I don't own Taimanin, FFXV or other FF series games.
Final Fantasy belong to Square Enix.
Taimanin belongs to Black Lilith.
The New Adagium
"Hell yeah! Go Ardyn, kick your brother's traitorous stony ass!" A voice of a young man yelled playing the newest DLC of Final Fantasy 15, Episode Ardyn. He was a 5'7 Caucasian young man with brown hair wearing plain clothing as he play the PS4. He used one of Ardyn sweep attack, sending hundreds of red spectral weapons at a giant statue at the knee, causing it to stumble to its knees before finishing it off with a sweep of Ardyn's blade. He yelled in celebration while a cutscene of Ardyn and a young man played out.
The cutscene then changed to Ardyn going to kill a middle-aged man with a mustache before being sent away to meet an entity. The entity was enormous a metallic suit of armor similar to that of the traditional Dragoon armor and is more humanoid in appearance. It has a dragon's tail, and the wings of his armor are made of swords, 15 on each side, the being also brandishing one. He also two long red capes with golden markings that billow behind him, giving him the appearance of flying with wings.
The entity, named Bahamut, asked that he must not the Lucis Caelum bloodline until the "King of Kings" is born. He must played the part of a demon that covers the world in darkness before the "King of Kings" kills him, relieving him of immortality and destroying the Lucis bloodline. I was given two choices for Ardyn to make: "Accept Fate" or "Reject Fate".
I choose accept scene and the ending scene starts with Ardyn in a ruin, walking down as he said, "to hell to it." Before the screen turn to black. I yawned before standing to eat dinner before going to bed, just before the screen brighten again to see Ardyn sitting on a throne, the same one in the final battle between Noctis and Ardyn.
Just as I was about to leave the room, Ardyn said. "Is there any way to change the fate that has bind us to the chain of destiny?" I turned around and saw Ardyn looking at the screen with forlorn expression on his face. Strange, is this one of the rare cutscene the developers put in the game? This is a bit shocking but despite it being a game, I can still symphonize his plot for becoming a monster and technically it's not his fault.
He was betrayed by his brother who took up the throne, took everything from him, killed Aranea in cold blood and was forced to become the sacrificial lamb just because this 'Bahamut'. I refuse to believe this is the cool dragon Bahamut from the other final fantasy franchise, he's just a human wearing draconic armor and spamming out swords like Shirou in Fate/Stay.
Still guess I can just interact the game for a bit. "Yeah, I guess you can. That is if you can find the way to break the chain of fate and destiny." I replied to Ardyn, I turned around and was about to exit the room to go eat dinner. Time for some delicious spaghetti I'm going to be cooking up for the day!
When I was just by the doorknob, I suddenly heard him laugh in amusement. "Then you are the perfect candidate to do so." And the shocking part is that he actually replied back to me. I turned around and look at the screen seeing that Ardyn was directly looking at me.
"What the fuck?!" I shouted in surprise. "This has to be some kind of a prank because there is absolutely no way in hell a game was supposed to do that!" I pointed at the screen while Ardyn was still smiling at me, this is totally creeping the fuck out of me.
Just before I know it I suddenly felt dizziness on my head like I went to a spiraling roller coaster. I put my head trying to get rid of the dizziness, but it doesn't work. I fell to the floor on my knees and fainted down to the floor.
Just before I fainted, I heard Ardyn laughing solemnly as he said, "May your life be better than my, Adagium. Etro, Bahamut, you better treat him right. Or else, all worlds will burn in my vengeance."
Later
When I woke up again and saw I was in the same space as Ardyn was when he was speaking to 'Bahamut'. I looked around in confusion before seeing a giant dragon flew by me. It is a gray dragon with a humanoid body, long neck and tail and large wings. It glows purple under its scales, and it has purple pupil-less eyes. It has horns, small tusks and clawed hands and feet. It then flew in front of me before landing standing up. Ah crapbasket.
"Hello, Adrian, I am Bahamut, the true Bahamut unlike the armored bastard that is posing as me. I have summoned you to rid Eos of the false Bahamut that rules Eos like a mad tyrant. In return for your help with defeating him, his powers as well as the other Astrals powers are yours for your use. I will need Ifrit and Shiva's help as well, but the false Bahamut destroyed them, but Etro have recovered their fragments and spread them over another world. Do you accept this mission?"
My jaws was still hanging since I couldn't believe that I was meeting Bahamut, the ultimate dragon as well as one of the most iconic figure of the Final Fantasy series. I lifted a finger and said, "What. The. Fuck. How in the hell are you real? For that matter, why the hell in this place and why in the fuck is Ardyn able to communicate with me despite being a fucking video game character?!" Bahamut looked at me with a raised eyebrow. He turns to a mirror with an image of a beautiful woman that is looking at him with a smile.
