Next chapter is another filler since it will be the hot tub party, I'm doing it for a chance to build a relationship, if not more dialogue for the characters. Sorry for those reader who want to see the big sleep chapter, but if it's any help the hot tub filler won't be that long, I think?
Make sure you take a look at the story cover, I drew up Naruto and Gwen for it.
Thanks for those who are showing their support and without further ado here is the next chapter.
I don't know Naruto or Total Drama.
Chapter 4
"Ok today's challenge is three-fold people," Chris quickly got the campers attention on to him instead of their current predicament of staring off the edge of a cliff, "You campers are going to jump off this 1000-foot cliff into the lake," Chris explained to the campers that chose to listen as the others stared petrified.
"Piece of cake," Bridgette commented with a smile, completely unfazed by the jump.
"If you look down you will see two target areas. The wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with man-eating sharks," Chris let out a laugh as he watched some of the campers faces go pale, "Inside that area is a safe zone. That is your target area, which we're pretty sure is shark free."
"Shark free you say, sure." Leshawna sassed him.
"For each member of your team that jumps and actual survives, there will be a crate of supplies waiting below. Inside each crate are the supplies that you will need to go onto the next part of the challenge, building a hot tub! The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party tonight. The most campers to jump within their teams will get an advantage once they have all reach the bottom of the mountain This is a reward challenge, which means no one will be sent home tonight." a few campers let out a breath of relief that they didn't know they were holding.
"Screaming Gopher! Since you are down a teammate from the Simon Says challenge you have the choice to pick who jumps first!" Chris told the team as the campers started to huddle together and find out which team should jump first
"We should totally jump first! I want to do like six flips into a cannon ball all on Whiskers back!" Izzy yelled as she bounced in place making her breast follow with her movements up and down getting Cody and Trent to look somewhere else before Izzy latched herself onto Naruto front, "Can I? Can I? Can I?"
Naruto chuckled before patting her head and slowly removing her from his body, "I'm all for going first, but we should think about it. What do we gain or lose for going first or last?"
Courtney nodded, "Finally someone with a brain," she looked to the other team as if she was assessing them, "Alright, if we go first, we'll be down the mountain before them meaning we can get moving with the next challenge of pushing the crates."
"That saying if we all jump. I can name a few people who would most likely not jump down." Gwen added her input as she looks amongst her own team.
"Agreed, I know a good amount of the others on the Killer bass will jump" Trent told them before smiling over to Gwen since he back-upped her statement.
Gwen gave Trent an awkward smile back to him before Courtney spoke up again, "So what you're saying is we can go first and get a head start or go second and watch how many people jump on the Killer Bass compared to us and just make sure we beat them?"
"That may be true girl, but they have more campers than us. What if they all decide to jump?" Leshawna questioned.
"All good points, but we got to remember that this is a reward challenge, no one's is going home so getting down the mountain first or last doesn't matter as long as we all build the hot tub better than the other before the challenge is over."
"Naruto is right," Katie told her team, "I think it would be better if we go second."
"It doesn't matter if we get down there last, I'm a bit of a handyman, so putting that hot tub together would be no problem for me." Cody puffed his chest out with pride hoping to impress his teammates.
"Sure, you can sugar, but can you carry more than one of those crates when we get down there?" Leshawna retorted making Cody deflate a bit
"Well," Lindsay spoke up, "If we did all jump and beat the other team on jumpers, than with the advantage we might not have to carry the crates, what if we get like a sled or something?"
There was a large pause of silence between the team as they all looked at Lindsay wide eye, "Thats actually a possibility," Courtney told her.
"Good job Lindsay," Naruto praised her.
Lindsay looked away from Naruto with a blush as she twirled a piece of her hair, "Thanks Nate."
"It's Naruto..." came a sad mumbled
"Burning daylight over here Gophers, what is your choice?" Chris reminded them.
Courtney coughed in her hand, "The Killer bass will be going first."
"They will?" Heather finally spoke as she looked up from her nail that she had been filing down during the team huddle, "I didn't decide on that."
