Chapter 4 Ironman vs nomu
Y'know, as long as I've known him midoriya was a hero. I learned that after some self assessment and quirk study just how much of a hero he can be. Of course seeing him after a fewyear means I also didn't know how far he'd come and after today I'd learn how far he'd take using his head to save people but goddamn he needs to learn self fu*ing preservation skills.
*In the U.S,J*
The villains were currently staring at armored hero suited up in his mark 2 suit the only one who knew was in there was Aizawa who was concerned more than he showed as shigaraki stared him down "Hmm you weren't on the list but you're an interesting one why the power suit y'know what I don't care kurogiri take care of him" shigaraki orders the mist man who opens a portal below izuku who stay put with his flight system.
"Kurogiri what are you doing send him away already" shigaraki yelled
"I can't young tomura he's keeping himself in the air I am unable deal with that" tomura sticks his hand into another portal as he tries have it grab the leg of izuku's armor as izuku opens his palm and fires a repulsor at shigaraki as hit the pale hand as shigaraki pulled hand out of portal and clenched it in pain "You little nomu kill him now" shigaraki shouted as the large creature approached izuku who flew back around 70 feet
"Jarvis what am I looking at" izuku as Jarvis scans
"It appears artificial sir he's not human his dna shows he's been altered to a large degree and his strength could rival All Might in speed and strength and it's not his quirk sir" j.a.r.v.i.s replies
"Wait it's not" izuku flies up into the air as nomu lunges at him.
"Negative sir the scans show defensive type quirk factor meaning it could possibly have hardening shock absorption kinetic absorption or impact recoil" the A.I list off the possible quirks "also I noticed he had enough quirk factor for 2 separate quirks".
"Okay well then let's see if i can take it down and see these quirks" izuku says kicking his feet back as he boost toward nomu and slams fist into it gut as the punch is absorbed as izuku blast away and back to a safe distance "okay well" izuku says to his armor.
"Shock absorption has been confirmed as it took the force of the punch and was totally unfazed; the other quirk is still a mystery" Jarvis replies.
Izuku flies in and the nomu tries to swat at izuku who fires off his repulsor as each collides with nomu doing nothing as the nomu jumps and grabs izuku and pulls him towards itself and shigaraki .
"Good now crush him nomu" shigaraki orders as nomu squeezed its hand izuku voice modulated screams sounded throughout the u.s.j facility.
Shinso hatsume and Melissa were all in class bored as Power-loader was giving a lecture on how support items are what really made heroes as without them heroes wouldn't be as far as they were in their careers. Tony Stark did point out that All-might never had a support item like that until Power-loader countered with the video of David shield and All-Might using support items at which point tony yielded. Soon the lecture was over and everyone was studying in their notes
"Hello everyone I need to steal your teacher" nezu announces having walked into the classroom for Power-loader as the pair walk outSide and Melissa and shinso hear Power-loader scream what the F as shinso and Katsuki both looked at each other and they decided following was a good idea as power loader heads to his office with nezu and the others following but were stopped when power loader used afinger print scan that scanned his thumb as the door opened then shut as power loader and nezu enter and it shut locking with katsuki and shinso both groan
"Dang it well let's head back to class shinso " M sighs walking away as Shinso grabbed shoulder
"Hold it asshat I've got an idea" Shinso grabs his phone and some dust as Katsuki looks confused about the nickname since izuku was nerd boy and he was the ass hot. What did that make Melissa?
"Hey what are you doing?" Bakugo questions as Shinso blows dust over the table revealing a fingerprint as he scans with his phone.
"This" as shinso uses his programmable matter tech to replicate the hand of power-loader as it scanned the copied fingerprint until
"Access denied" the computer spoke.
"Okay well now the hacker approach" shinso pulls out a screw driver and his phone picking the scanner apart and pulling out the wires attaching them to his phone as he grabbed his notebook and managed to use his phone and dusted fingerprint
"Access granted welcome powerloader and or principal nezu and or izuku midoriya" the computer speaks as it opens the door
Both katuski and shinso did a double take'why was izuku/the nerd allowed here' both walked in looking around spotting a scrap metal suit of armor and found the teacher and principal watching some come kind of feed.
"Damn it nezu he's gonna flat line at this point his heart can't take this kinda stress and the armor isn't helping much" power-loader shouts with nezu showing something he rarely showed fear
"We need to inform the teacher but we need to monitor young midoriya lest this nomu kill"nezu fears as he watches izuku heart rate spike violently.