"This is the man you wanted to help me defeated False Bahamut? The fact that you and Ardyn made this plan without me greatly confused me. But for your sake, I will do what you wanted, since I want to be reunited with you. And kill the False Bahamut that broke our bond and force me out of Eos and kept you in captivity."
"Helloooooooooo? You there? I am- wait, did you said False Bahamut? What the hell did you mean 'False Bahamut'?"
Bahamut sighed, before telling him what he knows of the False Bahamut. The fact what he did seem likely similar to FFXV Bahamut. What he said about what he looked like is exactly like FFXV. In face of what Bahamut said about what False Bahamut was trying to do shocked me, since I never knew that Bahamut would tried to destroy humanity just to destroy the Starscourge. Needless to said, I was abroad on 'Etro's' plans of fighting 'False' Bahamut.
"What do I need to do to help you with fake Bahamut?"
"The task will be difficult for you, you see the pretender has power over his backing, enough to use my OWN power, the Terraflame. Wiping out humanity, he has attempted to done this twice in fact." two fingers were put up as an example at the attempts of the fake Bahamut trying to wipe out the whole planet ecosystem?! With just Terraflame?
"Holy fucking shit I never knew that Terraflame was capable of a whole planet." I exclaimed as I put my hand on my forehead in shock, I never knew how OP Bahamut can be.
"it was never meant to be!" Bahamut roared out in anger with the air pressure so strong I struggled to keep myself balance. "My Terraflame was only meant to destroy enemies not to obliterate humanity itself! He was attempting to destroy the planet just because he is the so-called god! He stole my name, power and say it was for the greater good!"
I think I hit a nerve there. I struggled to keep myself steady as the winds generated from Bahamut's power seemed like I was being pushed back by a very powerful wind blower. Then all of a sudden, the winds just disappear, and I fell down to the non-existing ground which feels solid there. I admire the scenery for a bit, I carefully looked up and saw Bahamut was regaining his breath.
"(PANT) (PANT) (PANT)." He straightens his stance and looks down at me with calmness. "Forgive me for that, I sometimes don't have control over my anger." Obviously, I wanted to say that but couldn't because I knew he would wipe me out an instant.
"Its alright Bahamut." I got up and waved my hand in nonchalant, Bahamut nods his head in acknowledgement. Still two times? When did that happen, the wiki says that he attempted to destroy Ifrit due to him wanting to destroy humanity but there was a bigger picture in that, I need to know more about this false bahamut. "Can you...explain to me the times he tried to destroy the world?" I asked Bahamut.
He stood silent for the moment which worried me I thought I also hit the nerve the second time but to my relief he wasn't agitated. "The first time...was not our brightness moment." I looked in confusion what he meant by that and why did he look sorrow? "The gods used to looked closely after humanity in the times of the old. The empire Solheim worshipped and advanced almost to the divines, even Ifrit looked more closely towards them." I sense an but which confirmed it when Bahamut turned his head away in what it looks like regret. "It was then the humans of old had begun to scorn us and wanted more power from the gods, to make it their own. They tried to steal Ifrits power but didn't because he was too powerful to control thus began his crusade to exterminate humanity. The false dragon used this opportunity to wipe out most of the gods and take up the title for the supreme god. We should've seen it coming."
Wow, not even the game or the fandom explained that a lot in the history of Solheim. Damn, is that world exist only for drama and tragedy where no happy ending exist? Bahamut continued. "The second time was that in one timeline Ardyn was too powerful for the Starscourge to be expelled thus attempted to use Terraflame the second time to destroy the world."
"Wait a fucking minute, he tried to destroy during the time Noctis was alive?" I said in surprise to Bahamut showing my eyes widen and eyebrow raised up at him, he nods his head.
"Yes he did, but fortunately Noctis and his allies managed to defeat the false king, stripping him of his power and strength." He gripped his fist while showing a fanged smile in victory which is shared by me. Take that stupid god! Karma also comes to get back at you! But then it disappeared when showing a frowned face. "But at the cost of stripping magic and our influence from Eos, lived a happy life with his beloved wife alive."
"How...is that a bad thing to you? Isn't it good that he's dead in that timeline? And Noctis achieving a happy ending?"
"It's because I want to fix the damage while restoring the bridge between the gods and humans. And his influence from the world Eos that me and Etro spend so much time in."
"Give me one good reason why I should trust you? Considering a known fact that gods are known of being crafty and trick people into doing their dirty work before screwing them over once they done. Hell, maybe I won't accept it and said fuck you before leaving. No offence." Bahamut sighed, knowing that was the case. He wasn't wrong, the gods he met were like that and he was severely tempted to kill them but resisted the urge.
"You're not wrong about that. BUT, I am not like those pathetic gods. I am better, not because of arrogant but I know how to control myself unlike the gods of both new and old. I am also willing to grant you the powers of the Adagium, as well as the mechanical skill to construct the machines from other versions of Eos to help you in defeating False Bahamut."
I raised a brow at that, "What 'machines'?"
