I….both love and hate writing this chapter. You'll see why. But enjoy!

Warning: bullying

WORDS- Hizashi's quirk activated

Words- thoughts

If you asked Eri if she liked school? She'd proudly and wholeheartedly say, "Yes."

She loved the teacher and the reading time they got at the library. She loved the desk that's hers and only hers, with the pretty way her name is signed in cursive. She loves the cafeteria and the nice way the cafeteria workers will give her an extra cookie sometimes. She loved going on the playground and playing Foursquare and Princess with her friends and then coming in to learn like Deku and Mirio. She liked how she was getting to be NORMAL and not locked in a bunker having a mean man take her blood. Only to use it to hurt others. She shook her head as she started to think about "those" times. A thing she appreciated was her teacher would also let her go for a walk if she felt overwhelmed or was having a really bad day.

But there was one negative.

"If it isn't Baby Eri, good to see you learned to walk."

Oh great...them.

There was one bad aspect: Fumiko Kanda and Sakura Sawa.

Fumiko Kanda was the type of little girl you'd see on the cover of magazines, as she looked like a model. She had long white hair with bangs that split in two places at her forehead, with the two sides clipped back with 3 pins each, while the middle of her forehead were peacock feathers situated in a way that made it look like she had a crown atop her head. The peacock feathers that her quirk, Feathers, made went well with her green eyes. You'd always see her rocking the latest clothes which she always had before they'd even hit the market much to everyone's confusion. She got straight As and was the captain of everything or in the topmost position of power. And she had the power, skills and awards to back up what she'd say/do. She was in almost every way perfect.

And Sakura Sawa, Fumiko's bestest friend, who seemed to do whatever Fumiko did no matter what. She had pink braided pigtails that had fresh live flowers braided within them everyday. She had a cute speckle of freckles across her button nose and vivid blue eyes, that were so big and looked so innocent. Every day she had a new adorable sundress and some flower made jewelry on her and several to share with the other girls. Her cheeks would flush at the drop of a hat and she was always there to help those in need. She was the epitome of cute. Even her quirk was cute, Flora, allowing her to grow whatever plant she wanted.

The problem with them though is they hated Eri, with a passion. Fumiko and her lackey, Sakura had singled her out when they realized how little she knew about being "normal" and hadn't let up since. It wasn't her fault she never went to school, had a nuclear family, or wore cute outfits but she did now (well she had multiple moms and dads).

They called her a baby cause she "was as clueless of the world like a baby." Why couldn't they see she was trying and leave her be.

she'd done everything Deku and Mirio said, when she hinted she had a "friend" being picked on. It hadn't worked so she just put up with it, not wanting to worry them.

However, today she was particularly sad, not because of their lukewarm insults but the fact she'd have to cancel her play date. Her besties, Higuchi Haru and Ito Rei couldn't come because Haru was sick and Rei had to go to her cousin's birthday party.

She'd usually avoid taking their bait but she couldn't stop herself before the words were out her mouth. "I'm not a baby! I'm mature and grown ups!"

"Oh yeah? Then why're you carrying such a baby lunchbox?" Fumiko pointed at her All Might Lunchbox she'd gotten from Deku, he'd been so happy giving her it.

"It's not a baby's! A baby would have dumb doodles and junk! This is All Might, the best hero and you are dumb if you don't knows that."

She heard several people chuckle behind her, and the way Fumiko's face reddened made her smile in triumph.

Fumiko sneered at Eri before a light bulb went off in her head, and a Grinch-like smile donned her face.

"Well, everyone knows only baby's have no control of their powers, and I know you don't know how to."

"Yes I do! I've been practicing and getting help." She felt her cheek rosen.

"From whos? Your hobo daddy?"

Eri was going to say her dad but she knew that would make her sound even more like a child. She had to say something that would blast said notion out of the conversation.

What's mature? A teacher? No, they already do that and I don't know any quirk tutors...what do I say!? WAIT! I GOT IT!

"No, I'm learning from my boyfriend, who's training with pro heroes because he's so advanced and if you keep insulting my papa he'll come after you!"

She smiled at their shocked expression

Fumiko quickly recovered, "Oh yeah? What's he look like?"

"Yeah! What's he look like and what heroes are teaching him?" Sakura pressured.

"He goes to a different school. And he's taller than me and blond. And speaks so many languages because he's so smart." Eri puffed out her chest, internally beating herself for digging herself deeper and deeper into the lie.

"OH yeah? Show us your boyfriend! Show us a picture!" Sakura leaned in, challenging the horned child.

"Um….uh...He's...I've…" Eri looked around trying to find someone who'd even agree to hang with her, let alone be a boyfriend. She flipped through her phone's gallery acting like she was having a hard time choosing when it was actually because she had none.

I could say my phone's messing up or it's out of power! No! They'll know you're lying then!

That's when Yagi appeared at the door, holding his hand was Hizashi while Shouta held his pants leg. All three snacking on icy treats.

"Hey, Eri! We gots these hella cool popsicles!" Hizashi stopped sucking for a second, "We have mores in thes car!"

Before her brain can even process, her finger is pointing at Hizashi as she blurts out, "He's my boyfriend. He's always holding my hand and playing with me and...and KISSING. Like an adult does, but you would know that cause you have boyfriends, rights? No...well bye then I have to be matures over theres."

The two girls looked at her stunned, not expecting the boy to actually exist. Eri with a smile of superiority, walked away with a skip in her step. However, before she could get over to her guardian she heard, "Prove it."

"What…" she didn't turn around, already knowing her eyes were wide as saucers.

"Prove he's your awesome boyfriend. Go on."

"Don't you haves to wait for yours moms?" Eri said, sounding more desperate than she intended.

Just then their moms walked up, striking up a conversation with the retired symbol of peace.

