cold logic that he operates with while his aunt represents the dark personality that he suppresses.

Also, his mother and aunt are quite pretty to look at it and they serve as contrast to his Miyuki.

Tatsuya loves comparing his beloved sister to the two being that resembled her in looks and he enjoys identifying the ways in which Miyuki would bloom to an even greater beauty than the Yotsuba twins.

MOTHER

Tatsuya both admires and pities his mother.

He admires her because, regardless of her inadequacy as a mother, Shiba Miya is a brilliant magician and a genius in every way conceivable when it comes to magic and sciences. In fact, Miya is such a brilliant Magician, Articifier, and Researcher that even Tatsuya felt somewhat in adequate when compare to her.

That said, Tatsuya pitied his mother for having such a weak spirit.

Tatsuya was well aware of his mother's past. He was well aware of the tragedies that defined their family for decades now, the tragedies that define his mother. He was well aware of how those tragedies broke his mother.

That made his mother weak.

Say what you will about Yotsuba Maya, but after the travesty that had befallen upon her, she picked herself up and became better than ever, though with questionable sanity. Yotsuba Maya took a hit from the world, said ouch, before getting back on her feet and making the world bleed right back.

Tatsuya knew what his aunt did to earn the name the Queen of Night and the Demon Lord of the Far East, and he applauds her for the ruthlessness and creativity, as well as the sadism and cruelty that his aunt wielded and displayed in her heyday.

His mother on the other hand, although she turned out amazing, Tatsuya could not help but feel disappointed that she had become lesser on what she could have possibly been.

DEATH

Tatsuya did not fear death. He is aware and accepting at the fact that he will one day die.

The day of his death would not be today, nor would it be tomorrow, nor would it be for many years to come.

In Tatsuya's honest assumption, the number of people who has the capacity to kill him can be counted in one hand, and that would be a tossup because those people can kill him if they could surprised him and if he allowed them to kill him, and there is only person in this world who can put him down permanently.

Death will not touch him because death is incapable of touching him.

He intends to die in bed with Miyuki by his side.

That is his primary life goal.

Still, he is aware that people fear death.

For example, his mother, though accepting of the fact that her death is inevitable, is terrified at the concept of never opening her eyes again.

She hid it well, and Tatsuya applaud her for her will, but he could still sense the fear within her at her impending death.

A part of Tatsuya, a big part of him, did not care. Yes, he cares for Miya to an insignificant degree. Yes, she amuses him to an extent. Yes, he admires the woman for her brilliances.

That being said, Tatsuya did not care whether his mother would die or not.

If and/or when Shiba Miya dies, Tatsuya was well aware that he would feel nothing.

He will not shed a single tear for her.

But Miyuki would be devastated.

And that is simply unacceptable.

DECISION

Tatsuya was well aware that his mother is one foot on the grace. A few months from now, she would be dead.

Tatsuya is aware that his Regrowth is incapable of preserving his mother's life. Even with the assistance of his third magic, his Regrowth would not be potent enough to spare Shba Miya from death.

She had been dying for years now, and his Regrowth was not capable of reverting years of damage.

Still, if he started now, if he shelves all of his researches and projects right now, he could find a way to save his mother.

The question in his mind right now is to whether make the attempt or not.

A big part of him did not want to make the attempt.

Shiba Miya had lost her will to live a long time ago. He knows it, Maya knows it, and the woman herself knows it. The magician and woman known as the Mistress of Lethe died the day she botched the resurrection of her twin sister. The only reason Miya still breathes today was due to her duty to the Yotsuba. It was a self-appointed duty, but it was a duty that fueled Miya's life from then to now.

Now, Shiba Miya had met all the expectations that the Yotsuba had placed on her shoulders. She birthed two remarkable Magicians, and yes, Tatsuya would admit that he was a remarkable magician, even with his limitations. She furthered the knowledge of the Clan when it comes to Outer Systematic Magic and Mental Interference Magic. She had even contributed to the coffers of the family considerably through her company FLT.

It was not a happy life, but Shiba Miya lived a fulfilling life.

A large part of Tatsuya was telling him to let his mother rest, that she had suffered enough in this lifetime.

Another reason to allow Miya to die was that it would allow Miyuki to grow, both as a person and as a magician. Miyuki is the most important person in Tatsuya's life, but he would admit to himself that Miyuki was naive and weak, to his standards at least. Losing Miya would force Miyuki to grow by leaps and bounds.

But losing Miya would devastate Miyuki, and a part of him, that protective and obsessive part of him that treasures Miyuki above anything this world could offer, does not want Miyuki to suffer any form of hardship.

