Chapter six: Meeting Yamato and getting a sweet weapon,
OCTOPUS-In Ame-OCTOPUS
A man stood on a building overlooking the village, he was Nagato or as the villagers called him Lord Pain, to the outside world he was the Amekage, Three years ago his friend had vanished, though he knew exactly where she'd gone and why, he was not in a position to do anything about it, and he was curranty shaking, why?, due to her most recent letter,
it was a cypher they'd invented with their old teacher Jiraya only the three could decode it, the message was supposed to look like a report on her time in the leaf, how she found the lack of constant rain weird, and that she was temporarily inducted into the leaf ninja corps to help a friend she'd made, boring stuff, though Nagato could tell she'd put a little of her true feelings in it such as how she'd made friends and that she liked being there, to make it more believable to anyone who inspected the letter,
The real message was incredibly more bone chilling, he looked at it once more, "Itachi knows who I am," the message was short and to the point, and it left him considering his options,
He shut his eyes and cursed himself for his failure three years ago,
OCTOPUS-Flashback, Three years ago-OCTOPUS
Pain and Konan watched Ame's citizens from above,
"I assume you have chosen someone?," Pain asked,
Konan shook her head exasperatedly, "You know who I've chosen," she stated,
"It's too dangerous," he droned, "I won't risk you like that,"
"No Ame ninja besides myself is capable of sneaking past Konohana's security, let alone Itachi Uchiha," she retorted, "Especially not a Genin like you asked,"
"Then we will send someone capable,"
"That list starts and ends with me Nagato," Konan argued, "I have scoured our ranks, inspected everyone carefully and no one but me qualifies, they're either too inexperienced with espionage, incapable of treating the last Jinjuriki as a person, hold a grudge against the Hidden Leaf which Itachi would surely notice, or unable to deal with the Sharingan," she noted, "The only one in the entire village who passes the qualifications is me,"
"Then you will train someone else," Pain ordered,
"Nagato-,"
"I have spoken Konan,"
"Very well," and then she turned into paper and blew away,
A few days later Konan had told him she'd found someone capable a Genin named Klara Valon, who after a quick inspection he found that she actually was a member of their corps, but unbeknownst to him she had been dead for a week,
He learned the truth upon her first message back to Ame, since she used the cypher nobody but he, Konan, And Jiraya knew,
OCTOPUS-Present day-OCTOPUS
"Konan," He stated trying to think what he should do, quickly he composed himself as the door to the roof he was on opened,
"Lord pain," An Ame ninja bowed, "A doctor is here to speak with you, he says it is of the utmost urgency,"
"How urgent?," Pain asked,
"He said it had to do with Subject 0," Pain hid his surprise since Subject 0 was the code name for his real body, most Ame citizens believed it was someone Pain kept in the tower for their own safety which he supposed in a way was true, so he wondered what this doctor wanted,
Pain nodded, "Let him in,"
The doctor walked past the ninja and bowed, "Lord Pain, as you requested the blood sample you gave us has been ran by our entire village to see if any relative of theirs lived here, at first our search was came up empty," the Doctor shuffled papers and handed Pain a stack,
Pain raised an eyebrow, "How does this relate to subject 0?," he asked, quickly looked over it and confirmed what the doctor had said, he nodded when he was done,
"But then by sheer accident we tested it against Subject 0's sample," The Doctor quaked slightly, when Pain showed no signs that he'd attack the Doctor he continued, "It's a match," he handed the last paper to Pain, "They're cousins, and not third or fourth, first cousins, the blood sample belongs to the son of the brother or sister of Subject 0's Father or Mother," The Doctor stated,
Pain's eyes widened, "What?,"
The Doctor froze, "I-I'm sor-,"
"You're certain they are related?," Pain asked,
The Doctor nodded, "We ran the test multiple times sir,"
"You both are excused," Pain stated,
Ninja and doctor bowed and quickly exited the rooftop,
'Cousins?,' Pain thought, he rubbed his head, he had no idea how to feel about this, Subject 0 was the code name for his real body, most Ame citizens believed it was someone Pain kept in the tower for their own safety which he supposed in a way was true, and the blood sample belonged to Naruto Uzumaki,
"We're related," Pain stated, "I and the last Jinjuriki," He nodded, "I know what I must do," and Pain began preparing a trip to Konohana,
