Chapter 11: Free the supply lines
Near the front gate of Konoha a large group of shinobi are gathered
"I have gathered all of you here for an offensive operation. Shimo, Yuga and Tanigakure have become occupied by the Axis. you must free them. If we don't free these countries soon, we won't be able to receive any supplies. you will split up into 3 divisions. Each division must free one country each, once you free your country you go to another one to provide reinforcement for the division fighting there. The ones who will be leading the divisions are Shikaku Nara, Shannon Moore, and Kakashi Hatake." Tsunade said.
The shinobi split into three divisions. Naruto and his team along with Mew and Karin are in Kakashi's division. Each division has 8,000 soldiers. Kakashi's division is mobilized to Yugakure. Yuga is occupied by a large Oto force led by Sasuke Uchiha. Kakashi's division is looking at the village from a distance.
"Naruto, you will have to kill Sasuke if everybody else is unable to." Kakashi said.
"No, I won't kill a friend. I can save him from his own darkness." Naruto responded.
"He has chosen this path on his own free will. No matter what you say or do he is only focused on one thing. revenge." Kakashi argued.
"Shut it. We must focus on the task at hand. I don't care what Sasuke has done. Now Kakashi, do you have a strategy?" Karl asked.
"Yes, I do. It's simple but effective. We all have 20 explosive tags on us, cover the village and surrounding battlefield with Explosives and smoke bombs. Once the smoke dies down and their guard is lowered, we attack. 2,000 of you from the north, south, east, and west." Kakashi answered.
They all nod in agreement.
They launch 16 hundred explosive tags at the oto force killing many. The oto nin are on guard, ready to defend Yuga. They launch their smoke bombs then bombard the oto nin with kunai and shuriken bringing them to a small group of 121 shinobi. Sasuke orders them to retreat into the village. Kakashi's division hears the roar of battle cries and suddenly cannons appear in the distance.
Kakashi's division wonders what's going on.
Flags raise, Cannons fire demolishing some of the village's defensive walls allowing them to get inside of Yuga and thousands of men charge into the village riding on horseback.
"Let's enter Yuga through the whole the other army opened up through the walls." Kakashi said.
The others agree and enter yuga through the walls to see an unexpected nin clashing with the other ninja. The oto nin have more shinobi than Kakashi's division. Kakashi's division quickly engages in combat with the oto nin. Naruto defends himself with a kunai with an oto nin trying to kill him with his sword. Naruto gets away and uses shadow clone jutsu to assist his comrades who are surprisingly struggling against them.
The battle rages on for days as the Oto nin stand strong. Mew is critically stabbed by an oto nins sword. A man wearing a hat designed like a cardinal gets her safety.
"Don't worry Kitten. you're not going to die." The man assured Mew.
He opens the beak of the cardinal hat and pulls out a needle. The man injects a light blue substance into her. The man bandaged the wound then took off his hat. It's Chance.
"Chance, what are you doing here? I thought you stayed back because your condition worsened?" Mew asked.
"Yes, it did worsen. But I got worried as usual and wanted to protect you, so I sent a part of my army to this place to protect you and help you win this battle." Chance answered.
"Aww, you're such a sweet man, Chance." Mew complimented.
"Thank you, how's the wound? Is it burning?" Chance asked.
"Yeah." Mew answered.
"Good, that means it's working. In a few minutes you will be fine to fight again." Chance responded.
"Only a few minutes. How?" Mew asked.
"My mother gave me a needle with her Aura which contains her kekkei genkai which grants her the ability to heal herself and others in an astounding amount of time." Chance answered.
"That's incredible. But didn't you say you haven't seen her for the past three years?" Mew asked.
"Yeah, she gave it to me before I left home for the last time, she gave it to me to store in my bird's beak in case of emergencies." Chance answered.
"I see." Mew responded.
Back on the battlefield.
Karin is healing those who need it. The blood stains the whole area. But Konoha and Rota are winning this battle despite taking heavy casualties. Sasuke and Naruto are battling but without Kurama's chakra he is defeated by Sasuke and is about to be killed but Karl interferes. Karl and Sasuke trade taijutsu attacks. Both are exhausted. The entire village is now a wasteland. Corpses make it difficult to fight. The battle has become a stalemate with all shinobi collapsed from no chakra. The shinobi are now all unable to fight. Kakashi's division retreats a short distance away to rest and recover.
"Today's battle was tough, we lost 5,200 men, Rota, lost 9,000 men. and it was revealed that the otogakure nin we first encountered were citizens. They viewed us as enemies threatening their country, so they and their shinobi wore oto uniforms. They did so to hide a secret allegiance to the axis. Once we defeat the rest of the oto shinobi, Yuga will become allied occupied territory." A jonin said.
"What about the others?"" Kakashi asked.
"They drove the axis out of their respective villages. Makes sense when they have the goddamn swordsman of the mist under their new leader Shannon who has created his own sword, it's a guitar with swords. No joke it has swords all over it. He can use it as both a chakra guitar and a sword. And Tani was easy for shikaku with his incredible strategy's." The jonin said.
"And we have brought this battle to a standstill with heavy casualties. If you were to ask me, I'd say that's very pathetic." Rota's commander responded.
"Are you criticizing my leadership?" Kakashi asked.
"Yes, shinobi are hardheaded and incompetent, had our generous king not have feelings for one of your kunoichi and a desire to help the axis fight fascism. You would have been defeated in 5 minutes at best." The commander answered.
"How are we incompetent when we are stronger than you? How are we incompetent when we took down your empire and dominated the world for centuries." Kakashi asked.
"You failed to easily defeat another group of shinobi. Making you incompetent." The commander answered.
"I could kill you right now. Would that make me incompetent?" Kakashi asked.
"Ha! Killing me would most certainly sway the opinion of my king and only guarantee the downfall of shinobi." The commander answered.
"What do you mean by downfall of the shinobi?" Kakashi asked.
"If shinobi dare attempt to harm Rota in any way that isn't allowed by the king. We will use our weapon of mass destruction along with operation last resort, a secret only known by us." The commander answered.
"What is it?" Kakashi asked.
"I'm not telling you disgusting shinobi." The commander answered.
"If loose lips did sink ships, you could sink an entire navy." The jonin remarked.
"Shut up." The commander responded.
"Also, what do you mean your king has feelings for one of my kunoichi?" Kakashi asked.
"Some girl named Mew. he said and I quote. "What can I say, she's beautiful, funny and is my type of woman. Plus, she hasn't insulted my intelligence or appearance unlike almost everybody else. Whether she is a friend or romantic partner, I will always protect her even if it costs me my life. Not because of the doctrine but out of love and respect." The commander answered.
"Alright you may leave now." Kakashi said.
The commander leaves.
"That moron isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I have a good feeling he is going to hold us back." The jonin said.
"Maybe, he did help us today." Kakashi responded.
"Fair enough, I'm going to bed. I got to have strength for tomorrow." The jonin said.
"Alright but before you do send a message to the other divisions to assist us." Kakashi responded.
"Alright I will." The jonin said.
A few days later.
Kakashi and the rest of the division are joined by Shikakus and Shannon's division. And they clash with Sasuke's forces, who are only slightly bigger in number and are outnumbered by Konoha's divisions. They easily defeat them and Sasuke retreats. The divisions create a casualty report. The total amount of losses for each side were