"Well if you were paying attention you would have has a chose to vote," Cody told her.
"Shut it loser," Heather glared at him, "I'm the team captain so I say who goes first," Heather looked to her team to find that all of them were glaring at her for her bossy attitude, "The Killer Bass go first, obviously, since the best go last."
"So, you should be going first, right?" Leshawna pointed out.
"Get bent." Heather said missing Leshawna death glare that promised payback.
"Killer bass you're up." Chris told the team.
"So, who's first?" Bridgette asked only to receive silence.
"Don't worry guys, I heard that these shows always make the interns do the stuff first to make sure it's survivable." Owen tried lifting their spirits
"Oh, it's survivable, just ask Chef." Chris told them with a laugh.
Flashback-
"We need to test the stunt first, you know that." Chris told Chef who had a rubber duckie floaty on around his waist as he looked down the cliff.
"Do I look like an intern to you?"
"No, but the ones we did have are all in the hospital. Come on, just jump it oyu big chicken," Chris told him before imitating the sounds of a chicken to Chef.
"I don't get paid enough for this man." Chef grumbled out before jumping down the cliff and landing outside the inner circle known as the safe zone, "Hey, I made it, wait—Chris something just brushed down my foot! Something isn't right down here!" Chef yelled back up to him before he was pulled underwater and the faint sound of screaming was heard.
"Seem safe enough..." Chris mumbled before looking back down at Chef after hearing the screams, "You okay?"
The Scream went quiet before a Shark burst from below water with Chef holding it in a full nelson, "You trying to eat me?!" Chef yelled while tightening his grip, "I'm making shark stew out of you! Let me show you what happens when you mess with a retired Marine!"
"Oh yeah, he's fine."
Flashback End-
"Everyone don't raise your hands all at once now," Eva told her team as they looked around for the first victim to jump off the ledge.
"Don't look to me," Duncan said aloud knowing Eva was going to suggest his name since he had the tough guy personality, "I'm not suicidal to go first, have someone else try and if they live, then I'll go."
"Quit being like that Duncan, go first, I'll go first for my team!" Naruto yelled do him as he waited for his team to go.
"You do stuff like this for a living you junkie!" Duncan shot back making Naruto pout.
"Come on you big baby, let's just check over the edge." Eva told him and grabbed his hand as she fought off her blush from rising to her cheeks.
Duncan followed dumbly as he was dragged to the edge where Bridgette has been standing. Quickly getting down on one knee as Eva let him go, he looked over the edge to see the inner circle and some shark fins moving throughout the outer one, "Yeah right," Duncan scoffed as he moved to get up and away from the ledge, "You can go first surfer chick, I'm not—"
Duncan was unable to finish he's sentence as he stood up only to find Naruto standing right behind him with a sweet smile on his face making Duncan almost recoil and fall off the edge if Naruto didn't catch him by his shoulder, "Thanks man, I almost fell over, I owe you one."
Naruto didn't say anything as he held Duncan in place from falling over, seconds passed by and his smile hasn't left his face making Duncan have a sweat start forming, "You going to help me up big guy?"
Naruto shook his head and lowly started to let go of Duncan shoulder causing Duncan to grab onto Naruto arm so he didn't fall, "If I'm going down, you're coming with me!" Duncan cheered and pulled Naruto with him.
For the campers watching it was like one of the old cartoons when a character fall over a ledge. Naruto stood there floating, looking around to see that he wasn't on the ground but just air. Taking a quick look behind him to see the other camper were holding in their chuckles while Chris was fully laughing, "Duncan! You idiot! This wasn't part of the plan!" Naruto yelled as he fell down and followed Duncan into the water, both of them surfacing after hitting the inner circle.
"That's what you get sunshine!" Duncan laughed at Naruto while the boat moved in to pick them up.
"Why I oughta!" Naruto mumble before jumping on top of Duncan as if he was trying to drown him all while they both laughed.
