Ride On Chapter 7 (Original chapter Chapter 139)

With a roar, the being that Trickster referred to as Genesis leapt forwards, its (Her? His?) seven arms extended, with the three claws glowing with some purple light around them. Something told me that I didn't want to be hit by that, even as an intangible ghost, so I floated back quickly to avoid seven swipes from squid-like arms.

...OK, this is hitting a 9.0 on weird-o-meter.

Snapping out my FMTW in Gun Mode, I fired a small flurry of energy bolts at the...thing that was Genesis that buried into the monster's skin, making it howl in anger. Huh...I guess it was a projection rather than a Changer then; no blood.

"Using live ammo, huh? Not very heroic!" Trickster called out as I floated up and out of Genesis' reach.

"Heroic means a different thing nowadays than it did before the advent of comic books and Capes." I chuckled harshly. "In the old days, a hero was someone who killed the most people on the battlefield and survived. Or even managed to survive against all odds in a last stand or massacre. This is my last stand against that bastard Coil. Either I die tonight, or he will. There will be no middle ground."

"Dark." the top hat-wearing Cape remarked. "I think I'll go with option three though; you get your ass beaten down and getting dragged in front of Coil so that we get a payday. Sundancer, get her."

"Trickster, I can't use my power on a human!" the girl protested.

"Then don't; scare her down with them, do something for fuck sake!" the leader snapped. Looks like although he was a leader, he wasn't exactly popular.

Shaking her head but acquiescing, Sundancer held her hands out...and a giant ball of fucking plasma appeared that she fired at me! Unfortunately for her, she picked the wrong suit to use this on.

I simply deactivated my intangibility and allowed it to hit me, since obviously she expected me to dodge. Almost as soon as the roiling ball of plasma made it within an inch of my suit's surface, it was sucked into the glowing lines of circuitry that line my suit and vanishing. I'd absorbed it completely and restored 1% of the Plasma Power I'd expended with everything I'd done so far tonight, which brought me back up to 98% power.

"Wha...?!" Sundancer was gaping at me in disbelieving shock. Huh, looks like no one's ever so-sold her power before. The rest of them, even Genesis, looked utterly gobsmacked.

"You people obviously weren't listening." I drawled icily. "This suit is called [Phantom Plasma]. It is powered by plasma, is immune to plasma and can replenish its stores of power by absorbing plasma. All Sundancer just did was give me a boost of power; she's a walking battery to this suit. Your so-called trump card is useless against me."

Sundancer backed off as the intimidating mask I wore coupled with the realization that all her power could do was power me up struck home. "Trickster..."

"Ballistic, Genesis, now!" the leader growled.

At his word, Ballistic, who had retreated while I focused on Sundancer, slammed his hand into another air-con intake unit, sending it towards me like a missile, which made me hastily reactivate my suit's intangibility, which should have let is sail right through me...

...when suddenly the mass of metal was replaced by Genesis' massive form! What the fuck?!

The seven arms of Genesis lanced out and this time, I couldn't dodge in time. Three scraped along my abdomen, two across my chest, and the remaining two across my helmet before Genesis phased through me and sailed down to land on the roof behind me. All of the glowing claws had, somehow, been ably to cut my intangible body!

Fortunately for me, my armor was very much built Tonka Tough and I only lost 3% of the suit's integrity, which the auto-repair systems were already regenerating. But the fact that I'd been damaged at all woke me up. I had to take this fight seriously, or Coil would have me in his clutches.

"Congratulations, Travelers." I said as I shifted my weapon into Sword Mode. "You have now officially made me take you all seriously."

I pressed a the right button on my belt before pressing the button on the hilt of my sword , making both light up.

[Rider Omega Break Slash!]

An orange glow interspersed with white dots of light surrounded the sword; pure plasma, tainted with my own power. Turning to face Genesis, I unleashed the power with a shout and a diagonal slash, sending a wave of plasma energy out that engulfed Genesis...and most of the warehouse that it had been standing on. Before Genesis vanished, I saw that it had been split in two by my attack.

