Chapter nine: Return of the pervy sage.
Naruto is training by himself when he sees Jiraiya peeping on a woman relaxing in a hot spring.
"Pervy sage! Your back!" Naruto shouted in excitement.
"Keep your voice down." Jiraiya said in a soft voice.
"Old man, show yourself." The woman said.
Jiraiya comes out of hiding behind a bush.
"Good, I will give you a shot of sake, and you and the kid who gave you that hilarious nickname will beat it." The woman said.
"Uh, Ok." Jiraiya said nervously.
Jiraiya walks over and drinks the shot.
"How come you didn't run off like any other woman who knows I was peeping?" Jiraiya asked
"It's because I can't run." The woman answered.
"What are you talking about?" Jiraiya asked.
"One, I'm in too much pain. Two, my body's health is so bad to the point I will collapse if I dare to run. Three, I don't see the point. You enjoy peeping at women and I assume you do it often." The woman answered.
"Why are you in so much pain?" Jiraiya asked.
"I don't know the cause, but I do have a theory, Me and my family are the last family with a special power, Aura, It's a form of spiritual energy only belonging to Aura families, it has many capabilities for example an immunity to any genjutsu unless it is allowed by the individual, being able to read the minds and actions of another being and sensing other people's auras even while blindfolded." Now my theory is my Aura is weakening my body through overwhelming it, the Aura is too overwhelming for the human body, causing the body to fight to stay alive and well, but the power of Aura is too much for even the strongest of man and the body eventually get too weak to stay alive and that is the end of that individual's life." The woman explained.
"Is there any way of removing it?" Jiraiya asked.
"Yes, but it will kill you, long ago a scientist named Poe removed Aura from three men and three woman, they all died almost immediately, Poe was tried for murder, he was drowned in the harbor at Wehr port near Rota, ironically that's where his life began and that's where it ended." The woman explained.
"So, everybody dies from Aura eventually." Jiraiya said.
"No, but at least one child from every generation does, the current child is still up for debate, but I am sure one of these two will die from Aura, Chance Aura-Sun and his cousin Armie Aura-Sun." The woman responded.
"That's the name of the guy who beat the hell out of Me and Kiba, removed the nine tailed fox from me, knocked me unconscious, and has a powerful demon named Lucifer inside of him that can take control of him." Naruto said.
"You actually encountered Chance? Where is he?" The woman asked.
"I don't know, but do you know why he did those things?" Naruto asked.
"Chance didn't do it, it was Lucifer, a demon who can take control at will, Chance would never hurt you, and if he did it was most likely because you insulted him more specifically his intelligence which he takes great pride in or his family." The woman answered.
"How do you know him so well?" Jiraiya asked.
"It's because I'm his mother. "The woman answered.
"WHAT! Wait, do you have any idea why he, I mean Lucifer, would do those things." Naruto asked.
"I do, It goes back a long time ago, Lucifer was an aura guardian along with Aaron and they were a team known as the Aura demons, He only became friends with him to get more attention, He was an ambitious individual with no morals whatsoever, he decided to destroy Rota his birthplace and steal all of its valuable weapons to get stronger during a battle in a war his ultimate goal was to be the king of this world, But Aaron discovered multiple things that stopped Lucifer's plan and brought his demise, Aaron discovered Lucifer's plan, then on his way to telling the queen and wife Rin Suki he hears then talking and eavesdrops, he finds out that she was cheating on him with Lucifer during their relationship and that Chara his daughter wasn't his and instead was Lucifer's daughter, this enraged Aaron who waited for them to stop talking with each other, once Lucifer left the castle, Aaron did the unthinkable and slowly murdered Rin who while being queen she had no combat skills and was helpless, then when Lucifer sees a terrified Chara who was just a little girl, Aaron manipulates her into becoming a megalomaniacal genocidal freak of nature and to get strong enough to kill him one day, He then knocked her out. He went to a powerful sorcerer Yurei and asked her to put a cursed seal on his neck to give him more power to defeat Lucifer and for her to seal Lucifer away forever, Yurei accepted after Aaron paid her a lot of money, Aaron received the curse mark and afterwards showed his true darker nature which was always suppressed by his good heart, he became unhinged and he defended Rota and he was the only reason Rota is still here and that I am even alive, Yurei sealed Lucifer away but Aaron died shortly after from the wounds he sustained during his fight, during the fight Aaron had several chances to kill him but refused to take it in order to make lucifer suffer. After thousands of years Lucifer was freed from his spirit tomb. It is not known who did, he found a wounded chance who had just killed a robber and was on the verge of death, Lucifer offered to save his life in exchange for Chance being his host, Chance of course accepted. Chara became a heartless killer killing millions she eventually died from illness, but her soul is said to still be on this plain, that I cannot confirm. And that's it." The woman answered.
"Wow, what a complicated backstory. And now that I think about it, it makes sense how this woman is Chance's mother, both have this tired look in their eyes." Naruto thought.