Looking at the pitiful state of his mother and his despondent sister, Tatsuya made a decision.

When it comes to Miyuki, Tatsuya would always be selfish and illogical.

SOUL

The [Soul] is a subject of magic that is rarely studied.

There are many magical studies regarding the concept of the 'Mind' and the 'Heart' in magic, with the Yotsuba having many comprehensive researches and thesis regarding the former. Even the concept of the 'Spirit' was studied by some magical researchers and artificers

The concept of the [Soul], no one had ever even thought of magically studying such a concept.

People often mistake that the [Soul] is equivalent to the [Spirit], henceforth, nobody bothers to ever study the [Soul] in a magical context.

Except for Tatsuya.

Tatsuya's third magic allows him to dominate Spirits, Pushion, particles, and utilizes them in many ways, hence the name [Spiritual Domination]. Another aspect of this Magic is that it allows him the ability to project his soul to the outside world.

Tatsuya have seen what his soul looks like and he was able to use his very soul as a tool.

If this magic gave him the ability to use his soul as a tool, then manipulating other souls should also be possible.

It's just a matter of making those souls malleable.

BODY

There were many positives in him joining the 101 Independent Magic-Equipped Battalion.

Meeting one Fujibayashi Kyouko is one of those positives.

By his standards, she is an excellent Magician, although pedestrian in combat, all things consider. She doesn't have a chance against him in a straight fight, but, again, there is only a handful of magicians capable of fighting him with the hopes of surviving. Still, she is a good magician and an even better hacker, arguably, the best in the world. He was fortunate enough to see the infamous Electron Sorceress work, and by doing so, he was able to at least copy her techniques.

His hacking abilities are not as refine as hers, but cheap imitation of the Electron Sorceress is still formidable to wreak havoc upon the World Wide Web.

Currently, Tatsuya is browsing images of girls throughout the world. Not for perverse reasons of course. He is blessed to be able to see the visage of the most beautiful girl in the world in a daily basis. From what he had seen so far, his sister is still the most beautiful girl in the world.

The reason Tatsuya was browsing images of girls is for the sake of his mother.

Tatsuya had discovered that he cannot save his mother's body.

No, her body was already too damage to be salvage.

Her soul on the other, that's a different story.

Tatsuya was going to find his mother a good body.

He just needs to find, a young, pretty girl for his mother to occupy.

His mother lived her entire life as a beautiful woman. If he picked an average looking girl, he knew that he was going to get flak from her.

FATE

Regardless of his logical mindset and limited emotions, Tatsuya believed in fate, irrational it might seems.

After all, people are born with predetermined talents and abilities, Magicians more so.

He was born with his three powers, with all the strengths and weaknesses, and advantages and limitations it entails.

That was fate at work.

But Tatsuya believed that fate had stopped giving a damn the day an individual was born. Tatsuya believed that fate only intervenes during an individual's conception.

Thus, whatever his life leads him to, that is solely on him.

His fate is in his hands.

Fate might have had a hand on what he is right now, but what he could be, was entirely up to him.

Whoever would be affected by his decisions, fate would not have a hand on it. It would be sorely on him.

Tatsuya glanced at a picture of a young girl. That girl had all the qualities that would make her a good vessel for his mother. Magically talented, young and healthy, with zero history of regressive health problems from her and/or her family. She was the same age as his sister, and she has Japanese Blood in her veins. She is also quite acceptable in the beauty department.

A lovely little vessel for his failure of a mother.

The problem, though minor, was the fact that the girl was in the USNA. Capable as he is, he cannot traverse Japan and USNA in a day. He is also not capable of raiding a Stars Military Base in a day. He can, but not without unveiling magic that he would rather keep secret for now.

Not to mention, although this was very minor, he would rather avoid an international incident that can lead to World War 4.

He'd rather not fight in a World War. Redrawing maps and relearning geography would be too much of a bother.

In his estimate, Tatsuya needed four days to a week in USNA to get his mother's vessel, and that is a week that his family would not grant him, regardless of his intentions. Of course, he could brute force himself to get that week in USNA, no one would be able to stop him. The problem would be that the Yotsuba might be vindictive enough to cause him problems in those four days.

Contemplating for a strategy, Tatsuya decided to ask permission rather than forgiveness.

For courtesy if nothing else.

After all, whether or not he was permitted, he was going through with his plans.

For Miyuki.

(Scene Change)

Maya raised a brow at the image of her 'son' sitting across her.

It was quite a surprised when her 'son' suddenly made a visit.

It happened quite quickly.

