"What the fuck am i even supposed to do now?!"

I glared fiercely at the reflection on the water surface of a small lake, because staring back at me was a Riolu, a Pokemon.

But you see, the thing is that I am a human! I was one just a few hours ago, or however long ago I went to sleep, but then I woke up as a Riolu in a damn forest!

I threw my head back and groaned loudly as I slumped to the ground. I really want to punch something right now!

I don't know what to do, or where to go, and I don't even know where I am to be exact! I am probably in the Pokemon world, but in which one?

Usually, the 'human-turned-Pokemon' trope is for the Mystery Dungeons games, which I absolutely loved, but if I am in one such setting, then I would have been woken up by my fellow Pokemon partner.

So if I am not inside the Mystery Dungeon setting, I am probably inside the anime. But in which region am I?

"Well, at least I can still talk. That's both a blessing and a curse." I sigh and sit up, throwing another glance around the clearing with the lake. I should really start walking to look for some food, or signs of civilization.

"I swear to god, if a Pokemon attacks me I am going to punch them so hard!" I growl, then throw another glance at my reflection. What has me confused is that I look different from a normal Riolu.

Not only am I bigger than a normal Riolu, as I am probably around 3' feet in height, but my color scheme is also different. A Riolu's color scheme is usually blue and black, other than the shiny ones, but mine is black and crimson.

Oh well, I look amazingly cute so it's okay.

I stand up, give my new body a stretch, then turn around and walk into the forest. I don't know what moves I have, and I don't even know how to activate them, so I'll have to rely on my pawerful fists to protect myself.

Get it?

PAWerful. Eh?

No?

Okay.

I'll remember this, mark my woof.

I am so lonely…

I shake my head and try not to come up with more lame puns and instead focus on looking around. There's only trees and bushes everywhere and a couple of Pokemons here and there.

I turn my head at the sound of barking and blink as I see two Pokemons squaring against each other, pretty sure that's a Patrat and that's a Lillipup. They are Pokemons from the Black and White game so I should be in the Unova Region.

I ignore the two Pokemons and keep walking, but I stop when I see a fist-sized blue ball fall from a tree. If that's an Oran Berry, then I'll gladly eat it.

But just as I was about to pick it up, a damn Patrat jumped in front of me and growled. The fact that they don't shout out their own damn names makes me raise a furry brow, but I just shrug and keep walking towards the growling Patrat.

And then socked the motherfucker right in the face with a mean right hook.

The rodent Pokemon flew and smashed into a tree a fair distance away, then slid down on the ground and remained there unmoving.

"Holy shit." I blinked and stared at my pawsome fist, then blinked again when I felt some kind of energy flow into me and making me feel more energized. "Did I just fucking gain experience?"

I gaped at my own paws, the grabbed the Oran Berry before checking on the Pokemon to make sure the poor fucker isn't dead as I didn't expect my punch to pack that much power in it.

I flipped the rodent around, stared at the swirling eyes that appear in the anime when a Pokemon is defeated, and then just walked away. I guess there's both anime and game logic here.

"What to do now?" I sigh and munch on the very delicious and juicy berry as I just keep walking aimlessly. I don't even know what I'll do after I find civilization, but hopefully I won't become someone's pet.

If I'll ever become a someone's Pokemon, it'll be to a trainer of my own choice and that I like, not just to some random that wants me cause I am rare and cute looking.

If what I felt earlier is really something similar to experience and it will let me grow stronger, then I can easily just walk around and fight any kind of Pokemon I run into, but that could be easier to do if I knew how to use any moves.

I should be able to use Quick Attack, maybe, but other than that I dunno. I don't remember many moves as I haven't played Pokemon in a long time.

Riolu is a Fighting type Pokemon, so I should know a move of that type too hopefully.

"Oh well, might as well try it out." I look around and pick another Patrat as a testing dummy, then concentrate to try and feel some sort of energy within my body.

I grinned in excitement when I actually started to feel something, specifically three different kinds of energies. A very calm and steady one, a very hard and heavy one, and a slightly hot and erratic one.

I focus on the calm and steady one and call it forth, and soon feel it course through my body as a white aura envelopes me and makes me feel as light as a feather.

"Holy crap…" I gape as I stare at that flowing white energy, before I focus back on what I wanted to do and stared straight towards the poor Patrat that will soon be my victim.

I stomp on the ground, and my eyes go wide when I appear right in front of the Patrat the next second. I waste no time and punch him in the face like I did with the other one, but this time my punch was more sloppy as it was in a hurry.