"GENESIS!" Sundancer yelled in worry.

Silently switching my weapon back to Gun Mode, I turned around to point it at the remaining three Travelers and pulled the trigger. I wasn't really aiming to hit anyone, but I wouldn't really complain if I did. None of these three were any threat to me now that I'd eliminated Genesis. Sundancer was of slight concern, as she might be able to overcharge my suit, but all I needed to do was discharge my energy to make that a nonissue.

The three took cover from my random shooting, which might be somewhat deadly for the average human body, now I come to think of it. Plasma was damned hard to make less-lethal.

"Dammit! Work! Why won't you work?!" Trickster growled from behind the smashed up air-con intake unit. "Why the hell won't my power work on you?!"

"Ah, you would be a tele-swapper, then? You exchange two people or objects or some mixture of the two in space?" I theorized based on what I had seen. His was the only power I'd not seen used, so it had to be him who switched out the unit for Genesis.

"So fucking what?!"

"Teleporters usually work with either weight or mass if they aren't touch or self limited, so in either case you are screwed." I answered with a grin in my voice. "See, I'm intangible right now. I have no weight and no mass, so whatever power it is that you have can't affect me. Sundancer can't use her power on me without powering me up, and Ballistic, I think his name was, can't do jack shit to me either. I call checkmate."

Ceasing fire, I floated to the left before switching to invisibility from intangibility. "Now you see me...now you don't!"

"Shit! Where the fuck did she go?!" Trickster shouted. He was probably trying to use his power on the area where I had vanished, when I had reversed course and flown to the right and around to next to Sundancer. I smirked and activated my telekinetic ability, making Trickster's hat glow orange. While I couldn't use TK on a living human or even an animal (damn Manton Limit), I could use it on objects touching living beings...such as Trickster's hat.

"Hey, what the fuck?!" Trickster shouted as his hat lifted off his head and flew away to hover at approximately where I had floated before turning invisible. I then sent his hat hurtling towards him and smacked him in the face with it, making him recoil from the shock of his own headgear attacking him, if not the pain.

"She's fucking taunting us!" the leader of the Travelers cursed.

"Trickster, we should get out! This guy's completely neutralized us!" Ballistic urged him. "You and I can do jack shit, Sundancer's just gonna power him up if she uses her power and Genesis is down for the count!"

"Fuck...fuck!" Trickster seethed as he jammed his hat back on his head. "We can't! The fucking bastard has to go down!"

"How?! We can't even touch her, never mind capture her!" Sundancer shouted. While she was distracted, I palmed a little device the size of a bluebottle and stuck it to the underside of one of the decorative suns that made up her costume. It was one of the things that I had built during Coil's three days of grace, a small trump card of mine.

They'd hopefully run soon and head right back to Coil's base...where I'd beat the bastard into submission, get him to reveal how he'd uncovered my real identity and then...

...I'd have to kill him. There was no other way this could end. He was a danger to me and to Dad. No way could he be allowed to threaten us, not after this. I'd be a fool to allow it.

"Fuck...FUCK!" Trickster screamed in frustrated anger. "Fine! We'll go back and god fucking help me if Coil refuses to fucking pay us for this!"

I did feel a little sympathetic towards him...it wasn't as if I'd planned it that way, but my current suit was simply the perfect counter for the attacks and powers of the Travelers, rendering them utterly useless. Coincidental, yes, but also highly useful for, oh I don't know...infiltrating hidden bases belonging to douchebag Capes with no morals.

"What if the bitch follows us back?" Sundancer hesitated. Damn, so at least one of them had a working brain...

"Tch. If she thinks she can fight an entire company of mercs, plus us, plus Noelle...then she's so fucking wrong that it ain't even funny." Trickster chuckled darkly before raising his voice. "You hear me, bitch!? You come to our place and we'll fuck you up! You'll be dead, you hear me?! DEAD!"

