Sooooooo I'm back….um yea hopefully with a better grasp of writing but doubtful. Anywho this story was inspired by DraconicMask's Predators and prey story so you should check that out….if you like this? Or if you don't I'm kinda bad at writing so yea anywho...this is more or less a feeler to see if anyone likes the idea it's gonna be an extrapolation of the summary but also a first chapter? I don't have a beta reader so if I make mistakes they are just that, mine. I treat higher grammar as more of a guideline than rules so oops but onto the story hope you like it…
In the Mustafu Apartment Complex lives a family, at least most of one, this is the midoriya family. Made up of just a mother, son and wayward father, the midoriyas live a pretty normal life and today is just a normal day or was until Mrs. Midoriya gets a call from her husband informing her that he discovered who his parents were and that he's got siblings, one of which is a hero. Now being the overprotective woman she is Mrs. Midoriya sets up a meeting with these siblings to vet them out before exposing the strangers to her precious son, or at least tried to. The older of the two, Mr. Midoriya's younger brother, unfortunately died in an accident with his wife. However, the youngest, a sister, was available to meet her newly discovered sister-in-law, and was a tad bit disappointed to hear her long lost brother was out of the country. This new found sister was the relatively new Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu, her real name Ryuko.
"Izuku honey, I'm going out, you'll be okay here by yourself for an hour or so right? If not I can ask the Bakugo's if you can stay with them while I'm out" Mrs. Midoriya called out to her son as she gets ready to leave
"I'll be fine mom, I've got some homework to do and it's not like I'm a little kid anymore" Izuku called back to his mom
"Alright honey I just wanted to be sure, no looking for hero fights while I'm gone and no more than 5 videos ok?" Mrs. Midoriya called
"You got it mom" Izuku assured her
"Love you sweety I'll be back soon" Mrs. Midoriya said as she left
"Bye mom, love you, see you when you get home!" Izuku called to his mother as she left
At the ryukyu hero agency
"Hey nejire I'm going out to lunch to meet my sister-in-law for the first time, stay out of trouble while I'm gone and if there's an emergency call me" ryuko tells her intern when they go in their lunch break
"Kk boss" nejire says cheerfully
"Now to go find this cafe she mentioned" ryuko mumbles to herself as she leaves
20 minutes later Midoriya residents
Izuku is working quietly like he has been since his mother left. He was about to take a break when a massive explosion shakes the building and people start screaming. Rushing to see what's going on he hears the fire alarm start to go off and smells fire. He soon sees the smoke and feels the heat deciding that up is the best bet he starts rushing up stairs, as he runs the fire surpasses him and he's soon surrounded and cut off from going up, going to the nearest window to try the fire escape he's stopped by the roof collapsing in front of him and blocking him in completely. As the flames grow closer the smoke thicker and the air hotter, Izuku starts to freak out and is overtaken by an almost primal urge to shout, he doesn't notice the pain from the heat ebb away or the comfort that the heat provides, he lets out what could only be called as a monstrous roar. The fire flares briefly before snuffing itself out completely. Nobody is present to see Izuku's eyes take on a reptilian appearance or glow a vibrant emerald in the fire light before he passes out.

"I could have swore the restaurant was around here *ring ring* nejire? What's the matter? A fire? Where at? I'm on my way!" Ryukyu affirms before hanging up activating her quirk and flying towards the apartment building.
Kal's cafe with Mrs. Midoriya
"Well I'm a little early so I guess I'll wait" Mrs. Midoriya says to herself before finding a table
"BREAKING NEWS an apartment building in South Mustafu has caught fire after an explosion in the lobby! Heros are arriving on the scene and doing their best to rescue the inhabitants. We will back with more news as new information arises" the radio on the outdoor seating area blares
"IZUKU MY BABY! MAMAS COMING!" Mrs. Midoriya cries as she sprints out of the cafe
En route to the fire
"Almost there I'll evacuate from the top down, wash get on that fire don't let it spread to the surrounding buildings, nejire-chan your to comfort the families so th-" *ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR*
" What WAS that?! The fires fla-out?" I'm gonna look for survivors!" Ryukyu yells into her comms
Ryukyu lands at the top, after getting the people who were hiding up their down, and deactivates her quirk to begin her sweep of the building. About three floors from the top she finds a hot spot but there is no fire, after moving some debris she finds a teenager covered in soot and ash with burnt clothes but he himself looks ok and surprisingly un-burnt. After freeing him she takes him out of the building to the paramedics on scene where a hysterical woman with green hair is asking about her son when she gasps seeing the boy in ryukuyu's arms
"IZUKU? MY BABY'S HURT!" the woman screams
"Mrs. Midoriya, please calm down. We can't help him if you don't let us work!" One of the paramedics tells the woman
"Midoriya? You wouldn't happen to be Inko Midoriya the wife of Hisashi Midoriya would you ma'am?" Ryukyu asks the crying woman as the paramedics inspect the boy
"*sniff* i-i am h-how did you k-know?" Mrs. Midoriya asks the pro
"My name is Ryuko Tatsuma ma'am. We were going to meet at kal's cafe today but there was an emergency. I'm sorry we couldn't meet under better circumstances." Ryuko explains to the crying mother
"You saved my son" Inko tells her
"I'm not sure I did. Ma'am what's your son's quirk? The area I found him in was still quite warm, much hotter than the rest of the building." Ryuko tells her
"You did and call me Inko, we're family after all. Izuku is quirkless, that's what the doctor said when he was 4. He has an extra joint in his toe" Inko informs her sister-in-law
"Ma'am, if I may interrupt the extra joint theory was debunked years ago and my quirk is picking up a serious case of quirk exhaustion and a small fever but other than that your son is fine. We will take him to the hospital to double check everything as well as run the proper quirk tests." The lead paramedic said
"I-I had no idea. May I ride with you so I can be there for my son?" Inko asks the paramedic, completely taken off guard, her son could have a quirk! He won't be in as much danger if he's a hero now!