"Some of them you may know as Magitek Armor, if you recall that, as well as other types of machines."
"OOHHHHHHHH shit! Those things, oh my god! You have a very hard bargain, my dragon friends. You really want him gone do you?" I asked him with some more certain from the dragon god.
"He took everything from me and ruined my reputation, Adrian. I can't reach to the realm of Eos and enact my revenge. I am not strong enough to even get out of this place, even if I were to escape from this realm I would be powerless to even free my love." Bahamut looks at theimage of a beautiful woman that is looking at him as he puts a hand on it which is followed by the goddess which I presume to be Etro.
Damn, he's really tempting me to accept the task. FFXV is just all about drama huh, if even I were to accept I would have to become involve with drama and tragedies...but then again what do I have to gain and lose. "Alright Bahamut, I'll accept the task but first I want to talk with Ardyn."
Bahamut nodded before Ardyn appeared beside him, he looked around for a moment before laughing as he saw me. "Well, well. It seems my successor is going to ask me questions. Oh, what ever should I do?" He said in a joyful yet oddly doubtful tone. "Why did you choose me if you were going to die?" He laugh, "Oh I didn't. I never hopes of my successor completing the task, despite having the experience needed to complete."
He showed me everyone who wanted me to success in this daunting task, including Cloud, varieties version of Ramuh, Shiva and Ifrit, and others like Lighting, Chaos and more.
"Then if that was the case, why didn't you send me away?" I asked Ardyn with some more uncertain because if he didn't just chose me like a shonen protagonist, I was just only a random person to him then.
Ardyn sighed and took off his hat "To honest I didn't like I said. Choosing a naïve boy which was you." He pointed his finger at me. "But sometimes when you are desperate of something and, despite my doubts, there were a small part of me, the old me, wanted you to success. In fact, quite a few other people wants you to success in your endeavor." He leaned close to my face, making me flinched as he went into the daemon mode. "I don't care what the cost is, destroy humanity. Make people's life worse or ruined, I have little doubt that you would succeed. If you fail everyone, included me, I will teach pain like no longer, do you understand me?"
(GULP)! Ardyn's demonic face looked scary on screen but now in first person point of view...I know the true meaning of terror now. I nod my head rapidly to Ardyn. "G-got it sir! I won't let you down!"
He hummed at this before letting go of my collar and dispelled his daemon mode but still had the face of disappointment. "Thats what a blind and useless fool would say, but they always end up being a chess piece to the beings who control our destiny." he turned around and walked away from me, he was about to leave the dimension when he squatted down.
Just then I had this thought of myself that I couldn't ignore. "Just one more thing before you leave sir." he stopped his act and stood up but still did not face me like I'm not worthy to have his attention. "Even if...if I were to cause so much chaos and evil in another world." I stopped my sentence as I tried to find the right words for this instead of upsetting him. "Would it be worth it? Like you said I will admit I am a naïve boy that came from a different world, how can you know that I would even succeed. Because if I fail... then I would also lose your chance of seeing Aera."
Ardyn stood silent, unmoving his figure as he still did not turn his attention to me. I hope I didn't mean to upset or make him angry for pointing out the reason. I'm being realistic here, I know for a fact I might fail Bahamut and Ardyn's expectation.
Ardyn finally spoke after for a while. "Who knows Adrian. It's better to just do the action instead of waiting for words. We might be surprised at your success or be disappointed in your failure. Because sometimes you just have to be a little more chaos in between or in the end." He finished his speech before he disappeared leaving black and purple miasma. Leaving his hat which fell to the ground.
I looked at the spot Ardyn was previously before walking to his hat, picking it up. I dusted it off before putting it on, "I do you proud Ardyn, side, you are a skilled manipulator, but I am an agent of chaos, and that is scary." I smirked before seeing the same black and purple miasma surrounds, making briefly swung around to tried get rid of it before disappearing.
Bahamut stood alone before summoning several books and covered them in the same miasma before disappearing as well, with him smirking. "False Bahamut…your meddling will be undone. Your reign will be torn down. And your life will end, either by Ardyn's successor, Ardyn himself or me, it doesn't matter. You. Will. Die.
He laugh sinisterly with Etro looking at him in happiness at his monolog. Happy to know that it won't be long. Until they will be finally reunited.
And destroy the false title Bahamut.
Tenebis Lucis Caelum.
END
Hello, everyone. This is Dark Lord Xehanort with a new crossover story of FFXV and Taimanin. In this story, the SI-OC will be an displaced Ardyn who was given a mission from Bahamut, the real Bahamut, to gather an army. This army will fight False Bahamut, FFXV Bahamut, who is actually named Tenebris Lucis Caelum, the ancestor of Ardyn and Somnus. The reason for naming FFXV Bahamut that was because of the Dawn of the Future book.
That book have a massive point for my reason in naming him. Please give honest review but do not give flames. If you do, i will report your ass.