Rather than reply, I remained silent, simply letting the silence and sounds of nighttime Brockton Bay be his answer. Cursing like a sailor (or a dockworker), Trickster swirled around and headed towards the fire escape. "C'mon, let's get the fuck outta here."

I floated above them as they all headed down the fire escape and piled into a van down below. Swooping down to float above it, I followed the van as it drove through Brockton Bay. Thanks to my knowledge of the city, I could tell that the driver was simply driving around in a completely random pattern, probably in an effort to throw off anyone following them.

Even if I couldn't fly, I would've been able to keep up with this speed easily. [Phantom Plasma] could run 100 meters every 5.8 seconds, which wasn't too bad if you ask me. Most of this suit's abilities were fairly average compared to the others; it was the special ghost-like abilities and multiform weapon that made this one so special.

'Coil...I'm coming for you!' I thought darkly as I followed the van around Brockton Bay. 'You will rue the day that you dared to threaten my father's life.'

Meanwhile...

Masked Rider's Base

With a pair of electronic beeps, the two safes unlocked and their doors swung open.. From inside one, the Golden Zecter emerged and flew over to the other safe, which contained its access card. It ignored the slumbering man on the makeshift bed nearby.

With a beep of its own, the most powerful of its creator's Zecters took flight once again and flew through the ventilation duct that was still untouched, something that it made a reminder to tell its creator about, and out into Brockton Bay proper.

Its mistress needed its power tonight.

Back with Taylor

After driving all over the Bay, the van FINALLY turned into a building lot that looked like an abandoned construction site. Inside the lot, the van entered a seemingly-half-built building that was actually a fully functional garage, full of unremarkable cars, vans and a single ARV that looked like it had been a SWAT van in a previous life.

This was insane, what the hell kind of base was this guy operating?!

As the Travelers piled out of their van and headed in through the elevator, I knew that I had to follow them, but not in a cramped elevator; it would be too easy for one of them to accidentally touch me inside it. Instead, I waited as the doors closed and the elevator started to descend. Then, I flew towards the doors, switching to intangible at the very last second before returning to invisible once I was through the doors.

The shaft was dark, but my night vision helped with that. I floated down, making sure not to touch the roof of the elevator as we went down. There were at least five floors underground, which was quite amazing considering the aquifer that Brockton Bay sat on. It was one reason why there wasn't an underground subway here.

When the elevator came to a halt, I grinned. There was a air vent grill just above the elevator. Adjusting myself so I was horizontal, I floated down, hovered just above the surface of the elevator and peered out of the grill. It was a fair sized lobby, with at least five merc...no, eight, three more just marched in, with the Travelers standing around in the middle of the lobby, Trickster waiting impatiently, flanked by Sundancer and Ballistic.

There were three double-doors into the lobby, four if you counted the elevator doors, and the mercs (henchmen, I suppose) had come from the ones on my right. When Coil arrived, he came from the central ones. He was a whipcord-thin man, who wore a skintight black bodysuit, with a white snake decal wrapping around one leg, twisting around his body and neck to end up atop his head.

I was immediately suspicious. Coil had struck me as a careful, paranoid man who operated at a distance from everyone, even his own subordinates. For his mercs to not know his power wouldn't be unusual, but I had also scoured as much of PHO as I could in the last three days; no one was sure if the man even was a Parahuman, and the sightings of him were as rare as hen's teeth. So for him to just appear to greet a group of self-admitted mercenary Capes was more than slightly suspicious...

"Trickster. I believe you were supposed to retrieve something for me." Coil(?) said coolly.

"The bitch was too fucking slippery, and her suit had more powers than just intangibility!" the top hat-wearing cape snarled. "She could fly, shoot energy bolts, launch energy with a sword, absorb Sundancer's fucking suns like cans of juice...oh yeah, and she could turn fucking invisible!"

