Chapter 14: reunion and massacre
In the hokage's office.
"Lady Tsunade. A deadly gas attack was launched on Otogakure. Almost everybody is dead. The village was then burned to the ground. Graffiti was found. It says Shannon and Father were here." Tsunade alerted.
"Shannon, I didn't know the kid that well. All I knew was that he was a troublemaking kid with no parents." Tsunade responded.
"According to historians, Father could be a reference to Fritz Haber, the father of chemical warfare." Shizune Reported.
"Isn't Fritz Haber dead?" Tusnade questioned.
"Yes." Shizune answered.
"He was dead"
Shannon along with Dan Kato, Nawaki and Fritz Haber walk into the office.
Tsunade is shocked. Nawaki runs over to Tsunade and hugs her. Shizune does the same to Dan.
All are crying at this reunion. The pain of the loss for once doesn't sting.
"This is beautiful."
They turn around to see a girl with a small dog's head popping out of her high collared hime kimono. This girl also has the byakugan in both of her eyes.
The dog barks furiously
"Calm Ice, Mommy's talking." The girl calmed down her dog by rubbing its forehead.
"Death is a horrible curse upon humanity. I'm glad someone found a way to bring people back from the dead. That's a start towards ending this curse. No one should have to die. Fate is an illusion cast by the god or gods that created the world." the girl said.
"I like your beliefs, freaky girl." Shannon replied.
"Thank you. My name is Kaluna Aura-Sun." Kaluna introduced herself.
Kaluna proceeds to walk away.
"That brings me to the next thing I was going to alert you about lady Tsunade. Chance Aura-Sun attempted to assassinate the Fuhrer. He was only stopped by Blaze Lezo Miru the Kajikage. He killed 20 guards all were jonin according to the 4th Reich. He also severely injured the Fuhrer. Tensions are rising and everybody is planning their next move. And that's not the worst part. Chance, Corrie, Korrina, Kaluna and other members of his family are in Konoha. I have sent an anbu squad to spy on them." Shizune alerted.
"Why? Isn't he on our side now?" Tsunade questioned.
"Just to make sure he doesn't do anything suspicious or dangerous here." Shizune answered.
"Great thinking Shizune." Tsunade praised.
"Thank you." Shizune replied.
At the forest of death.
"Why did you bring us here?" One Aura-Sun asked.
"It's simple. We are being followed by four Anbu members.
"Why are we being followed? Mew asked.
"I don't know. But come out you Anbu spies!" Chance shouted.
The anbu reveal their presence.
"How did you know you were being followed?" Eagle masked anbu member asked.
"Hahahahahaha! It never ceases to not amuse me. My family and I have a special ability that renders spying on us useless." Chance answered with a big smile on his face.
"Now Marshall, Zhukov. Protect Armie since she is in a wheelchair and can't defend herself and protect mother since we can't risk her condition getting worse.
"No! I'm sick of being weaker than you." Armie responded.
"Armie, I feel sorry for you but until your legs recover you can't fight." Chance said.
Armie struggles to stand on her own two feet. Chance has a sad expression on his face.
"Armie, I know you are eager to prove yourself, but you know you can't fight in your condition. Especially against Anbu." Korrina said.
"I can fight." Armie said, determined.
Chance pulls out a lighter and lights it in front of Armie causing her to pass out. Luckily Melina catches her.
"What the hell Chance?! You know that awakens the beast inside of her!" An Aura-Sun scolded.
"I'm well aware of that Draco." Chance responded.
Now Yakumo, put an end to them!" Chance commanded.
The anbu are put to sleep via genjutsu.
"Marshall, Zhukov, Draco, and Jagr. I know you love the thrill of the kill. Here are some free kills." Chance offered.
"Chance, you know that you can't let them get killed and risk Konoha turning against you." Mew stated.
"Ah yes, thanks for the reminder. Now you boys carry them to the hokage's office. I have a few questions I would like her to answer." Chance ordered.