There was a rush of wind as the white aura disappeared and the Patrat was sent flying and rolling before slumping to the ground, and I felt the same rush of energy flow into me like with the first one.

That must have been Quick Attack for sure.

"That was way too fast…" I rubbed my sore wrist slightly, then sent an apologetic gaze towards the Pokemon slumped to the floor.

With a sigh, I dragged the poor guy under a tree and laid him there, then found another tree to test my moves on. I'd feel horrible using these poor guys as a way to test what my moves are.

This time I focus on the hard and heavy energy, and I watch with wide eyes as very long silver claws grow out of my paws, stopping after having grown to five inches.

I test them out on the tree in front of me and whistle when they carve through the trunk without a problem. It's like pushing a knife through butter, I don't even need to put strength behind it. Good thing I didn't test this on a Pokemon, else it would have been bloody. This is definitely Metal Claw.

Now, let's test the last move. I doubt it's a fire type move even thought it feels slightly hot. Or maybe it is and I know Fire Punch somehow? It would be a welcome surprise but I hope I don't set this forest on fire.

I call forth on that energy and watch as my arms start glowing white from the elbow to my paws. My muscles tense as my arms move by themselves and form an X in front of my chest.

Is this some sort of defense move or is it Cross Chop?

I take a deep breath before lashing out, my eyes going wide when the trunk of the tree just blows up under the force of the blow.

I jump away when the tree starts falling, causing a lot of Pokemon to run away from the ruckus.

I roll my stiff shoulders and stare at the fallen tree with a frown. Is it common for moves to pack so much power behind them or is it just me? I'm afraid of even using them on other Pokemons seeing how powerful they are, unless they deserve it that is.

I suddenly hear the loud sound of flapping wings, like dozens of birds taking flight at the same time. I lift my head up to stare at the sky through the crack left behind my a tree and see a lot of gray bird-like Pokemons, probably Pidoves, flying up into the sky.

Something must have scared them so I might as well go and take a look. Usually animals leave when a predator is nearby, so Pokemons might do the same when they see a strong Pokemon. Or maybe it's a human?

I shrug, then start jogging towards the commotion. I use Quick Attack to speed myself up so that I don't loose whatever scared those Pokemons, and to get used to the immense speed boost so that it doesn't catch me by surprise again. It did help me find out that it lasts just five seconds each time I use it.

I soon reach a large clearing and slide to a stop when I notice the reason why so many Pokemons fled from the area. There was a giant dog with what looked like the mother of all mustaches on his face, dark blue and brown fur and a very large body. Hell, the fucker is slightly bigger than me too and is built like a truck.

This is the last evolution of a Lillipup right? Pretty sure it's name is Stoutland.

I can't help but wonder how much experience this big boy will give me, and he does look like he could be taken down a peg or two with how prideful he looks.

His gaze snaps towards me, and not even a second later he releases a terrifyingly loud roar that shakes the grass and trees, but it doesn't scare me off, instead it just makes me more excited.

Have I always been a battle junkie or is this a new thing?

I don't waste time and use Quick Attack to speed myself up and appear in front of the large dog Pokemon, cocking my fist back and punching him right in the face hard enough to make him slide across the ground for a few feet.

Stoutland shakes his head and glares at me, then released another roar, this one even more furious that the one from before, before charging at me with powerful and heavy stomps.

I rose a brow when I saw the flames pouring out of it's mouth, then my eyes widened when I noticed his glowing red teeth. Fucker's knows Fire Fang huh? I'd rather not be on the receiving hand of that.

I use Quick Attack again to move away from his fangs, then instantly use Cross Chop against his side. The impact was loud and powerful, drowning out his roar of pain as he was sent rolling across the ground and smash against a tree at the edge of the small clearing.

Fighting Type moves are super-effective against Normal Type Pokemons, so I have the advantage, but this guy is a damn tank! He's already standing up and looks even more pissed than before.

My eyes widen when a yellow aura envelopes Stoutland's body, then he blasts towards me with terrifying speed and power, displacing the air itself and cratering the ground he was standing on.

"Holy shit!" I yelp and manage to throw myself out of the way, staring wide eyed as he turns a whole tree into smithereens on impact. What the fuck is that move?!

I hear him grunt as he sways left and right, yellow sparks dancing around him. That move had high power but it must also have a huge drawback, and I won't let this chance go!

I grin and use Quick Attack once more, mixing it with Cross Chop to add even more damage, then hit him in the same spot I hit him before, sending him sprawling on the ground for a dozen plus feet before he rolled to a stop.

