Chapter 24: The next morning
Kim slowly shifted, burying her head into her pillow, the sun was shining through the curtains, telling her that it was going to be another warm and sunny day, the perfect type of day to spend at an amusement park, but all she really wanted to do was curl up and go back to sleep.
Big calloused hands caressed her back, "Come on Beautiful," her husband's deep voice called out, "We need to get up, before Rocky eats all of breakfast."
Kim slowly sat up, groggily, "What?" she asked.
"Breakfast," Tommy insisted, "Come on, get dressed, before somebody starts a food fight."
Kim sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, "But we didn't invite Bulk and Skull, we invited… Who did we invite? I know that Hayley, Cassidy, and Devan are the ones we invited from Dino Thunder, but who did we invite from Angel Grove?"
"I have no idea," Tommy confessed, "Jason and TJ were in charge of that."
"Well so long as it isn't Bulk and Skull, I'll be fine, I don't need Skull stalking me."

The hotel breakfast room was a good size room, with lots of tables, and ton of food, someone must have warned the staff that there were a few rangers with high metabolisms, for there were piles of food out. Much more than at the hotels that Kim had stayed at while competing.
"Oh good they got the memo about Rocky's hollow legs," Tommy muttered, scanning the room, before his face paled, "Why are there two Connors, I can barely handle one?"
"That must be Eric, his twin brother, he's a secret ally of Ninja Storm," Kim said.
"Let's just hope that Conner keeps his mouth shut," Tommy grumbled.
…
"So this is so amazing," Eric exclaimed, "Who would have thought that we would have been picked to come hang out with the power rangers at their theme park before the grand opening. I got a special invite from the Ninja Storm team, you?"
"Dino Thunder," Conner said, leaning back a little in his chair, "Let's just say that I was pretty close to them."
"So do you know who they are?" Eric asked, leaning forward.
"Conner," a sharp voice called out as Tommy slid into the seat next to them, "I wouldn't say anything that would get you in trouble."
"I wasn't planning to Dr. O," Conner insisted, "But isn't this great, Eric got an invite from Ninja Storm."
"Yeah, this whole thing is exciting," Kim agreed sitting next to her husband.
"Do you guys have to sit here?" Conner asked, grumpily.
"As a matter of fact we do, everywhere else was filled."
Conner and Eric glanced around the room, sure enough the room was crowded with rangers and their families.
"So where is this Theme Park, anyway, how are we going to get there?" Eric asked.
"I believe there's going to be a bus that will take us there," Tommy said.
Suddenly there was a bout of static as a voice came over the intercom, "The Bus to Power Ranger World will be arriving in five minutes," a voice announced.
"A bus?" Eric asked, snorting, "That's a bit lame isn't it, this is a Power Ranger Theme Park, shouldn't we be transported in Zords or something?"
"Actually, I had a pretty scary experience on a bus when I was an active Power Ranger," a soft female voice announced, as Dana Mitchell stole a chair from a different table to join them. "I was doing some research on volcanoes, just for the fun of it."
"I understand that," Tommy chuckled.
"And the others had the rescue rover, they had gone to get something to eat, so I decided to take the bus," Dana explained. "It was terrifying, the volcano actually started erupting and there was a man with a gun," she shuddered, "He threatened me with it when my communicator went off."
"Are you going to be okay on the bus?" Kim asked, "Random fears are kind of my specialty."
"Mrs. O's a shrink," Conner explained.
"I know," Dana announced, "She works close with me, helping with the power rangers," she turned to Kim, "Don't worry, Dad, Ryan, and I are taking the Rescue Rover."
"You brought the Rescue Rover all the way to Angel Grove from Mariner Bay?" Conner asked, "Can I have a ride in it?"
"Yeah," Eric agreed, "Can we, please?"
"Well, Carter and Chad are here with their families," Dana explained, "And Joel would rather ride the bus with all the girls," she rolled her eyes at that, "And Kelsey isn't here yet, she couldn't get yesterday off, so she's heading up today, so… yeah, I guess you can come with us."
"Dana, you don't know what you are getting yourself into," Tommy insisted.
"Trust me, if I can handle Joel, I can handle these two," Dana insisted, "Besides Dad is going to be there, and no one dares misbehave in front of him."
"But I want to ride on the bus!" a sharp young voice called out as a little blob of pink melted on the ground in a screaming fit.
A tall blue clad man peered down at the girl, "We don't have to go you know, we could just stay here."
"No," another voice called out as a blue clad boy clung to the man's leg, "Please, I want to go!"
"We will go, but we are taking the car, it's just easier than trying to struggle with the diaper bag and stroller."
"We don't need the stroller," the little girl insisted, "We're three now, we're really big."
"Yeah, and we don't need a diaper bag, we don't use diapers anymore."
Billy glanced up, feeling the eyes of everyone on him as Katy resumed her temper tantrum.
"I know you are potty trained, Cory," he informed his son, "But I think you would still enjoy having juice boxes and graham crackers don't you?"
"You have graham crackers in the bag?" Katy asked, picking herself up off the floor, "Okay."
Billy locked eyes with Tommy, "You are so lucky that you and Kim don't have kids," he announced.
Kim, who had just got herself a cup of coffee, started to cough hard enough that Conner started banging her on the back.