"...I see." Coil said evenly. "As per usual, you are only paid a quarter for an unsuccessful job completion. It is a very good thing that I had a backup plan, just in case this occurred."

"You expected us to fail?!" Trickster snarled.

"No, I simply prefer to have contingencies in line for IF a plan fails to pan out as I predicted." the Cape replied coolly. "I believe the Undersiders should be here shortly. They should be taking the second entrance to get here."

So he has multiple ways in and out of this place, huh? Crafty like a fox. Doubtless he has a secret bolthole that he can escape through just for himself, the coward. What worried me was the mention of the Undersiders though. To my knowledge they were a small gang of thieves who specialized in hit-and-run tactics, with a fairly good record of coming out ahead of the law...hmm, so Coil has hired the Travelers and he presumably controls the Undersiders...he's a lot more dangerous than what is known about him gives him credit for.

A moment later and four teens dressed in costume entered. One, a dirty blond girl, wearing a purple bodysuit with a golden Egyptian eye symbol on her chest, one wearing biker clothing and helmet with a skull mask underneath the helmet, one, another girl, wearing hobo-like clothing and a dime-store dog mask and the other was wearing a baggy shirt and a Venetian style mask. He also twirled a scepter in one hand. There were also three dogs following

What made my heart freeze was the man being dragged by wearing a bag over his head and dressed in similar clothes to what my Dad had worn earlier today. It was obvious what they intended to portray: they'd raided my home and taken my father. More fool them, I'd hit Dad with a knockout gas that would make sure he slept in until the break of dawn and stashed him in my hideout just in case Coil thought of something like this. How very predictable.

"I'm not happy about this, Coil." the biker guy said flatly, his voice hollow and muffled.

"You do not have to be, Grue. You merely have to obey." Coil said coldly. "Tattletale, has our guest arrived yet?"

The dirty blond girl started looking around almost casually. Tattletale was rumored to be a Thinker on PHO, with rampant speculation about exactly what she could do, but she claimed to be psychic. That was almost certainly bullshit meant for intimidation, so I guessed some kind of perception power or cold reading. I was fairly confident that she couldn't find me though; I was invisible, hidden in the elevator shaft and not making any sound.

"No sign of her...but she left a present on Sundancer." the Undersider announced, much to the named girl's shock. Shit. Figured she'd find it. With no hesitation whatsoever, I triggered the device.

A loud shriek came from Sundancer as the small device started to broadcast a loud noise specifically tuned to be excruciatingly and paralyzingly painful to the human ear, to the point that everyone nearby, the Travelers, the Undersiders, the mercs and the (probably fake) Coil. As one, the dogs, sat back and howled. As they had a higher range of hearing than a human did, I guess this was a lot more painful for them, huh? Sorry.

Deciding that it was time, I turned intangible and phased through the elevator beneath me and then through the doors. Everyone was on the ground, cradling their ears in agony...good thing my suit was filtering out the noise for my part.

"Y-You...?!" Trickster growled from his position sprawled out on the floor.

I just waved to him cheekily and crossed over to where the man in the hood lay. I deactivated my intangibility and ripped the hood off. Sure enough, it wasn't my Dad, just a terrified merc. I then stalked over to the prostate 'Coil' and picked him up with one hand, deactivating the shrieking device with my other. Everyone else slumped in relief at the cessation of the assault on their poor ears.

"Coil...or are you really?" I mused aloud.

"I...am Coil!" the man wheezed.

I drew my FMTW and fired a single shot into his kneecap. He screamed in pain and everyone else recoiled at the sudden action.

"Once again, are you Coil?" I asked evenly. "The next shot is going between your legs if you lie to me again."

"I...no...NO!" the man reached up and ripped off his mask, revealing a panicked man's face. "I'm just a merc, his body double! He made me come here!"

