Kuroro contemplated on Feitan's words. While he was right, it was too late to let the boy go. He already knows all their techniques and special abilities, so it would be a one way ticket for hell... and probably death. All they can do is wipe away his memories about his friends, but the problem is... how?

There is no such thing as simply wiping away someone's memory, so another solution must follow, and fast.

Gon stayed asleep for the whole day, and no one dared get close due to the threateningly dangerous and sinister aura surrounding him. While he was in this case, the other members worked on brainstorming ideas in what to do with Gon. They passed a few good ideas, but each had had its own consequences. Kuroro could take Gon's Nen and let him go, but this means he can still leak information meant to stay secret.

They can electrocute him a little too much that he forgets everything, that would prove troublesome. Having a member struggling with trying to remember something he can't would lead to his depression and possible suicide or at least suicidal thoughts.

Training Gon much more than his body can handle till he forgets anything else but his job to keep on training. That could work, but then he might die from overworking. That was the last thing they wanted to happen.

God the boy was now a handful. If it was not for Nobunaga who desired to keep the boy and have him join the troupe, they would not have gotten to this problem. Kuroro was thinking his head to the point of cracking it open.

Then it hit him. They should not change their current attitudes! Gon withdrew because he remembered that he was forced to be here against his own free will. Gon withdrew because he thought his friends hated him. The way to solve this is to make him know that they don't despise him like he thinks they do. They probably don't, to be truthful. They know Gon would not do something as joining the greatest enemy of his dear friend just because he felt like doing so.

"Omae tachi (1)! Think no further, because the solution is simple, after all. I will not ask from you more than keeping on treating him the same, just with a little tweak. He is in this state because guilt is taking over him because he thinks his comrades abandoned him due to his joining the troupe. Our role in here is to assure him that they know that he did not do it purposely, that they forgive him already. This means we need a little more of a push on your affectionate side from now on. That is all, you are dismissed, there is a comatose boy to wake." Kuroro explained, ending his idea, now an order to be taken seriously, a little sarcastically then left the room.

Gon was still trapped in his head space that was full of grieve and regret accompanying fear. He did not want to go anywhere, his friends never saved him, and this troupe decided to treat him with some love . Or was it affection? It scared him to no end. That those people might also get rid of him later on. Despite Gon's happy and naturally smiling personality, he himself knew that he faked a lot of those smiles. He was terrified of another abandonment once again. He was abandoned once by none other than his father, so he worked extra hard on concealing his mental distress using a happy- go- lucky personality so that he doesn't lose his friends.

But then his true self showed for a bit of a second and look where that landed him. A group of extremely powerful theives and mass murderers. They treated him well, which was the opposite of what he expected, and here came the haunting thoughts.

Kuroro entered Gon's room to be thrown off guard and a step back from the force Gon's Nen was doing. It was an organized mess of swirly Nen. It enveloped most of the room, not taking an inch outside the door. He was still curled up, still wearing the dress, wig, and shoes. He walked closer and closer, trying to look as friendly as possible so that his aura does not attack him.

Kuroro gulped hard, trying to keep his composure inact as he got nearer to the boy. He first put a hand on his head, getting an increase in the tension of the curled up boy, then the body relaxed a little as he started running his hand through the dark locks after pulling the wig off of Gon's head swiftly. Gon sighed in his sleep. Kuroro kept on petting Gon's spiky looking but surprisingly very soft hair until he stirred. Finally, after ten minutes of having to sit stiffly on the side of the bed and acting affectionate, he awakened. Dark eyes fluttered open, slowly adjusting to their surroundings. Gon's back was facing Kuroro so no other indication of his awakening other than stirring.

"Kuroro?" Gon called. He had long before, even before joining the Genei Ryodan, learnt to identify who touches him even when not looking as long as he knows the person before. Kuroro also learnt that there was no hope in making Gon call him boss or danchoulike the other members do, so he just accepts being called with his first name.

"Yes, Gon." He replied.

"I'm sorry." Gon said out of the blue. He had no idea why he was apologizing, but he felt like he had to.

"What are you apologizing to me for?" Kuroro asked curiously. He did not do anything yet, did he?

"Not you." He said, tightening himself in the curled up ball he made of himself.

"Then who?"

"The man I killed yesterday." He claimed sadly.