The campers up on top of the cliff had their good laugh, enjoying how the mood changed from possible dying from jumping off the cliff to something more lively, "I'll go next," Bridgette told her team, some nodded noting that she was conveniently already by the edge of the cliff, "It's no big deal, just a cliff dive into an angry pit of sharks."
"You can do it!" Geoff yelled out.
Bridgette blushed lightly and nodded before swan diving off the end and landing perfectly into the center of the inner ring. Surfacing she gave a wave back to her team as Naruto and Duncan hands help pulled her out of the water and onto the boat.
"Nice form Bridgette!" Naruto cheered for her getting a blush again from the girl, "I would have something awesome too, but that got ruined." at the mention of Naruto complaint Duncan blew a raspberry at Naruto with a smirk.
Bridgett gave a small giggle at the interaction, noting that it would have been great to see them on the same team, "Trust me, I think your form was great," she told him getting a small pout out of him since he landing with no form at all due to someone else, "at least it wasn't as bad as—"
"Cowabunga!"
Bridgette stopped talking due to a large crash only to see it was Tyler that missed the inner circle and landed directly onto one of the marking buoys, "Wasn't as bad as that..."
Every camper gave a flinch as Tyler slid off the buoy and into the water making it count as him landing in the inner circle, "Duncan you want to help your teammate?" Naruto asked getting a sign from him, "By the way Bridgette I like your swimsuit, if I didn't know your surfed, I might know now."
Bridgette blushed with a smile and gently grabbed her arm before avoiding eye contact, "It's just a regular wet suit all the surfer wear."
Naruto nodded, "Yeah, but it looks great on you." having his eyes move up and down Bridgette form.
"You too." was all Bridgette could say while taking quick glances at Naruto's form and short, which happened to be black with a tiny fox in the corner.
One by one all the campers on the Killer bass team started to jump starting the Geoff, Eva and Beth each of them landing in the middle circle and scoring a point for their team until the flow of campers stopped with DJ stuck at the top unable to jump, "Unh-Unh. Now way, man. I'm not jumping."
"Scared of heights?" Chris asked
"Yeah, since I was a kid"
Showing false concern Chris moved up to DJ and put a hand on his shoulder making DJ smile, "That's ok big guy, unfortunately that also makes you a chicken," Chris slaps a rubber chicken hat on his head, "so you'll have to wear this for the rest of the day."
"For real man?" DJ asked with a sad face only to receive clucking noises from Chris and a direction of which way he was told to go to get down the mountain, which happened to be a convenient escalator showing how the teams got up the mountain in the first place.
"Knew he wouldn't jump," Eva mumbled to herself as she was pulled up and onto the boat, "Thanks."
"Don't mention it," Duncan told her and set back as Eva draining the water from her hair, "DJ didn't jump?"
Eva looked to him and crossed her arms unintentionally making her breast pop a bit causing Duncan to quickly glance before looking away, "No, he was acting all scared as we started to jump."
"Figures, big guy, but a gentle personality."
"Going to get him kicked off if he starts backing out of ever challenge," Eva commented before looking Duncan direction and seeing that he was taking side-glances at her making Eva notice that her bust was more pronounced and her blue onesie swimsuit was clinging onto her like a second skin, "If you take another glance, I-I swear, I'll knock your blockhead ass down!" Eva threatened him quietly with a large blush on her face and turned away from Duncan making her butt face him which made Duncan fully turn his body in the other direction so he didn't look.
"S-Sorry," Duncan mumbled, "I-I like your swimsuit."
"S-Shut it," Eva yelled with her back turned and a small smile on her face.
"Hey Bridgette! That was an awesome jump, you're like a mermaid or something with those moves in the water," Geoff told her, "The pretty ones not the ones that suck off all the skin on your face."
"Awe, thanks, I think." Bridgette told him as her eyes darted between Naruto retreating form and Geoff smiling at her making her sigh.
"AHHHHH!"
A scream broke the campers at the bottom of the cliff attention and looked to the water to find Harold landing on the water while doing the splits. Every male cringed and grabbed their own junk as a sort of way to ease the pain they were feeling even if it wasn't them that it happened too.
