" Ah, Manny- Jack why did you not say something," said North. Jack glared at him. "It's good to see you old friend. What is big news?" A deep calm voice entered their minds
"Pitch Black has returned once again." Jack stiffened. He hated how calm Manny sounded.
"Are you all right Jackson?" asked Mim.
"I'm fine."
"Jackson? Ha! I'm gonna use that." declared Bunny.
"You wouldn't dare."
"Enough."
"Sorry."
"Manny what must we do? We are not prepared," asked North.
"It's alright Nickolas for I have a solution." the guardian stone rose from the ground
"What? Another guardian?" asked Tooth.
"Yes, Toothiana. A new guardian" replied Mim.
"I wonder who it's gonna be this time!" chittered Tooth a four-leafed clover formed over Sandy's head.
"Maybe the Leprechaun?" Tooth translated.
"Please not the groundhog...Please not the groundhog...Please not the groundhog." Bunny chanted under his breath.
"You have a problem with Bartholimule?" Asked Jack.
"Yes, he's so annoying."
An image of a girl formed in the stone. Under it was a name but no one could make out what it said. Seeing their confusion Mim said
"Her name is Sof."
"So like Sophie?" asked Jack.
"No just, Sof."
"Great. Jack go pick her up," said North
"What! Why do I have to go?"
"you're the youngest guardian. it's our rule," said Bunny.
"Why did no one tell me about this 'rule'?" asked Jack
"If you read the guardian handbook you would know," replied Tooth.
"Fine. I'll go pick her up. Where does she live?"
"The question is where doesn't she live" Mim grumbled under his breath.
"What did you say?"
"New York City"
"Got it. See you guys soon."
"Jack wait," called North.
"What?"
"Take a snow globe."
Thanks, North I'll use it on the way back. Bye!" said Jack, as he flew out of an opened window
