Hey guys I'm gonna try and update this story every three days or so. I've got huge ideas for it. Sorry the first chapter was so short I've got longer chapters coming soon. Feel free to write reviews or message me. Also I think I wanna start doing pokespeech to let me know if I should or if that would be to much.
Ash and Pikachu were on their way to start a new journey, but they had to make a quick pit stop and see an old friend before they continue. Ash walked the path toward the last spot he saw his old friend and waited. "Hmm, do you seen him yet Pikachu?" Ash asked.
"Pikachu!" the small pokemon cried out
"Huh" Ash quickly turned to see a large ugly bird pokemon descending upon them.
Ash's mind flashed to years ago when he'd last seen that Fearow and thought they'd run it out of town for good. He cursed under his breath. Some things just dont know when to let it go, he thought. Before he could tell Pikachu to do anything a flock of slightly small birds swarmed the beast. Ash and pikachu watched in awe as the flock of Pidgeotto and Pidgeot attacked the helpless Fearow. The massive bird had a look of rage in its eyes as a Pidgeot slightly larger than the rest swooped in and delivered a final blow that sent Fearow blasting in the opposite direction. "Pidgeot!" Ash cried excitedly as he saw the friend he was looking for.
"Pidgeot" it cried as it descended to see its old master.
When it landed Ash and Pikachu ran up to their feathered companion and gave him a hug and laughed before Ash got a sad look in his eyes. " I'm sorry buddy. I told you I'd come back years ago, but after my trip I lost track and forgot about you. I was so busy adventuring. I hope you can forgive me."
"Pidgeot" That large bird squawked.
"I have to ask, would you like to rejoin me on my journey to become a master." Ash said as he held up a pokeball.
"Pidgeot" The pokemon cried as it flapped its wings and then gave the button a peck.
Ash smiled as his old friend returned to its ball. "Alright, Pidgeot I choose you!" Ash yelled with a smile as he let his friend out again.
Pidgeot sprang from the ball in a flash of light as he came back out with a cry. Ash politely asked if he and Pikachu could have a ride the rest of the way to Professor Oak's house, and Pidgeot happily complied. The rest of it was a breeze. They got to the large house within a matter of minutes. Ash allowed Pidgeot to go out into the pokemon area and regroup with the rest of his old friends and soon to be new ones as Ash and Pikachu went inside to talk to the professor.
"Hello Ash mboy, what brings you here on this fine day." Oak asked him enthusiastically.
"Actually, Professor, I have something to talk about." Ash began to tell him his plan.
As Ash explained his idea Oak became more and more surprised. He alway knew the boy had a winning spirit and would do anything to win, but the lengths he was talking about were madness. Ash who had never traveled alone for the past 7 years wanted to go out to an isolated location and train his pokemon and himself to peak form for the next few years until he thought he was ready to reface Alain in the Kalos league and win. Not only that but he wanted to go from there and back track through every region after that and win them as well. Something no trainer had ever done in history. Oak was appalled. "Ash, you've done wondrous things as a trainer though. You don't have to win a championship to be a master. You're one of the finest trainers I've ever had."
"Thank you sir, but this one isn't just for me it's for my pokemon, and sir i met someone who i believe i need to prove myself too."
"I see, looks like somebody finally broke through that denseness of yours." Oak said with a chuckle.
"Yes sir, so can you please help me."
"Of course I can, Ash. I'd be a fool if I didn't help you."
"Thank you, and i'd prefer if you didn't tell anyone who comes looking for me where I am."
"Anything to help you reach your dreams, Ash."
Over the course of the next few hours Ash gathered the pokemon he wanted to take while Oak looked on the map for areas that Ash could go and be close enough to a center to transfer pokemon back and forth and the go back to isolation. They decided on a isolated area near Charific Valley. Ash picked his pokemon as Pikachu, Pidgeot, Gible, and Sceptile. They left two spaces open for members that Ash had faith would come back to him. Then it was time for Ash and his team to go. "One more thing Ash." Oak said as he was about to take off on Pidgeots back.
"What is it sir?" Ash asked with an odd look at the professor.
"I want you to have this." Oak said as he held up a box.
Ash opened it and found the box only had one small stone in it that he had seen a lot of in the past year. "A key stone." Ash said. "But professor, I don't have any Pokemon that can mega evolve right now."
" I wouldn't be so sure Ash look in your Pidgeots claws."
Sure enough Ash's old friend was clutching to a Pidgeotite in his talon. Ash realized his friend must've come across it in the past few years and felt special about it. Ash now had a mega evolving pokemon for the first time, and it would be one of his oldest friends. "Pidgeot do you wanna do this?" Ash asked his friend.
"Pidgeot!" his friend cried.
"Alright Pidgeot Mega Evolve!"
Ash watched as his Pokemon grew into a larger and more majestic bird. Then he climbed on the back of his Pokemon, waved a farewell to professor Oak, and then shot off into the sky.