"Hate to see if happen, but love to have it on camera. At least he landed in the inner circle and scoring a point." Chris told the campers on the top of the cliff.
Justin was the next to jump, but missed the inner circle and landed in the shark infested waters of the outer ring. Every started screaming ta him to get out of the water as the sharks approached him from behind, but with one quick smile the sharks' stopped their assault. Justin chose the ride the sharks to shore instead of taking the boat.
"Did that really just happen?" Chris asked himself feeling as if he was bamboozled somehow.
"I can't do it!" Yelled out Sadie, it was just her and Owen left for their team, "Not without Katie!"
"Hey, it's going to be ok." Owen told her and grabbed her shoulder, "Remember what we talked about?" Owen asked.
Sadie nodded and let out a few sniffles, "But it's so hard!"
"I know, but you can do this! You're a Killer Bass now, you're on the team that's going to win Total Drama! You can do this." Owen encouraged her.
Sadie nodded and moved towards the edge, "Can we do it together?"
Owen nodded and grabbed her hand, missing the forming blush on her cheeks.
"I'm going to throw up," Heather quickly said in the background.
Both Owen and Sadie looked to each other and took a step closer to the ledge before going into a running start. As they moved closer and closer Sadie started to come more scared and slipped out of Owen's hand jump before he jumped over the ledge, "I can't! Sorry Owen!"
"That's okaaaayyyyy!" Owen yelled as he fell down and into the water. Making a massive tower of water splash backup as he cannonballed into the inner circle and scoring a point.
"Sadie! Come receive your chicken hat and make your way down the loser path." Chris told her as the hat was put on her head and she ran over to Katie for a quick hug.
"I'm sorry!" Sadie cried out as Katie comforted her making both girls start crying into each other arms.
"Alright time to tally up the results. That's nine jumpers, two chickens and one miss making the Killer Bass only have eight points on the board. Screaming Gophers if you can beat that we'll throw in a pull chart to put your crates on." Chris told them making the Gophers look to Lindsay.
"What?" Lindsay asked, but quickly received a high five from Courtney for her lucky, but smart guess about winning some-sort of advantage if they beat the other team on jumpers.
"I'm sorry, not really though, but there is no way I'm actually doing this." Heather told the rest of her team with a huff as she put her hands on her hips showing of her two-piece brown swimsuit.
"And why's that sugar queen?" Leshawna asked, crossing her arms in her one-piece gray swimsuit that squeezed her assets.
"Hello, it's National TV, my hair is going to get wet."
"You're kidding right?" Gwen asked not believing that someone would throw the challenge for something like that.
"Oh my god!" Lindsay butted in, "She's right, I don't want to get my hair wet either."
"Oh, you're doing it!" Leshawna fired back at Heather getting close to her since Heather turned away with a smile on her face knowing Lindsay is backing her up even if the girl didn't know herself.
"Says who!" Heather fired back getting in Leshawna face.
"I'm not losing this challenge because you got your hair wet, you spoiled little daddy's girl."
Slowly, but surely all the campers on the Screaming Gophers backed away from the two girls in a tirade about each other hoping not to get hit in the crossfire.
"Back off, ghetto-glamour-to-tight-pants-wearing, rap-star-wannabe."
"Mall-shopping-ponytail-wearing-teen-girl-reading-peeking in high school prom queen!"
"Burn!" came a yell from Chris.
Heather smirked know exactly what to say to Leshawna next to flip her lid, "Well at least I'm popular."
A sudden gasp came from the female campers and the two male campers chose to hide behind the females unwilling to even try and stop the fight that was coming.
"You're jumping!"
"Make me!"
There were a few seconds of silence before Heather found herself lifted into the air, above Leshawna's head, and thrown over the cliff by her.
"Leshawna, you are so dead!" Heather yelled when she surfaced from the water, "Now one of you losers get me out of this water!"