She heard a peculiar news that Tatsuya appeared within the main residence out of nowhere, asking for an audience with her, an audience that she would have granted considering that it was a son's right to see 'his' mother whenever he wants to, but apparently, her servants denied her son access to her.

That irritated her, angered her even, her but her mood quickly brightens when she heard that Tatsuya stormed the residence just to get to her.

It took Tatsuya a minute flat to tear through her servants and guards to get to her study.

She's flattered with the urgency that her 'son' showed just to see her. She was very flattered.

Still, she has an image to maintain.

Unfortunate, really. She wanted some bonding time with her 'son'!

"I honestly expected a rebellion from Miyuki-chan in four years." Maya said airily, amusement clear in her voice. "I did not expect her to rebel this quickly."

"Miyuki is not rebelling." Tatsuya replied, playing along with Maya's whims. "She does not even know that I am here."

A glimmer of interest flashed within Maya's eyes. "I see. Miyuki-chan should really keep you in a shorter leash." Maya remarked teasingly.

"Our relationship isn't that far yet, but if we are to reach that level of relations, I am not going to be the one who would be wearing the leash." Tatsuya replied with a smile that was identical to Maya's. "Miyuki can be quite agreeable with the right touch."

This caught Maya off guard. That single sentence contained more emotion and personality that Tatsuya ever displayed in his life.

Maya was so caught off guard that it allowed Tatsuya to retrieve a manila folder from his coat before sliding it across the table to Maya. "I am here to ask permission for this." Tatsuya informed his aunt.

That statement brought Maya back to earth. Maya briefly looked at her 'son' before taking the manila enveloped that he slid towards her. Opening and retrieving the contents of the envelope, which happens to be a hundred page research paper, Maya began reading the contents of the papers.

Tatsuya would never give her something that is less than impressive.

20 minutes later, Maya called for her most trusted confidant.

"Hayama-san..." Maya called her butler and confidant, all teasing and playfulness in her voice vanishing.

Swiftly, Hamaya appeared besides Maya.

"Yes, Toushu-sama?" Hayama answered dutifully, a look of curiosity on his face as he eyed Tatsuya wearily. Like Maya, Hayama was curious on why Tatsuya was acting out of character.

"Prepare some tea for me and coffee for Tatsuya-kun." Maya ordered simply. "It appears that we are going to have quite a long conversation."

Hayama bowed politely before exiting the study to obey his clan head.

"Are you capable of what you are proposing?" Maya asked seriously and urgently.

Tatsuya answered by merely snapping his fingers.

A humanoid-figure made out of silver light came to life behind him.

Maya looked at the 'thing' that manifested behind her 'son's' back before turning her full attention back to Tatsuya.

"You've been holding back on us." Maya stated simply, not showing a reaction towards this new development.

"A magician never reveals all of his tricks." Tatsuya answered with a casual shrugged.

This earned him a laugh from Maya.

"Considering the hostility of the family towards you, I cannot exactly blame you." Maya conceded. "Still, why bother saving Nee-san? I figured that you don't care either way whether she lives or die." Maya inquired, genuinely interested.

"I really don't. She dies right now, I won't shed a tear." Tatsuya confessed easily. "But Miyuki would be devastated."

"Is that the only reason you want to save Nee-san?" Maya pressed, wanting to know if this Tatsuya really developed a personality.

That experiment conducted on Tatsuya crippled his emotional capacity. The Yotsuba Twins theorize that Tatsuya is not capable of developing a complex personality.

Apparently, they were wrong. Tatsuya was just a good actor, enough to fool her and everybody else.

How fascinating.

"Mostly." Tatsuya confirmed. "A minor part of me wanting to save her is me not wanting to lose one of the three people in this world that I find some value in."

There was a visible pause in Maya's expression before a flash of hostility appeared in Maya's eyes.

"I am one of those three people that you value, right?" Maya asked, a psychotic edge in her voice.

There was a challenge in Maya's voice, daring him to exclude him from those people that he values.

"If it means anything to you, you are the second person in this world that I value. My mother is third." Tatsuya answered Maya without losing any composure.

Tatsuya was aware at how deep Maya affections for him is. Her love for him is almost as twisted as his love for Miyuki.

Regardless of that knowledge, Tatsuya was being honest. He values Maya over his own mother, for the simple reason that Maya can have more of an impact in Miyuki's life than Miya ever could, even if Miya remains living. Tatsuya prefers that Maya would only affects Miyuki's life in a positive light.

Maya was oblivious to that reasoning though as a surge of pure euphoria and joy course through her.

She finally got verbal and honest confirmation that her 'son' loves her!

