Gon's eyes were blank. They no longer were bright, shining, or anything. They was just, blank. He felt numb as he was trudging behind Feitan sowly.

"Oi, hurry up." Feitan called. Damn the boy was slow. He thought. Then again, he remembered that he had been torturing him for a few days now.

Feitan sighed in defeat as he knew that the boy will not be able to quicken his pace. He walked back towards him, expecting Gon to flinch or something from having his torturer come towards him. Gon just stared in front, Feitan the one flinching now. His eyes were so scary. If the boy were to use Nen currently, it would probably injure the phantom troupe member.

He just held the boy in his arms bridal style with a teeny tiny bit of gentleness now that he had accepted to join them. "You know you could have gotten much less pain thah this had you accepted before."

Gon did not reply. He was shocked, but aware of everything. All he can do is become mute, and obey. He already barely could speak. They might add to his torture even more if he stopped talking all together, but then they will have to accept reality and deal with him not talking. If they did decide to torture him more, he was senseless. He could not feel anything anymore. He had felt enough. His body would probably heal with a lot of scars and spots that he can't feel even if touched.

Gon decided to doze off a little. Even though he was in very dangerous arms, he wanted to close an eye, rest for just second. However, he never anticipated going completely unconscious from being tense for a long time. The very second he relaxed, darkness engulfed him...

Feitan felt the sudden relaxation, the mass was slightly heavier from the loosening of the muscles. He raised an eyebrow. Did the boy surrender to him? Or was he developing a Stockholm Syndrome? A syndrome that had the prisoner fall in love with their captor. Damn it if it was the case. He did not want to have to deal with a lovesick injured twelve year old boy.

He peered over the boy as he realized that the sudden slackening was because the boy had gone unconscious. He mentally praised the boy for holding up this much. Other people would have died already, but this boy had a resolve to live. And live he did.

When he entered the main room, where Chrollo and the other membered were, he got curious looks and stiffled laughters.

"What? Did he die?" Nobunaga asked.

"Him? Die? As if! Even if i punctured a lung or his heart he would live." He spoke sarcastically. But he was somehow truthful, after all, Gon's Nen seemed to have a good portion of it made to heal him, which explains how he held up with the torture.

"Then what is with the holding?" Phinx asked suggestively.

"He was so slow that i felt i would prefer to accompany a turtle than him." Lies. He felt a little bit of pity towards the brave boy... but of course, no one sensed the lie.

"And the unconsciousness?" Machi asked.

"Once i held him, his body gave away and he lost consciousness."

"Oh."

"When do you expect him to wake up?" Chrollo asked, not planning on waiting for so long...

Feitan replied "I do not know, boss. However, with his severe and quite bloody condition, a few days at least. If you want to quicken it up, we will have to start healing him." He sort of hoped they would heal him. A child with such a resolve would be a shame to have wincing or screaming in pain for the next god knows how much time if he moved an inch...

"Heal him. I don't want to have to wait days because of your doings, Feitan." Chrollo said as if it was Feitan who harmed the boy without anyone's consent knowing it was the very opposite.

"Yes, boss. Machi, come please. We can heal him in another room" Feitan said, walking out to another empty room in the place, Machi following suit causally.

"You know, you should have gone easier on the boy. He is just twelve, god knows how he handled it all and still is alive." Machi said as she sewed the bigger gashes first.

"You think I care?" Feitan said. Lies... He did care, but he wanted the boy to join them as bad as the boss. He seemed to be one hell of an addition of he joined.

"Hm, reasonable." She said, silence hanging around the room with only the sound breathing in the room of three occupants. With every healed injury, no scars left, Gon's face took on a softer expression. An little under two hours spent on healing Gon were worth how he look now. They saw how he really looked without a single scratch. He actually looked cute.

When Machi's Nen stopped, Gon's body shifted on the futon he was layed on so that he was on his right side, facing both phantom members.

His face looked peaceful and tender, arms curled up his chest with his curled hand tucked under his chin. His legs were bent and somewhere near his chest, but considerably far. Machi and Feitan, despite actually being almost heartless -almost- they found Gon somehow cute. They knew twelve year olds did not look that cute. Something about Gon made him look younger than twelve, minus the height for he was Feitan's height, quite tall for twelve, but unusually cute.

