The following day, Hisoka was summoned to train the young Specialist. He was quite surprised when he heard that Gon changed categories unexpectedly. He also knew that Gon was an enhancer, so it was a shock to him. On the other hand, it was nice to have someone else who is in the same caregory as him.
He lead the boy to the room he was supposed to be training in yesterday before he fainted. Gon, still blank eyed and silent, followed quietly. "Ne, Gon. I heard you stopped talking. What a shame... now you deprived me from my one source of satisfaction..."
Gon did not flinch, did not shiver, did not cower. He was starting to lose the feeling of fear, or being threatened, or the feeling of pain. He was just a powerful body of flesh and bones, void of any specific emotion. It may take a long while, or maybe a short one, to revert back to the old, well known, cheerful and happy- go- lucky Gon once more. Hisoka hoped he would be back to the Gon he knew, the Gon he wanted to fight so badly, waiting to take back his badge.
When they arrived, Hisoka said, and asked "Since you just learnt about the lovely Specialist category of yours, you will no ponger train like before. Specialists undergo different stages to reach an ability that is most compatible with their bodies. What happened when you did the water divination method?"
Gon pulled out the Nen paper and pen, and wrote: Water froze. Leaf copied. Cup levitated. Cup exploded. Cup mended.
He wrote with no care of grammar and such just for the sake of finishing what his Nen did to the cup quickly.
"Hmm, impressive. Very impressive. You will be one strong Specialist with good training, Gon." Gon nodded.
"We will start with trying to get the effects on water divination to real. If none worked, we will move on to try anything else. Now, here is a cup of water. Go stand in the far corner of the room, and concentrate your Nen to go and freeze the water in it." Hisoka instructed, his voice void of any sarcasm, teasing, or intent of scaring or killing. Just his natural smooth voice.
Gon walked to the end of the room, focused his Nen on his cup, the water specifically. He closed his eyes, imagining his aura smoothly surrounding him and shooting towards the water, freezing it. On the outside however, it was a totally different sight. Instead of the smooth fluid flow Gon had in his mind, a very large flames like shape engulfing him, head to toes. It covered him in a two meter radius.
Damn, he has power. He obviously thinks he is weak though, so he is pushing his Nen, urging it to grow. I should tell him to lower the level or his Nen will crush me. Hisoka thought nervously.
"Gon! Collect yourself. The water froze, and your Nen is almost overflowing. Stop before you collapse from overuse." Gon snapped out of it, eyes shot open, realizing how thick and wide his Nen was currently. He thought it was... barely there. He thought he was exerting too much effort with little result. Obviously it was the opposite. The water became... dry ice?
"Pffft" Hisoka actually chuckled. "What? You thought your efforts were doing nothing? You were... you were almost going to wipe me and the room away. It is okay though, because we are still training. I will teach you how to properly control your Nen. Specialists have a hard time finding their special moves but if it is you, you are going to be participating in our next mission probably. Go rest. I know it was just a mere thirty minutes today, but try working on controlling your Nen in your room. Bye bye" Hioska explained, leaving the room.
Hisoka complimented him. He complimented him truthfully, not slyly, not anything fake. Just a pure truthful praise. A tiny hint of a smile graced my face, making him look more suicidal than happy with his blank eyes eyes. "Rest well, Gon" Hisoka said, leaving the room casually.
He walked back to my room, throwing his weight over the bed in his provided bedroom. It was simple, just like his bed at whale island. Except that... this bed did not have bar like low walls on the four sides of the bed. It made him get a little worried... After all, he always fell off from beds with nothing surrounding them.
He tried get away this bad feeling that he will fall off the bed. Gon slept, deciding to use his Nen to wrap himself in a bubble that stops others from hearing him if he screamed at night or anything. The dream... as usual, started fine, then he heard mocking, berating, hating, degrading, and any other insulting methods found, planted in his head. He was begging it to stop, of course unaware of it, or unaware of the fact that his Nen was widening its radius, creeping out of the room as it wrapped around him and his surroundings immensely.