"How pedestrian." I sighed as I tossed the man aside. "Coil, if you're listening, I tire very much of these games. If I have to tear this entire base apart looking for you, I will. And if you try to do something incredibly clichéd like self-destruct the base, I can turn intangible. All doing that will accomplish is killing everyone in the base apart from me. You will doubtless have fled like the craven coward that you are long before the countdown hits zero."

There was silence as the Travelers, mercs and Undersiders gazed at me in shock before a voice spoke over the announcement system, one that I noticed Tattletale shuddered at hearing. Obviously she didn't like him much either.

"And what might I call you?"

I laughed harshly. "Pretending to play by the rules after threatening to expose my real identity to the gangs? Get real. I am Masked Rider, for the duration of this conversation anyway, and I am here for your head, Coil."

"Not a very heroic attitude." Coil observed, some strain in his voice.

"You are not the first to say so." I bared my teeth unseen by those around me. "But you stepped where angels fear to tread, Coil. You threatened what little family I have left. The instant you did that, all bets were off, you stupid little snake."

"Wait, wait!" Grue said, staggering to his feet. "Are you saying that Coil broke the Unwritten Rules?"

"I have no idea what those are." I informed him.

"Basically, don't unmask other Capes, don't go after their family, don't attack them while they're not in costume and don't over-escalate." Tattletale told me abruptly.

"Ah. In which case, yes, he has." I said with a nod.

"Those rules are a farce that anyone serious about the Cape scene knows are to be played along with and broken when you can get away with it." Coil sneered.

"As interesting as this is, I have things to do other than stand and chat." I said sharply. "So what'll it be, Coil? Are you going to be a good little snake and show yourself? Or am I going to have to play the part of a mongoose and ferret you out of hiding?"

"I think neither." the man on the other end of the tannoy replied coolly. "You really should have submitted to me, Masked Rider...because I remove those who are a bother to me, and right now that is what you have become. I have one more trump card to play...Noelle, my dear, please kill her for me."

"WHAT?!" Trickster bellowed.

Any further conversation was cut off by a female scream that echoed across the loudspeakers. It sounded odd though...almost as if there was an echo in the background.

"What the...does someone know what the hell is going on?" I demanded.

"He's done something to Noelle, that's what!" Ballistic said tightly. "She got caught by the Simurgh's song and is slightly in-"

"Shut up! She isn't insane!" Trickster howled in fury.

"Well she's heading this way!" Sundancer yelled. "And she wouldn't have left her cell if he hadn't done something to her!"

The door to the right opened and a girl in a wheelchair rolled out. "Trickster, what the fuck is going on?!" the girl demanded.

"Ah, so you'd be the Master who creates 'Genesis', correct?" I asked.

"Whoa! What the fuck?!" the girl yelped. She was a fairly average-looking girl with a mop of auburn hair tied into a loose ponytail and looked really freaked out to see me standing near her actual body.

"Coil did something to your friend Noelle that made her go berserk." I said bluntly as the mercs abandoned their guns and fled into the elevator. "I'd get out of here if I were you."

"Fucking goddamn it! Krouse, this is all your fault!" Genesis barked at Trickster. "You just HAD to bring us to this shithole of a city, didn't you?!"

"Kindly don't insult my home and please leave. This isn't your fight." I told her, a gesture from my weapon enough to get her to shut up. Evidently she remembered her projection being cut in half by it in Sword Mode and didn't want to risk me using it on her in person.

"You are not gonna fight Noelle!" Trickster snarled and stood up to face me...before I punched him in the solar plexus and knocked him down for the count.

"Get him out of here." I told Ballistic as I pushed the leader of the Travelers to him.

"Noelle's a good person." the armored boy said. "Please...stop her."

"No promises. Coil's my priority target." I said shortly as the base started rumbling and shaking. "What can she do?"

"Can't tell you. She may be out of control thanks to Coil, but she's my friend." the Striker said as he heaved the still reeling Trickster over his shoulder.