"Of course ma'am" the man said
"Mrs. Mid-er Inko I'll be there as soon as I've finished here. I'd like to meet my nephew if you are ok with it?" Ryuko asks, a little nervous but hopeful to have family again after losing her parents, then her brother and his wife a few years later, she only has her niece and nephew who live with her.
"Of course you can sweety, finish up here. I'm sure he'd love to meet you" Inko tells the young woman
"Can I bring his cousins? They've lived with me since their parents passed away." Ryuko added
"Absolutely I'd love to meet them" Inko smiles
Mustafu general 3 hours later
Izuku is laying in the hospital bed, the doctors had already confirmed that he has a case of quirk exhaustion and a fever, but more importantly that he has a quirk, and now everyone is waiting for him to wake up
"Sorry it took so long Inko, I had quite a bit of paperwork and then when I got home Arashi and Yuki were napping." Ryuko explains as she walks into the room with a teenager about Izuku's age with shoulder length hair and horns on the back of his head. He had large wings folded behind his back and twin tails with blades on the end. Next to him was a little girl with pure white hair, porcelain skin, and crystal blue eyes. She had tiny powder blue wings and a matching tail.
"It's not a problem Ryuko, he hasn't woken up yet, but the doctor confirmed what the paramedics said" the mother says
"So this is Arashi and Yuki" ryuko says ruffling the hair of the older boy and little girl respectively " they are natsu's kids. Him and his wife sadly passed away after an accident a few years back. They've stayed with me since than" Ryuko tells Inko tearing up slightly
"Don't cry aunty we love you and muma and daddy are will always be with us right?" Yuki tries to cheer up her aunt
"Well aren't you just the smartest little one?" Inko asks the little girl
"Of course your right, our loved ones are always with us as long as we remember them"
"Yay! Are you our new aunty? Aunty ryko (A/N: ree-ko) said we were gonna meet our new family and since we came here did she mean you?" Yuki started to gush
"Hey snowflake, you gotta let her answer kid" Arashi told his sister
"Onii-chan!" Yuki squeals embarrassed
"Hehe, I am indeed. You're quite smart. I'm your aunty Inko and over there in the bed is your cousin Izuku." Inko answers the young girl with a smile
"Is he ok?" Yuki asks
"He's just fine dear, his quirk just woke up for the first time" Inko explains
"Hey nii-chan! He's like us!" Yuki tells her brother pulling on his arm
"Not quite, little one. But he is definitely a dragon, powerful too." Arashi calms his sister
"Like you?" Inko inquires the siblings
"Yep dragons, me and Yuki are dragons, at least our quirks make us think like them. I'm surprised aunty ryko didn't notice. But Izuku's quirk is definitely similar to ours. I'd guess a transformation quirk with fire manipulation." Arashi elaborated
"Well Sorry I was busy saving him at the time so I didn't notice his draconic presence" ryuko sassed her nephew
It was about this time Izuku woke up.
"Ugh I'm so sore" he mumbled
"Izuku!" His mom yelled
"Glad to see you awake kid" ryuko tells him
"YOUR THE DRAGOON HERO: RYUKYU! CAN I GET YOUR AUTOGRAPH!?" Izuku fanboys
" *giggle* cousin zuku your funny" yuki laughs
"...cousin?" Izuku pondered
"Yes honey, I went out to meet your dad's lost sister and well after the fire she decided to bring along her niece and nephew, your cousins. And what happened to your eyes? They are slit kinda like a cat's now. Did your quirk do that?" Inko mumbles the end
"My...quirk?" Izuku asks
"Yes sweety the doctors said that the extra joint theory was wrong and that you've had a dormant quirk this whole time!" His mom tells him
"I have a quirk?...I HAVE A QUIRK" Izuku cheers
"Well I'm glad you're feeling better young man!" The doctor says as he walks in
" So after one last check up you should be good to go as you've slept off your fever and seem to be energized just take it easy for a few days ok?"
"Yes sir" Izuku says
"Alright let's all go and get some dinner" Ryuko and Inko suggest together
"And ice cream?" Yuki pleads
"Of course sweetheart" Inko answers
And with Izuku recovered everyone goes out to celebrate not only his safety but the reunion of family.