"You really are a tank…" I groan, rolling my shoulders as the Stoutland slowly and shakily stands while glaring towards me. If I was a trainer I'd definitely want catch this guy, he'd need some more training though as he is very slow and predictable.

Oh well, I'm not one to speak about. I need to train my body so that I can keep up with my moves and power them up some more.

I get ready to hit him with another Cross Chop, but stop when Stoutland crumbles to the ground and his eyes turn into swirls. Glad I didn't have to hit him even more, my shoulders are already incredibly stiff.

I stir, then grin when I feel the massive amount of 'experience' that pours into me. Is this something that happens to all Pokemons when they win a fight or is it just for me? Because if it's not, it might be a good way to train Pokemons, actually having them go around and fight against other wild Pokemons just to grow in power.

But I feel like that's just too mean. I'll just fight any Pokemon that picks a fight with me.

"I learned a new move?" I feel another strand of energy appear inside me, another Steel Type move from the feel of it.

Just as I was about to test it out I freeze and throw a look around. I'm pretty sure I just heard a very faint voice. I don't know if there is a human around or it was just my imagination.

My fluffy ears twitch again as I hear the voice once more. I can't make out what it's saying, but I did hear the direction it was coming from and it's quite close.

I use Quick Attack to rush towards the voice, hearing it grow more and more clear and raising a brow when I realize it's a girl's voice, and she seemed to be shouting.

"Fine! I don't care anymore!" I hear the voice crack slightly, as if the girl is on the verge of crying, making me speed up some more and finally reach the site of the commotion. "I did my best! But you just want to be an idiot and refuse to listen, and do whatever you want! Go away!"

I peek my head out through some bushes and stare at the girl kneeling on the ground in front of a Snivy, who snorts and throws his head back before just walking away, leaving behind a shattered pokeball. The hell is going on here?

"I never wanted you anyway!" The girl screams, loud sobs wreaking through her body as she covers her eyes while tears pour down her cheeks.

I take my time to appraise the crying girl, and the more I stare at her the more familiar she looks.

Dark brown hair tied in two large sock buns above her ears, with two long locks hanging loose to her waists and two shorter ones framing her face. A slim, slightly curvaceous tall body with a white, pink and ice blue colored top, frilly flared mustard yellow shorts, black leggings and ice blue shoes.

That's Rosa isn't she? So then am am I in the Black and White 2 setting, or is it just a coincidence?

Oh well, this is none of my business. I pull back from the bushes and go to walk back to the clearing where I defeated the Stoutland so that I can test my new move, but I stop when I hear the girl speak again.

"Why do I fail at everything…" She sobs, and I sigh through my nose at that. I'd feel horrible to leave her like this as she might never recover, and I am looking for a good trainer so…

I walk out of the bushes and towards her, picking up the hat she had throw away while approaching her, then place a soft paw against her cheek.

"Eh?" She stirs, sniffling a few times as she blinks at me, her eyes puffy and red from crying. "A Pokemon…?" She sniffles again, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a large red phone and points the camera my way. I grin and hold two fingers up as a victory sign just because.

"Riolu the Emanation Pokemon. Gender: Female. Height 3''10. Nature: Hardy. Moves known: Quick Attack, Metal Claw, Cross Chop and Bullet Punch." The pokedex spoke up in a female voice, and I raised a brow when it listed my moves out. Is that new or was that always in the show? I don't remember.

At least it told me what my new moves is, I just don't know what it is. Can I stretch my arm out like Luffy did with his Pistol punch?

"You aren't a Pokemon from this region, how did you get here…" Rosa asks, sniffing a few times as she reaches out to scratch the top of my head.

Oh shit, that feels good! No shit dogs always want scratches and pets! I could get used to this- wait, no! I have my own pride!

"Stop!" I jumped back and shook my head, rubbing the top of it with my paws before I freeze, realizing that I just spoke. I look up and share a wide eyed look with Rosa, and I am actually considering running away.

"You just talked didn't you!?" She gapes at me, getting on all fours and staring at me with literal stars in her eyes. I just cross my arms and shake my head, looking away as her fingers start poking my cheek over and over. "You did! You definitely did!"

"It's just your imagination." I grumble out as she starts squishing my cheeks, the stars in her eyes turning into literal suns and blinding me. What did I get myself into!?

"You just spoke again!" Fuck! I kick my legs as she lifts me up and starts hugging me like I am some sort of squishy toy, but my protests quickly die when she starts scratching my head again. "You're so cute! And you look so cool too!" I grumble and try not to enjoy the scratches she is giving me, until I feel her shoulders sag as she puts me back down.