"What about the nerd/izuku dying?" The duo shout as Nezu and Power-loader notice them.
"Young midoriya flew off to help with the u.s.j unfortunately he's been caught by the villains and is being crushed by one" nezu shakily tells them.
"Okay wait send an emergency flair message or something to get them off wait what's that" shinso points at the screen as something hits the nomu
Izuku screaming rang Loudly through the u.s.j still as nomu was still squeezing him in his armor as izuku struggles.
"Well well well not so tough now oh well nomu drop him I wanna kill him" shigaraki laughs as nomu let's go as izuku instead of falling izuku stays airborne with his jet booster.
As izuku flies at the nomu and grabs its arms as he aims his boot jets at the nomu as he shouts "eat jet blast you Frankenstein's monster wannabe". Izuku blast the nomu scorching it's skin as flaked at the heat from the blast as izuku drops off the nomu
"And boot jets have gone offline sir" the ai informs izuku.
"Thanks j.a.r.v.i.s" izuku scoffs as shigaraki stares at the iron-armored izuku who tries to move but the servos in his legs weren't working.
"You bastard I can't believe it I wasted my time on an npc like you" shigaraki whines as he approaches izuku intent on killing him using decay as izuku tries to fire a repulsor but it short circuits as he tries and shigaraki looks at the a.r.c reactor in the chest of armor
"This looks important doesn't it well let's get rid of your little power up shall we" shigaraki reaches his hand and grabs the arc reactor as it starts to break as izuku tries to scream but can't as he feels his heart starts to stop.
"This is a message to the eraserhead and 13 the u.a staff have been informed of the situation and are on there way to assist you and the students i repeat the teacher shall be arriving shortly"
Shigaraki grunts as he flails his arm pulling away from the a.r.c reactor and shouts something that izuku can barely hear as nomu grabs and throws izuku in a random direction towards what seem to be the mountain zone as the heads up display on izuku armor shuts off and everything goes black .
Back in the lab nezu and power-loader were losing there absolute minds.
"God damn it we lost the feed you two keep watching see if it pops back up me and nezu are gonna gather the staff" power loader walks off with nezu and to get the other teachers.
"Do you think he'll be okay"katsuki asks shinso who tries to stay optimistic about this but it was hard with katsuki answering for
"He better be for all our sakes" shinso slides against the wall facing away from the console.
"Okay I'm sorry but I need to know why, do you care so much now from before you were such a" shinso was cut off by Katsuki and finished the sentence for him .
"A piece of shit" katsuki broods as he breathes heavily.
"Yeah" Shinso admits that's what he was gonna say.
Katsuki sighed he really didn't want to talk about but it was something he needed to talk about
"After almost killing that nerd being suspended from using my quirk and losing it and up until now and learning what it's like for you and him being picked and tortured because of a lack of quirk and now I Just wanna I don't know okay I just wanna make it up to him cause I tormented him but then I was hit with the realization of what it was like for him I just want to make things right and make it up to him" katsuki let off everything on his mind
"so how about you what makes him so important to you two". Katuski asks.
Shinso sighs as he finally answers "he was the only person I can remember actually to support my dreams"
"Okay look I just shelled out my whole goddamn emotional complex and you're not gonna talk seriously" Katsuki shouts at shinso not startling.
"I'm not telling you he's the only one allowed to know me" shinso spat coldly as katsuki backed off.
"It's fine katsuki i know you're trying your best to atone for your past, shinso I swear if this doesn't kill me im gonna make sure you become a hero " izuku tired and breathy voice comes through the comm systems as both katsuki and shinso lift in a mixture of relief and happiness that izuku wasn't dead.
"Holy shit you almost gave us a heart attack," Katsuki shouts.
"Yeah your vitals spiked and we thought we thought" shinso couldn't even bring herself say if he'd die.
"Umm about that i kinda need to find yaoyorozu fast the hand guy basically his quirk kinda compromised the a.r.c reactor it's for now because i used some of my repulsor to stabilize it it won't last long" izuku tells the blondes as melissa go to being a scared mess with shinso having that son of a b*ch kinda face.