"You're not going to do anything aggressive are you?" Melina questioned.
"Hell no, That's not who I am. You make sure that Armies body is in water before it's too late." Chance answered.
"Alright." Melina responded.
In the hokage's office
Tsunade is doing paperwork when suddenly the door is knocked down.
"Howdy their sexy lady." Marshall greeted.
"No way he just said that." Shizune thought to herself in shock
"That's no way to approach the Hokage!" Tsunade yelled.
"Miss hokage, how about me and you have a private meeting after this?" Marshall proposed.
"Not in your life.' Tsunade rejected.
Chance laughs hysterically.
"Chance, you really need to learn how not to burst out laughing in important situations." Draco said annoyed.
"Sorry, sorry it's just that Marshall really tried to make his move on someone he not only just met but is an adult. Marshall your desperation is showing yet again." Chance apologized.
"Shut up. With a body like that who wouldn't want a piece of the pie if you know what I mean." Marshall defended his actions.
"I understand but that's not what we are here for. Hokage, was it you who sent Anbu to spy on me and my family?" Chance questioned.
"No, Shizune my assistant did, it seems your family members are carrying them." Tsunade answered.
"Yes. I just wanted to return them. They are under a genjutsu that Yakumo here has casted. Impressive ain't it. High ranking members of Konoha defeated by someone who isn't an official shinobi. I'd see that as a problem. But anyway, why did she send them to spy on us?" Chance asked.
"That's classified information." Tsunade answered.
Chance cracks a smile.
"Alright but that's going to fuel mistrust between us because I declare Rota to be allied with the allies. My goals are simple and noble. Destroy the axis powers and in the process fascism and communism which is being spread like a disease in Kusa. Make Rota an empire again and revive the power of Aura. revive Yakumo's parents and stay here in Konoha while Corrie takes care of Rota." Chance explained.
"Those are great goals to have. I'm sure you will be a great help in this war." Tsunade replied.
"Oh, you have nothing to worry about. And if you dare try and pull shit like that again. Let's just say there will be hell to pay." Chance threatened. Chance and family leave.
In a dark chamber
Danzo is on the verge of death.
"Well Danzo, I never expected to kill you but I'm glad I did. Now I get all of your power plus all of these impressive anbu members. You can never kill my emotions and I refuse to let your darkness live any longer.
"Damn you, Shannon. After everything I have done you betray me like this!" Danzo yelled.
"Betraying people is surprisingly fun, Jey Usotsuki knows damn well about that. you're going to be a useful tool to accomplish my goals." Shannon replied.
Shannon finishes Danzo off. He and his revived shinobi take their DNA and take them back to Shannon's secret meeting place to revive them.
At Ichiraku ramen
Sasuke explains why he left Konoha, His quest for vengeance and why he sought power from o\Orochimaru.
"I'm sorry for leaving you Naruto and Sakura. I no longer have a desire for revenge, and I wish to keep our bond." Sasuke apologized.
"It's ok Sasuke. We understand why you did this." Sakura responded.
"It's great to have you back Sasuke." Naruto said.
"Let's not do this ever again." Kakashi remarked.
"Alright." Sasuke responded.
"Sasuke, why did you come back?" Naruto asked.
"A man named Shannon killed Itachi. He forced Itachi to tell me the truth about the Uchiha clan massacre. Itachi spared me from dying like the rest of the Uchiha and manipulated me into fostering my hatred and to get strong enough to kill him and be hailed as a hero of Konoha. He always loved me, and I no longer had hatred towards him." Sasuke explained.
"That's all well and good but where does that leave me? I know you want to be back in team 7 but I'm already in your place. I hear there's two Genin that need another teammate." Karl said.
"How about a battle? To decide who stays and who leaves." Sasuke challenged.
"I accept your challenge." Karl accepted.
At the Hyuga estate
"Is this really what you want?" Chance asked.