Eri gulped as she made her way towards the 3 adults and boys, trying not to look as miserable as she felt at the moment.

All Might was too nice for his own good, always thinking the best of others and that everyone has good in them. Despite, when it's blatantly obvious someone is lacking in it..Or lacked it completely.

Such is the case of Emiko Kanda and Makoto Sawa. Both women could take the strongest man and break them down, till they are sobbing on the floor. They had an iron fist and a strong grip within the PTA as president and vice president. They were wives to the top ranking franchises in Japan, them being the real bosses while their husbands were simple figure heads.

Emiko Kanda, like her daughter, was gorgeous beyond belief. With her model-like body, elegant silky hair and piercing eyes. she too had peacock feathers on her body, except hers formed the tail of the bird. Few had seen it open but those that have apparently were awestruck. She was a beauty and a demon, having taken out countless numbers of people. Why? Some say it's because they stood in her way. Others say it's for those that get cocky. But most summed it up to it primarily because she could. She'd be donating a million to charity and turn right around and bankrupt 3 ma and pa shops.

Makoto Sawa, was more adorable than gorgeous which seemed to suit her perfectly. Why? Because her method of takeover was secretly taking the legs out from someone before they even realized it. She was shorter than the average mom, being 4'10", she'd sometimes be mistaken as a young adult with how youthful she looked. Her heart shaped face, pinkish white hair and big emerald eyes hid the conniving mind and cold heart she possessed perfectly. How cold? Her boyfriend dumped her in high school so, she stole both of his parent's 41ks. She was a Jeffrey Dahmer in sheep's clothing. The only person she'd never betray being Emiko, anyone else seemed up to chance.

And they'd never let an opportunity go by to gain more influence. So, upon seeing the symbol of peace, although a withered old husk in her opinion, Emiko knew she had to strike.

But as she approached the towering man she saw he wasn't alone, in fact he had two brats with him.

She quickly assessed the three, her eyes honing in on their weaknesses and exploitable characteristics.

She focused first on Hizashi and she quickly noted his apparent lack of ability to hold still, meaning he's either in a lot of sports or his parents don't medicate. Most likely the second. Hair suggests given liberty to "express" themselves and minimal discipline in how to act in public. Kinda flamboyant...no father in the house. Taller than average, will be a tall man...

Conclusion parents are lazy hippies, likely both female, and leave him to think for himself but there to hold him and coddle him. Free range bullshit making pansies out of our boys. But….charismatic and likely good with every sort of person. Energy for multiple jobs and responsibilities. And fashion suggests detail oriented.

Quirk, unknown so mustn't sleep on his power capabilities...yet.

In conclusion, not a threat except a headache...and maybe a reason to hide your makeup.

Her eyes darted to the black haired one, this one a bit more iffy, a harder one to read for sure.

Close connection to All Might but not one for skin contact. He's been adamantly avoiding people, tenses when brushed against...bad house or another example of lack of affection? Blank facial expression since arriving, possibly "different" from normal kids. Developmentally stunted I'm 79% sure.

She saw how the other didn't react to anything the blond was saying.

Make that 100%, lacking greatly in social skills. Looks frail and sickly, and utterly exhausted. Likely cunning and great ingenuity to make up for where he's lacking. Stealth would likely be his choice in combat.. So,...would have to go through others, loved ones, to get to him. Quirk unknown…

In conclusion, little threat physically and dismissable once in control of the ones who he cares for.

She snorted at the fact she'd said different, and not what everyone really thinks.

And then she landed on the man himself, All Might. One look and she could tell, this man is easy.

Disregards health for others, no matter what the cost. Her eyes roved his emaciated body, noting the bloody tissue in his pocket, "Weak but puts on strong face. And his notoriety is godly, so we have to get in good with him. The type to value family over fame, Makoto? What of his hero life? Anything we can work with?"

"He's the type to dodge intimate questions in Interviews, and his age is a mystery. No descendants or spouses to be noted. Asexual or too busy?" She looked up and saw him attempt to wipe the blond boy's mouth, doing little in cleaning him up, "Every article since the fiasco with AFO praises him...nothing scandal-wise to throw in his face unfortunately. Best approach, through the children he's got with him. The blond wielding the best results." Makoto looked through her phone, being the tech wiz and the best informant Emiko could ask for.

She knew things not even a pro's spouse or closest relationships knew. An example of her prowess being she knew who really took out the famous killer Stain.

"If we get in good with them, we could have a foot into UA. Although as of late incompetent to the media still have fame and opportunities open when ones got recommendations from it. Still ranked number one in schools one wants to attend, scores have risen with more getting their licenses on first try than previous years. And out of all hero training schools only have one student casualty...Shirakumo Oboro, it seems."

"Good….good. And despite him being retired, getting in good with the man deemed the "best hero ever" trumps any power that sentient rodent playing a human has. Meaning if we get in real good, our girls could get better recommendations into the hero course. And if we are seen together? Well, stocks will look even better this quarter. "

"Agreed, let's go. And make note of those children, they're possibly future leverage. Find quirk, names, and relatives." Emiko quickly checked her makeup and put on some gloss, before making her way towards the trio.

"Oh course…" Makoto gave her a look saying she'd gotten the same assessment of the three and was ready to engage.

"My my my! I certainly don't remember seeing you here before Mr…" Makoto paused as she made sure not to presume, she knew who he was but knew not to give that away.

"OH! Uh...Mr. Toshinori...I guess. But, yes this is actually the first time picking my niece up. I'm in the right area, correct?" All Might looked down as he felt Shouta's fingers suddenly tighten around his calf.

Oh, yeah he doesn't like or respond well to new this seems…different.

"Oh! Yes, can I ask which one is yours?"

"Oh! Is that her, coming right now? The pretty white haired one with the horn?" Emiko then made herself blush,"Oh my goodness, how foolish of us! My name is Emiko Kanda and this is Makoto Sawa. We too have children that go here." She put her hand out with her most brilliant smile.