Yeah I'm not dead just yet but the problem is I'm not really back to full aliveness since my A.R.C reactor was messed up by the hand guy right now I'm on borrowed time so finding help would be good right about now causes i've got people to get back to and my story isn't over quite just yet so let's get back to it
Izuku had woken up as his hud played the audio through the mask as izuku listened to the pair of blondes talk as izuku finally spoke up,"It's fine katsuki i know you're trying your best to atone for your past,shinso I swear if this doesn't kill me im gonna make sure you become a hero" izuku tired and breathy voice comes through the comm systems as both katsuki and shinso sigh in a mixture of relief and happiness that izuku wasn't dead.
"Holy shit you almost gave me a heart attack," katsuki shouts.
"Yeah your vitals spiked and we thought we thought" Shinso couldn't even bring himself say if he'd die.
"Umm about that i kinda need to find yaoyorozu fast the hand guy basically the hand kinda compromised the a.r.c reactor it's for now because i used some of my repulsor to stabilize it it won't last long" izuku tells the trio
Izuku pulled his helmet off and began fiddling with it and set it up for a scan.
"Okay I'm sending my helmet up and having it scan for yaoyorozu's quirk factor I'm gonna need you guys to guide me to it" izuku says sending his helmet into the air as it scans the u.s.j and locates everyone in it as the helmet finishes up and drops as izuku grabs and puts it back on and re-engages as izuku's hud pulls up a image of katsuki and shinso as the rest of his info pops up power levels suit specs vitals virtual map and his body scans
"Okay what do you got for me guys cause the reactors only gonna last so long" izuku says as his hud pulls up his heart rate and condition.
"Okay says here you're in the bottom of the mountain zone and says here ponytail is there too so you gonna need to head up but there are a few things blondie told me about" katsuki says as shinso sends a screen of function and things that izuku can and can't do.
"Okay so here's the thing with the chest piece damaged as it is and your armor being crushed in the mid torso region you can't fly also any of the advanced systems like the unibeam" izuku nervously chuckles in his armor as katsuki snarles gives him the we're gonna talk later face it was wierd how much katsuki had changed. "repulsors have about ten shots altogether so don't waste em and you've got your flares also if you try to fly your gonna hurt yourself".
Izuku would admit he found katuski being like this weird but it could be worse it Melissa could have found out about iron man.
Izuku started his walk it was limped since his leg servos were still fried beyond relief so he slowly made his way up of course he had to deal with the one thing he hated right now villains they were weak so left hook and a uppercut took em out,
Shinso, monitored his vital they were doing good but his heart was slowly but surely giving out in effort to move a little faster izuku started shedding his armor in small pieces with his primary armor plating falling off quickly soon his under exoskeleton fall off leaving izuku the palm of one repulsor his helmet and a black spandex suit he wore under his school uniform which he took off after shedding most of the armor. the pieces soon began the reassembly process an pulling it self back together. Izuku would examine the armor later right now he needed to go as limped still as the nomu had broken his leg which was fan-freaking-tastic.
Of course izuku had that deku luck cause he was looking down at yaoyorozu with jiro and tetsutetsu and Kaminari being surrounded by his guess 40 villains.
"Damn it I need yaoyorozu but she's surrounded and only have 10 repulsor shots" Izuku was pondering what to do when he heard kaminari and Kirishima scream as they charged the villains as they were electrocuted and all taken down. Lucky izuku wasn't down there he would have been fried literally.
Appears though no one is that lucky cause a villain popped out of the ground grabbing the pikachu threatening to kill him if they didn't back off and drop their
"Damn it I feel so useless" shouts as he looked his helmet and walked to the villain
"Hey put him down" the modulated voice of izuku (it sound like the modulated voice for iron-man in iron-man armored adventure)
"Oh yeah kid what are you gonna do" the villain laughs as izuku tries to blast as his repulsor fizzes out and the villain charges.
Memories of his past flow behind and around izuku as remembers the word of that day.
"I'm gonna be a great hero mommy no matter what I'll be the greatest and save people despite not having a quirk" little 4 year izuku shouted
"I'm going to save everyone" izuku matches his memory as he uses his armored left hand to pull off a part of the arc reactor as it shoot a beam of blue energy blast from his chest sending the villain flying and cutting into the mountain as izuku's heart to slowly fade as yaoyorozu and Jiro Run up to izuku who was holding on for dear life as his breathing becomes ragged.
"Holy shit hold on" Kirishima grunts pulls the helmet before chucking it some other way.
"Wait midoriya what are you doing here" yaoyorozu gasps in horror as she's hit with reality of izuku being support from the test a few days ago
"Okay I- exp- late- but I ne-ed argh" izuku screams in pain.