"Hey I threw you into the safe zone, didn't I?" Leshawna yelled back, "Now I just hope I can hit it too." she mumbled before jumping off the cliff and landing into the safe zone scoring two points, technically, for her team.
"Nicely done Leshawna," Naruto told her as he pulled her onto the boat with him and Heather and offered her a towel, "even from down her I could tell you threw Heather over, wish I would have seen it better."
Leshawna smirked and wrapped the towel around her, "Trust me, there will be more times to come with that white girl."
Naruto chuckled before looking over to Heather to see her death glaring at Leshawna for what she did making him sweat drop at Heather, would have been easier if she just jumped, "Anyone looked as if they weren't going to jump?"
Leshawna thought about it before sighing, "Katie and Lindsay. Katie wont jump without Sadie and Lindsay was saying something about her hair as well."
"What's with girls and their hair?" Naruto asked thinking about the few encounters he has had before, "It'll dry anyways right?"
Leshawna shook her head, "It's not that simple, but you'll learn one of these days handsome."
"I thought this was a talent competition?" Lindsay asked Chris as they walked to the ledge of the cliff.
"Nope! Now jump!"
"But my hair—" Lindsay tried to complain, but ended up tripping and falling off the cliff when she was not watching her step. Luckily, she landed in the middle circle and scored a point for her team.
"Still counts!" Chris yelled.
"Awe, my hair..." Lindsay mumbled as Leshawna and Naruto helped on the boat.
"Who cares, we still go the point." Leshawna told her.
"I think your hair still looks nice Lindsay." Naruto told her hoping to cheer Lindsay up.
"Thanks Noddle!" she yelled and hugged Naruto pressing her large chest against his pecs causing Naruto to blush lightly, but return the hug even though she got his name wrong again. Of course, neither of them heard Leshawna bashing her head against the railing of the boat for getting Naruto name wrong.
Cody and Trent jumped next, both landing inside the inner circle and were quickly helped onto the boat.
"Chris," Chris turned around to see Katie holding hands with Sadie and approaching him, "I'm not going to jump, is that ok?"
Chris shrugged his shoulders and grabbed the closest chicken hat before throwing it on her head. Both girls cheered, even though they shouldn't and made it down the escalator to join their teams, "Let's see that makes six jumpers and one chicken," Chris looked to the final three girls that haven't jumped yet, "all three of you need to jump in order to win the advantage."
"Alright! Let's do this!" Izzy yelled and took a running jump over the cliff, doing as she told her team and that was six front flips before hitting the water, "That was awesome!"
"Totally," Izzy turned to see Naruto hold his hand out to help her onto the boat.
"Whiskers!" Izzy yelled and grabbed his hand and pulled him back into the water before he could do anything.
Naruto chuckled and got the water out of his eyes as he watched Izzy climb on the boat and purposely stick her butt out more than it should before turning her head over and smirking at him while she grabbed her towel and covering up her two-piece green swimsuit.
"That girl..."
"Look out below!"
Moving to the side of the inner ring Naruto say that it was Gwen who screamed down as she landing in the water, "Glad you can make it Gwen."
After getting the water out of her eyes and moving her hair from her face Gwen saw that it was Naruto talking to her, "What are you doing in the water? Didn't you jump first?"
Naruto hummed to the thought, thinking of anything that he could say, "Obviously he wants to go swimming with his goth queen, but let's save the skinny dipping for later you too." Leshawna told them with a wink causing a massive blush to form on Gwen face and Naruto to start stuttering random excuses so Gwen didn't think that was the real reason he was back in the water.
"Come on, I'll help you onto the boat," Naruto told Gwen as he jumped out of the water and held his hand out, "Don't pull me in like Izzy did please."
Gwen reach for his hand, ignoring the jolt of electricity when their hands touched. She debated on actually pulling him back in, but went against it as she was lifted, like a feather would be, onto the beat; unprepared for how fast it happened, Gwen tripped on the side of the boat. Landing into Naruto arms with her hands resting on his pecs; Naruto starred down at her as she looked up to him. As if they were getting lost into each other eyes their face slowly inched closer and closer until—
"Hey Gwen, glad you made it down!" Trent yelled out breaking the two away from another and becoming the center target to three narrowing eyes, two of them were almost unnoticeable, but a Leshawna glare was easy to notice. She had been waiting for this moment and it just got ruined.