"Say, would you like to become my Pokemon…?" She asks, twisting the fabric of her shirt in her hands as she looks with worry in her eyes. The fact that she is asking instead of just throwing a pokeball is already a big yes for me.

Besides, she is very nice and that was already the idea. Albeit I'll probably end up getting dragged in the main story if I stick by her, meaning, facing a Legendary Pokemon like Kyurem.

Actually, the thought of fighting a Legendary Pokemon fills me with excitement for some reason.

"I don't mind." I shrug, and her eyes go wide and a massive smile spreads across her lips. Hell, I can see tears starting to pour out of her eyes again! "That snotty Snivy doesn't deserve you, a pawsome Pokemon like me is much better." I state and point my nose a the sky, grinning when she giggles until she froze.

"Did you just make a pun?" That's going to become a very bad habit at this rate.

Rosa shakes her head with a smile, and grabs the back that rested on the grass before pulling out a miniature pokeball, and I watched as it enlarged in her hand. She turned towards me, reaching forward to tap the button against me before she froze.

I gave her a comforting smile when I saw her hesitating, and then leaned forward to tap my own head against the button of the pokeball.
And then everything went red.

I blinked when I found myself floating in the air, and when I looked around I realized that I could see the outside world through the pokeball. Perhaps that's how some Pokemons are capable of coming out of their Pokeballs by themselves at the right time.

Everything goes red once more, and the next second I am back outside of the Pokeball and inside Rosa's arms, her shoulders shaking slightly as she sniffles.

"It's okay." I comfort her, tapping my paws on her back as she gets it out of her system. "Say, do you want another Pokemon?" The Stoutland I just defeated should still be there and unconscious, so he could be up for grab.

"Another one?" Rosa pulls back, staring at me in confusion before she wipes her eyes and stands with me in her arms. I'm a bit too big to be carried around but she doesn't seem to care.

"I defeated a strong Stoutland not far from here, he should still be unconscious there." I point in the direction I came from, and Rosa quickly collects her things and walks off in said direction.

Now that I think about it, we should still be on Route 1 since she just had her starter Pokemon with her, so encountering a Stoutland here is definitely not common. But maybe the real Pokemon World doesn't follow the game logic, so I shouldn't think that way.

"Oh wow!" I perk up and notice that we arrived at the clearing with the unconscious Stoutland. Rosa gapes at the destroyed remnants of the tree the big guy blew up with that powerful move before she hurries up beside him to tap a pokeball against his head.

I watch as the pokeball rolls tree times before making a chiming sound, and by the huge excited grin on Rosa's face I take it that the sound means a successful capture.

She kneels down and while placing me beside her, then pulls out her Pokedex and holds it above the Pokeball.

"Stoutland, the Big-Hearted Pokemon…" I hold back the urge to snort at that, "Gender: Male. Height: 3''30. Nature: Brave. Moves known: Tackle, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Bite and Take Down." So the move that he used against me aside Fire Fang was Take Down, which has a recoil to it. Still, he has quite a lot of moves.

"You defeated him?!" Rosa gaped at the pokedex, and I puffed up my chest with pride as I grinned and nodded.

"I had the type advantage, and he is quite slow and predictable. He'll need some training but he can tank a lot of good hits." Rosa nods her head, but the huge grin on her face never fades as she picks me up in a tight hug while thanking me over and over again.

"You are so much better than that stupid Snivy!" She then blinks and looks at me with a weird look as she sets me down again. "Now that I think about it, how did you get here, and how can you talk? I'm sure there is no Dungeon around here…" I raise a brow at the last part, and I file that bit of information for later.

"I don't know how I am able to speak myself, neither do I know how I got here." I lie, and Rosa pouts and glares at the floor before sighing and shrugging, probably mad that she won't get any answers.

"We should get out of here…" I state as I glance up at the sky, noticing that it's starting to get dark, and Rosa nods before she picks me up and starts walking in the direction we came from.

"I stayed here far longer than I wanted to, but at least it allowed me to meet you and capture a Stoutland!" I smile at her excitements as her arms tighten up around me slightly, "I just hope Hilda didn't leave without me!" Hilda? As in the main female character from the first Black and White game? I'm starting to think that this world isn't so similar to the anime or games. Especially after I heard that Dungeon tidbit.

I shrug and simply lean back against Rosa as she walked to her destination. I'll learn everything as I go, for now I'll just relax. I don't have any plans either way and there isn't much I can do since I am a Pokemon, but now I'll definitely grow stronger using the method of taking out other Pokemons for 'experience' so to assist Rosa.

I'll bring her to the top of the Unova Region, that's for sure.
