Chapter 33

Punishment

I yawned for the third time, half listening to Professor Flitwick's lecture. I cannot sleep well last night due to worry about Snape's punishment. I hope that there was no spanking.

I sighed seeing Nott giving me a cold shoulder after he and Zabini learnt about yesterday event.

"Don't worry too much. He will calm down later." Zabini tried to assure me.

"I hope so." I muttered, rubbing my eyes. After an hour, the class ended.

"Ah, Transfiguration." I got up and walked with Zabini and Nott. I am glad even though Nott angry with me, he still willingly to walk besides me.

We enterd the classroom and I looked at Harry, Longbottom along with Granger and Weasley were glared by others Gryffindor. Ouch, must be hurt. I nodded at them and sat with Zabini. Transfiguration class for today seems interesting. I took a note about this topic.

"Since when you act like this?" Zabini teased me. I glared at him and continues to take note. I knew he was joking so I did not get angry.

At lunchtime, I saw Ken, Snape's owl flying towards me. I took the note and read it. I must be in a lot of hell. I sighed and decided to finish my lunch early.

I took my time to meet Snape in his quarter. I went to Library, met with Harry and others, after that I went to walk around the Lake.

"Tempus!" I decided that it's time for me to face Snape.

"Hi, uncle Sev." I greeted him quietly as soon as I saw him.

"You're late." My eyes went to the shelves so I did not met his eyes.

"Ah. I have things to do." I knew my excuse sound pathetic but as long as I had reason..it's ok, right?

"Did you?" I cringe when I heard his tone and sighed. I told him the real reason. Silence.

"Come here." My eyes widened. No way, he want to spank me without saying anything.

I stood in front of him. His hand gripped both of my arm.

"Thank you for being honest with me." I nodded.

"You do know that I care for you?"

"I know, uncle sev." I muttered.

"Then, why did you not come to tell me about this? At least you will be able to avoid this trouble." I met his eyes. Feeling remorse.

"I'm disappointed in you." Tears gathering in my eyes.

"Sorry, uncle sev." I said, bitting my bottom lips.

"Let's go through the punishment first. You will be ground. Except for class, you will stay in our quarter. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in here. Next, write 3 inch essay about Why Dragon is Dangerous. Do you understand?"

I wince at the punishment. "Yes, uncle sev."

"Lastly, you will be spank."

"But..you already.." I shut my mouth when he make a gesture for me to shut up using his pointed finger.

"We both know you deserve it. Do not stall, Ethan."

I cried after 10 swats.

"Five more and we are done."

Smack! Smack! I jumped and sobs harder.

My bottom felt like it was on fire. I pray it will ended. Suddenly, the spanking stop. I clenched Snape's robes, crying.

"Shushh. It's over. You're forgiven." A few minutes passed, I felt my eyes dropped.

"Why don't you take a nap for a while?" I heard Snape said and lifting me up. I lay my head on his shoulder.

"Ethan, wake up or you will miss the dinner."

"Hn." I whine and snuggled deeper into my pillow.

"Up. Come on." I rubbed my eyes and got up from the bed due to Snape kept nagging me. I wash my face and brush my teeth.

"Ok. Not bad." I said to myself in front of the mirror.

"If you have any problem, do not hesitate to tell me, ok?" I looked at Snape before we entered the Great Hall.

"Ok, uncle sev! Promise!" I said, giving him a peace sign. I gave him a quick hug and both of us entered the hall.

"Hey, guys." I sat in front of Nott and Zabini. They greeted me back.

"Where have you been?" I grimaced when Nott asked me.

"Ah. No need to worry." I said, quickly a garlic bread mac-n-cheese in my mouth.

Nott and Zabini looked at their friend behaviour.

"What?" I said, after swallowing the bread.

"Nevermind." I almost sighed in relief when Zabini said that.

"Mr Kingcrown." I looked up and saw Professor McGonagall.

"Yes, professor?" From my corner eyes, Zabini and Nott stared at us.

"You will have detention tonight at 8:00 p.m. Come to my office."

"I understand, professor." I nodded and sighed when he left.

"I pity you, Ethan." Nott smirked at me. I glared at him.