OCTOPUS-With ''Yamato Senju''-OCTOPUS
The ex-Anbu now currently Jonin found his faceplate with the leaf insignia on the top, he ran his fingers over over it "Jonin leader huh?," he asked, as was expected he already knew his charges, Klara Valon, Ame genin, had her team slaughtered just outside the walls of the leaf village, made a seal for another teammate and was needed to maintain the seal, Second member was Ino Yamanaka, heiress to the Yamanaka clan, she reportedly had some special mental Jutsu but he wasn't able to confirm or deny that, and from what he did know she seemed to be the de facto leader of the group,
And finally Naruto Uzumaki, unofficially Naruto Namikaze-Uzumaki-Uchiha, since the clan had pretty much raised him until Itachi Uchiha became Hokage and the boy ''vanished'', but that was what the official story was, in truth Naruto was still being watched, by the Anbu, and by one Anko Mitarashi, though that was more so since he'd essentially moved in and lived on the territory she claimed as her own, and later actually gained the deed to,
Yamato knew much more about him then the other two, Strength beyond Tsunade, Speed beyond A, healed so fast entire limbs took mere minutes to grow back, and the intelligence of a stump,
Yamato sighed as he put on his Jonin jacket, and left for the academy,
He found his three quickly, they were at the back, Naruto had given his seat to Klara while he sat on the wall, His headband was loosely tied around his neck, he was also shirtless and still wearing the armour he'd made out of a log, his new staff was a spring onion, Ino was next to his seat, her headband was modified into a belt, Klara had both headbands on, Ame's was around her neck, and Konoha's was on her head,
As soon as the academy's teacher had finished speaking Yamato cleared his throat, "Would Ino, Naruto, And Klara come over here please?,"
The three stood up and walked over to him, "Good," he pushed Ino into Naruto,
"Hey!," Ino cried as she bounced off Naruto who quickly held her,
Yamato grabbed Klara's arm and Naruto's head, "We're off," he said, as he took the three away with a flicker, he let them go after they fell,
"Sorry for the rough landing," Yamato said walking away from the sorta Genin, "Now then we're supposed to do a meet and great but I'm a little different then most Jonin," he said, "You see, the three of you aren't leaf Genin yet," he stated,
"Before that happens I need to test the three of you, and then I decide whether you all become Genin or not," he stated, "There are many different was to test you," Yamato said as the three stood up, "Here's mine," mud tendrils shot past the three taking two leaf and one Ame headbands,
"These are the symbols of your villages, their importance in our world of ninja can not be overstated," he said holding them between his fingers, then he threw them over his shoulder into a lake, "You three are not ninja," Yamato stated, "And unless you can retrieve all three headbands you never will be," Yamato turned and stepped on to the lakes surface, "Now there are a few rules for this test, If you retrieve all three headbands from the lake at the same time you fail," he stated, " If Ino or I go into the lake you fail,"
Yamato smiled, "That's it for now,"
"G-go!," Ino shouted Naruto and Klara nodded,
Naruto leaped into the air, "Remember what Kokuo-chan said," Naruto shut his eyes and focused his chakra into his furnace, 'Boil the water with you chakra,' he thought aiming his fist toward Yamato who held a Kunai out,
"Now let's see," hearing the pitter patter of feet running straight for him, made Yamato turn to see Klara as she threw two Kunai at him, "Really Klara?," he asked, dodging both, "Kunai against a Jonin?,"
She smirked, "Just a distraction,"
"Here's hoping he understands restraint," Yamato said,
A stray puff of steam added to gravity as it pushed Naruto toward Yamato, it wasn't much but Naruto was falling faster,
'Now guys just as we planned,' Ino thought, as she did a Seal on her neck glowed yellow, while similar seals above Naruto's third eye and on Klara's forehead glowed green,
Klara nodded, and jumped into the air, 'Ninja substitution,' she thought switching places with Naruto who quickly grabbed Yamato's arm,
"Got ya," He grinned the second his feet touched the water it exploded launching him and Yamato upwards,
Yamato took note of how much water launched up and the bracers on Naruto's arms, 'Even five percent is so much?,' he thought, 'Teaching him basic chakra control would be pointless, and the complex methods will go right over his head,' he thought, as Klara sailed by them,