Tommy wished that they had taken the car, most of their teammates had, deciding that trying to deal with a stroller on the public transportation would be difficult. So they ended up in a crowded bus, crammed in there like sardines. "Tomorrow we take the car," he announced as he was thrown into Kim for the tenth time in the trip.
Finally the bus pulled up next to a large parking garage, before opening the door.
Everyone swarmed forward as if there was a fire in the back of the bus, pushing and shoving to be the first ones off, except Tommy and Kim who waited patiently for them to all disembark.
"You'd think us rangers didn't have enough sense to save us from a dunking," Tommy commented, grinning at Kim as they finally exited the bus.
Next to the parking garage stood a security area, where everyone was lining up. It was a basic enough security procedure, bag gets sent through an x ray machine, and everyone steps through a metal detector.
"This is a nice change from Airport security, they had to go through every last item in my purse," Kim pointed out, "Do you know how hard it is to explain why you have a belt buckle in your purse?"
Tommy snorted, shaking his head, "I don't think they are too concern about us having weapons here, I mean, everyone here got a special invite."
"Still I wouldn't put it past a few of the rangers to try to pull something off."
The line shuffled forward, until finally they were through security. On the other side of the parking garage was a large sign that said, "Power Ranger World", as well as several photo opportunities with cardboard cut outs with all of the teams so far, and room to add more as more teams emerged.
Kim immediately run forward sticking her head through the head of a Mighty Morphin' Pink Power Ranger, so that her face was that of the Original ranger.
Tommy chuckled, pulling out the camera, "You are going to act like a little kid aren't you?"
"You know it," Kim confessed, as Tommy snapped the picture.
"You aren't going to get me into one of those," he insisted.
"Oh, but look," Kim insisted, "They have the Original Green Ranger, and Dino thunder."
"They also have a life size portrait of Lord Zedd, do you want to take a picture there?"
Kim playfully shoved Tommy, "Only if you do it with me," she confessed.
After a ways they arrived at the main gates, which had several lines, which quickly allowed them into the main park.

Tommy had known that TJ and his teammates had been helping out with the creation of the theme park but that was more obvious when they walked past the gift shops. "Look there's an Ernie Cafe," he exclaimed, "And a Power Ranger Emporium. And an Internet Cafe, like the one Hayley owns in Reefside."
"Well, TJ did help," Kim pointed out, "Come on, let's look at the rides," she insisted, grabbing a map from a stand and opening it, "Wow, so many of them," she murmured, "There's a train ride, and an escape from the moon ride, that might be fun, and..." she trailed off, glancing up at Tommy with concern, "History of the Mighty Morphin' power rangers?"
Tommy shrugged, "Hey, that was my idea, TJ knew better than to make them look like us, he borrowed some concepts from Disney for it. It's suppose to be pretty accurate without revealing our identities."
"What about The Green Ranger?" Kim asked.
"Trust me, no one would be asking what happened to him after riding the ride, that was one of our main reasons to build it."
"Don't tell me," Kim said, glancing sideways at a lamp post, "You gave him a horrible death."
"Tortured to death in front of his lovely girlfriend," Tommy confessed, cheekily, before shaking his head, "Nah, he went on to boss TJ around," he paused for a moment, "Why are you looking at the lamppost like that?"
"Trying to figure out why Trent is spying on us?" Kim confessed, "Come on Trent I know you're there."
The lamppost stretched and shimmered before the white dino thunder ranger appeared, "Hi, mind if I join you?"
"Why are you hiding from your father?" Tommy asked, "Don't tell me Mesagog is back."
"What! No!" Trent insisted, "I just feel like I need to give him some personal space, but he thinks this should be a family vacation."