"Welp, I'm out." the scepter guy said as he strolled along towards the elevator. "C'mon, let's blow this lemonade stand. If the ghost guy wants to fight a Cape out to kill, let him."

The dog masked girl was glaring at me as she shepherded her three dogs past me. Well, I admit she had reason to be irked at me, more-so than the rest anyway, so I let her alone. I had bigger things to worry about.

"So you're the Tinker that's had Coil frothing at the mouth." Tattletale grinned as she paused beside me. "Nice to see one of his conscripts fighting back. He told me it was a bullet or working for him, so I'm glad you're taking a stand. Kill him, pretty please? I want to be free of worrying about being drugged up and made into a pet Thinker."

I could tell she was trying to manipulate me, but I let it pass. If she was telling the truth she had reason to. "I'll try." I said dryly. "Any insights before the fight?"

"Noelle has a lot of regeneration. Super-strength too." the Thinker's voice was dead serious. "Whatever he did is likely drug related. He likes drugging his assets if they get out of hand. Cause enough damage to get her regeneration working overtime and you might burn it out of her system and let her regain control. Don't get in physical contact with her. I don't know what will happen, but it won't be good."

"Thanks. I owe you one if it turns out to be true." I said honestly.

"It is." Tattletale gave me a fox-like grin before skipping away. "I'll call on that favor later~!"

Nice to see that she thinks I can get through this unharmed.

As the elevator doors closed on the two groups of villains, the thing called Noelle beat her way through the doors to my left. She was a pretty girl, with straight brown hair and might even have been attractive...were it not for the monstrous lower half that replaced everything from her hips down to her toes. It had its own arms and had mouths covering it that were gibbering as the girl sat atop it, a raving berserker that had eyes dilated from drugs. Attached to one arm was some kind of pharmacopoeia.

"Coil...I am SO going to kill you for this!" I hissed angrily. Being drugged up to the eyeballs like that was my second-worst nightmare, with my Trigger Event taking the number one spot. Seeing this girl like she was made me queasy beyond measure.

I pressed the middle button on my Zecter belt and then a button on my Gun Mode Weapon, making them both flash with light.

[Rider Omega Shot Wave!]

Leveling the weapon at Noelle as she charged towards me, I steadied it with both hands before pulling the trigger, causing a veritable wave of fully ionized plasma to erupt from the pistol-shaped weapon. It slammed into Noelle like the fist of an angry god and started burning her body up.

Plasma is the fourth state of matter in addition to solid, liquid and gas. Fully ionized plasma is what the center of the sun is made up of and that is about 15.7 million Kelvin. While my gun's plasma was nowhere near as hot as that, it was still hot enough that simple proximity to it was burning Noelle's monstrous body apart like soggy tissue paper in a hurricane.

And yet...and yet somehow, the monstrosity was regenerating! The regen factor that she had was insanely powerful. Even as her white flesh blackened and burned away, more grew to replace it.

I lowered my weapon in disbelief as the [Rider Omega Shot Wave] ended. That regeneration was far beyond anything I'd heard of; even Lung had to ramp up quite a bit to pull off that kind of regeneration. And if the special attack of the gun version of the Four-Mode Transformation Weapon couldn't overwhelm her regeneration, then the other modes, which focused on damage to one particular area, would be fairly useless. Still, I had to try.

Shifting the FMTW into Sword Mode, I repeated the attack that had defeated Genesis.

[Rider Omega Break Slash!]

"Haaa!" I shouted as I slashed, blasting Noelle's monster body with my slash, bisecting it and making the bottom half dissolve in a wave of plasma...but the top half started to regenerate almost immediately. Fucking hell, what kind of monster was this girl?!

Switching to Naginata Mode, I pressed one button on my buckle and two on the side of the Naginata.

[Rider Omega Stream Cutter!]