"Let's go, i put an alarm to notify me when he wakes up." Said Feitan, walking put of the room with Machi right behind.

The Genei Ryodan were all in the main room, thinking about how to deal with Gon when he awakens. They hoped he would not be a lot of troublemaker.

With Gon in a nightmare:

"Gon! You are worthless. Illumi was right, i did not need a friend like you" Killua said coldly.

"You are so dependant on others, Gon. Look where that took you." Said Kurapika, eyes scarlet.

"I lost my ripe fruit. Now i should just get rid of it" Hisoka said.

"You are just a child, Gon. Go back to your aunt. It is better for the all of us" Leoreo said.

end of nightmare

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Gon screamed in his sleep in full force. It was quite a loud volume that the sound reached Killua's ears as equally as it did to the troupe members.

"Feitan! You said you will be alrmed when he wakes up!" Machi said.

"I did, he is still asleep. I have no idea what is wrong with him." Chrollo heard Feitan, and followed him slowly along with Machi to see the boy once more, hoping not to have to stitch anything again.

The only reason Machi came was because if the boy was unlucky, the stitches on his stomach, the ones she couldn't heal the same as the rest, would rip apart and open from the tension of the body and scream.

They entered to a very disturbing sight. Gon, unconscious, was bleeding from his stomach, blanket aside as he thrashed in fear and anger in the futon.

"Damn it! He ripped the stitches." Machi said, annoyed. Her threads are usually strong, why did they rip this easily?

Chrollo watched in amusement, leaning on the doorframe to see how his spiders will deal with this.

Tossing and turning, Gon burned with fever. The stitches on his stomach tore open after the scream, it was infected previously which got the fever. Heat, heat, pain, blood...

It took a couple hours to calm him down, still sleeping, restitch the wound after cleaning it well this time. His fever was still there, and Machi was told to take care of him till it breaks.

Chrollo came nearer, taking a closer look at the teen. His face looked conflicted, sad, lost, but cute.

Then he left.

Machi had a heart, more than the other members, she felt sympathy for the boy. Forced to join after days of torture, his will to live probably broken, and now nightmares. He probably feels bad for being weak. He is not, he needs concentration only. Otherwise, he was almost as good as Feitan.

Feitan tried keeping the boy still, but damn it proved hard. In the end he got a kick in the stomach and an rough elbow in the shoulder. Those were going to be sore for sure...

As his fever was fading, Gon whimpered, a tear rolling down his cheek. Machi wiped it away, pet the boy's head in an attempt to calm him down. And she wished she never did...

Gon directly grabbed her arm, nuzzling his head in the inner elbow softly. Machi groaned, why did I have to be the soft girl of the troupe? she thought frustrated. Even asleep, Gon had a deadly grip on her arm.

"Phinx!" Maxhi shouted.

"Yes?" Phinx peered his head from the door.

"Can your free my arms please? He got hold of it and never let go. He has some iron grip in there." She said half sarcastically half acknowledging.

"Hai" (yes)

The following day, Gon's eyes fluttered open as he regained consciousness, slowly adapting to the light.

"Oh, the little spider has finally woken up" Feitan announced, walking to him, with Chrollo telling him to get the boy here.

"Yo. Morning." He said casually, rested on the door.

Gon stared with his blank eyes, and just nodded in reply. He was about to answer verbally, but remmebered the mute act.

"What? You don't speak now?" Feitan said, earning no reply of any sort, gesture wise or verbal wise.

Gon tried lifting himself on his feet, barely standing for a second before falling back on all four over the futon. He frowned a bit. Great... now his legs were asleep. Feitan sighed as he came over forward and carried the boy. No time to wait for him to adjust. The boss was waiting.

Once the two entered, Chrollo looked at the boy. Empty eyes. Emotionless. Definitely not willing to put a fight anymore.

"Well, well. Look who decided to join us. What is your name, boy?" Chrollo knew, but he wanted to hear his voice, and became some of the others still did not his name.

Silence was the reply. Feitan sighed again "Boss, he is not speaking. I tried urging him to speak, tried angering him to get a reaction. Nothing worked. He is a walking shell with a hell lot of powers. Probably a monster."

"Hmm, i see. You all are to treat him like one of us despite what he tries or does. If he feels welcome and accepted for who he is, he might speak. For now, Nobunaga, take him and inform him about his training schedule."
