Casey, along with a small group of soldiers, joined him to make Leo storm the winter plaguing New York. Casey arrived at his castle and immediately knew that they were in for a lot. 'I knew his powers were powerful but I never expected this. Luckily Bradford and Xever aren't here since they would want to report this to Shredder immediately.' Casey thought to himself. Once they arrived at the staircase, Casey turned his horse to the soldiers. "We are here to find Princess April. Be on guard, but no harm is to come to the king." Casey got off his horse and asked, "Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir." All of the soldiers agreed with Casey as they all prepared to go into Leo's castle.

Casey got closer to the staircase but the giant pile of snow next to it sprung to life. It was Slash, ready to protect Leo's castle. Everyone drew their weapons and was ready to attack Slash. They were lucky that Slash was a bit slow so dodging his claws was easy. The battle started to get more difficult when some soldiers fired arrows in his arms. It did no damage but it did anger him. His eyes glowed blue and spikes grew from his shell and he gained ice fangs. Slash punched two of the soldiers with crossbows into a pile of snow. They got up with no severe damage but they saw Leo watching from his castle. When Leo noticed them, he quickly closed the doors. "The king." Lord Dregg's men picked up their crossbows and started to get to the castle to get Leo. The other soldiers were still fighting Slash. Slash hit the other soldiers including Casey. Casey fell in the snow and from under the legs saw Lord Dregg's men going after the king.

Leo ran up the stairs to hide. 'I have to get away but where?!'

"UP THERE!" One of the men spotted Leo running up the stairs. "Come on!"

Leo ran to a room that was a dead-end and Lord Dregg's men caught up with him. They had their weapons at the ready. "No. Please," Leo pleaded with his hands up in fear. Without hesitation, one of the men fired an arrow at Leo. Leo blocked his face with his hands. He waited for the arrow to his him but when he opened his eyes, a large shard of ice appeared with the arrow inside.

"Go around. Toss it!"

"Stay away!" Leo fired more ice at the men who dodged the attack by rolling away. "LOOK OUT!"

"Get him!"

Leo continued to fire more ice at the men to make them stop but they kept dodging his attacks.

Outside, Casey and the others were still fighting Slash. 'I must stop them but they kill the king.' Casey picked up his sword and cut off Slash's leg. "Come on!" Slash started to fall backward and before he fell down the pit. He tried to grab Casey who started to run up the stairs. He was nearly successful, part of the stairs were destroyed and Casey was barely holding on. The soldiers helped him up and they ran inside to save Leo.

Back with Leo, he was surrounded by Lord Dregg's men but he knew that he was not going down without a fight. His father taught him how to fight with his powers, it wasn't much but it was enough to defend himself. He was scared but he refused to back down.

One of the soldiers was about to fire his arrow at him but Leo summoned his ice and it pinned him against the wall. One ice shard started to get dangerously close to his neck. Leo then disarmed the other soldier and that soldier was about to flee, but Leo used his ice to block his path from the left and the right. He then used an ice barrier to crush him into the wall. The ice door broke as the man tried to fight against the giant block of ice as it pushed him off the edge.

Casey and the soldiers rushed in and Case saw that Leo was about to kill the two men. "King Leonardo!" Leo didn't acknowledge Casey at all. "Don't be the monster they fear you are." Leo listened to Casey's words and stopped using his powers. He was taking heavy breaths. The soldier trapped behind the ice shards used this opportunity with Leo's guard down to fire an arrow. Casey saw this and directed his fire elsewhere. The arrow fired at the tall chandelier causing it to fall right where Leo was standing. Leo dodged the falling chandelier but he slid against the wall and fell unconscious.

When Leo woke up, he was in the dungeons of his home. He rushed to look out the window to see if what April said was true but found himself unable to. He was chained up with his hands inside a gauntlet. 'I won't be able to use my powers like this.' Ignoring his powers for a moment, Leo got as comfortable as he could and looked out the window abd saw that April was right. New York was frozen solid and it was all his fault. "Oh, no. What have... What have I done?"

He heard the door unlock and Casey and Princess Miwa entered the room. "Why did you bring me here?" He asked Casey.

"I couldn't just let them kill you," Casey told him.

"King Leonardo, I ordered Casey to bring you back safely."

"But you don't understand! I'm a danger to New York. Get April."

The two looked at each other then back at Leo. "April has not returned," Casey told him.

Leo gasped softly then looked outside. 'April... what have I done?'

"Your majesty, if you would just stop the winter. Bring back summer, please."

"You don't understand. I... I can't." The two looked disappointed. "Please, Princess Miwa, you have to let me go."

She sighed and said, "I will do what I can." They left him alone and Leo's fear started to grow. Ice started to spread on his gauntlets and chains. 'Oh, no. April, please, please be safe.'

Mikey was sliding on his stomach like a penguin while Donnie was holding April while riding on Chompy. 'I have to get April back to Casey. He's the only one who can help her.' Donnie put his hat on April to keep her warm, he may not like the cold but April needed it more than he did right now. "Just hang in there, April. Come on, buddy, faster!" Chompy started to run faster, faster than most turtles mind you.

Mikey hit a rock as he was sliding down but he didn't crash which was good. He did fly high in the air and was separated from the group. "I'll meet you guys at the castle!" He shouted as he put his leg back together after landing on the ground.

"Stay out of sight, Mikey!"

"I will!" Not too long after, Mikey said, "Hello."

A woman screamed in terror. "It's alive!"

Chompy ran to the castle as fast as he could. He arrived at the castle and the guards saw them. "It's Princess April." Donnie stopped in front of the door and got off Chompy with April in his arms bridal style.

"Are you going to be okay?" April asked him.

He smiled at her and April could see the gap between his teeth. "Don't worry about me."

The doors opened and one of the servants said, "April, you had us worried sick."

The servents took April from Donnie and he told them, "Get her warm. And from Sir Casey, immediately."

"We will. Thank you."

"Make sure she's safe!"

April didn't hear the concerning voices as she looked back at Donnie one last time before the doors closed on him.

Chompy. walked closer to the door and whimpered worried for April. Donnie put a concerning hand on Chompy. Donnie was about to say something but he walked away. 'April is safe in the castle. She'll kiss her true love and that's it.' Chompy continued to whine at the doors of the castle as Donnie walked away.

"I'm going back out so search for Princess April," Casey told Miwa and the others.

"Casey, you can't. The weather is getting worse and who knows where the Princess could be," Miwa told him.

"I know your highness but..." As Casey talked with her, April entered the room. "Sir Casey."

"April!" Casey ran to April and hugged her. "April, you're so cold."

"Casey, you have to kiss me."

"What?"

'WHAT?!' Princess Miwa thought to herself shocked.

"Now! Now!"

"Hold on, slow down."

"We'll give you two some privacy." Everyone but Princess Miwa left them alone.

"What happened out there?" Casey asked her.

"Leo struck me with his powers."

"Leo? But you told us that he'd never hurt you," Miwa told her.

"I was wrong." April groaned in pain.

"April." Casey picked her up and placed her on the couch. April was shivering hard from the cold growing inside her.

"She froze my heart and only an act of true love can save me." Casey and Miwa shared a quick glance. This was the opportunity that they were looking for. It wasn't perfect, killing the siblings but the Shredder did order them to kill them first before their original decision to banish them or hide them from the people.

"A true love's kiss." Casey and April were about to share a kiss then Casey told her, "Oh, April. If only there was someone out there who loved you." April's eyes opened in shock and disbelief.