Yagi took it, his kind heart not seeing the red flags sprouting from the two women.

"Oh, yes! I'm here for my niece, Eri! Who seems to be coming right now! Hi Eri, how was your day?" Yagi's smile changed to confusion as he saw how upset she looked.

"Bad, I can't haves my Sunday playdate cause Haru and Rei can'ts come." She quickly grabbed Hizashi's arm snuggling into his shoulder, the boy looked at her confused as he held his Popsicle stick in his teeth.

"Oh, I'm so sorry...I hope I'm not overstepping but our daughters may be free and could...attend? So you don't have to cancel. Seeing how important this is to your niece." Makoto said she was just sheepish enough to hide her true intentions.

"Really?!" Eri's smile returned quickly. She may not be best friends but she's good with all but two girls in the class.

"Yes! And here they come now." Emiko watched as Eri's smile disappeared as she looked and saw Fumiko and Sakura approaching.

"Hey Mommy! Hello . Hello Mr….All Might" Fumiko, thanks to years of practice, could remain calm despite the situation. However, she was freaking out internally about the fact she was face to face with the real All Might. Especially after the fight with the super evil man, AFO.

"Oh...yes, that's me…" Yagi scratched his head, looking away in embarrassment because of this he didn't see Eri under the pointed gaze of the two girls, put her arms around Hizashi's neck and peck him on the cheek. Nor did he see the frown Emiko gave her daughter. He even missed the fact that Shouta was now hugging his leg tighter, burying his face into the back of his leg.

"Mr. Toshinori, honey. But this is my daughter Fumiko Kanda who's...OH! Actually, in class with , right?"

"Oh! If that's true then so is my daughter Sakura Sawa! Honey, we were suggesting since poor Eri's play date was canceled because her two initial guests couldn't make it we thought maybe you two could go."

"No. I don't wanna." Eri didn't even realize she'd vocalize her true feelings.

Silence

"Why, Eri?"

Eri instantly regretted vocalizing her true feeling at the concerned look All Might gave her. She hated worrying people, especially the gentle giant All Might. She quickly scrambled to fix her mistake.

"I mean...I don't wanna wait...can we do Friday." Eri scrambled to construct some sort of excuse and never wanted to slap herself as much as she did right then.

"Oh? Um…."

"But Friday is our day…" Hizashi couldn't remain silent after hearing that. Friday were their hang out days, when all of 1A had their really long school day, she'd keep him company. The day where she showed him all the animated movies, draw and they'd go play outside. And play heroes and more.

"Well, I'm sorry to impose but now you could have two new playmates. Doesn't that sound cool?" Emiko crouched down and swallowed the disgust she felt seeing how messy the child had eaten his Popsicle. His cheeks, lips and fingers had corn syrup all around and on them. While some had splattered on his T-rex shirt and the little remaining melted in a heap near his light up velcro shoes.

"Ohhhhhh! Okays! My names is Hizashi Yamada and this is Sho…" Hizashi stopped as he felt the back of his shirt being pulled. "Um...well, this is my best friend!" Hizashi put out his sticky hands to Emiko, but seeing her hesitation he rubbed them on his blue jeans. However, that just made the mess worse. Now, his hand was sticky AND speckled with lint and whatever else was on his pants.

"Oooooh! Nice...to ...meet you!" She winced as she shook his hand, several stings followed as she let go. She had to fight the disapproving frown trying to break out

What a disgusting child, I thought the fruity ones were supposed to be all about cleanliness?!

"So, we can agree? This Friday our girls can have a play date?" Makoto asked as she pulled out some wet wipes, knowing Emiko would need them.

"Of course, we'll be waiting with baited breath!" Yagi smiled back at the woman before smiling at the two little boys.

"Yeah….fun and will let us get to know each other all the better." Sakura smirked

"Yeah….can't wait." Eri looked at the ground, not sure what she'd just gotten herself into and how to minimize the damage.

Hizashi wasn't expecting to be forcefully dragged to Eri's room the instant they stepped foot in the house. Nor did he expect to spend a good 5 minutes on the bed while said girl walked in circles.

"Zashi….will you be my boyfriend!" Eri's face turned beet red as she felt her fingers dig into her palms.

After not receiving an answer she opened her clenched eyes to see Hizashi just looking at her with a look of confusion before starting to sniffle.

"Wha?"

"I-I-I thought we-e-e weres *sniff* al...ready -f-f-friends! *hic*"

"What?" Eri starred before it clicked in where the miscommunication was coming from.

I said boyfriend and he heard boy friend. Friend, that's a boy.

"No! You are! You already are...I...I...I can't lies to you." She fell backwards on her bed, staring at the ceiling. "I may have said...you were my BOYFRIEND, like a romantic relationship to those two girls you met. You know, pink hair and feather crown girl."

"Ooooooo…," he scratched his chin thinking for a second before shrugging and saying "Okays. You ares my girlfriend."

"I understands if...wait. what?" Eri jolted up and stared at him and the goofy grin he had.

"Yous need helps. So...I can bes yours pretends boyfriend for the day. I love pretendings!"

"Yous do that for mes! Even if," she started to aggressively blush and couldn't stop herself from burying her face in her hands,"holding hands ands kissing?" The last word came out in a whisper.

"Sures! I kiss mys moms all the times! You can kiss peoples yous knows and loves. I loves you so I helps you."

Eri stared at him like he was saying some obscure truth.

Eri threw her arms around Hizashi, "thank you thank yous thank yous!having yous there might actually makes this fun! Comes tomorrow dressed mature or adult-like! If this goes well I could finally gets them to leaves me alone!" Eri kissed him on the lips before shoving him out her room so she could change.