"Why are you apologizing to him, then?" Kuroro's interest was growing. The biy was apologized for killing a man acter he was ordered and trained to do so.

"Because... i should not kill. I know you guys kill, but we can just steal, and turn those people to put them in jail, a jail where stront Nen guards run the place." Gon said. He knew there should be such a thing.

"Hmm, but it is easier to kill, isn't it?"

"Yeah, but this makes less of a mess of blood and organs."

"You realize you are saying such thing knowing that you cut a man's head off without a single drop of blood, right?" He expected some shocked expression, but he got a whimper and even tighter ball as a repsonse.

"My, my, you really hate killing. And to think you are friends with an assassin."

"Killua does not kill when i am around unless needed, like the third task in the Hunter exam." Gon said absentmindedly. He said it on impulse. He can leave it at be doesn't kill when he was around, but the rest sort of slipped.

"Oh? What happened?"

"We... were in a tower. Stuck with prisoners to fight in whatever method they prefer. Killua got Johness the Dismantler, pretty sure you know him *in the 1999 series he is called dismantler, in 2011 he is called dissector. I watched the 1999 only, so i used 1999 terms* He killed him only because he was challenged for a fight till one of them dies. The only other time i saw him kill a person was when he was manipulated by his brother. Otherwise, he never showed as much bloodlust."

"I see. Care to explain why you skipped breakfast?"

"Uh, i... I was not hungry." He lied, it being verh obvious.

Kuroro did not want indulge lying, and thus confronted Gon "Again, why did you skip breakfast?"

"No" He whimpered, shutting his eyes very tightly.

"Gon, it is alright to tell me. I can help you." Kuroro tried.

"Noo." He was tensing up very much now that Kuroro thought that pushing in this direction might end up with him getting lashed out at by the younger one's Nen. He just started petting his hair again. He will try again in a few more minutes with a different approach.

"Nē, Gon."

"mhm?"

"If there is anything, anything, annoying you, you can tell me. I will not make fun of you. If you think it will make you look weak, then let me tell you the opposite. It requires a huge lot of braveness to show a person's worries or fears. The least you can do is ease my mind from staying concerned about you. Don't keep me, or the rest troupe, worried about you." though the words may have held little hints of lies, part of them were true.

"Mhm." He just hummed as a reply.

"So, are you telling me?"

"I- I miss Killua. And Kurapika. A-and Leoreo." he gulped then resumed "I want to see them, b- but they will not forgive me, specially Kurapika."

"Why?"

Gon shrugged, not wanting to give an answer.

"Fine then. I have a suggestion. Since you are already quite powerful, and since you completed your missions properly yesterday, i will give you a week off to yourself. No training, nor attending troupe meetings if there are any. However, if you want to leave the base, make sure you are not recognized by anybody. Understood?"

Gon nodded, it would be quite nice to have a break for a while.

"But, after that, you will go back to your original schedule. Is this acceptable?"

Gon nodded again.

"And i do not want you withdrawing to yourself like this after every single mission. It would be really troublesome and a waste of time so get a grip of yourself, you are a spider." Kuroro said, standing up to leave, then said before going out of the room "Your food is in the dining table, you might want to heat it though."

After Gon ate, he felt quite refreshed. He wanted to go out and now. First thing he did was go change the dress into another one as a disguise for when he leaves. He stumbled across a few troubles trying to style the blonde wig, and went to Shalnark to reapply his make up. He wore his socks and shoes then told the rest he was leaving for a while.

"Danchou, how did you do it?" Feitan asked.

"I just went along with whatever he rambled about when i asked a question. Whenever he feels like this, which is supposed to reduce soon, don't argue with him because he will always have a way to repsond." Kuroro said coolly

Then he turned to Nobunaga and threatened "You are in ve~ry bug trouble for suggesting having a very innocent and pure minded child on the troupe."

Gon was wandering around the city aimlessly, enjoying the outside world without having to kill. He thought about what Kuroro said when he found himself grabbed by the arm. Upon instinct, he turned around and jumped a good distance away. Just then Gon realized he was in a secluded alley. Damn my mind for leading my legs here.

"Oh~, little girl has got some talent, eh?" the man said. Gon did not want to have to deal with anyone who overestimates themselves over a child, so he just knocked the man out and went away to the middle of the city to explore a little more

Okay so... this was a little boring to write. Well then, hope you liked this and see you next chapter.