"Woah," Yamato gasped, Naruto had launched them so high he could see the entire village, "What a view," he smiled, suddenly the whole village flipped upside down, "What?,"
He looked up, Naruto had his arms around Yamato's waist his legs on either side of his arms and his head pointed straight down, "You wouldn't," He stated, looking down, They were aiming at rock solid ground,
"You're a Jonin," Naruto said as they started falling, "We both know you'll avoid dying,"
"This is is crazy!,"
"Actually it's a tombstone piledriver," Naruto stated as he and Yamato approached the ground rapidly,
As Klara dived under the water she narrowed her eyes 'Of course,' she thought, staring back at what must've been hundreds of thousands of what she assumed were once headbands of aspiring Leaf Shinobi and Kunoichi, all sunk at the bottom of the lake, most were rusted, but due to the lack of light she couldn't tell which ones were theirs, 'I hope Naruto and Ino can keep that guy busy for a while,'
Ino watched as Naruto and Yamato barrelled toward the ground then the Jonin broke Naruto's hold on him and planted both of his feet in the white haired boy's face kicking off of him him and landing on a nearby tree, Yamato clasped his hands in the snake sign and said, "Wood style: Leafy Emergence," A tree sprouted underneath Naruto and grew stopping him from falling,
"Naruto," Yamato said, "That was far too risky, what if I had left you to fall?," he asked, "How many bones would you have had left?," before the last jinjuriki could answer him Yamato leaped off the tree and kicked Naruto closer to the lake, "Now wood style," Yamato said his hands back in the snake hand sign,
"Hiya!," Ino cried trying to surprise the Jonin who dodged back and without breaking his hand sign, kicked her kunai away, jumped over her and used his legs to wrap around her arms and with a flip he threw her at the lake,
"Got you Ino," Naruto grinned, as he jumped up and caught her in mid air,
"Forest barrage!," Several trees sprouted out of the ground rushing toward Naruto and Ino,
"What are we going to do?," Ino asked,
Naruto put Ino behind him, "I know what to do!," he said, he ran forward and pulled the closest tree out of the ground, Naruto held the tree over his head and jumped back, when he landed he smashed the tree toward the ground digging a slight incline, "Follow me Ino," He said pushing the tree against the underside of the grass making a makeshift shield, Ino pressed her back against his as Naruto used his strength, makeshift weapon, and shield, to hold off the attack,
When Ino felt the attack stop she pulled several kunai out of her weapon pouch, she ran around the makeshift shield, and threw her kunai at Yamato who retaliated by grabbing one and using it to deflect the others, "Kunai?," he asked "Again?, really Miss Yamanaka?,"
Ino smirked "Naruto plan 21," she called,
"Okay!," Naruto called back and then Ino flopped over,
Yamato was on immediate guard when that happened, he couldn't feel her trying to force control over his body though,
Then a fist from underneath the ground hit his cheek "Surprise," Naruto grinned his eyes however were Ino's, a sign that she'd used her mind transfer jutsu on Naruto, Ino wrapped her arms around the shocked Jonin, she smirked as he watched Ino's eyes turn back into Naruto's pale orbs,
"Plan 21 is a success," Ino said back in her own body as she got back to her feet, she walked over to Yamato who struggled against Naruto's hold, then she took his kunai holder "Aha!," she said holding it up, "Now she can-," The holder exploded stunning Ino, who was then kicked into the water by Yamato, who broke Naruto's hold and hit him as hard as he could with a wooden mallet on his hand knocking the long haired genin down, and then four wood tendrils wrapped around his arms and legs and held him there as he struggled to break them,
"My strongth," he groaned, "I can't use my strongth," he said as he slowly stopped thrashing about and started trying to set Yamato on fire by glaring at him, and Yamato shrugged,
Klara poked her head out of the water, "I've-," she saw the restrained Naruto, the shrugging Yamato, and heard as Ino hit the water behind her,
"Oh hey Klara," Yamato smiled, "How's the search going?,"
Klara frowned and pushed against the water pulling herself out, "We failed didn't we?,"
"Depends," Yamato said, "What did you find?,"
Klara shivered and held up one leaf head band and one leaf belt,
"Wow you actually retrieved them good job, but you didn't-,"
"No Ame headband is down there," she said helping Ino out of the water and carried her to the shore,
Yamato held up Klara's real headband, "True,"
"You rigged the test?," Ino asked while shivering,