Hizashi frowned but vowed to make Eri's play date the bestest play date in the history of the activity.

By the end of the day I'll make sure those girls leaves Eri alone!

Night time came and Hizashi was in a conundrum, how is one an adult. He didn't know but he asked the person that seemed to know the most about being mature.

"Be an adult? Well, that's quite the odd question, young Yamada. However, I must say I commend your efforts at learning the right behavior at such a young age!" Tenya said as he sat with him in the kitchen.

The speedster having come for a quick snack, not expecting to do a Ted talk.

"Can yous give me the main things? I wants to be the bestest adult evers." Hizashi took out his Manual Lil' Helper's notebook© and held his Lil' helpers pencil at the ready.

And after 30 minutes he had his answer.

"What's you doing?" Shouta said, finally giving in and asking why his friend was acting so uncharacteristically.

The other boy had actually been repeatedly looking at some 20 pages of poorly written notes.

"I'm beings an adult fors the play date tomorrows."

"I don't like them." Shouta said after a moment of staring blankly at his 100 cat facts book.

"Whys?"

"I...remembers them buts I never met thems tills today."

That made Hizashi pause in his adultification process as he had something he had to ask, "you...yous don't feels like...wes knows things or dones this already?"

"...maybes? No…." All of a sudden the two were clutching their heads as their brains felt like they were roasting in their heads.

"Ows….no mores that. Buts maybes we can makes the three of thems be friends!" Hizashi exclaimed excitedly, as he finished his outfit for tomorrow.

"It's perfect!" The blond held it out to his best friend excited as can be,"how's it looks."

"It boring thoughs, it's not likes yous"

"Yes...but it's what'll help Eri ands I'm gonnas helps her."

"You watchs Eri. I'll protect Yagi...those moms are mean."

"How do you knows that?" Hizashi started digging through his toy chest

"...I just knows." Shouta remembered his own mom and those women put her to shame.

Eri looked at the door anxious, still being attacked by nerves despite everything. Repeatedly she had to tell herself she was okay. And that the play date would finally make them stop teasing her.

She'd made sure to dress her best, instead of her typical Friday outfit of comfortable shorts and a graphic tee-shirt that had hearts incorporated some way or another.

Although stuffy as hell she stood there ready in black flats and her blue A-line dress that luckily went to her knees, letting her move a bit better. The dress's top was a solid plain blue but the skirt was covered with a floral print of daisies. She'd even taken time with yaoyorozu to curl her hair. She finished the look off with a black headband that was topped with a bow. She pulled the bottom down some more making sure there weren't any wrinkles.

It's not what I want to wear but it's in no way what a baby would wear.

Shouta just watched, sketchbook and colored pencils in hand, frowning at this whole thing. It apparently was all up to him to keep Yagi safe because all of 1A was in class.

Ding dong!

"Mr. Toshinori! The door!" Eri called out, the distress she felt still poking through at random times.

The door opened to reveal the four guests. They were fabulous.

Sakura had her hair down for once which complemented her off the shoulder skater floral dress. Around her neck was a flower pendant. Her black sun hat shielded her eyes while somehow emphasizing her red cheeks. Eri couldn't help but be jealous of her knee-high gladiatorial saddles.

Eri wasn't surprised Fumiko would gussy herself up, but the mean girl looked absolutely gorgeous in her cream boho maxi dress. With its full tiered skirt with lace ruffles and a scalloped lace detail in the back. The soft rayon dress adorned with soft lace left her looking like some sort of goddess.

Their mothers were not to be outdone though, they also seemed to just radiate elegance.

Emiko was emitting beauty and power with her sleeveless jumpsuit. It had black pants and the top was grey plaid. It had a semi-spread collar with a black loose bow as a tie substitute. She wanted to look good, but also stress to All Might subconsciously that she's the one with all the cards. And that she wasn't afraid to crush someone's neck with her black high heels.

While Makoto, like her daughter, was wearing a summer dress. It was a baby blue, v neck, short dress with a bow in the back. She had her hair in a messy ponytail. It was simply but perfectly gave her the sweet sincere woman look she wanted.

"Woah… I feel a little underdressed." Yagi looked at his casual white tee and pants that hung loosely to his frame.

"Nonsense! I'm just ecstatic we could arrange this!" Emiko smiled," I was wondering if while they played we'd have some tea?," she pulled out some tea packets from her purse,"It's something I do at all my daughter's play dates! I mean why should they have all the fun!"

"That sounds delightful and...that happens to be my favorite brand!"

Emiko knew that it was his favorite brand; she'd spotted a to go cup and caught a hint of it on his breath at their first meeting.

"What a wonderful coincidence!"

"I guess we'll leave you kids to yourselves. I'll be wit- Shouta?" Yagi stopped as he felt the boy dig his fingers into his shirt out of nowhere. The sudden death grip was shocking, knowing (as well as one could) Shouta's typical behavior.

"I wanna have tea." Shouta's eyes shot to Emiko and Makoto, he didn't trust them one bit,"wanna stay withs you."

"Oh! Um, you two wouldn't mind would you? He's rather shy around new people."

"Oh no problem! I remember when Fumiko would pitch a fit if I was 3 feet from her. I'd be delighted to have the little guy with us."

She was lying.

Damn. I was hoping to get All Might alone with Makoto and I. But...this can and will still work, just need to tweak the game plan.

"Excellent! I know the perfect spot as well!" Yagi smiled, oblivious of the staring contest the woman and Shouta were having. "Have fun Eri, and don't hesitate to call for help in case you need something."

As soon as the adults left the two girls rounded on Eri, "where's your boyfriend, hmmm?"

"OH um…" caught off guard, she wasn't expecting them to jump automatically to the subject of her fake relationship. Luckily, she didn't have to stall, she was never good at improvising, as her pretend partner came down the stairs.