Both blades glowed with orange plasma before I slashed multiple times with the weapon, each cut just as powerful as the [Rider Omega Break Slash]. I cut her monster body into pieces that dissolved...but which regenerated almost immediately.

I idly noticed that [Phantom Plasma] was down to 80% power, which was telling of how much power these attacks consumed if used consecutively.

Pretty soon, Noelle's body was restored to it's intact state...it was that damned pharmacopoeia armband that she had on! I had to get it off of her! Time to try weapon number four...

Switching to Dual Sword Mode, I pressed a button on the hilt of each sword that made them light up.

[Rider Omega Drive Slash Party!]

These names were getting silly...

Both swords charged with bright orange plasma, I started launching slash after slash at Noelle, first eliminating her monster arms for a moment before I sent one that smashed the armband that I was betting was the source of the drug that was pumping her full of drugs.

Unfortunately, an arm regrew just in time to block it. She was starting to advance on me now, and I was all out of weapon attacks, and my FMTW was overheating from the massive overuse of powered up plasma attacks. That didn't mean that I was out of options though.

Switching to intangible mode, reverting the FMTW to Sword Mode and then sheathing it, I then pressed the middle button on my buckle three times.

[Rider Omega Impact!]

Clenching my right hand into a fist, plasma gathered around it before I released all limiters on my punching strength and leapt forwards, driving a punch with all ten tons of my punching power right into the center of mass of the monster called Noelle. The mass of flesh warped around the point of impact, burning with the plasma I used before the monster was flung back, smashing through the walls, which had been badly weakened by the extreme heat of all of the plasma I'd been throwing around.

[Warning! Plasma Over-Saturation in System! Rider Out!]

What the...?!

In an instant, the [Phantom Plasma] suit vanished from around me, the Zecter detaching from my Rider Belt and flying around my head, and I gagged at the sour, fetid smell of what had to be Noelle's monstrous body. What the heck?! Had I used too much plasma without giving it time to mitigate its effects on my suit? Damn it...I'd never used so many power-up attacks in consecutively, so I had no idea why this had happened.

Shit, shit, shit...! This was happening at the worst possible time. That punch sent Noelle across the base, but it won't have put her down for long. Even now, I could hear her body moving around. My only Zecter was down, with the rest back at my base. What could I do now?!

Just as I thought that, a slamming sound came from behind me, and I whirled around to see my Golden Zecter flying at me, having broken through the air grill above the elevator doors! What the hell?! How had it...?

It dropped something from its legs, which I caught automatically. It was the access card that I'd built?! How the hell had the Golden Zecter gotten out of its own safe and in to the other one?!

I eyed the shining Zecter warily, but I had no options here. My basic Rider Suit was far too weak to help me fight Noelle, let alone escape from her.

"If I blow up this base, I am disassembling you." I informed the smugly flying scarab beetle tartly before thrusting out my hand. "Now land already!"

Obediently, the Zecter landed in my outstretched palm, just as another series of roars came from where Noelle had been sent.

"You asked for this, so don't blame me for what happens!" I growled as I slammed the Zecter onto my belt.

[Solar Charge!]

Nervously, I gingerly held the access card for a moment before firming my resolve and pressing the button on the side.

[Masked Rider Pantheon!]

"Transform." I said coldly before inserting the card and pressing the middle button on the Zecter.

[Divine Form!]

Then I was surrounded by golden light.

And that where I'll end it...for the moment.

Hey, so I've finally adjusted, somewhat, to my new computer and word program. Enough to start these up again, anyway. I'll be ending Ride On in the next chapter, then going back to do some more of Force Your Way.

It's been a while since I've read Worm itself, so my description of Noelle's mutated lower body may be incorrect. If it is, please let me know. Enjoy.

Oh, if anyone likes to edit on TV Tropes, please check out the entry for my Bleach story. It's got a lot of bad spelling errors, like Yuroichi' instead of 'Yoruichi' and 'Riatsu' instead of 'Reiatsu'. Cheers.
