Chapter 32

Dragon II

I decided to take a walk around the lake to clear my mind about the Dragon. I am not sure whether it was a wise decision to make. Who knows how angry Snape will be at me if our plan to smuggle Dragon out of this Hogwarts at night. Should I tell Snape? I thought and sighed.

"Hey, Ethan!" I turned my head to the right and saw Zabini with Nott.

"Yo!" I said, waving at them.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked as soon as they came near me.

"We are trying to find you if you want to study at Library." Zabini explained.

"Why are you look trouble? Is there something wrong?" Nott blurt out the question. Zabini raised an eyebrow at this and looked at me. He gazed at me with serious expression.

"Ah, it's nothing." I said.

"Are you sure?" Zabini and Nott asked at the same time.

"Yup. Don't worry about me. Why don't we go to the Library?" I said, trying to steer the conversation about me. They looked at each other and nodded. I am glad that did not pressure me even though their face show that they want to ask me more about it.

"Let's go to Lunch." Zabini said after 2 hours studying.

"Yup. Let's go. My brain will explode if we continue to study." I chuckled hearing Nott statement. We got up and walked out from the Library.

On our way, I saw Harry, Granger and Longbottom talking with a Weasley.

"What are you looking at?" I startled when Zabini patted my shoulder.

"Ah, just looking at the Gryffindor." I said, looking at my friend.

For a moment, my eyes met with Harry. We nodded at each other before going our own way.

After lunch, I went to Snape Quarter to avoid any noise. I sat on the couch, trying to relax my mind.

"Is something matter, Ethan?"

"Kyaa!" I shouted due to shock. "Uncle sev!" I saw him coming through the door.

"Are you sick?" I nodded, feeling Snape's hand on my forehead.

"Hm. You did not have any fever." I heard him muttered.

He sat besides me and I quickly snuggled at him.

"Are you having a problem?" I shook my head.

"Then, why does your face seems trouble?" I heard Snape's tone fill of concern.

"I am fine, Uncle sev. Just a little bit tired." I gave an excused. I knew it quite pathetic but come on. If he knew about Dragon, he will kill me. I fell asleep without realizing it.

I blink twice, looking at the white ceiling. It seems Snape carried me. I got up and stretched my body before taking a shower. It almost dinner time.

"Hey, are you sure you're ok? You kind of lost in thought for a while." I startled when Nott elbow me.

"Ah, nothing. Just worry about something." I explained, hesitated.

Zabini looked at Ethan and exchange looked with Nott.

"If you say so." Zabini hummed.

I ate mashed potatoes with chicken wings quickly. I can feel my friends eyes on me.

At 11:00 p.m, I sneak out from the Slytherin Common Room to meet with idiot Gryffindors.

"Psst. Harry." I said quietly at Harry. Harry, Longbottom, Granger and Weasley turned at their head to the right. Weasley seems holding a basket contains the Dragon.

"Ethan!" Harry said, happy seeing Ethan.

"Why...Weasley here?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Ah, you..you know.." Harry glanced at his Gryffindor's friend for help.

"I don't want to know." I interrupted Harry and sighed. Sometimes Fate works funny.

We waited for a while and let Charlie Weasley took the Dragon before going to our Common room.

"What do we have here?" I flinched inwardly hearing Professor McGonagall voice. From corner of my eyes, I saw all of them pale. Ah, shit. Snape will kill me. I saw Malfoy smirked at us.

She lectured us and took points from Gryffindor and Slytherin.

"Excuse me, Professor. I heard you say 6. I think you mean 5." Malfoy said.

"No, Mr Malfoy. 6 including you." I smirked at this.

We were escort to our Common room. I shrank seeing Snape who was sitting ont he couch, waiting for Malfoy and I.

"Professor!" Malfoy said, shocked.

"Mr Malfoy and Mr Kingcrown. Go to your dorm. We will discuss it tomorrow." Professor Snape said with stern. We nodded and left as fast as we can.

"We are dead." Malfoy muttered and went to his room. For once, I agreed with him.