"Yes, I wish to prove myself against other byakugan wielders. You and Samurai will protect me against any immediate hostilities.". Kaluna answered.
"Of course, After all it's in the doctrine If I fail to protect and serve you, I kill myself." Chance responded.
"That would be a shame." Kaluna replied.
Chance knocks on the front door.
Hinata opens it.
"May I help you?" Hinata asked.
"Yes, I wish to challenge as many current generation Hyuga clan members with the byakugan as possible." Kaluna Answered.
"Um, Sure come in." Hinata responded.
"Hinata, who are these two?" Hiashi questioned.
"My name Is Kaluna Aura-Sun and I wish to battle as many current generation hyuga clan members with the bakugan as possible." Kaluna answered.
"My name Is Chance Aura-Sun. I'm here to protect Kaluna and I won't hesitate to kill you if you dare kill Kaluna." Chance answered.
"How the hell does this girl have the Byakugan? She must have killed a member of the main branch. It makes sense. I sense something off about them. The boy seems like a ruthless killer and the girl seems mysterious." Hiashi thought.
Hiashi leads them to the training area.
"I wish to battle the current heir or heiress." Kaluna wished.
"Alright. Hanabi, you have a challenger." Hiashi alerted hanabi.
"Before the fight starts Hanabi, Hinata and Neji I would like to have a word with you." Hiashi said.
They walk into another room of the estate.
"Alright, I called you in here to warn you about those two. Chance the boy may be a ruthless killer who may get involved in the fights somehow. So Hinata, Neji keep an eye on him. The girl Kaluna may have stolen her byakugan from a fallen member of the main branch so be careful around her Hanabi." Hiashi warned.
The nod in agreement. They walk out to the area.
"You warned them of us. There is no reason to be afraid of us." Kaluna stated.
"How did they know I warned them?!" Hiashi thought.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Kaluna you're not supposed to scare them shitless. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Chance said laughing hysterically.
"Alright, Alright I'll stop. Now hurry up and fight these strangers." Chance said.
"Right." Kaluna replied.
Hanabi gets into her gentle fist stance while Kaluna just stands there.
"Let me explain the rules. Rule number one, you will not kill your opponent. Rule number two you will only use gentle fist and gentle fist related taijutsu in this duel any other tai, nin or genjutsu is forbidden. Rule number three: no ninja tools. Rule number four any unsportsmanlike conduct is forbidden. Now, Begin!" Hiashi shouted.
Hinabi waits for Kaluna to make her move.
"Go to uncle chance Ice." Kaluna said to her dog.
Ice puts her on the ground and Ice rushes over to Chance.
"So, how strong is the little one?" Chance asked Neji.
"She's strong, She's the current heiress to the Hyuga clan." Neji answered.
"Kaluna is going to be glad to hear that. For some reason she has the goal of defeating the three of you. She's always training to make herself stronger than this clan which I never heard of before despite the mountains of research I have done on shinobi. What is this? Some irrelevant clan with a kekkei genkai?" Chance jested.
Neji gets mad and attacks Chance, but he dodges with incredible speed.
"Stop it, Neji." Hinata said getting in the way.
"What's that? Speak up Minnie mouse I couldn't quite hear you?" Chance insulted.
"How dare you insult the Hyuga clan. I'm going to make you sorry for saying that." Neji threatened.
"Really? I'm afraid you can't do that for a few reasons. One you got the soft voiced weakling blocking your way. Two you won't be able to hit me and three I could kill you before you even laid a hand on me. In Fact, I could kill everybody here if I wanted to." Chance explained.
"Hinata, get out the way, I'm going to make him regret ever bad mouthing our family." Neji threatened.
"Oh, be quiet. I lied about not knowing anything about your clan. In fact, I know about the Hyuga clan's curse mark they place on the branch house that makes them their bitch. And about the flat-out ridiculous system this clan has. Main and branch families. Just have everybody in one family to prevent animosity and to make everyone in the family equal. Maybe the shrimp will change the system one day. Also, I know you practice incest it would look terrible if I exposed you So I wouldn't make any more empty threats.