"I rigged a test," Yamato clarified, "Now I know how you three will react in a similar situation,"
"Why do that?," Klara asked,
Yamato crossed his arms, "Naruto is out," he stated letting the jinjuriki go, "You two get ready to try again in thirty minutes," Yamato vanished in a swirl of leaves,
Ino frowned "What?," she asked,
Klara shook her head as she put her waterproof cloak on Ino,
"He can't do that," she stated, "Can he?,"
"He can," Klara stated, "And he has,"
"But-," Ino groaned trying to think of a response,
Yamato shook his head as he leaned against a nearby tree, 'If she thinks that's not fair she'd have been better dropping the class anyway,' he thought,
OCTOPUS-Flashback-OCTOPUS
Yamato stood in Itachi's office,
"Listen Yamato," Itachi said, "These three are very important," he said, "Klara could be anyone's family from Ame, and I don't doubt they'll say she's the sole heir to an important clan there if anything happens to her, then there's Ino-,"
"The Yamanaka clan heir,"
Itachi nodded, "And Naruto," he stated, "If you aren't sure about them, if you think they can't make it I order you to fail them,"
"Sir?,"
"Naruto is a target on many people's radars for what he is, it will draw attention to him and the team,"
"Especially to other villages,"
"I'm sure they all have orders," he held a picture of Naruto, "If you see him capture him for our village,"
Yamato nodded, "I understand,"
OCTOPUS-Flashback end-OCTOPUS
Yamato groaned, 'This group would survive with a little training, and I do want to try my hand at being someone's sensei, but-,'
"It's fine," Naruto said putting his arms behind his head,
"It's not fine," Ino said running over to him, "Why would you say that?,"
Naruto looked up at her, he held his fist up, "Do you know what I can do to people if I can't control my strength?," he asked, "Even to someone like Taichi-kun?,"
Yamato froze, he'd honestly never imagined what Naruto's punch could do to people like Itachi, but he'd seen what Naruto could do, and now that he thought about it he winced slightly as he imagined the sound of the punch, the force of the gale, needed to kill Itachi, and he knew Naruto was capable of such an attack,
"Naruto?," Ino asked,
"I'm so strong I break my own body, today I got so excited about that new thing you two thought up that I screwed up," Naruto said, "If I had just picked him up like we planned maybe we'd have won,"
"That isn't your fault," Klara stated, "He's a Jonin the plan wouldn't have worked for very long anyway,"
"But I deviated from it anyway," Naruto said, "In battle that could hurt my team, I'm sorry," he said,
"Don't be," Ino sat next to him, "It's my fault, if I was stronger I wouldn't have tried to rely on you two,"
"I think there are areas we three could all improve on," Klara stated sitting near the two of them, "Today we failed,"
Ino nodded, "Yeah," then she laid down, "So three more years of the academy eh?,"
"Yeah,"
Ino groaned, "That's gonna suck,"
"Yes, another three years I'll have to wait," Klara sighed,
"Huh?," Naruto asked,
'What?,' Yamato thought,
"Well I'm not joining a genin team if you aren't there," Ino stated, "Friends do do that," she said slapping Naruto's arm,
"I feel the same way, besides who's going to protect you from the horned guy if not us?," Klara asked,
"Or more likely others from him," Ino joked gesturing at Naruto,
Yamato crossed his arms, 'They all intend to go back to the academy?,' he hopped out of the tree and walked towards them,
"Huh?, oh it's him," Ino said, "Well you can send us all back cause I refuse to let anyone else suffer having to deal with him,"
"Seconded," Klara said,
Yamato stopped a foot away from the group, he took a deep breath,
"My name is Yamato Senju," he stated sitting down, "I like scaring people, studying and reading," he said, "I don't like reckless people, or people who try to get by on others hard work," both descriptions were aimed at Naruto and Ino,
Then he smiled, "But..." then shadows covered everything but his eyes, "When I'm done with you two you'll improve,"
Ino hid behind Klara and Naruto tried hiding behind his hair,
"Wait does that mean that you'll be our teacher?," Klara asked,
Yamato turned the torch he was holding off, "Yeah, My hobbies are hmm, actually I don't really have any," he said, "My dreams for the future are. . . for you three to become great ninja," he said, "But I reserve the right to throw you three back into the academy at any point you all fall beneath my standards," he said, "First I want promises from you all, Naruto you will not do anything so recklessly stupid unless its necessary for the team, Ino you will train, Klara you'll..."
