Unlike my previous laboring experiences, it has been a less "bloody show" this time around. My
labor has been smooth sailing so far. Arizona places a fetal heartbeat monitor on my stomach.
This gives me hope even during my time of great travail. The birth draws near with each passing
painful contraction. Besides Derek and Arizona, Christina offers me support.