The air within his increasing vast spaced aura was chilled and brought shivers down anyone who was within it, except the initiator, Gon. The room nearest to his caught on the aura, and its occupant, Shalnark, woke up instantly from the sudden drop of temperature in his room. He got up from his bed, standing in the hallway where he felt the coldness increase around him. He shuddered as he walked where the temperature dropped even further, to reach Gon's room.
Of course it had to be him... Now what has happened to him? Shalnark thought Shalnark sarcastically as he opened his door to see it almost pitch black, but lit enough to see his wide spreading aura trickling outside his room. Gon was on the floor.
Gre~at! Just what we needed... a boy who screams at night during his sleep then starts leaking freezing cold aura in the middle of the night while he is completely unconscious on the floor! thought Shalnark. He ventured deeper into the room, feeling as if his blood was literally going to freeze right then and there. Then he saw the empty bed until his eyes hit the sleeping figure sprawled on the floor. He picked the boy up. The boy was releasing freezing energy, but what out Gon himself? He was burning hot. Maybe he was normal warm or a little hotter, but with Shalnark freezing cold at the moment, touching Gon gave him the illusion that the young spider is way too warm.
He put him back on the bed, then left to call Kuroro to calm that creepy aura that sent chills down anyone's spine from it being so sinister and cold.
Shalnark knocked Kuroro's bedroom door frantically, hoping the man would awaken quickly before Gon's aura froze the whole place and its occupants.
The door finally opened revealing a not so pleased Kuroro "What is it that is so important to knock on my door at one in the goddamn morning?" He said darkly.
"Gon is leaking Nen in his sleep. It is freezing stuff withtin it, and it is spreading even further. I woke up freezing cold from it. Don't ask me how it is expanding, but it still is" Shalnark said.
"That boy... I am starting to think that we were much better off without him. He is too much unique and different that it is troublesome to deal with him. I will go check on him."Kuroro sighed.
Kuroro directly started feeling chilled as soon as he stepped into Gon's wide aura, realizing that he will get colder if he walks more deeper in the Nen... He will have to do it regardless the coldness he will feel, just to relief the boy from the tenseness. He must be really tense that his body held onto this much strength and intense aura.
He quickened his pace, the faster he arrives, the faster Gon Nen dissipates... for now at least. Once there, he opened the room to see ice. Legit ice! The ceiling has sharp glass shards- like ice, the walls were frosted with a very thin layer of ice. The floor? It was like it snowed in there. Anything else was engulfed in fine glassy, shining ice sheets, except the bed? It was like nothing was happening around it...
Kuroro walked right up to the boy, and started shaking him. At first, no repsonse. He intensified the shaking, and the boy stirred a little then stopped moving. Kuroro was cold, and had no time to wait while he became a cold blooded human in here. He just ended up slapping the boy across the cheek harshly, forhetting to use the hand without rings. And god that hurts... the ring cut Gon's baby smooth skin and sat up abruptly, eyes shot wide open. His Nen vanished around him so quickly. He panted a little from the nightmare, then looked around him.
First thing he realized was that there was ice... why was there ice in my room? Gon thought. Second thing was his cheek. It stung and he felt blood oozing from it a bit. Third thing was... Kuroro and Shalnark were in the room.
"Yare yare... You finally woke up befire you froze the whole place." Kuroro said, running a hand through his hair.
Gon tilted his head to the side in confusion. What does he have to do with freezing the place?
"Ah right you were not aware... you were alseep, and your Nen unleashed itself during your sleep and well... you kind of froze your room walls and furniture along with the hallway. I woke up because i felt the sudden drop of temperature in my room." Shalnark said.
Gon's mouth made a cute 'O' in understanding and slight surprise. He yawned then as he was considerably tired from being woken up, with a slap no less... Kuroro chuckled then said "There is a lot of time till it reaches the waking time, go to sleep. You too, Shalnark." Then he left the room, the blonde walking right behind him, but the turning to the opposite direction after exiting the room.
Gon let a sigh a fell back to the pillow, falling asleep almost immediately, thinking about the outcome of the end of his training. That is if it ever had an end...
Okay... i dont know if i took long to post this or not but I feel it is out of place tbh. I hope you guys liked it and please review!