Klara blinked, "Yes sir?,"
Yamato crossed his arms, "You'll learn how to hold your breath,"
"I promise," the three students said,
"Good," Yamato said, "Now who want's to continue where I left off?,"
Ino raised her hand, "My name is Ino Yamanaka, I like reading, watching stuff with these two, and flowers, I don't like being in crowds," she said, "My hobby is working for my parents in the family flower shop, and my dream for the future is to master a secret power I have,"
"Okay, Klara you're next," Yamato said,
Klara nodded, "I'm Klara Valon, I like training, knives, learning jutsu, and practicing my kinjutsu," she said, "I don't like sitting around and doing nothing, my hobbies are training and making Origami," Klara said taking a kunai out of her holder and checking it was sharp, "My dream for the future is to become an Ame Jonin,"
"Klara, you sound like you work too much as it is," Yamato said, "Naruto you're next,"
"Okay," Naruto grinned, "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, I like Kokuo, Chomei,-"
"You might want to skip the rest of us so you don't take all day," Isobu said,
"Okay Isobu," Naruto said, "Ino, Klara, Itachi, Ayame, Sasuke, Miss Unlucky, Iruka-,"
"Don't take all day Naruto," Yamato said,
"Okay, I don't like the fact I can't control my chakra, and that I'll never be able to use jutsu without one of my friend's help, my hobbies are making sake, facing off with my rival Sasuke, and trying to increase my strength, my dream is to be the Hokage,"
Yamato nodded, "Alright then would the three of you follow me?," he asked standing up,
The three students nodded and followed him and all were surprised he'd let them to a weapon shop,
"Um Yamato-sensei why are we here?," Ino asked,
"Because Ino I figured out a way to make Naruto somewhat effective against enemies who out speed him," Yamato responded walking over to the counter, "I need a weapon for my student," he said to the young girl behind it,
"Really what kind?," she asked, "A tanto knife?, sword?, slingsh-,"
"No something different, like a big metal pillar,"
"A big metal pillar?," she asked, "How big are we talking?,"
"Ten feet tall, and as thick as a tree trunk,"
"Okay, you are aware nobody could even lift that right?," she asked,
"Maybe not at first, but trust me, he'll lift it," Yamato said pointing at Naruto,
"Um sensei," Naruto said, "How am I going to pay for that?,"
The curiosity turned to horror when Yamato's face was again shrouded and he let out a fiendishly spine chilling laugh,
OCTOPUS-Sixteen days later-OCTOPUS
The three genin of team sixteen glared hatefully at their Jonin sensei as he smiled as the girl from the weapon shop told him Naruto's new weapon which the albino had dubbed ''The Pillar'' was done, the three were covered in cat scratches, and paint,
"Did you three enjoy the D ranks?," the girl behind the counter asked,
"WE HAD TO CATCH THAT STUPID FURBALL FOURTY SIX TIMES!," Ino raged,
"Forty six times a week," Klara added trying to retain her composure,
"I got paint in my hair," Naruto whined as he turned showing the girl his hair was splashed with what was a rainbow of different shades of brown fence paint and white paint splotches,
Yamato smirked, "Keep it up, I think I can hear Tora escaping again,"
"I loved the D rank missions so much," Ino said faking a huge smile,
"It's all great exercise," Klara said,
"Who cares if my hair will never get clean again?," Naruto said,
"I'm glad to hear it," Yamato said turning back to the girl, "So how's my order?,"
"It's in the back," she said waving the group after her, ''The back'' as it turned out was in fact a forge, there on the floor was a large metal pillar covered in metal handles, "We added those so that Scruffy over there could actually hold it, you know hypothetically," she said gesturing to Naruto,
Yamato whistled at it, "It's pretty big, what do you think Naruto?,"
Naruto walked over to the large thing, "Hmm," he said, then he cocked his fist back and punched it, it rolled slightly, then he took hold of two of the handles, and attempted to lift the colossal weapon,