Back on the battlefield
Hanabi decides to take the fight to Kaluna. Hanabi throws palm strikes at Kaluna who dodges and blocks with her own.
"Your gentle fist won't work on me. I'm disabling your ability for your gentle fist to hurt me while secretly destroying your chakra pathway network using my Gentle destruction. If you look at your arm it's bleeding from my long fingernails, a common trait among the Aura-Suns. My chakra is preventing you from using your own chakra and destroying your chakra pathway network from the inside." Kaluna explained.
"This fight is over." Kaluna claimed.
Kaluna charges and strikes Hanabi with 361 palms. Hanabi falls to the ground unconscious. Kaluna smiles and speaks
"Not even a scratch."
Hiashi, Hinata and Neji rush to hanabi.
"What did you do to my daughter?!" Hiashi questioned grabbing Kaluna by her neck.
"Hooray an excuse to kick some ass." Chance thought.
"Hey! Put her down!" Chance yelled.
Hiashi puts her down.
"Aura Sphere!" Chance shouted.
A large ball of aura is launched at such a fast speed Hiashi can't react to it. It explodes causing Neji and Hinata to fall to the ground.
Chance grabs his sword, but Kaluna gets in his way.
"Lucifer, calm down." Kaluna said with authority.
"This is Chance and I'm in control. He got his punishment, and I wasn't going to kill him but use the forbidden kenjutsu technique. Now I feel like our relationship with these people has soured and we must get out of here. But hey you defeated the current heiress of a disgusting clan, so this trip wasn't much of a waste. Good day to you creeps, your bakugan can't stop me from kicking your ass." Chance stated. Chance and Kaluna leave the estate.
At team 7s training ground.
"Alright, there are no rules except you are not allowed to kill each other. Once the other is unable to fight it's over. You may begin." Kakashi said.
Sasuke charges at Karl and relentlessly strikes him with taijutsu attacks. Karl gets a safe distance away.
Karl weaves hand signs.
"Leaf shuriken jutsu." Karl said.
Leaves from the trees fall from the trees and are sharpened with chakra so they can be used like shuriken. They come from all directions Sasuke uses Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique to incinerate each leaf.
"Good job. You turned them all to ash." Karl said.
"Ash drowning jutsu." Karl said.
He creates arms of ash that grab ahold of Sasuke's legs. Karl sends more shuriken leaves at Sasuke and Sasuke uses his sword he got from Orochimaru to free himself from the arms and dodges the leaves.
Karl throws smoke bombs on the ground then a few at Sasuke feels himself trapped in a vortex of wind.
"I can't move. How do I escape this vortex?" Sasuke thought.
Karl throws waves of poison drenched senbon at Sasuke. Sasuke is defenseless.
Karl charges at the vortex and jumps high.
The vortex dispels and sasuke starts to fall to the ground. Once Karl is at a higher altitude, he charges then releases a large and strong beam of chakra that hastens sasuke's trip to the ground.
Sasuke gets up but not without suffering intense damage from the chakra beam.
"How are you standing?! That should have finished you off!" Karl Questioned.
"I admit you're a strong shinobi. You have brought me to my limit but It's over for you now." Sasuke claimed.
"Oh yeah? How's that?" Karl asked.
Sasuke activates his cursed seal of heaven to its second level.
"What the hell are you? Some kind of demon?" Karl asked.
"Yes, I'm a demon that's going to terrorize you." Sasuke answered.
Sasuke activates his sharingan that has three tomoe.
Suddenly Sasuke kicks Karl into the air the same way Rock Lee did to Sasuke in their first encounter. Sasuke then moves behind Karl midair and kicks him further in the air then uses his lion combo to kick Karl back to the ground defeating him.
"Great job Sasuke!" Sasuke praised.