"Damn it hey wait a minute that's not a power source that's oh shit oh shit that his heart" Kirishima begins freaking out
"What do you mean rocky?" Jiro asks as Momo starts creating items to try and stabilize izuku whose body was flailing around.
"He mentioned it at lunch a couple of days ago that thing in his chest is designed to keep him alive without it he's gonna die" Kirishima explains as everyone start freaking out besides denki who was still in whey mode
"Okay okay don't lose it guys i got the materials to fix it" Momo says with look on her face to assure her classmate it would be okay as she fiddled with the A.R.C reactor applying the created tech onto it disassembling it and reassembling the device a few times to get it
"Cre- a bat-y and fix reactor" izuku tries to shout as Momo tries to fix the a.r.c reactor by applying heart monitor parts and repurposing different car and gun parts to work on the device
"Okay a battery should hold you for a few but I'll need to work fast" yaoyorozu creates a car battery and uses the pair of cables she made with it and hooked it up to the metal cavity in izuku's chest as his breath somewhat clams but it wouldn't last he new it wouldn't the reactor was designed to be a super charged pool of energy designed to sustain power constantly a car battery only had so much to give.
"Okay midoriya let's put this back in there" Momo says a little weirded and freaked out at technically holding izuku's heart in a way izuku understood why she felt that way it was indeed really weird.
"It's weird and freaky, trust me Melissa had that same reaction when she did this for the first time as well," Izuku says grunting as the reactor was put in its cavity.
Nothing happened no glow no nothing which of course left melissa Katsuki who were at the lab Momo jiro and tetsutetsu in the mountain zone with izuku were all just indescribably confused and were on the verge of breaking out into to tears as Momo hadn't been able to fix and save izuku.
"Damn it what's missing what's missing" katsuki shout from the helmet comm slamming his fist on the console in the lab.
"I reconstructed it, why won't it work" Momo says to herself distraught because of her inability to save her friend.
Izuku pulled out the reactor and sees a round rectangle shape and his eyes widen and iq of 270 slaps him upside the head as both he and shinso have something click in there and they forgot the most basic part of his reactor
"palladium" izuku and shinso shout as izuku calls over the mark 2 suit as it opens and izuku grabs a sheet of palladium from the inside of the suit and injects it into the back of reactor as it closes and he shoves the reactor into his chest as it start glowing once again.
Izuku pants as his heart restarts.
"I'm good I'm good" izuku reassures everyone as his armor opens up next to him as he stand wobbly still hurt from the nomu attack when he stood he made it to his armor as he climbs back inside as the armor shuts and the eyes arc reactor and repulsor start glowing again.
"Alright J.a.r.v.i.s what ups and running" izuku as the suit brings up his repulsors and arc reactor boot jets and of his other function
"Everything's online sir and flight is doable but don't push and another unibeam and you'll be more damaged then your own busted up heart" J.a.r.v.i.s replies snarkily.
"When'd you get so snarky" izuku asks confused when his computer system got an attitude.
"You let me on the internet sir it helped" the computer replied which answered the question to which izuku couldn't argue
"Okay you four head to the entrance I've got unfinished business" izuku tries to walk back towards the center of the complex beforeq his hand is grabbed by Momo.
"Midoriya you almost died trying to fight him before you can't" Momo cries are cut off by izuku who pulls his mask up pulling over his helmet as he look back look of terror and determination
"You know how much i want run scared i can't" izuku shouts as he continues to walk before blasting off with his boot jets towards the center of the U.S.J as yaoyorozu jiro and Kirishima watch as izuku throws himself back to the forefront of the battle while they sat there the quirklees kid in a suit of armor more willing to fight for justice and be a hero then four hero course students.
"I can't call myself a man or hero if I'm not helping, I'm going after these assholes" Kirishima shouts as he runs towards the center of U.S.J.
A/n Okay that's this chapter so I'm going to make these shorter for a few reason one to ease up on myself and to increase the number of chapter which I feel wouldn't be that long if the chapter were constantly long so form here on in I'm probably going to make them from 4,000 to 6,000 words maybe
Also it's been brought to my attention a plothole in the story one I'm still kinda finding my footing so yeah I'm new but hopefully adding the next chapter after this should help also please leave reviews pointing out any plot holes so I can attempt to fix them thank you
Also chapter 5 is gonna be flashbacks on izuku's motivation how he met shinso and where melissa came to like the green nerd and something to address a plot point. also David shield know about All might skinny form as shown in the two heroes movie