'I got to get these two somewhere quiet and away from everyone else,' Leshawna thought, already thinking of the places she can just lock them in with another and have the sparks fly.
"M-Me too Trent, k-kind of scary not going to lie." Gwen told him as she tried to fight her blush down after her close call with Naruto, 'I'm happy, but mad at the same time. I wonder what it would have felt like?' Gwen thought of herself before shaking her head.
"Yeah, but I knew you can do it," Trent told her and looked over to Naruto with a small glare of his own.
"Thanks," she told Trent as he nodded and looked up to the cliff to see Courtney was the only one left on their team and if she jumped, they would win the advantage.
"I knew you could do it too," Naruto mumbled to Gwen and covered her up with a towel to dry off, "and I think your swimsuit looks really good on you, now I'm looking forward to winning that hot tub." he told her with a small blush and a smile.
Gwen looked down to her toes and wiggled them as if they were the most interesting thing in the world before mumbling a quiet, "Thank you," with a smile, who knew just wearing her plain black two-piece swimsuit with shorts would actually get her to smile instead of just wanting to hide her body.
"Come on Courtney! You can do it!" Naruto yelled up to her.
"Psst, come here girl," Leshawna whispered to Gwen and pulled her off to the side already knowing that Gwen would never hear the end of this.
"Chris, I have a medical condition that prohibits me from jumping of cliffs," Courtney told him.
"Does it prohibit you from losing the advantage?" Chris fired back making Courtney sigh in defeat.
"Fine..." Courtney looked off the edge of the cliff to see all of her team cheering her one, beside Heather, "Here goes nothing," she mumbled and plugged her nose before jumping over the edge and making it into the center circle.
"The winner, the Screaming Gophers!" Chris yelled getting cheers from the winning team.
"Nice one Courtney, never doubted you," Naruto told her and helped her up on the boat as he made its way to the shore line.
"I almost doubted myself," Courtney told Naruto as she covered up with a towel.
"No way, a smart and pretty girl like you should never have to doubt yourself, you can do anything you set your mind too. Believe it."
Courtney blushed at Naruto pep talk and nodded her head as if she was unable to trust her own voice for the time being.
"You look great by the way."
Yeah, Courtney defiantly didn't trust her voice now.
A ten-minute break was established for the campers so they could change back into their normal clothing to finish off the rest of the challenge. During the minutes period the Gophers had gotten their crates for the hot tub onto the wagons and were moving slowly along the shoreline signing '49 bottles of pop on the wall.' The Killer Bass weren't having as great as a time, who knew having to push and drag crate through sand would be such a hard task. Luckily for most of them on the team they had most of the guys and Eva to do the heavy lifting, so while they didn't move as fast as the Gophers, they weren't so far behind.
"I got to take a leak." Tyler told his team and dropped his crate that he was carrying next to Eva.
"Hurry up, we are already behind."
Beth who was helping Sadie push her crate looked over to see the girl squirming in her place, "Do you have to pee too?"
Sadie nodded her head frantically, "I do, but I'm scared to go without Katie here."
Beth sighed, "I'll go with you, don't worry."
Sadie smirked and took off into the wood leaving Beth chasing after her, "Holy crap, does anyone else have to use the bathroom?" Eva asked and dropped her crate when Duncan finally caught up to her. Eva got a few nods from her fellow teammates as they scattered into the wood line, "Five minutes, no longer!" she yelled out to them.
"Really got our work cut out for us, don't we?" Duncan asked Eva with a smirk.
"Don't make me hurt you," Eva mumbled to Duncan, who still held his smirk through the threat.
"Don't want to be weird or anything since I'm using the bathroom," Sadie started talking to Beth who was a few feet away from her keeping lookout, "you and Cody, what's going on there?"