"I'm right here, sorry to keep you waiting darling." Hizashi said from behind her. The boy just made it. He didn't think he'd have to fight his hair for 20 minutes to get it situated.

All three girls whipped around to see...well, a transformed Hizashi.

When she'd asked him to dress mature she'd thought he'd go with like a tie or something but he'd literally pulled out all the bells and whistles.

He came down in bright red shorts paired with a blue belt. On his wrist was an actual watch instead of his silly bands or bracelets. His shirt was a plaid blue button up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The shirt was even tucked in! Wrapped around his shoulders was a sweater, and a boring one, none of his colorful bright ones.

Stranger was the fact Hizashi's hair wasn't the loud display it always was. Instead of the Mohawk he'd loved so much that it was his hairstyle throughout his days in UA, it was...normal.

Although taking 20 minutes he'd fashioned it into a normal, everyday varsity side part. It was...so ordinary.

"Welcome to our humble abode!" He slowly made his way down the stairs, remembering that adults don't rush.

"So, your the illusive boyfriend? Himatchi Yamamoto was it?" Fumiko's eyes roved up and down Hizashi's whole get up and she didn't hate it.

"Hizashi Yamada, actually. And I'm very excited to get to know you two." Hizashi bowed before grabbing Eri's hand.

He's like a different person...Eri's mind recalled a certain SpongeBob episode involving fine dining.

So absorbed she didn't realize Hizashi was asking her a question.

"Wha?"

"Oh silly love, I was asking if you wanted me to grab snacks while you take them to your room?"

"Oh...YES! Yes that woulds be an excellent idea." She quickly led the two girls away, and not a second later as Hizashi allowed himself to drop the act. The boy promptly jumped up and down, running and kicking his legs to release the energy he'd stored up.

If you can't do a mere 20 or so minutes this is going to be miserable!

Hizashi hated this but knew it had to go perfectly or he'd fail Eri. And that wasn't an option.

"Okays...snacks." Hizashi said talking like he always did and not his mature voice.

This'll be the best play date evers.

Eri loved her room. She loved how Mirio, Deku and Kirishima had helped her paint the walls lilac, a color she'd gotten to pick out all by herself. She loved the twin bed with a heart pattern comforter and that everything in the room held sentimental value. The stuffed animals given to her by UA for gifts, some new others hand-me-downs. The All Might pillow Drku gave her at the hospital. The "Put your hands up" limited edition poster Mic gave her. A quilt, made by the girls of 1A and 1B. The tacky knick knacks she'd won at her first fair and festivals. It was probably one of her favorite places to be and she'd take every opportunity to get someone else into it….except today.

In fact she dreaded letting the two girls in as she saw how they seemed to be surveying the room, judging everything and anything it had.

"So, this is your room?" Sakura moved around in a way that made it seem like she was investigating a crime scene.

"Yes! Isn't it nice? I got to choose the wall color myself!"

"Cute….although a little small. In fact my bedroom is two times the size of this room." Fumiko looked completely unimpressed, to the point it looked painful,"So what's there to do here? What sorta games do you have?"

Although a little hurt by her comments, Eri perked up. Glad she'd have someone other than Hizashi to play with she wasn't going to let previous feelings get in the way of that.

"Let's play princesses! I wanna be Belle because she's so cool and brave and…" Eri stopped talking as she saw the looks she was getting from her two guests.

"Princesses? Aren't we a little old to play such silly games? Don't you have like...any cool things to do?" Sakura remarked as they rifled through her toy box and closet without her permission, sneering at everything they came across.

"Um...cool things?"

"Don't tell me! You don't have any Heroies? Like not a single one?" Fumiko sounded almost scared when asking.

"Uh...no. I don't…" Eri looked at the ground, she'd never realized how old and out of date her toys were.

"Really? Though that's not a 're really hard to get if you don't know people. I have the whole series, even the rare ones. I even have the life sized, electronic car."

"Oh...um. is there anything else you wanna play? I...um...got board games and puzzles and I'm pretty sure Hizashi will let us borrow his legos."

"Sigh….and I thought living with pros would mean you have cool stuff." Sakura muttered as she haphazardly threw the book she'd pulled back onto the shelf. She was about to pull another book when she spotted something in the corner.

"Is that a Yaoyorozu brand tea set playset!?" Sakura tried to calm her heart which seemed to be trying to break out her chest with how fast it was beating.

"Uh yeah…" Eri was confused, she'd never realized that was special to her; it was just a gift. But the look on Fumiko's face told her it was monumental.

"H-h-how...I can't even get one.." the last part she whispered to herself, but Eri heard.

"Oh, I just know their daughter, I got it for my birthday," Eri tried acting nonchalant, "We can play with it I guess."

It was shocking how fast Sakura pulled out and set it up, a smile plastered to her face.

Which was good except the fact that Eri hated doing tea parties. It was so boring, she'd rather be moving and running but if it saved her play date she'd put up with it.

Makoto glanced at the black haired boy, feeling like she should know who the boy is. Several key things weren't adding together and she knew it had something with the blond spaz and the pale weirdo.

"And that's why I love to take time to appreciate the Sakura trees when in bloom. I know a great spot for bird watching as well." Yagi smiled as he finished his tale.

God. He's smarter than we've given him credit for because he's giving me absolutely nothing to spin, twist, even start to work with!

Makoto took a sip of her tea as she stealthily started researching the two kids like Emiko asked.

Something…is going on and I'm gonna find out what the hell it is. And when I do, her eyes darted back at Shouta who was creepily staring right back at her, We'll be the ones in charge.

These girls are so boring!

Hizashi nodded as he took a sip of his fake tea, using all his will power to not leap from the table and run off.

Sure he liked talking about fashion and animals but Fumiko just kept bragging. Saying she had this and she went there and did this. It was either that or questions about Eri's and his relationship. Which seemed to be making the peacock girl angry with every insync answer.