To Ten-Ten's surprise he actually got it an inch off the floor before dropping it, "It's heavy," he said, then he grinned, he took off his left bracer, "But," and with a burst of red chakra he deadlifted the entire thing over his head with one hand, "Soon I'll be able to lift it without taking my bracers off," he said,
"How does it feel?," Ino asked, "Holding that thing above your head?,"
Naruto looked up, "It feels right,"
"Well I already have your payment for the weapon Naruto," Yamato said, "So why don't you take the rest of the day off for strength training?,"
"Yiss, thanks sensei," Naruto said,
"Wait," Ten-Ten walked over to him "Here," she handed him a scroll, "It's for storing that thing inside," and after she took a picture of him holding The Pillar above his head, and after a quick tutorial on how to use the scroll Naruto ran off home to practise lifting The Pillar with both bracers on,
But before even attempting to lift it again he knew he'd need to get stronger, and so he did some weight lifting, which to him was lifting logs and not short logs either, no these logs dwarfed The Pillar in size and width, before he had bracers he lifted fourteen logs stacked on top of each other before getting bored and wandering off,
With the bracers he barely managed to lift four at once, thus Naruto set himself a goal, if he could lift seven logs he believed he could lift The Pillar,
So he began training, unaware of the eyes on him, and due to his enhanced regeneration by the afternoon Naruto could confidently lift five logs, as he set them down to have a rest and a snack and he wasn't the only one pushing himself,
OCTOPUS-With Sasuke-OCTOPUS
The Uchiha was currently sparing with Kagero Fuma, while they waited for their Sensei,
The could barely hear the indignant cries of their third teammate Sakura Haruno who repeatedly told the two "We're supposed to wait for Kakashi-Sensei,"
"Really Sakura?," Sasuke huffed, "Both Shinobu and Naruto are pushing themselves to the limit right now," he stated deflecting Kagero's strange Bow/Short sword weapon in its short sword form with a kunai, "I don't exactly have the time to wait for Sensei just so I can start training, as Naruto's rival I have to keep myself in top shape else he'll blaze past me, and as Shinobu's brother I have to be someone she can spar with at all times, since she and I are racing to see who becomes the clan head," he said,
The pale girl ducked under Sasuke's knife and leaped back changing her own weapon into its bow form, "I agree with Sasuke, even if Kakashi-Sensei is not here-" she drew and fired an arrow which whizzed by the Uchiha's head while he ran up to her, "We should use the time to be productive Sakura," she landed with a spin and again her bow was changed into a Short sword, she spun under Sasuke's slash and he barely dodged her own by jumping back, "You need more training then either of us, perhaps you should start taking this more seriously?," she suggested, changing her weapon again and firing three arrows at the airborne Sasuke,
"BECAREFUL KAGERO!," Sakura screamed before Sasuke used a shadow clone to pull him outta the way of the arrows, Sakura rushed over to try and catch Sasuke but he made another shadow clone who caught him instead,
"Damn I used a ninjutsu," he groaned dispelling his clones, "You win Kagero,"
"Unfairly!," Sakura said as she checked Sasuke over for injuries,
"On the contrary Sakura we agreed the use of weapons was fair, using ninjutsu however is an instant disqualification," Kagero stated,
"Besides this is just training," Sasuke said, "Kagero and I are holding back way more then an enemy ninja will, when we get a real mission and not these paid chores then we'll have to deal with actual enemy ninja who'll try beating us down to complete their own missions,"
"A good point Sasuke," Team seven's sensei said as he wandered over to them, "I'm glad to see at least two of you take this seriously," he said giving Sakura a glance with his lone eye,
"At least I'm here on time!," she exclaimed,
"Another fair point," Kakashi said, "But I have figured out something that'll be quite beneficial," he said, "Today we'll be continuing the sparing,"
Sakura groaned, "But they've been sparing for hours,"
Kakashi shook his head, "Yes they have, you haven't, and that changes now, Kagero on one side Sakura on the other, same rules as before weapons are allowed, ninjutsu isn't,"