She knew, she always knew in her hearts of hearts, that her 'son' loves, and that she loves her more than that walking incubator that carried him to term. She knew, always and without fail, faithfully and unwavering, that her son loves her dearly.

It was just unfortunate that she was second in her 'son's' heart. It was by design, but still, it was saddening for a mother to be second in her 'son's' heart.

Maya was once again interrupted from her paradise when Hayama entered her study.

For the first time in her life, Maya was tempted to put a hole between Hayama's eyes for interrupting this important moment between 'mother' and 'son'. Fortunately for him, good help was hard to find this days, and Hayama is a friend.

Maya and Tatsuya halted their conversation to allow Hayama to set up the refreshments on the table between them.

When the task was completed, Hayama bowed at both Maya and Tatsuya before making his way to the exit.

Before Hayama could step out of the study though, Maya gave an order. "Lock the door, and cancel all my appointments tomorrow." Maya ordered calmly as she took a tea cup filled with hot tea to her lips. "This conversation might take longer than plan." Maya added as she sip some tea from her cup.

Hayama nodded before exiting the study, locking it as ordered.

This left the two incredibly powerful magician, with varying degrees of sanity, alone in the room.

"Why are you asking for permission?" Maya asked with a small smile. "If you really wanted to save Nee-san for Miyuki-san, there is very little that I could do to stop you."

"You won't stop me if I force the issue." Tatsuya stated, eyes fixed on his aunt. "You may have a quarrel with Miya, but you love her. It may be twisted, but you love her."

Maya found delight that her son was not referring to his incubator as his 'mother'. She took that as confirmation that Tatsuya did not acknowledge that incubator as his 'mother', which was something that Maya would celebrate later.

Also, Maya would concede to that previous statement. She did love her twin sister, though her love for her was twisted and corrupted like Tatsuya claimed it to be.

"Also, it doesn't matter whether or not you can stop me from doing this. If I am out of the country for a period of time, short or long term, your clan would panic, and I'd rather avoid dealing with them when I return."

Maya giggled at that mental image. That is true as well. Tatsuya was too powerful to be left unwatched.

Maya began wondering if her spies had noticed that Tatsuya was not with Miyuki at the moment.

"Lastly, regardless of my intent, kidnapping a Strategic-Class Magician of an allied nation would be frown upon by most of your clansmen. They might prove a hindrance to me, and they are at least capable of that. Any hindrance might result in me using tactics that would result into a World War."

Maya perked up at that sentence.

"You'll plunged this world into war to save Nee-san?" Maya asked in anticipation.

"For Miya, no." Tatsuya answered bluntly as he took his cup of coffee from the table. "For Miyuki, I'll destroy this world. I don't value Miya to that degree. I will level the entirety of the USNA for her though."

"For me though, what are you willing to do?" Maya asked, her voice dripping with psychotic anticipation and demented eagerness.

Tatsuya looked at her straight in the eye before downing the contents of his cup.

It was excellent coffee, as expected of Hayama-san's work.

"For you..." Tatsuya began slowly as he solemnly looked at her, a contemplative look in his eyes. "...fine, World War." Tatsuya answered with a casual ease.

Tatsuya was being honest in that answer. Tatsuya did value Maya enough to plunge the world into the fourth world war.

Another surge of pleasure and ecstasy course through Maya's body at Tatsuya's confession.

Her son needed a gift, a prize, for his adorableness and honestly/

Hurriedly drowning the tea in her cup, forgetting all decorum and grace, Maya stood up from her chair before walking to the side. With a flourish move of her hands, she undid her wine red dress and allowed it to fall to the ground.

Maya unveiled her sinful visage to the boy that he had view as her 'son' since he was born. Her large breasts was in full display and her cunt was covered with a black, lacy thong.

"If you want my blessing, you have the entire night to convince me." Maya stated with a lustful and seductive voice.

Tatsuya looked at his aunt for a few seconds, admiring her beauty in a way that made Maya shiver in desire, before letting out a sigh. He stood from his chair and walked towards her.

"Things I do for love." Tatsuya grumbled before he knelt before Maya.

Maya could only stare in anticipation as she felt her 'son' lowering her thong to the ground. She could only bit her lips in excitement as she felt her 'son's' tongue invading her most private and sacred place.

She closed her eyes in sheer joy as her 'son' began providing her with pleasure.

She was going to enjoy this 'negotiation' between herself and her son.

Wrote this during work. Decided that I'm going to make this a full story. I want to write a demented Yotsuba Family with Tatsuya, Miyuki, Maya, and Miya at the head.

This fic would be call Possession, and its first chapter will be out next month.