He's pulled from his thoughts when he hears Eri choke on a cracker.

"You wanna go do...what?"

"Well, this is a Hero training program so….let's go train!" Emiko smiled knowing she's caught her classmate in a lie,"your boyfriend has helped you master your quirk, no?"

"Ummmm…." Eri looked at Hizashi for help but he was as excited as the others, not realizing the dilemma she was having.

"Come on! It'll be fun, Eri! You'ves been practicings *er* I mean it would be an enjoyable pastime." Hizashi corrected himself, realizing he'd switched from sounding mature.

"I...well, if ev-everyone wants to go and use our *gulp* quirks...I won't spoil the fun." She gave a weak grin, wishing they'd continued the boring tea party, before grabbing Hizashi's hand.

She didn't have to be psychic to know whatever happened was bound to be horrible.

Eri sighed in defeat as the other girls' need to embarrass her made the usually frou frou girls disregard the muddy terrain. She'd hoped the fact the ground was littered with dirty puddles and mud that could soil their dresses would deter them. Unfortunately, it didn't.

"Watch this." Fumiko said before she shot her arm out and slowly but surely Peacock feathers started to sprout from her flesh. Sakura started to clap furiously, like the girl had actually done something interesting.

"That's not all, Sakura!" she said exasperated before she plucked said sprouted feathers from her arm, and with a flick of her wrist they seemed to solidify, turning to something similar to steel.

"Cool...soooo, is that it?" Hizashi said as he took one from her fingers only to look up and see a very angry girl.

"NO," Fumiko said through gritted teeth before she yanked the feather from Hizashi's hand and threw it like a kunai at the nearest tree. Much to Hizashi's surprise the feather stuck into it, like a knife.

"My quirk lets me use my feathers like weapons and stuff. I can even combine them to make stuff." fumiko smiled as she saw the amazement in Hizashi's eyes, "My tutor said I'm one of the best he's taught, cause I learn so fast. To the point I'm outperforming older kids. I'm basically able to do any sort of mission or be any type of hero." Fumiko threw three more feathers with frightening accuracy before moving out the way so Sakura could do her thing.

"My quirk allows me to grow whatever plant I want, observe." she held out her palm and a calla lily bloomed out," meaning I can make things to help heal people like Aloe and medicines. Not only that but…" the girl closed her eyes as she started to focus really hard. Slowly a vine adorned with thorns grew out, 'I…*hah* can do...offense." Sakura said out of breath. She sent it at the tree Fumiko used and actually left some indentations where the thorns had cut the wood.

"Woooow, that's so cool, but...um I'll go get some water. Gotta stay hydrated!" Hizashi, seeing how out of breath the pink haired girl was, quickly ran off and back inside.

Leaving Eri alone with the two wolves.

"Well? It's your turn." Fumiko gestured to the tree, smiling like she's just won the lottery.

"Um...is it really safe to do it out here? Maybe we should wait till we have a supervisor…" Eri rubbed her arm as she looked back at the dorm, wishing they'd stayed inside.

"Why? We'd only need them if…*GASP* you can't control your powers can you?" Fumiko fake gasped as she put a hand to her mouth.

"I...I can! I just don't think this is the right...um...setting. The ground is wet and I'm not in the right clothes."

"I wasn't either and yet we did it, and shouldn't you be able to with all the practicing you and Blondie do. Someone so advanced must've taught you enough to use your quirk in a dress."

"Yeah...or were you lying? Cause that'd be just pathetic!" Sakura chimed in, goating Eri into action.

"FINE! I'll do it! Because I can cause I'm not a baby! I'll...rewind the tree...back to a sprout! Cause I can!" Eri's face burned as she clenched her fist, falling for the two girls bait.

She got closer to the tree, "Stand back though! Like really back." Luckily, for once, they listened to her and actually backed up.

Remember the training….deep breathe. Focus on the target. Pick a moment...and it's only me and the target. The tree…

The girls moved back even more as Eri's horn started to grow and glow as she touched the trunk. At first it looked like nothing was happening but slowly the tree started to actually rewind. She cracked her eyes open to see the two girl's stupefied expressions.

Oh my god! Its working its-

Eri didn't get to celebrate long though, as she felt herself start to sweat and her head throb. She lost focus as she suddenly felt extremely light headed, to the point she was seeing double. Eri cut her powers off as she felt herself sway back and forth unsteadily on her feet.

"I...don't feel good…" she meant to use the tree as something to lean on, but instead pushed off it.

The girls simply watched, not even attempting to move and catch Eri, as she lost her balance and went careening belly-first into one of the many puddles on the ground.

The silence was soon filled with laughter, vindictive laughter.

Eri wanted to disappear, shrink to the size of an ant as she pushed herself up, her state of dress just making the girls laugh harder. Eri wiped her face, only spreading the mess on her cheeks more as her hands were muddy and wet. She shuddered as the excess cold water dripped down her stomach and chest as the whole front of the dress was now plastered to her chest. She reached up and squeezed the water from her hair, noticing her headband was missing. The water trickled down her legs and filled her flats even more than they already were.

Fumiko and Sakura continued laughing, adding comments on how this was now this. Eri felt her cheeks burn as tears pricked in her eyes from the pain in her horn and the pain in her heart.

Maybe I really am just a big baby. Only baby's don't control their powers. Only babies play Princess and don't have the new Heroies. Only babies don't understand simple things like School or festivals.

So immersed in their laughter they didn't see Hizashi coming towards them

When Hizashi came outside with drinks in hand, the last thing he'd expected was to see his friend Eri, covered in the mud crying while the girls pointed and laughed at her.

Hizashi wasn't having that, his eyes narrowed, his hair puffed up, and his face turned red. He stomped over to the girls, who'd yet to stop their chuckling.