Beth discreetly hid her blush from Sadie, which wasn't hard to do, "Nothing, me and him are just friends."
Sadie hummed to the thought, "But you guys look at each other longer than a friend would."
"W-We'll he's a sweet guy and I think he got a bad draw with the Simon Says challenge, especially with Heather there," Beth spat out, "he tried to make it a good practice date for the challenge and Heather would just talk to him as if he was dirt. I think if someone really gave him the time for a date it wouldn't be all that bad, he was super nice, but very nervous,"
"OMG! That's great Beth" Sadie squealed in excitement, "I think you and Cody would be a cute couple!"
Beth jumped when Sadie grabbed her from behind and hugged her, "I-I said someone to date him! Not me!" Beth yelled back to Sadie.
"Quit denying it." Sadie laughed at Beth and let her go.
"Yeah! What about you and Owen! I heard what he did for you!" Beth shot back as if she was trying to get the attention off of her.
Sadie blink and looked down to the earth with a blush, "He was very sweet to say that, but we are just teammates and it's just looking out for another. Just like when we were on the top of the cliff and he was willing to hold my hand and jump with me." Sadie told Beth, unknowingly telling Beth something that just proved her point.
"Sure, you don't like Owen like I don't like Cody?"
"So, you do like Cody!" Sadie told her.
"Don't change the subject!"
"Finally," Eva sighed out as she watched the rest of her team come back from the bathroom, "Let us get a move on. The Gophers are already there, I can hear them cheering."
Screaming Gophers-
"Remember, you guys can only use your teeth to open the crates," Chris told the Gophers while watching them struggle.
"Ow, ow, rope burn on my tongue!" Izzy whined out, but was successful in opening the first crate which had some pipes and a heater.
"You okay Izzy?" Naruto asked while looking at her point at her tongue, which actually had a rope burn mark on it, "Ouch, careful."
"Kiss it." Izzy demanded sending a wink to Gwen who was secretly watching the two with Leshawna.
"She is one bold crazy white girl," Leshawna told Gwen causing the goth girl to growl quietly, "Oh you got it bad for him."
Gwen huffed and looked away, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Super bad..."
"That not what I meant whiskers," Izzy huffed making Gwen and Leshawna look back to see Naruto tapping Izzy's tongue with his hand.
"What? I kissed my hand and then tapped your tongue with it, same thing, right?" Naruto smirked to her and walked away leaving a pouting Izzy. Waving to Gwen, making her smile for two reasons, as he passed by to go help any of his teammates.
"Katie, would you like some help?"
"No, I got it," Katie told him with a wave as he approached, "but can I ask you something?"
"Shoot." Naruto told her and watched Chris pass by on his ATV, most likely to check up on the other team.
"Do you thing that Sadie and I are acting childish? You know, with us being on different teams."
Naruto didn't hesitate to answer, "Not at all and don't let other people tell you so, no matter what."
"Really?"
"Yes, the bond you have with Sadie is not something easily made and most defiantly isn't something that can be destroyed with just you guys being apart. You two have something that some people don't, with or without each other, a connection that makes you closer to another even when you're not of blood, trust me I know," Naruto mumbled the last part to himself, "if you do believe in that bond then no matter how far apart you become you will always be with another."
Katie smiling at Naruto and started tearing up before hugging him with all her might while Naruto rubbed her back in hopes to placate the girl.
"Thanks," a quick sniffle, "I needed to hear that. Now let's build us a hot tub." Katie yelled getting cheers from her teammates as the finally lid came off from the crates showing more pool supplies and tools.
"Sometime, I don't think even he knows what he's doing sometimes," Leshawna mumbled to herself.
Killer Bass-
"You guys are behind, like way behind," Chris yelled at the team while driving up to them and narrowly missing a rock thrown over his head from Eva.
"It's not my fault that everyone is just taking bathroom breaks at the worst possible times!"
"Okay, my bad?" Chris muttered a confused apology.