"I think I'll do without my weapon Sensei," Kagero said putting her bow/short sword away, "Sasuke would at least force me to use it to win, but I'm not sure Sakura could beat me if I were already dead,"
"Okay, but how about we raise the stakes a little?," he asked "Whoever wins gets a kiss from Sasuke,"
"What?," the three students asked,
"I refuse to kiss anyone," Sasuke stated,
"Sasuke come over here for me would you?," Kakashi asked,
The Uchiha walked over and his teacher knelt down, "I know what I'm asking if you isn't your idea of fun, but the reason I'm asking is because we both know who's going to win right?," Kakashi quietly asked the black haired genin,
"Kagero will win, she's actually able to match me," Sasuke stated,
"Exactly, when Sakura sees her kiss you it'll drive home how weak she is, and maybe she'll start training more,"
"Sensei I don't want to kiss Kagero either," Sasuke stated, in the Uchiha's mind he was still a child, and as a child he was to young to think of girls and whatnot, he still had to kill his first enemy yet, not that he found the fair skinned green haired girl unattractive though, she was very appealing, but he was an Uchiha heir, maybe one day Kagero would grow into a fearsome and fearless warrior and he would offer to marry her, but right now she just like him was still a child,
Though he certainly was keeping his eye on her for the future, she was number 2 on his list of possible wives, underneath Hinata since he was curious what an Uchiha Hyuga hybrid would be like, though that was the only reason Hinata was above Kagero, and he very much doubted they'd actually get together anyway what with Hinata being a shy pacifist, which was the opposite of Sasuke's entire philosophy, which would cause many arguments,
Sasuke blinked as he realised how much he'd been thinking about this very topic,
"I know but you want Sakura to improve right?," His teacher asked,
"Of course I do, she's likely to get herself hurt at this rate," Sasuke stated, he didn't like Sakura, but he didn't want her hurt either, he crossed his arms, "Fine I'll kiss whoever wins," he said,
"Thanks Sasuke," Kakashi said, "Ladies he said he'll do it,"
"A k-k-kiss?, from Sasuke?," Sakura asked with a blush on her cheeks,
"I don't want a kiss," Kagero stated,
"Regardless Kagero that's the prize, If you don't want it maybe you should lose?,"
Kagero's expression became one of disgust at the idea of throwing a match, and she turned to face the determined expression of Sakura,
"Begin!," Kakashi said,
After a short battle with Sakura sprinting faster then expected at Kagero, the green haired girl easily caught her hand and threw her over her shoulder, before restraining an arm behind her back, "I win," Kagero said as cheerfully as someone who'd just been told they had to have an arm amputated,
Sasuke walked over to her, "Well you win," Kagero nodded, and the two stared at each other for an awkward moment before Kagero pecked the Uchiha's lips,
"There," she stated, "I've claimed my prize, Sasuke's first kiss," she rolled her eyes, "Can we train yet?, I'm itching for something to do,"
Kakashi sighed, but he smiled under his mask when he noticed the determined expression on Sakura's face, 'Here's hoping taking Rin's advice will work,'
OCTOPUS-With team sixteen-OCTOPUS
Yamato frowned, "Come on Ino you need more jutsu in your arsenal," he said watching the heiress panting as she tried and failed to learn a D rank lightning jutsu While Klara stood away from the two practicing a wind jutsu with a wood clone of Yamato's,
"Sensei," she panted, "You have me trying to learn three different jutsu, none of which are my affinity,"
Yamato nodded, "Yes I know that, but the reason I'm having you learn them is because each are useful, Lightning Style: Brilliant Spark creates a bright flash which will make getting away from enemies easier, Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu is good for a wide variety of reasons, and finally Ninja art: Camouflage Jutsu will make you harder to find,"
"Why am I on three and Klara has one?," Ino asked,