"What a baby. Who can't control their powers?! Betcha that weird blonde kid isn't even your boyfriend. Guess you're a liar as well." Sakura said laughing hysterically.

That was the last straw

Hizashi threw the bottles of water to the ground and poked both girls on the back of the shoulder, hard, getting their attention. The instant they turned around he got in both of their faces, and went off.

"Eri is the smartest nicest girl ever so shuts up! Yous are mean. And ugly on the insides and haves no manners! Sos what if she can't controls her quirk!? It's because it's so amazing! And she's gonna helps people unlikes your dummy ones! Ands so whats she doesn't haves a boyfriend! She don'ts need a mans because she a inde..pend..ent womans! And the kindest! So kind she's been doings what yous two wants! Even whens it's lame and borings!" Hizashi kept stepping forward, pushing the two scared girls back.

"Eri is not a baby! YOUS THE BABIES! POOPY DUMB UGLY BAD BABIES!" Hizashi's quirk snuck in as he unleashed his anger on the girls, the blast power of his quirk sent the girls off balance and into the mud with a loud *plop*. The mud splashing up and dirty water drenching them, ruining their hair and dresses.

Fumiko and Sakura screamed.

(30 minutes earlier)

*Crack*

All Might look over to see Shouta staring at the broken colored pencil.

"You okay, Shouta?" Yagi asked as he saw the peculiar boy continued staring at it

"I broke my pencils. Its broken and I'm not done..." Shouta continued to stare before looking to Yagi for help.

"Hmmm...I think there's some in my office, lets go get them, okay?" He took Shouta's hand and walked with him to get some replacement colored pencils. "We'll be right back, is that alright?"

"Yes! Of course, we can wait while you help the little guy!" Emiko quickly said, although really mad that once again her plan would need tweaking.

Dang, just when I was getting in good.

Makoto watched the duo walk away, and the instant she saw they weren't in earshot she turned to Emiko. She was unable to keep her question at bay anymore,"So do you think he is All Might's son or….? And is he homeschooled? I don't see him on any of the class rosters for Sakura's school nor any others." She checked her phone yet she kept coming up with nothing on or about the strange two kids..

It was at this moment Yagi realized he'd forgotten to ask the women if they'd like any snacks, so he quickly ran back.

"You go on ahead Shouta, I have to ask them something."

It's because of this he was privy to the two's following conversation, hearing them clearly from behind the door.

"Makoto, you're looking at the normal rosters he's in a "different" class." She did air quotes around the word "different", "Although, I hear the school system is trying to get rid of those special kids classes. Which I think is a little cruel, taking the...less capable children and putting them with our kids? I mean you don't put a spoiled apple in with a freshly picked batch and think they'll taste the same."

All Might literally did a double take not sure she'd actually just said that.

"I agree...I mean it's not like it'll enrich the other children's lives in fact, they'd take time away from those that actually have potential. It's not like they become that way...they're born like it and no amount of teaching will reverse or fix them."

Yagi bit his tongue and clenched his fist fighting himself to not burst in and said something he'd regret, after years of hero work there were always those that'd have terrible things to say...but to hear that about children. Children you didn't even know!? It was appalling and it made his blood boil.

But before Yagi could rightfully enter and correct the two's disgusting stance they heard screaming.

"The kids!"

"The girls!"

The three rushed to the source to see Sakura and Eri crying, all three girls covered in mud and gross puddle water with Hizashi joining as Fumiko shoved him back first into the mud. Fumiko slapped him across the face with a fan made from her peacock feathers as she returned the verbal abuse.

"Look what you did you loud mouth freak! How dare you! I'm gonna tell my mommy on you and the horned weirdo!" she slapped him again with her feathers, livid over the disrespect she'd just been shown.

"WHAT'S GOING ON!?" Makoto screamed, distraught to see her daughter so disheveled and upset.

"Mommy! Yamada used his p-p-powers on us! *hic* and purposely ruined our dresses and hair!" Sakura ran to her mom and buried her face in her skirt, smushing the mud on her into her mom's clothes.

Emiko bristled, she knew the boy wasn't disciplined but to actually use his quirk on HER daughter. Well, she didn't care if it was God's child, let alone All Might's, no one does that to her child. She rounded on the emaciated man, fire in her eyes.

"Your nephew attacked my daughter? Well, that just won't do. Now, with such a lovely evening we had I'd hate to have to ruin you or UA's reputation more than it already has. But, I'm not going to let this go!" Emiko dropped the polite lady act and went into blackmail/extortion mode.

"Really? Cause all I saw was your daughter not only shove my nephew but also assault him with their quirk. Which, in my opinion, would give me the right to sue you. And….that'd garner quite the attention seeing as I'm...me. And win or lose, that'll look horrible for you. Social suicide even." Yagi refused to back down, even if Yamada started it. He said it low enough so only Emiko heard it. Makoto was too busy fussing over the girls and how distressed they are to hear the battle going on between the two.

"...well played, All Might," Emiko thought as she saw the conviction in the man's heart.

she walked away and begrudgingly scooped up Fumiko,"...I apologize for any and all grievances my daughter may have caused today. Hopefully we can try to salvage this relationship another day."

"Nope! Cause they ares dummy bad babies." Yamada said, his anger nowhere near quelled.

"Hizashi…" Yagi gave the irrate boy a tone that suggested he better stop or else,"I agree. We'll all say "this" never happened and maybe in the future ALL of us will be better people!" He made sure to emphasize all, implying the two moms were in need of improvement as well.

With a strained tone of voice, due to holding in all her pride and venom, Emiko added, "And I'll make sure this unsavory behavior of my daughter doesn't bleed into school, we'd hate for such a squabble to lead to something bigger and long lasting."

