Time Period: A Flashback

Place: A Bus Station

Situation: Meredith is leaving for college (Dartmouth)

Meredith's p.o.v

"I am running out of time. Please let me hold my son" I request. "You are not running out of time"

Morris corrects me. I grab for my son anyway. I hold Brandon dear and close to my chest. "With

everything that we have been through, I regret our final goodbye. There is no more us after today.

I care enough to liberate you" Morris hammers into my conscience.

Scenario: Meredith Leaves for Dartmouth College

Meredith's p.o.v

"I am going to Dartmouth. I am one step closer to becoming a doctor!" excited, I exclaim. Morris

finds it hard to juggle my good news and our two year old son. He has put his dreams on hold for

us. Apart of him feels I am abandoning our family. "If you go to Dartmouth, I won't wait for you" he