"Because One: Naruto can't learn jutsu which means you two will have to cover him in the field, two Klara has sixteen jutsu she can already do, and three because you aren't suited to be a sensor," then he gave his evil grin, "Yet," after he cleared his throat he said, "Also Klara is learning Wind Style: Vacuum Gale, a B rank jutsu, I'm just as hard on her as I am on you and Naruto,"
Ino rolled her eyes, "Yeah you sent the strong guy to lift something, he's probably already done by now,"
"No he's up to five logs and taking a snack break, I have a wood clone watching him," Yamato stated, "And when he's done and he can lift that behemoth weapon his next step will be a ten round spar against me and an old friend of mine so he can figure out how to use it in combat,"
Ino nodded, she'd figured he'd do something like that, "Look if you're struggling take a break there's no shame in that, in fact, Klara break time!," he called,
The lavender haired girl gave a thumbs up and walked over to them, after she reached them she flopped onto the floor, "I feel like I breathed all the breath out of me," she groaned,
Yamato smiled at his team, 'It's going to be an interesting experience with these three,'

It's a line to point out that Itachi isn't worried and to tell the audience this happens a lot hinting at Naruto's inability to control his strength,
You make the mistake of A: assuming everyone has the same taste of literature as you do, and B: Assuming that I'm sane,[Though I can't tell what doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result each time has to do with my terrible ability to write a story]
Well it's actually quite simple, in the world of Naruto one can only do ninjutsu if they have enough chakra and enough control over their chakra, this is why in cannon Naruto couldn't make regular clones he would never have enough control over his chakra to make them due to the Nine Tails,
Here that problem is what I like to call Cannon X9, because I took the cannon Naruto and gave him 9 Times the chakra, he can't even use a single tailed beast chakra he draws it from all of them at the same time which is why his chakra is always red, even five percent is far too much for anyone to control hence why he can't use ninjutsu,
Him being brain dead is because he smashed his head against a tree and lost all his memories, what he knows was told to him by the tailed beasts,
No he'll hit as hard as All Might right now, not after the time skip, not after unlocking tailed beast form, Take off the bracers and he's All Might strong, which yes make him far too overpowered since if he could control that Zabuza would be sent to the moon in round one,
You forgot that Naruto heals fast and will eventually have access to say spitting acid, fire generation, Flight, ect it would be very hard for someone to actually pressure him by the time A were to start considering Naruto a threat,
Also In this story Naruto already avoided A's speed,
I would say if you hate the story so much you should probably find one you enjoy more but I think you already did,

No I knew the right honorific Being Sama[Like Lord in English] rather then San[Like Mr], the point of that though is it wasn't what ''Klara'' was thinking of, also to hint as the reveal I decided to do anyway at the end of the chapter,
I went with the choice to do that so that Naruto will- well you'll see, and yes you will hear more about that,
I mean three year time skip and Iruka mentioned somebody needed to learn how to talk with a look at Naruto, I gotta show not tell,
Yeah the rivalry between the two is better developed as an actual rivalry since Sasuke still has his family who all love and care for Naruto like he was a member of it, thus this Sasuke found it easier to connect with Naruto,
I've had that Idea for Itachi pretty much since the story began, kind and cordial to everyone he meets, but to those that cross him. . . well he was and Anbu captain so I'll just leave that there, While Naruto was Meeting the Biju Itachi was hunting down the Anbu who abandoned Naruto,
As for his eyes, The bottom two are pupil less blue, where as the third is lavender, though yes they can become Kaguya's at will Naruto doesn't know that,
Yeah I noticed the Klara reveal went over a lot of peoples heads so I clarified it in this chapter, but for the record the Klara Valon in this story Is Konan,