Duncan put his hand on Eva shoulder to calm her down, "What's she's trying to say is how much further do we got?"
"Just around that bend," Chris pointed out to the turn only 200 feet in front of them.
"Just hurry up, the Gopher got their crates open and are going to start putting their hot tub together." Chris told the team then drove off.
Duncan coughed in his hand before facing his team, "Alright people, I'm not trying to lose this challenge as much as the next guy because I don't want to give those Gophers the satisfaction. So, I need everyone in high gear; Beth and Sadie," Duncan called the girls names out forcing them to look back at him, "stop gossiping and start pushing, Tyler and DJ keep it up, Owen help Harold, he can't move theses crates even if his life depended on it. Justin, quit looking in the mirror and get up here behind a crate, Geoff and Bridgette, I'm all for you guys exploring your secret crush about each other, but we have a challenge to win," Duncan pointed out making the two teens blush and look away from another while still pushing the crate, "so let's go people!"
Having everyone jump into high gear after Duncan commands pushed the team to make it pass the bend in only a minute, leaving Eva and Duncan now in the dust, "Let's go Eva," Duncan told her making Eva shake her head and slap her face a few time to try and lose her blush after watching Duncan take command.
"C-Coming!"
Screaming Gophers-
"I just wanted to say I didn't mean back there about you being ghetto, rap-star wannabe, and I love your earrings. There are so pretty." Heather told Leshawna.
"Straight up?" Leshawna asked, "Well, I'm sorry about throwing you over the cliff and all."
"No worries, truce?" Heather asked offering Leshawna a fist pound which she accepted before leaving.
"Did you mean all that stuff you said to Lefonda back there?" Lindsay asked Heather as they walked away.
"Leshawna," Heather corrected, "and heavens no, she's going down. Plus, those are the ugliest earring I've ever seen."
"So, if you hate her why are you being nice to her?"
Heather scoffed, "Have you ever seen one of these shows before? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
A look a realization came to Lindsay face, one that Heather didn't even believe knowing Lindsay still didn't understand, "So that means I can't hold Nikolas anymore?" Lindsay asked, but Heather was already too far away to hear her.
"Heather really said that?" Gwen asked making sure she heard Leshawna right.
"Yeah, that white girl came right up to me and apologized, wasn't expecting it at all."
"Do you believe her?" Naruto asked, who was working together with Gwen when Leshawna showed up.
"Hell no!" Leshawna said getting a sigh from the two, "I wouldn't trust even if my Mama told me to and she's a judge."
"Wait," Gwen stopped Leshawna before she could go on a rant, "your mother is a judge?"
"Oh yeah, she taught me everything. I take no smart ass attitude from no one, especially miss stuck up. I hope she steps on a Lego!"
"Learn something every day," Naruto mumbled as he and Gwen ended up listening to Leshawna colorful use of words about Heather.
"Finally, gosh," Herald spoke while dropping the crate in front of the cabin.
"No slacking, get those crates open!" Duncan voice was heard by the whole camp making his team look over to see the carte that Eva was carrying above her head was now being thrown at them.
"AHHHH!"
"Nice..." Duncan told Eva, "Look that's one open, let's keep up the pace!"
Ten minutes later-
Each team was on the opposite side of the spectrum. The Screaming Gophers were working in perfect harmony with each other to create the perfect hot tub. While the Killer Bass were rushing and seemed looked like their hot tub was being held together by duct tape and random nails.
"This is an awesome hot tub!" Chris told the Screaming Gophers then looked over the Killer Bass just to see it fall apart since the duct tape couldn't hold anymore, "Well, I think we have a winner the Screaming Gophers! Not only do you get this sick hot tub for the rest of the summer, you also get the chance to throw a killer hot tub party tonight." Chris told the teams making the Killer Bass groan out of displeasure, "I know it sucks, but look at it like this, no one is going home since this was a reward challenge."
"We still won!" Lindsay yelled while jumping up and down making her large breast follow her movements causing every guy to stare.