"Of course not, I'll take initiative to inform Eri's teacher. So, she can keep an eye on them and make sure none of the girls behave inappropriately." Yagi quickly added, throwing in his own semi-threat.

the two threw fake smiles at each other, both knew this wasn't over and a war had begun. Yagi won the battle today but not the war. In fact, he'd started something Emiko would make him regret.

"Let's go Makoto, I hope we see you all again soon. Except, next time I'll make sure this outcome won't happen again." Emiko whispered the last part before the four walked off.

"I hope not." Yagi said when he was sure they weren't within earshot of him anymore. Hearing her clearly threaten she wouldn't lose again to the former symbol of peace.

Hizashi and Eri sat on the steps leading to the dorm, Eri sniffled as she looked at what her very first playdate had become.

The girl had only just stopped crying, but her heart was still broken that she'd failed so spectacularly. Sure she didn't like them but she'd still wanted to prove them wrong. Prove she could be normal like them.

Hizashi sat beside her feeling equally as terrible. He'd ruined her day with his stupid outburst. he didn't regret what he'd done or said, but he did regret letting them hurt Eri like they did. He'd worked so hard and yet, she still suffered.

I have to fix this! But what to do...what to do? Wait….THAT'S IT!

Hizashi quickly got up and ran as fast as possible inside. He rushed upstairs and into his and Shouta's room and Eri's, not wanting to leave Eri waiting he quickly located the supplies he needed.

Eri sat on the bottom most step, having made no move to go inside.

Knowing she looked absolutely terrible and really didn't want to let anyone see her. Her dress was splattered with mud, making her look like how she felt:dirt.

"*sniff* I'm so stupid." She was so focused on her lamenting she didn't hear the door open and close behind her.

What was I thinking?! I'll never be normal. I'm just a fre-

Eri stopped as she felt something placed on her head, she reached up to find it was...a crown. Her crown, specifically, the one she used to play Princess with.

Whys this here?

"A princess needs a crown."

She turned around to see Hizashi in an absolutely ridiculous getup. On top his head was a cow headband he'd gotten as a toy from Chick-fil-a, his blond hair clashed with his new peach horns and extra pair of spotted ears. He'd also changed his clothes completely in the little time he was gone. In fact he'd returned with even less clothes on as he was now shirtless. Now, all he had on was a purple blanket he'd wrapped around his neck and blue plaid PJ pants. Pants that had what looked to be the clip on tail from her Kitty Cat Halloween costume on the back.

"Miss Princess Belle, cans please haves this dance." Hizashi bowed and held out his hand as Eri just stared at him.

After what seemed like a century, Eri's fresh tears stopped and a big smile overtook her face. She wiped her face with her arm and dusted the dryer bits of mud off her.

"Why I'd be delighteds to ." She said in a horrible british like accent before curtsying and taking Hizashi's hand.

He hit play on his phone before pulling her down the stairs to the field.

"As defense." Yagi looked down at the small child curled up in his lap, Shouta had fallen asleep midway through reading 101 Facts about Cats. He carefully scooped him up before realizing he'd completely forgotten to check on Hizashi and Eri.

As carefully as possible, not wanting to wake the bundle in his arm, he headed over and opened the backdoor seeing it was raining again.

Better call them in. Maybe give her an extra scoop to cheer her up.

But he stopped himself before he could call out seeing he was fretting over nothing. In fact all he could do is smile as he watched the two children "waltz" around, continuing even after the phone's battery had died hours ago and they had gotten drenched by the fresh rain.

All Might sat down on the top step. He'd let them stay out a little longer, let

them continue splashing mud about every time their bare feet danced and lept in the muddy puddles that were their ballroom. Dancing while the pitter patter of rain and their laughter serenaded them.

Author notes/thoughts

Told cha it'd be longer. Heading back to college but because Co-vid my campus is...depressing? Either way, I got a few classes luckily. So ample amount of free time.

Yeah, I didn't do the Yagi conversations because really, its just a bunch of business jargon and I really just wanted to give the important part.

Read the last part with this playing in the background.

YouTube the song- I'm Yours/Perfect Two (Jason Mraz, Auburn Mash up Cover) - Madilyn Paige ft Royal Fire Lyrics

I heard this playing while writing this ending nearly made me sob (okay, I cried.).

Fumiko Kanda - First name means: "Child of treasured beauty."

Sakura Sawa- First name means: "Cherry blossom. Though probably knew that.

Makoto Sawa- first name means Sincerity.

Emiko Kanda - first name means blessed child

I see this more as friendship love, y'all but you can interpret as you want.

Barbies are heroies….get it? haha...

And yes, those two women's conversation/thought process...I felt gross just writing it. Sad that some think this.

I can see Manual, the Seymour Skinner of heros IMO, would totally have his writing utensils and such. He's so nice but so unassuming.

I have a few one-shot/series I might put out but seriously its comments

Y'all will enjoy the next one. Here's a little teaser.

NEXT TIME ON Our Teachers are Tykes:

Operation: MR Rogers: Bakugo goes from boogie man to a sweetheart.

Teaser:

"No." Bakugo said adamantly, he wasn't doing it no matter how desperate he was to fix the current situation.

"Come on! What better way to wipe that bad image than to be a team player!" Kirishima pushed the outfit into his hands.

"But...WHY THIS!?" Bakugo threw the garment back in the shark toothed boy's face. He couldn't do it, he just couldn't!

"Come on! Listen, this is the last thing I can think of, after this...well, you're screwed until this ends."

Bakugo turned his back to him as they lay the outfit on his bed.

"Just think about it man...we're not gonna force you."

*Slam*

"Hmmmph! Good riddance." Bakugo went to toss the outfit in the when he saw kirishima had placed another thing with it. It was a drawing. Of an interpretation of him.

"Goddamn it…" he muttered before staring at what might be the most awful experience in his life. But if it ended this torturous treatment he'd do it, doesn't mean he'll like it.