"It was nice meeting you Miss." Jiraiya said.
"My name's Melina and it was nice meeting you too. Lycka till med livet um i mean Good luck with life." Melina responded.
Jiraya and Naruto leave.
"Naruto, next time don't shout while I'm doing my research. You could have gotten us in big trouble." Jiraiya said.
"I'm sorry, so what were you doing for the three months you were gone?" Naruto asked.
"I was gathering information on the Akatsuki but then the war began, and I had to return to Konoha to protect it just in case anything happened." Jiraiya answered.
Suddenly explosions go off. Several shinobi investigate and they have come to a conclusion this was an attack by the 4th Reich, 24 civilians injured, 15 killed.
They hear battle cries in the distance but it's not the 4th reich. It's an army of citizens from the land of waves.
Most of them are charging head on into Konoha while some shoot arrows from a distance.
Some manage to get into the village. Naruto and Jiraiya are wondering what's going on, but they see a gruesome sight. Shannon stands over 14 corpses, with blood everywhere while wielding a Kubikiribocho. Shannon effortlessly defeats both Tazuna and Inari in sword combat. And is about to kill them.
"Stop!" Naruto screamed, tackling Shannon.
"Get off me kid or we both are going to be killed." Shannon said.
"Naruto." Tazuna said with shock.
Suddenly they are both stabbed through the heart. Tazuna is stabbed by two blades each coated in lightning chakra. And Inari was stabbed by a thin blade.
"No!" Naruto screamed, his eyes tearing up.
The body's fall and behind them are Raiga Kuroski and Kushimaru Kuriarare.
"Hahahahahhahahhaha!" Kushimaru laughs maniacally.
"That kid, he was the one who got me killed." Raiga said.
"Before you do anything hasty, remember what I brung you back for, to serve the allies and revive the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist who have fallen in the past. Killing the kid wouldn't exactly benefit us since it would be counterproductive to our cause." Shannon responded.
"Yeah, but it would be fun." Kushimaru remarked.
"Those two are supposed to be dead. How are those two here right now?" Jiraiya asked.
"A special jutsu I learned that allows me to revive the dead." Shannon answered.
"Now we must be on our way to defend our glorious village, relax, enjoy yourselves and not have a care in the world because we can handle these invaders." Shannon said.
Shannon, Raiga, and Kushimaru leave to continue the defense of Konoha.
An hour Later
"Attention everybody, the invaders have all been killed. No casualties on our end." Aoba reported to the citizens of Konoha who all in one shelter were.
They celebrate the successful defense of Konoha.
In the Hokage's office
"Lady Tsunade." Shizune said.
"What is it?" Tsunade asked.
"It's The small countries, their leader has been assassinated. Under their new leader they wish to join us." Shizune answered.
"Tell them we will think about it, and in the meantime, they must supply us with resources." Tsunade said.
"Yes ma'am." Shizune responded.
At Naruto.
Naruto
Is upset by the brutal loss of life during the invasion.
"I'm sorry this happened to them, I'm sure they were nice people but Naruto, this is war, brutality is prominent in war. I hate it too and if I had the power to end all hatred and bring peace to the world I would." Jiraiya said.
"I disagree.
They turn around to see the female knight.
"For an older man I would have expected more wisdom from you, you can't end war and the brutality of man, for evil is in every man, one man will always experience negative emotions that bring him into the darkness, one man will kill another, one king will try to gain all the power to satisfy his lust which can never be satisfied. That is the cruel reality that all men and women must acknowledge." The knight said.
"No, you're wrong." Naruto responded.
"What are you talking about?" The knight asked.
"Love is the key to peace, if everybody loved each other, we wouldn't have a need for war, we would hate each other and that would prevent conflict from ever happening." Naruto answered.
"That is true, but you don't understand, man will always hate each other for many reasons, man will always want more, and they will pay for their greed, evil is inside all of us and cannot be removed." The knight said.
Naruto gets mad and uses his shadow clone jutsu to create ten clones.
"I don't sense any fox chakra, did the seal actually break?" The knight thought.
The knight draws her sword.
"Stop Naruto, fighting her won't solve anything." Jiraiya said.
"Fine." Naruto said.
Naruto dispels his clones.
"Wait, i remember her now, I met her in a forest, she put a seal that allowed me to access all of the nine tails chakra." Naruto said.
"YOU DID WHAT!" Jiraiya shouted.
"Shortly afterwards the seal broke, and I fell unconscious." Naruto said.
Jiraiya gives the knight a pissed off expression.
"That wasn't supposed to happen, the seal wasn't supposed to break." The knight said.
"Great, now the fox is loose, do you have any idea where it might be?" Jiraiya asked.
"No clue whatsoever." The knight answered.
"We need to find the nine tails or else the Akatsuki or someone else will get their hands on it." Jiraiya said.
"Mind if I help you?" The knight asked.
"I'm sorry but we can't trust you." Jiraiya said.
Jiraiya and Naruto head to the hokage's Office.