Sasuke Senses an ambush and side steps right and dodges a sneak attack by Marshall. Sasuke grabs his sword and defends himself against an incoming attack by Draco with his own sword.
Zhukov grabs Sakura and holds her hostage with a kunai close to her neck.
"Don't move or else she gets it." Zhukov threatens.
Jagr hides in the trees; he then fires a shot from his sniper rifle. It hits Kakashi in the shoulder before he could react. Naruto throws a shuriken at Jagr. Jagr retreats knowing that he is no longer hidden.
Naruto then engages in taijutsu combat with Marshall and is defeated. Marshall is about to kill Naruto with a small knife. He then is frozen in place.
"What in blazes?" Marshall asks himself.
It's Shikamaru and Ino who is lying on the ground and being controlled by Ino. Shikamaru has now caught Marshall in his shadow Imitation technique. He controls Marshall too move away from Naruto.
Zhukov is down on the ground.
"Get up you fool or else we are in big trouble." Marshall said.
Choji with his human bullet technique pressures Draco to get away from Sasuke.
"It seems I'm in quite the predicament. But you forgot something. There are ten Aura-Suns. You have only experienced four of us so far. Each one of us is powerful and When you mess with one of us, you pay a price in some way." Draco said. Suddenly Jagr, Chance, Korrina, and an unnamed female Aura-Sun, Corrie, And Kaluna Arrive.
"Wow, I'm not surprised by this showing of incompetence. I don't think attacking is such a good idea. Grab them and go." Chance said.
Suddenly they are surrounded by Yugito Nii, Killer B, Neji and Hinata.
Chance cracks a nervous smile and says.
"If this is supposed to intimidate me it worked. But you can't hurt me because I could have you and your villages destroyed easily." Chance said.
"What are you talking about?" Yugito asked.
"It's simple, Kill me and my family and the axis powers will gain a new member because i'm the king of Rota. This attack by my brothers was not ordered on my behalf. I had nothing to do with this. And Hyugas your father or whatever put her hands on Kaluna first so I retallited as any good cousin would. You have no reason to be here so get out of my way. I don't even know why you two are here." Chance answered.
"Chance, That's the woman I stole Matatabi from. And I assume that's her friend." Corrie assumed.
"Matatabi? Is that the name of the two tails?" Yugito asked.
"Yes, that's correct." Chance answered.
"Great, now give him or her back to me. I didn't go through hell just for a wannabe knight to steal it away from me." Yugito said.
"Wannabe?!" Corrie responded as she drew her sword.
"As much as I like to see a catfight, this isn't exactly the most appropriate thing to do in this situation." Chance stated.
"Fine, I'll back off." Corrie responded.
"Look I will make an offer you couldn't refuse. Tell me as many jinchuriki or someone who owns a tailed beast or beasts, and I will give you back both Kurama the nine tails and Matatabi the two tails. And That man you have next to you, I already know he is a jinchuriki of the eight tails Gyuki " Chance offered.
" How dare you disrespect me? I go by lord eight tails to you! And how the hell do you know their name?" Killer B questioned.
"Have any of you ever met a man named Archie?" Chance responded with a question of his own.
"No, I haven't." Killer B answered.
"He was many things: A scientist, An archaeologist, a great father and uncle. By traveling the world with Gurkinn, another one of my uncles. They both discovered the names of tailed beasts through use of Aura. They located the tailed beasts or their jinchuriki, used auras telepathy ability to communicate with the beasts, ask them their name, see the name in their mind, and that's how they found out the names of all tailed beasts. Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Goku, Kokou, Saiken, Chomei, Gyuki, and Kurama." Chance explained.
"Do you have possession of all of them?" Yugito questioned.
"No. I have 7 of them." Chance answered.
"Now if You don't get the fuck out of my way, I will gas this village and will bring uncurable agony to innocents. Do you want that?" Chance asked.
They get out of his way.
"Smart thinking now goodbye everybody. Chance has left the building." Chance said imitating Elvis Presley.
They run out of the leaf village.
